Okay, so as the title says, I'm curious as to how one would rank themselves if they were a clanless Mandalorian. Is there a system, or should I just put N/A for that one until (if) I join a clan? Also, I would like to inquire on what planets would be good ones to list as a homeplanet.

There is no rank structure beyond Mand'alor (Mandalore), the Sol'yc Al'akaan (First War Leader), the Sol'yc Cabur (First Protector), and the Aliit'alore (Clan Leaders). They aren't so much ranks as they are titles for various positions. Every Mandalorian, even those I just listed, is considered a verd (warrior) and they have the same rights as any other. If you hold one of the positions I mentioned above, your title changes, but it doesn't necessarily give you authority over anyone. Respect and loyalty is earned and warriors choose who they will follow based on that. If a leader is no longer supported, he or she is challenged and replaced. It's that simple.

However, some clans have a traditional rank structure, but those ranks mean nothing outside of the clan and are only used for organizational purposes on the battlefield. For your profile, "Verd" will do just fine for now. If you join a clan with a rank structure, you can add a "clan rank" line to your profile.

You can find a list of all our territorial holdings here. Some planets in the Mandalore Sector are known for hosting a specific clan while others have a mix. Manda'yaim (the planet Mandalore) is most commonly chosen as a homeworld, but there's plenty more to choose from... if you have questions about any of them, let me know or just look them up on Wookieepedia.
