Pyke Family Resupply..

Blackwell Tech is filling a huge order for the Rangers.. obviously we can't allow that to continue, manifest notes supplies of all sorts, all of which are beneficial to the Family. Most importantly, however, are the BV-1000 'Hawkbat' Urban Patrol Speeders these could prove invaluable to the Pyke Family in maintaining control of its assets and interests. Get it before its gone and bring it home.

Julius Arvo honestly thinks of himself as an incorrigible rogue. He admits that he was brought up better than the way he has decided to live. To be honest it wasn't really his fault. It all started with a corrupt customs agent trying to take advantage of his apparent youth. His father had brought him up to be a law bringer in what is considered the unknown regions of the Galaxy.

Even though he was registered as a bounty hunter in numerous regions. First the customs agent then the sector rangers which led to a lost load and a debt, as well as a dead customs agent. They couldn't prove the killing, he was able to keep his ship. However there was no way around it the debt was incurred. It didn't take long to repay the Pykes. They then offered him a position.

He didn't mind taking this new job at all especially since he was sticking it to the Sector Rangers.

He had set down on this dump then had his Droid and mate take his Freighter to coordinates empty of traffic lanes as well as any inhabited planets. Armed only with three data spikes and a hand held comm link set to the correct frequency and a replacement transponder board he made his way to Blackwell Tech. After 3 days of watching he finally saw his chance and headed for the next ship to be loaded. As luck would have it it was also a T 5 medium freighter just like his own.

Now he just hoped his armed escort arrived in time to provide the interference he was sure he was going to need

Rafe stood overhead from his counterpart @Julius Arvo, his binos fixated on the 5-T Medium Freighter carrying what would soon be the Pyke's cargo. Rafe watched as the last of the almost two dozen Hawkbats, along with various other crates full of an enormous amount of benefiting materials for the Syndicate.

Rafe looked over the rest of the docks belonging to Blackwell Shipping, the distribution arm of the Blackwell Technologies mega-corporation, there were hundreds of ships, with probably billions of credits worth of merchandise, Rafe shook his head, maybe he was in the wrong line of work..

Rafe looked down at @Julius Arvo Looks like it's go time.. Rafe said, stepping off his perch and starting the journey to their target ship. They had a decent walk to get there, but nothing between them and the docks.

Rafe hoped this would be a fast and easy job, Blackwell employed some security, mostly droids, but they wouldn't have long between boarding the ship and reinforcements arriving. By Rafe's estimate, they probably had about forty minutes or so before the flight crew arrived for transport. Was time to hoof it..

Rafe was quick stepping as he went, it would take at least fifteen minutes to get there, which closed the window of time he need by a bit more than he was comfortable with. His peacemaker heavy blaster pistol was loose in his holster, ready for a quick draw should he need it.

Jules would have preferred to start the approach from closer to the ship but he would live with it. He just hoped that the size of the hulking Rafe went unnoticed. There was just not that much cover between here and the ship. The good thing was that this area wasn't patrolled and there wasn't any guard posts covering it.

Jules was just carrying the tech gear necessary to collect the ship and its cargo. He figured if anyone was unlucky enough to challenge him well he would just use their own weapon against them. He had done it before and had gotten comfortable with going in to situations unarmed knowing that there were always weapons for the taking whenever things got hot.

He and Rafe had covered nearly the full distance to the ship with 50 feet to go he was sure that they had not yet been spotted.

The pair made their way silently through the through the distance leading to the ship, Rafe's jet black armour and the pairs own stealth abilities helping them maintain their perceived invisibility.

They'd made it to the ship, the hustle and bustle of the area help even more as they got closer, machinery, droids, and engines clouding the airways.

Rafe crept his way to the ramp of the ship's hold, ducking behind it and peeking out. The pad leading up to the ramp was devoid of life and materials, by now they'd been loaded completely. Good... Let's move.. Rafe said as he hoisted himself up onto the ramp, and bolted inside the ship.

The cargo bay was huge.. capable of holding some five-hundred tons, if the specs were actually true.. Rafe kept his head on a swivel, hand on his blaster, as he hustled through rows and rows of crates with the trademarked Blackwell Tech logo, and twenty or so Hawkbats.. it's all here..

Rafe found the door that led to bowels of the ship, there's no way they'd just leave all this unprotected.. Rafe drew his blaster pistol as he stacked up on the door, he'd let @Julius Arvo go first, as he scanned the massive cargo hold again for another other signs of life.

Dodging through machines and droids that cluttered the area around the ship they quickly made it to the to the loading ramp. Moving quickly through the hold Jules noticed a row of BA-10 Astro-Mech Droids nice he thought. As they reached the hatch that leads up to the cockpit an down to engineering Rafe stopped.

Reaching out with the Force he concentrated for a moment Jules felt two lifeforms one up and one down. Touching Rafe on the arm, Jules used hand gestures to signal that there were two occupants and that they were in different locations. Touching his chest Jules signaled he would go up. He didn't wait for Rafe's acknowledgement he simply hoped it wouldn't be too noisy or too messy.

Jules quickly mounted the stairs and could not believe his ears when he heard the waste system engage in the head.

Rafe vaguely understood the hand signals of the man standing outside the door with him. There were men up and down, though Rafe didn't understand where. Either way when @Julius Arvo opened the door and bolted up the stairs, Rafe bolted the opposite direction, expecting to come across someone immediately, though he did not, it would be a minute or so before he came to a door, there was obviously someone on the otherside making the noises Rafe could hear.

Having separated Rafe kicked open the door, and pounced on the man from behind. Rafe's right claw covered the man's mouth and dug into his cheek bones, the other claw quickly tore into the man's throat, his muffled protests turning the softened noises wet quickly.

Rafe let the limp body slump to the floor, the altercation had taken less than ten total seconds, scanning around the room he saw no one else was present, Rafe exited the room, closing the door behind him and started his making his way quickly to the cockpit, stopping only to lock the door that led from the cargo hold, it wouldn't do to have someone creeping up their backsides..

Rafe climbed the stairs to see where @Julius Arvo was now, and what he'd done to his target upstairs.

Sahren was not a quiet man. His body was wide and muscular, making it difficult for him to hide behind objects. On top of that, the armor he typically wore was incredibly heavy, and it made loud clanking sounds when he moved too quickly. For these reasons, stealth missions were not his forte, but he was excellent at one thing. He certainly knew how to cause a distraction, and he told @Rafe as much before their crew took on this mission.

The mercenary walked out in the open towards the dockyard, clad in armor but with his helmet off. He held a bottle of alcohol in his left hand while swaying side-to-side towards the facility. The man appeared drunk to most, but it was a ruse in actuality. Some of the dock workers who saw him coming would give confused looks and begin telling their peers. Before long a small group of workers would be watching on, as the armored mercenary approached the building. One of the workers there would ask, "Can we help you with something sir?"

Armory would reply in kind, "Can YOU help ME with something!? HA, I doubt it! Your just some damn pawn working for this company." One of the other workers would whisper to a co-worker, "Should I get security?". The mercenary would approach even closer, only a few meters away from a building. "I'M HERE BECAUSE I WANT A REFUND! THE LAND SPEEDER I PURCHASED LAST WEEK WENT OUT!"

Another worker would begin shouting "It's a code blue! Refund request! Get security stat!" Several large security guards and security droids from around the facility would be forced to divert their attention outside. Meanwhile, many of the workers would also begin to divert their attention to the apparent unhappy customer.

"I WANT TO SPEAK WITH MR. BLACKWELL, I got something to say to him about these damn prices, and the bogus insurance policy!" On that note, Sahren would find himself face to face with several security guards who were all trying to get him to back away from the facility.

Jules opened the door, he had to give the guy credit he did reach for com link instead of his drawers. It really didn't matter much the full force front kick Jules delivered drove the toe of his work boot right through the security guards windpipe. The guy flew back into the bulkhead his neck at an impossible angle.

Reaching out with the Force he pulled the com link into his hand even as he turned and then crossed the hallway to the cockpit. He could hear on the guards com that there was a disturbance on the far side of the facility. Once in the pilots seat he opened its panel and removed the transponder board, and quickly replaced it. He then simultaneously closed the loading ramp and turned on the navicomputer.

As he inserted the data spike with the pre set jump coordinates he felt Rafe approaching. Jules then turned on the engines . As he expected there was a near immediate call over the com. "1 B 9 our sensors are showing that your engines have started. Picking up the guards com link Jules spoke in a muffed voice. "1 B 9 , yea, the flight engineer said he needed to to test the ion pressure build-up in the thermo-coupler." He grinned when whoever was on the other side said," oh, all right then".

Without looking back he said " looks like the diversion worked, you had better strap in we almost have enough power for weapons and shields.

Rafe didn't even think to grab the comm from the guy in the basement, so when he arrived to the cockpit, the mangled body laying on the floor, Rafe had little inkling as to what @Julius Arvo was talking about, until he remembered speaking with @Sahren in the matter. Well that's good.. at least everything was going smoothly thus far.

Rafe slammed down in one of the chairs and started picking away at the systems, he took him just a minute or two to bring the ship's medium deflector screen generator online, they'd likely need that.. Rafe diverted the power from the weapons systems to the shield and engines, a get away was more important than fighting back, though he was doubtful the docking port would even fire upon them, afterall if this ship was shot down and crashed onto any other cargo freighter that could be millions in lost revenue.. plus Rafe could almost bet the freight they were stealing was insured, probably for more than its worth..

The ship was almost ready, shields were up, and the thrusters were prepped, Get us out of here.. Rafe said, they would still need to break atmosphere before they could jump into hyperspace, and hopefully @Sahren had his own way out off this rock, since whoever was in charge would have a very hard time proving he was involved, Rafe imagined @Sahren wouldn't have too much trouble.

While the other syndicate members continued on their mission, Sahren was hard at work distracting the workers. If all went well, they would be too preoccupied to even notice the heist. One pair of security guards would begin walking forward, trying to back up the upset customer. "Sir, you need to stand back. Everyone knows all sales are final!" Continuing his ruse, the mercenary would begin shouting "SALES? FINAL? No one said that at the dealership! I'm going in there and taking a new ride!"

As the commotion went on, even more workers would stop what they were doing to come watch. The majority of the security personnel was diverted to the east side of the facility. The guards meanwhile, would continue advancing on Sahren. Several of them would attempt to grab and grapple him, while the rest of the crew would be busy sending reports of the incident. "Sir, you need to leave the premises now." Armory would try to tug away his arm, but even more guards would show up to pin him down.

While this would usually be a horrible situation, but in this case, the mercenary had an escape plan. Sahren's jetpack would ignite, launching himself into the air and shaking off some of the human guards. As he ascended, some of the security droids there would begin firing off stun blasts from their weapons. Thankfully, his armor could take a few small hits, and the distance helped throw off their aim.

"SCREW YOU BLACKWELL! I'll get my refund eventually!" He would shout, before raising his left wrist towards the side of the building. Doing so, a small rocket would shoot outward and collide with the facility's wall. A large hole would be put into the building's side, and many of the workers would start panicking. Some would even start trying to contact the local authorities. Hopefully the continued diversion would be enough for his partners. Armory couldn't stick around much longer before he was out gunned.

Engaging the engines Jules took off at the maximum speed he could. He was headed directly for his first set of jump coordinates. So far there were no alarms, no com chatter, nothing even suggesting that anyone had even noticed their departure.

The moment their new ship broke the atmosphere Jules began scanning for anything that could get between them and his jump points.

Rafe held on as the ship ascended, a lit death stick already in his mouth. He figured either they'd succeed and this could be a celebratory smoke, or they were gonna die and he could use one for that as well..

There must of been at least a dozen or so ships that took off at the same time, flight crews trying to escape the chaos of the explosion, and speeders taking off as well. In all that mess Rafe and @Julius Arvo escaped without a question, they probably wouldn't even notice this ship was gone for a couple hours.

Rafe took a longer drag once the pair broke atmosphere in the stolen freighter, his counterpart knew the coordinates to jump to, and a crew should be waiting around once they got there to get the thing unloaded, so for now... Rafe threw his feet up on the console, Rafe got to relax. Scanners showed there was no one pursuing them, and a few moments later the freighter hit hyperspace and the far off dots of distant stars turned to warped white lines as they slid by the transparisteel windshield of the ship. Well I'll be a Rodian... I don't think I've seen a job go that smoothly in a long while.. Rafe said, exhaling all over the cockpit.

Once they arrived to their rendezvous the ship would be unloaded by Pyke Syndicate labor forces, and Rafe and his counterpart @Julius Arvo would receive their payment, and eventually also @Sahren he assumed. The good thing about the Pykes was that they always paid, and they usually paid handsomely.. unlike the Hutts.. who's payments might be credits, might be attempting your murder... that's just bad business..

Rafe sat back, he'd smoke a few more death sticks between now and then, and just relax, allowing @Julius Arvo hold the reigns of the ship for now.

Jules only made his first hyperspace jump blind based on week old data. After that he checked and confirmed each jump with the navicomputer for any changes or updates. The navicomputer confirmed each of the remaining jumps free of anomaly and gravity wells. During one of the long jumps he began doing a spot inventory.

Since the 12 Astro-Mech Droids were not on the manifest that they had he figured he would keep them along with the ship there was a lot of stuff here that wasn't on the manifest, he began to wonder if this ship wasn't carrying two different orders.
That was when he noticed a case that was still on a load lifter the kind used for very heavy loads. Opening the case he saw it was full of metal ingots he wasn't sure what they were but he suspected.
Going back up to the cockpit he told Rafe, " I think that we actually have two different loads, and you probably aught to check out the case on the load lifter."

With the large hole now protruding from the building's side, and the sight of distant ships taking off, Sahren knew it was time to leave. Various law enforcement Land Speeders began pulling up to the area, just as the mercenary managed to rocket off into the night's sky by jetpack. He would have to lay low around Blackwell owned properties for a while, but that penalty would be well worth their group's reward. "See ya later Kriff-suckers!" he would chuckle to himself.

Around thirty minutes later, Armory would land in a secluded and mostly abandoned docking bay. There would be his old KS-9910 Kathol-Class ship, rusty, but ready for a clean get away. After a few hours into his flight, he would be sure to send Rafe and Julius an audio log detailing his escape. It appeared all three of them managed to avoid arrest, and sometimes that was a rarity in the galaxy...Deciding to celebrate a bit he would call his fellow criminal's commlink "Another job well done, we've gotta be the pyke's top dogs by now, eh Rafe." He would chuckle a bit at the reference.

You take what you want.. Rafe said, he didn't want to know what was down there, and he didn't want to be tempted, his goal was to crawl up the Pyke ranks, and if whatever he took off this ship, other than the ship itself was what they were looking for specifically, he didn't want to want the one who's ship they found it in..

Rafe had taken the controls as his counterpart had decided to head down to the cargo hold, they were almost to their destination. Rafe had flicked a death stick just as the call came in affording a chuckle at the zabarak's comment, They'd be barking mad not to.. Rafe jested back. Lets hope we're moving in the right direction.. Rafe said, tired.

He pulled the ship out of hyperspace, a Corvette floating in the distance, their benefactors... Rafe would pull the freighter up alongside it, the cargo bays facing each other as they docked.

Rafe bolted down to the cargo hold to see @Julius Arvo, anything he'd wanted had hopefully been moved to a different part of the ship by now. Once the docking tube was open scores of Pykes started to flood in, the whole process would take quite some time, and Rafe would simply watch as it happened, lighting a death stick every now and again as he did so.

After the dust settled @Julius Arvo must of been correct, because about an eighth of the ship's cargo hold was left untouched, not a whole lot, but some decent left over loot, an even split of that plus what the pykes were paying them would make this an effectively lucrative job for the three ruffians.

One final Pyke boarded the ship, two boxes in his hands, and presented one each to @Julius Arvo and Rafe, Rafe would shake it gently, allowing the weight and sound of the contents to tell him he was being paid quite handsomely..

After the pykes had all left their ship Rafe said,We better beat feet while we can.. and made his way back to the cockpit to get the kriff outta there, capital ships made him uncomfortable, what with their turbo lasers and what not.. they could cut his ship in half if they had the notion.. not his style.. being cut in half that is.

When the Pykes had finally left Jules made a bee line for his next jump point. It was gonna be a long ride to Rafe's ship and he kinda hoped that Armory would be there. Doing a complete check of rhe ship found the T 5 to be completely unmodified. He was glad that they had left the Astro-Mechs. Using the airlock Jules had ejected the bodies the old and now crushed transponder board as well as the com link into space.

Doing a quick estimate of the remaining cargo. He nodded to himself and then picked up his payment case and headed up to the cockpit. Walking in the door Jules had quickly split his payment in half. Since I'm keeping the ship and most of the remaining cargo I'm splitting my payment half to you and half for Armory. He wasn't sure who got the better end of the deal. It would be pretty close to even all around.

He settled down in the pilots seat and waited for them to exit hyperspace. As soon as he saw Armory he would tell him about the extra split and pass that payment on to him.
