BIOGRAPHY

A member of the royal Ordalos dynasty, Amira was born to very long line of Induparan monarchs, the likes of whom have ruled over the planet of Indupar and its constituent colonies for millennia. As the daughter of the King, Amira’s upbringing was nothing short of opulent and lavish - surrounded by all the wealth and influence that came with being the child of a monarch. She was raised during the period of Induparan isolationism following the battle of Exegol, ingraining into the princess a strong distrust for the rest of the Galaxy and sense of superiority towards Indupar’s neighbors in the Mid Rim.

While the events of Amira’s life would eventually lead to her ascension as Queen of Indupar, the path to the throne was not perfectly paved for the ambitious princess. While Indupar’s laws of absolute primogeniture succession meant she was not discriminated against based on her gender, the existence of her older brother - Prince Aarav - meant the title was destined to pass on to him, and not her. Believing herself to be better qualified for the throne and stubbornly unwilling to be sidelined, Amira privately grew to resent her older brother and aging father - coming to view them both as obstacles to what was rightfully her.

By the time Amira was a woman in her twenties, the political landscape of Indupar shifted - as it was discovered that her father was terminally ill, confined to his bed as death slowly but certainly crept closer. With the inevitable clear, it was expected by the Induparan aristocracy for Prince Aarav to ascend the throne of Indupar following his father’s passing. This, however, would not come to pass. Mere days before the death of the king, tragedy struck when Prince Aarav was involved in a freak speed accident - a malfunctioning repulsorlift engine caused the vehicle to spin out of control and crash - killing both the prince and those he was traveling with. While an official investigation and analysis of the speeder was conducted, no signs of foul play were ever found. With the sudden death of her eldest brother, the path to becoming Queen was open to Amira for the first time - and she soon ascended to the throne immediately following the death of her terminally ill father.

Since her ascension to the throne, Amira has ruled over Indupar and its constituent colonies for three long decades - preceding over a reign that has been characterized by its continued peace and beneficial trade agreements for the planet. Eventually, Amira would come to appoint her nephew - the son of her youngest brother - to the position of Governor of Indupar after several years as an administrator of one of the planet’s multiple provinces, instantly elevating him to the second-highest position within the planet’s bureaucracy. After continued pressure from Galek, the Queen was finally convinced to open her planet to negotiations with the rest of the Galaxy - and soon thereafter consented to their membership within the Independent Systems Consortium. Since aligning her planet with the Consortium, Amira has continued to preside over the day-to-day functions of her territories.

While questions regarding the death of her eldest brother and whispers of foul play have never completely silenced over Amira’s long reign, there are few people who have ever dared to voice such rumors in the presence of their monarch.

Personality

Intelligent, shrewd and incredibly ruthless - Amira has developed a reputation over the course of her long reign that evokes respect and fear in equal parts from her subjects. As an absolute monarch, Amira vehemently believes herself to be superior to those around her - and is more than willing to use her subordinates - even members of her own family - to achieve her own ends. She is a woman who has little patience for fools, and her reign has seen multiple purges of Indupar’s bureaucracy for inept decision-making or blunders.

As Queen, Amira prioritizes the continued prosperity and security of the Induparan Crown Worlds above all else. She would gladly see the rest of the Galaxy tear itself apart, if it meant that her planet would benefit in the end. Unlike her nephew, Amira’s commitment to the Consortium is (at least privately) contingent only upon the continued benefits that their affiliation had provided to Indupar.
