What Happened?

After the Sith Order (at the behest of the Empress) got the Empire into a war with the ISC without consulting Imperial leadership — and a slew of other incompetencies that resulted in one Sith Lord captured and executed by the Jedi and another Sith fleet blown up — non-Force sensitive Imperials, and Force-sensitive Imperials feeling increasingly distant from the Sith religion, acted on decades of abuse and launch a coup.

This will likely lead to a civil war between the Sith Order and the break-away Din Empire.

What Happens to My Sith?

Members of the Sith Order have lost their military and government ranks, clearances, as well as all access to Sith intelligence, support from Imperials in government and in the military, and access to Sith faction tech (anything marked as Restricted Sith Tech currently in the technology boards). This is due to the ISB being controlled by an Imperial sympathizer who has the power to revoke clearances and change security codes and such.

They DO however keep whatever rank they had within the Sith Order (i.e., Champion, Master, etc).

Sith who want to remain Imperial citizens may do so under certain stipulations. Otherwise, they have been ordered to leave Imperial Space or risk arrest. This thread also contains details about how to switch your former Sith over to the Imperial Knights — the Empire's new Force-sensitive sub-faction.

What Happens to Force-Sensitive Imperials?

Nothing.

If your Imperial is a Sith sympathizer and makes this publicly known, they will be dealt with accordingly. But being Force-sensitive does not inherently disqualify your character for positions within the new Empire.

The only organization that restricts Force-sensitive usage is the ISB. Check the write up before applying.

But My Sith Owns a Planet...

If your Sith is the unquestioned ruler of a planet (i.e., king, or a queen) they may retain rule of that planet and choose to secede from the Empire.

However, they retain none of the Imperial navy and military personnel and equipment; and they will receive no support or protection from the Imperials, including financially or shipyards. They will need to build up their own forces.

Who Leads the Sith Now?

The Empress is dead.

Which means there is a vacancy in the leadership of the Sith Order. What usually happens when the Sith have a vacuum of power? :P
