The large arena was silent, two combatants facing each other twenty meters apart in the center of the huge circular arena. Sand covered the arena floor, and the sun beat down from above. There was only one thing to do. Kill or be killed.

  • One generic level 1 Force user
  • One single bladed lightsaber.
  • Clothes

  • Keep fluff to a minimum, focus on technical detail
  • Instructors will be posting observations and advice throughout the thread, once every posting round or two.

Vosrik stood resolute across from his opponent. How he arrived here today was irrelevant — but he had one goal, and that was to destroy any who wished harm upon himself or any who served the Light. Igniting his emerald green lightsaber in his right hand, he held it defensively at chest-level and opened himself to the Force, drawing it within himself.

Standing competitively slouched, a near perpetual look of distaste displayed a bit more focus than its usual. It wasn't uncommon to give in to bloodlust, just not to such an eager extreme. His blade ignited to match his opponent's, it's crimson casting an odd glow against a grey complexion. He held the weapon a fair distance away from him, not quite at his chest. Initially, Lance's interests lay more in observation and defense rather than offensive measures.

This guy definitely looked like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Being only a mere 10 meters away from his opponent, Vosrik began planning his attack. Walking forward to close the distance by about half, Vosrik continued drawing the power of the Force within himself but not releasing it yet. Dropping the tip of his lightsaber down to the ground, he flicked it into the air to cause particles of dust and rocks flying at his opponent's face. This would do nothing more than disorient him briefly or possibly force Lance to cover his face with a hand to stop the debris from getting into his eyes. It was simply an opening attack before the Jedi pressed his attack.
