With the Order now armed and no longer a secretive, hidden cult, Malicia saw no reason not to reclaim their old base and temple. There was so much history and potential on this world and the surrounding worlds, leaving it was a waste. Though she was Cadre, she was still a Sith on some level. It was something she'd recently been able to accept. Simply...

It was time for the Sith to go home.

Her ship landed on the planet, the coordinates no secret to its members. This trip, she allowed the hood of her Cadre-armor to stay down.

She'd contacted both @Darth Raze and her Cadre-brother @Darth Asminys , leaving them a message with the coordinates, her plans and an invite to help her lead it. She'd even sent off a message to @Renfry , the curious Nightsister, and offered for her to come. Who would accept her invite, she was not sure, but there were unknowns here. There could be creatures or beings that took up home in the abandoned temple and its bases. The Jedi seem to pop up everywhere in the galaxy nowadays, so who knows what they'd find. There was also many other layers, such as assigning men to the planets temple and bases, establishing defences, repairs and more. One thing she knew was there was some of the orders military on the way, both ships and men, in order to make that happen.

Any and all Sith were welcome to follow her or the other Darths, to help reclaim what was rightfully the Orders.

It was only when she took her first step on the planet that she truly felt the power that radiated from it. The Darth stood to soak it in. It felt as if the planet was welcoming her. As if it knew she was the same as it, or perhaps she was giving it more sentience than made sense. After a moment, Malicia brought one of her hilts to her hand and moved forward.

A small army of her cultists landed ships by hers. She was not going to pass up the opportunity of establishing some here, and some simply followed her whenever she didn't shoe them off. Her two most loyal cultists stepped out of her own ship and followed behind her as she went to her first target: the old Sith Temple.

Kor’ez stepped quietly off the shuttle onto the barren surface of the dead world. Dressed in his simple black tunic and robes with his lightsabers hanging from his waist. Otherwise he carried nothing, it was practically everything he owned anyway. Although no longer a slave he was still barely financially better off than he had been when serving that bastard Tarsus. Head slightly bowed, a habit from his days as an owned object, made the giant Twi’lek seem far less imposing as he shuffled around the surface. Even the Shuttle had been prearranged for him by a more important Sith.

He hadn’t understood the Sith fascination with this planet. The old planetary survey documents he’d been able to access seemed to indicate it was nothing more than a world of mountains and red sand. A devastated land from countless battles waged upon its surface. The Twi’lek had suspected it was perhaps mere sentiment that had drawn the Dark Lords here. Old stories spoke of power hidden deep in these Old Sith Worlds.

Now he knew better.

As soon as his feet had stepped from the durasteel ramp of the shuttle and onto the red world’s surface he’d felt it. A shock that ran through him, invigorating him but also whispering a dark threat. This was no mere dead world; it held darkness that could either empower or destroy those who came to claim it.

It was only after a few still moments that Kor’ez realised he was breathless, as if he’d been running for hours, and he began to raise the mental barriers within his mind as his tutors had instructed. There was much to gain here but also a great potential for loss. He was a mere acolyte and the world would rend him apart if he was not careful.

Glancing around at the others close by Kor’ez found no faces he recognised which was not surprising. He tended to keep to himself anyway and he imagined many here would be true Sith and not simple acolytes like himself.

Of those further away one being’s power roared in the force, eclipsing the others, and it only took a moment for Kor’ez to recognise her through the Force. Darth Malicia, not only one of the Lords of their Order and a Master of the Dark Side but also the Twi'lek's new Master.

‘Then you’d best not make any mistakes.’ he told himself silently as he moved away from the shuttle.

Instinct, or perhaps simple fear, caused him to unclip the hilt from his belt although he didn’t ignite the blade. Better safe than sorry.

Kor'ez had been very enthusiastic about this mission, mostly because he hoped for the chance to impress his new Master. The Temple instructors had trained him as best they could, alongside the others chosen to be given the chance to rise amongst the Sith, but there was only so much they had time to teach. Kor'ez now had a true Master, a teacher, who could show him how to cast off his weaknesses and become a true warrior. To show him how to move beyond his fear. Now he just had to prove that her choice of Apprentice had been the correct one.

Renfry's ship touched down and the Nightsister disembarked once again onto the surface of Moraband. The ship lifted off behind her once again and she squinted as the sand and dust kicked up around her.

There was a small army of Sith who were unloading from various ships and transports for the return to Moraband. Ahead, Renfry could see the Sith temple. In ancient days, the planet had been off limits to all but the most highly ranked Sith, but the temple that had been built here was still spectacular nonetheless. She reached out, feeling how potent the power here was. It felt like Dathomir: a place where the Veil was thin. Perhaps Dathomir wasn't the only world that needed protecting, but this was... different. She filed away the fact that she should study it eventually to try to make sense of it all. There was so much that was simply overlooked by your typical adept.

As her mind turned to the temple, she wondered what sorts of defenses had been left behind inside and if not defenses what sort of wildlife or spirits - no doubt tainted by the darkness of this planet - had made it their home. Renfry was curious and almost anxious, but both were her area of specialty, so perhaps that was why she'd been drawn here.

She spotted Malicia at the center of the gathering, no doubt having her hands full with giving out orders, but when she caught the Darth's eye she gave a gentle, second-long wave of greeting, continuing on toward the temple looming ahead.

Tiamat was hesitant about going to Moraband, she felt she could have occupied her time with other interests. Her training with Emryc involved much time reading and listening to stories of the past and Moraband seemed to play its role regardless of the era. She was uncertain if Emryc would even be present, he had seemed to engulf himself in the work of a politician and kept to his word that he would be gone for some time. However, being on Moraband to reclaim the world for the Sith again, Tiamat wondered if he would pass this opportunity, she felt even seeing him in passing would be enough to ease her thoughts and longing for his presence to be beside her.

She exited from her ship donned in her refitted armor, having found a deep midnight blue underlay to replace the black one, she felt more comfortable wearing something outside her typical garb. However, she still kept the armored plates black, inlayed with gold, reminding her much of the cosmic oceans she had flown through lately. As she avoided the exploration and clear crews lead by Darth Malicia who was quite noticeable with her pale features at the temple's entrance, Tiamat was uncertain what to expect here; she had heard the stories, but to experience the world was an entirely new sensation. The atmosphere was arid, no light passed through its yellow clouds, and the red sands nearly matched the her hair as it blew around her face from the winds. Unlike the nexus on Eriadu, the dark side here seemed ancient, it held secrets that many could not even begin to fathom the power it held. Tiamat decided she would stay longer than she originally planned.

Unlike others, she trekked through the Valley away from the main temple noting the paths that lead to the tombs of Lords past, or perhaps more fitting, their gods, that came before them. She kept her saber out, ready in a moments noticed of needing to slay any beasts that tried their fate against her. The place looked familiar, but it also looked grossly different. The images in holotexts were in no comparison to what she saw in person, her eyes slowly traced among the massive tributes to the gods of the past.

She could hear Emryc's stories, taking her back to her first lessons; at that point, she was only imagining what it would feel like to be here, but now, she could feel it almost...breathing? An ebb and flow of something greater than any ocean as it washed against her, threatening to pull weaker souls under its current. Tiamat stood in stillness as she looked at the stone eyes of the monument, hearing the echo Emryc's voice whispering the sith's name and herself repeating it out loud before she moved onward through the Valley.

It seemed that they were getting closer, the visions were growing faint, as if the light within the perceived images was starting to slowly ebb away from her sight - surrounding her and the manifested images that she could see before her fade into a deeper darkness, being consumed by the void itself. The Sith Lord, narrowed her milky white eyes as she increased her focus and concentrated on the large archaic glass orb that sat in front of her, allowing for her own energies to reach out and pour into the sphere, giving a brief moment of flickering life to the swirling blue fire that had manifested within its core. Seeking to achieve even but another few minutes of clarity to the visions that were manifesting in her meditations before the influence of the Sith's Ancestral planet took over.

With the fleeting sight of a temple washed in flame, the Sith Lord pulled herself out of her meditation - knowing there was little point in fighting the strength of a planet wide nexus to the dark side, she was not so arrogant in her own abilities to foolishly think she could beat the will of a planet that has been a seat for the various incarnations of the Sith over the last thousands or more untold years.

Blinking as her eyes phased back into their normal state, the blonde Sith took a deep breath, before rising up to her full height and stepping away - her gaze looking out of the transparisteel porthole of her quarters, regarding the crimson hued planet as it gradually grew larger, right up to the point where it all but filled the view out of the ship. "So begins the reclamation" Ceryx muttered to herself, as she moved her attention away from the view port and over to her effects.

The dusty haze started to thin as the engines of the transport ship powered down, the whine of the fuel starved engines being replaced with the sound of the servos and actuators whirring as the boarding ramp of the transport lowered. Revealing the hooded and robed form of Darth Ceryx at the top of the ramp, who for a moment stood and took in the sight of various ships that had all mustered at the co-ordinates transmitted by Darth Malicia. The landing grounds looked like a hive of activity, with various acolytes, cultists and serfs of the Sith Order running around, unloading the various ships and setting up for the Sith's return to their Ancestral seat within the Galaxy.

Stepping down the loading ramp, the Sith lord made her way towards the path that her fellow Sith where congregating and starting to walk along. Her mind opening into the Force and allowing for the raw potent strength of the dark side to run through her, savouring for a moment the rich history that it was imbued with, whilst most if not all of the Ancient Sith Spirits were lost in the walk of the final fall of Darth Sidious, their lingering traces and echoes could still be felt in the tumultuous currents that ran through the planet.

Leaving those who were aboard her transport to carry out their own respective duties, offloading and setting up the various equipment that had been loaded onto her ship. Ceryx quickened her pace to catch up with those who had already arrived, heading with purpose towards the looming and imposing form of the ancient Sith Temple and those Sith who were gathering around Darth Malicia before it.

Eight pairs of legs jumped out of the fighter Moridin had appropriated to make it to Moraband, the little pupper that had become his constant companion since Eiattu accompanying him into danger's maw once more. The young creature's excitement was in stark contrast to their sombre surroundings, and the even more sombre companions, the energized ball of energy zipping around like a Sith Lord on the dance floor after one death stick too many.

But while he was used to the little one's enthusiasm, he wasn't so sure about the other Sith. He knew all too well what they did to creatures like her, and he had no intention of seeing that happen again. So as they neared the gathering of Sith, he picked the little furball up and plopped her down atop his shoulders. The little skrill quickly wiggled around to come to a rest with her head and front paws atop his helmet, her favored vantage point during such excursions.

"No running off now," he said as they reached the gathering,"they're more free with their feet than me." Dressed in his armor and helmet, with the puppy atop his head he was sure to attract some glances, but he didn't much care. He was here to do a job, to discover more of the Dark Side's secrets that lay hidden within Moraband's depths.

As more Sith arrived, the air stirred with anticipation and curiosity. Malicia was not sure what to expect, though something became clear the closer she approached the temple: danger. Something silver flashed on the roof and the Darth looked up before quickening her pace to avoid what came after. A bolt flew past her, right behind into the planets dead ground.

"We aren't alone," the Darth grunted, her lightsabers red blade simultaneously hissing to life.

A sniper. On the roof of the old temple, behind the cover of some sort of man made durasteel shelter. And he was not alone, but he was the leader of the raiding group that had taken up residence on the planet. The leaders—captains—red cape twisted in the wind as his BM-792 Zok-10 Hunting Rifle settled on its next target: Renfry (@Phoenix). Firing a shot at the woman's torso, an attempt to mix up his stragey and catch one of the raiding groups new targets off guard.

The captain was not alone on the roof. There was only one stairwell up onto it, although none of the raiders had ever dared to venture into the temple so they also had a makeshift ladder up to the roof. Both ways up were being guarded by the captain's second in command and a rookie. Both had scatterblasters and tried to keep out of sight. Sniper rifles were expensive and they weren't interested in losing their leader either.

On the left flank of the temple, two men. On the right flank, three men. All equipped with the least expensive weapons, DH-17 Blaster Carbines. All of them leaned out and began to rain fire on all of the Sith (@Phoenix @Wit @Topher @Lazy Swordsman ) , except the one that had wondered off (@GABA).

Where Tiamat (@GABA) was, whispers began to drift through an icy cold breeze. One in particular stood out, "This way" the whisper hissed silkily, tugging at her mind from the left.

Renfry was thankful for the sniper's opening botched shot, because she was already moving when the shot came in at her. Fortunately, in addition to the sand, Moraband was also a rocky world.

She slid into cover behind a large rock as the gunshots continued to come down. There were a lot of them, and she looked out from behind her cover at the people above. She ducked back and focused on the Shadow.

A green flame began to consume her body, as it phased out of existence and into place again near the base of the temple and out of sight of the enemy. And then she paused. There was an urge to go inside the temple. To begin exploring while the others dealt with the gunmen. She knew they could, they were Sith after all, but she sighed and relented.

You should help, she told herself with an eyeroll, heading around the base of the temple and looking for their way up, not knowing if she was looking for a rope or ladder.

Eyes narrowing as she felt the Force react in her surroundings, the Sith's suspicions being confirmed by the grunted words of her fellow Sith Lord, Ceryx snatched her weapon free from its bindings and ignited the purple hued blade - the blade sparking to life after the first shot had came careening down towards Darth Malicia.

Ceryx's gaze narrowed as she directed her attention up towards the roof and upper exterior of the Temple, her eyes phasing into a deathly milky white, giving a clear visual sign that she was now summoning and bending the Force to her will. Whilst initially her gaze was held up towards the snipers up above, her attention was soon drawn towards the nearest side of the Temple from where she was standing, as three raiders broke out of the cover of the Temple's right hand flank and proceeded to open fire with their carbines.

The Sith Lord's features contorted into an expression of concentrated anger and rage, as she advanced towards the raiders, the blade of her lightsaber swiftly manoeuvring to intercept and deflect the incoming bolts of blaster fire. Whilst the digits of her free hand twitched as she manipulated the currents and energies of the Force, tendrils of darkened energies stretching out towards the three interlopers on the Sith Ancestral Worldas an extension of her will and intent to eradicate and remove the blight from the Sith world.

With the trespassers now in clear enough proximity, the swirling currents of the Force carrying her projected will, shot forward and wrapped around the lifeforces of the three raiders. The volleys of blaster fire from the three flanking around the right of the temple, soon fell to an abrupt end - only to be swiftly replaced by the sounds of intense screaming, as their immediate surroundings burst into flame. The summoned fire being focused and concentrated upon the interlopers, burning through their clothes, armour and anything else that they wore, before searing their flesh and immolating them.

It appeared more of their Order were gathering, almost all of whom looked like they eclipsed Kor’ez in power and experience. It seems that many of their kind had decided the retaking of the ancestral homeworld was well worth their time.

Glancing off to one side momentarily Kor’ez smiled slightly at the Sith wearing an adorable Strill pup riding atop an armoured man’s head. So distracted was the Acolyte that he almost missed the Darth’s warning. Focusing his attention outwards the Dark Side student suddenly felt the unwanted presences approaching them.

Igniting his own red blade he flicked the weapon up instinctively in a one handed slash which deflected the shot that was cutting through the air towards him.

Darting towards the closest of the group, those on the left flank of the temple, his one handed arcs of his red blade blurred as he twisted his wrist one way and then another to deflect oncoming shots.

From off to the right Kor’ez could feel the massive amount of Dark Side energies one of the greater Sith was using and he fed off it. He let it flood his large frame causing his muscles to swell with the Force. He didn’t know who their attackers were but he didn’t care. Soon they would be dead.

Within seconds he was amongst the two men as they tried to track the blur of movement that was the Acolyte. Fury filled him. For just the shortest few seconds Force Rage granted Kor’ez immense strength and speed. His weapon flashed in one direction and then the other as he removed the arms and then heads of the two carbine wielding men.

As the Dark Side left him Kor’ez felt exhaustion take over him and slumped slightly however he didn’t disengage his lightsaber. There were still people on the Temple’s roof and he wasn’t about to let his guard down yet.

Actions: Killed the two men on the left flank.

The echoes from the blaster fire reverberated down the valley and Tiamat paused to listen. Her eyes narrowed as she tried to move to where she could see what was happening, however, the curve in the valley prevented her from seeing clearly. She started to walk back toward the temple, but paused, feeling the Force draw her attention over her shoulder. Cautiously turning on her heel, she begun to walk again, her eyes drawn to another tomb and a whisper came with it.

This way...

Though Tiamat thought she should be smarter than to follow a mysterious whisper in the Force, on Moraband nonetheless, her curiosity was piqued. Besides, what ever they were shooting back at the temple, she was certain they could handle. There were plenty of sith back there to take care of any unwanted beasts that could have been hanging out.

The tomb's entryway was much like the others, a narrow sliver carved into the canyon's surface, the shadows hid the shallow stone stairs that descended underground. The young Sith ignited her blade to give herself some light, the red glow illuminated only a few feet ahead of her. Closing her eyes, she reached out to the whisper, looking for its presence and hopefully a sign of its intention; with the Force bent under her command, it seemed to be sensed by the tomb. The walls pulsed with a silver light, etching geometrical patterns as it light the way down the stairs.

Tiamat extinguished her blade, but kept cautious, her free hand ran along the glowing lines on the wall as she looked to see what else this tomb held.

Malicia's eyes were still on the roof while the others dealt with the ones lower. Outstretching her arm, she wrapped the Force around the shelter and ripped it to the side. Partly because of shock, the sniper was dragged with his shelter all the way off the roof. The Darth let go of the shelter after, allowing the two to fall from the great height. If @Kor'ez didn't move or do anything, both the shelter and sniper would fall on top of him.

The two raiders on the roof, now witnessed something they didn't understand and facing empty comms decided to stay low. They stared at one another and both understood that neither wanted to make any sound. Both were taking a gamble and fell back against the door on the roof.

The Darth assumed that her cultists or the other Sith would do a sweep and deal with any other men, if there were any. She was now standing in front of the closed temple. The doors did not automatically open and so she gazed along it. There was ancient Sith writing, carved deeply into the doors. Malicia was not raised Sith, but her Sith masters did teach her multiple languages in order to function in her role. Because of this the Darth understood a reoccurring word across the doorways:

Power

She pressed her hand against the door as an experiment, perhaps she needed to push or use the Force. The moment her hand made contact with one of the doors, something jolted through her body. Dark blue bolts crawled up her arm, up her shoulders, onto her chest and head and legs and entire body, painfully ravaging through it. The suddenness forced her to let out a short scream, but she did not fly backwards. Whatever it was had seized her body. There was a moment where she felt like something was looking at her, and then the bolts were gone and the doorway hissed and creaked, then opened.

The raiders on the roof felt the door behind them open and, because they were pressed against it, both fell backwards into the stairwell.

----------------- Inside the Tomb -----------------

lrqWQmz.jpg

Tiamat's attempt to search for the spirits intent was not met with resistance. She'd feel that it hungered. That it, he or she longed for something. It wanted her to come. It was in agony and a cold, dangerous layer of anger lingered there just barely beneath everything else.

Three doors, glowing with glyphs, opened up. Each lead into a chamber. The first chamber was simply lined with statues, all bowing their heads. The next chamber was the same, though one statue was broken into pieces. The third chamber was obviously the site of a tomb. Beside that tomb a gray mass lingered, vaguely in the form of a humanoid.

If the young Sith—Tiamat—decided to go through all three doors, this mass would seemly talk to her, though there was no face on it. "You. There is a creature or humanoid that I sense nearby. It can free me. Bring it to me. Bring it to me, now," the voice hissed. "And, I will open the last door behind me. You will be given all my treasures..." it said, though Tiamat wouldn't be able to sense if this spirit, or Dark Side entity, was telling the truth or not.

Well on second look, it appeared that the others had the shooters soundly tied up. Most were dead (all?) and if they weren't dead, they seemed to be hiding.

She turned back to the temple as the others moved to finish things off. She saw the lightning jump out and grab the Darth, but subside before Renfry could intervene, and the doors began to open.

Renfry's eyebrow quirked up, skeptical of what they'd find inside, but unperturbed. She made her way inside. The first thing she noticed was how much cooler it was inside than out. One might even say that it was unnaturally cool for the temperature outside. Yes, she knew that the stone was insulating, but not this much.

The second thing she noticed was that it smelled stale. If she had to guess it hadn't been opened in... well, centuries at least. That would fit with what she knew of Sith history. Unless Sidious himself had come here, it was likely totally undisturbed. The Jedi and Republic had been afraid to come to this world. All for the better, she supposed, but it brought about the question of what they might find inside.

The Force whispered a warning, well that and the massive tearing sound from above, as the shelter was torn from its perch by the Dark Lord. Kor’ez called upon the Dark Side for a sudden burst of energy as he skipped back with the grace of a lifelong martial artist before flipping backwards at the last moment. The shelter smashed into the ground only a few feet in front of him just as he managed to dodge the debris.

Kor’ez shot an annoyed expression at Darth Malicia’s back. A little warning would have been nice. Shaking his head slightly Kor’ez glanced up towards the roof sensing the two fearful minds upon it but looking at the other Sith in attendance as well as his Mistress’ cultists were scouring the area.

The Twi’lek apprentice felt another more pressing obligation. Striding after Darth Malicia, feeling unusually protective, over the far more powerful Sith whom he’d only met not long ago. When Kor’ez saw the lightning rippled outwards from the door to encompass the Darth he felt a flash of alarm and began to sprint forward before suddenly it was gone and the doorway opened to grant her access.

Reaching the entrance himself he moved to be a few steps behind his Master. Pausing at the threshold the Twi’lek felt uneasy. This place was strong with the Dark Side, perhaps too strong. As much as the young Sith had learnt the power that could be drawn from it he also knew that there were dangers within its depths for those not properly prepared.

Glancing over at the other Sith, a near-human of some sort, who strode in almost fearlessly.

Kor’ez frowned slightly before stepping in himself, a lightsaber in each hand, although the blades were not ignited. If anything dangerous lurked within he planned to dispatch it before it bothered the Darth.

As the wailing screams of the three raiders being immolated waned off, the blonde Sith Lord crushed her hand up into a tight ball, before proceeding to rub her clenched fingers against the palm of her hand, snuffing what remained of the raider's essences and discarding them as if she was rubbing dirt off of her hand. Eyes watching as the charred bodies fell limp onto the floor, Ceryx swiftly snatched her attention away from the charred remains and instead focused back onto the entrance of the temple ruins. It Seemed that between the collective actions of the Sith, the raiders had either been disposed of or were now retreating - hopefully acknowledging their folly of setting foot on the Ancestral world, and if they had any sense they would remove themselves completely.

Her eyes narrowing as she caught the tail end of Malicia's interaction with the Door to the temple's entrance, the flash of blue arching electricity. The initial wash of concern dissipated as she watched her fellow Darth rise up from the ground as the doors started to grind open, Ceryx's lips pursing in thought as she mused on what she had witnessed. Much of her studies and research on the history and lore of Moraband and Korriban, had focused on the tombs being designed and engineered to thin out the weak and unworthy, ensuring that the knowledge and relics that remained within the tomb's would only fall into the hands of those who were worthy.

Taking a deep breath, the blonde Sith disengaged her lightsaber blade before following the rest of the Sith into the confines of the temple, her eyes narrowing for a moment as her vision adjusted to the dim light - wary that the lack of light and the likely abundance of traps. Ceryx held her free hand out to her side, before after a brief moment a floating orb of fire crackled into life, illuminating the area around Ceryx and any of the Sith who were close by.

Continuing deeper into the depths of the tomb, Ceryx found herself occasionally coming to a stop, as her eyes caught the sight of ancient Sith runes chiselled into the crimson hued stone. Often the inscriptions were typical recitals of the older variants of the Sith Code, whilst the wording was different to how it now stood, the meaning and sentiment was still the same - coupled with declarations of the interred Sith's strength and prowess that had been known at that time. There was one inscription that had caught the Sith Lord's eye. "Kitshi rokatsa tsioâ diu matura ri tinri tutsatsa askar ani midwan, dirtsarias j'us waria nindz tsosûtaiyi. os arsia"

Tread lightly those who lack the true strength behind their power, victory you will not find. only Ruin

Her curiosity was productive as she followed the glowing lines deeper into the tomb. She took in what she could see visually, noting the ornate reliefs along the walls as the brushed them with her finger tips. As she descended, the air felt was ice cold by the time she reached the bottom of the stairs, she almost wished she had something warmer from the chill that seemed to pierce her to the bone. The end of the hall opened into a larger corridor and the redhead paused, looking along the walls and ceiling before continuing forward, still cautious about what laid ahead. The geometric lines mazed along the walls until they reached three doors and Tiamat stopped, her gaze following the lines to the doors as it outlined the glyphs before opening to her to explore.

The girl's eyes narrowed as she approached slowly, looking through each door way to see statues, some in tact, one broken in another room, and then the third there was the tomb with a figure that stood next to it. She paused before entering, her senses looking to decipher who or what it was that rested at the foot of the sarcophagus. Inhaling deeply she readied herself for anything as she walked inside. Her presence would not go unnoticed as the figure spoke, promising her reward that laid behind the door of the phantom.

Tiamat's eyes narrowed in distrust, there was always a catch to anything that sounded that easy...and with a promise of a reward. Hell, there could be a 1000 year old bologna sandwich in there, she wasn't about to have a throw down unless she knew how it would benefit her, "How do you trust that I do not kill that creature, you, and take the treasure all for myself then?" she questioned the phantom, her gaze moved around the tomb to see what else was inside.

It seemed many were eager to explore the temple. Malicia did not step in right away herself, though when she did the sense of belonging grew and something immediately pulled on her senses. Was this the reason she felt a call across the galaxy? Was it here she was meant to be? The Darth couldn't say for sure. Either way, they needed to get to work.

"Darth Ceryx, I need you to lead some of my men throughout the temple. Clear out any pests and ensure my men mark and protect any locations with relics," she said, trusting the other Darth had the skills to do so and survive.

Her cold yellow eyes flicked back to her apprentice. "Kor'ez, you'll also be taking some men, but to get the power back on and see where we are with security systems. Make sure relic locations are marked as well," she added. She wasn't sure if her apprentice had the strength or fortitude to navigate through the temple safely, but she'd soon find out. The temple wasn't the only building to deal with, though she suspected the bases had a lot less challenges. Her cultists could deal with the bases on their own.

Finally, Malicia looked over to Renfry. "Stay with me, if you will," the Darth said, pausing before adding with a short nod, "I value your thoughts." The nightsister had unique knowledge on the arcane, and an ability to pick at unusual things to try to understand them. Maybe her skills wouldn't be put to use here, though it didn't matter. There was still a chance.

With that, whether Renfry choose to stay or not, Malicia continued forward. There was something in the centre of the temple calling to the small Darth and she was allowing herself to be pulled straight towards it. She wondered if she was walking towards the throne room, since the centre was typically where they were located in Sith Temples. If so, what exactly was there that was calling her?

Just as Tiamat finished her sentence all three doors closed behind her. The echo of their gears hissed throughout the chambers. "Because you do not need to leave this room to lure it into my temple," the spirit or creature answered plainly, a sense of amusement carrying across its distant voice.

The glyphs on each door faded, as did some of the connecting lines to them. Their absence left the chamber the Sith was standing in darker and quieter. There was no longer the soft hum of power throughout the tomb. The last bit of light came from the unnatural torches around the sarcophagus.

"And killing me will not open the doors. So if you wish for both your freedom and my treasure, call to it. Bring it here," it added, the amusement in its voice quickly fading into desperation.

Renfry was absorbed in some of the carvings in the stone of the temple as Malicia gave orders to those who had assembled. It all seemed like a sound plan, and Renfry didn't see any need to interject or make any suggestions.

When the Darth's attention fell on the Nightsister, she gave her attention in return. It was a nice feeling to have one's skills appreciated, and Renfry nodded in assent, pulling herself away from the carvings and heading in the same direction the Darth went.

She focused her mind on the temple, feeling the way that it ebbed and flowed. It wasn't entirely different from Dathomir, but it wasn't the same either. The world between flesh and spirit was thin here, and she couldn't be certain if that was a result of the planet itself, the darkness, the years of sorcery, or the death that stained it. There were many options, and even she wasn't certain it was possible to know precisely why things here felt so... pervaded by the other world.

Ignis had landed shortly after the rest of the exploratory Sith forces. He'd only just gotten the garbled transmission to aid in the reclamation effort of Moraband and he wasn't going to miss out on an opportunity like that. Not only for the clout it would bring, but the chance so step foot on a planet truly engulfed in the darkness of the galaxy. A place of true and utter power. Power that he could feel the instant he sit foot on the planet. It was borderline intoxicating, but Ignis steeled himself to the darkness around them. He knew much of nexuses of the Dark side and even the most experienced could fall victim to losing their sanity if they allowed the energies to flow too easily through them. He kept his force signature close to him, not fully trying to hide it but not broadcast his presence here either. So he kept his thoughts closed and his force signature close, not trying to hide completely but also not broadcasting his presence here, and made to follow the other Sith.

The skirmish with the raiders allowed Ignis to catch up with the gathered Sith properly, but he didn't even bother to offer aid as the fight, if you could call it that, was over by the time he approached. Ignis didn't know many of those gathered here, though he did recognize Kor'ez. He and acolyte had met on an assignment and Ignis had grown to appreciate the Twi'lek. The others he was happy to not know, as that meant they didn't know him. Ignis was always quick to remind himself that he couldn't fully trust any of the gathered lords. While none knew of his identity any of the more powerful lords here could have been responsible for the destruction of his life all those years ago, or at least taken part in it. So for the moment he'd simply follow unless addressed directly.

He'd witness the smaller of the Lords touch the door to the temple. Ignis would cup his chin as he observed and made no move to aid the Darth. It was an obvious test and one the Darth would either pass or fail. To her credit she passed and doors of the temple opened before them. Ignis would follow behind the others, still holding his aura close to himself as he walked. He would let his gaze wander over the walls and marveled at the writings and glyphs. Even if their were no relics to be found here, the potential knowledge to be gained of their history was overwhelming.

The shorter Lord...oh right Darth Malicia, the one who'd organized this venture, began to give out simple orders. Ignis felt that she was the one to follow here and approached the Darth as she and another made to move deeper into the temple. Whether she addressed him or not matter little, it was the current route Ignis wished to pursue and he was sure he could convince the Darth of his usefulness regardless.

Turning her attention away from the carvings and runes etched into the stone wall, directing her gaze and focus towards Darth Malicia as she started to issue out instructions to the other Sith within the party, Ceryx's eyes narrowed slightly whilst faintly nodding to the words, her attention moving towards the cultists that the platinum haired Darth had pointed out. The edge of her lip curling as she looked over the Children of Alkis that had been assigned to her. "Very well" Ceryx spoke as she returned her attention back to her fellow Darth, offering her a nod of acceptance of the assigned task, before raising her hand motioning for Malicia's aids to follow her, as she set of deeper into the temple, the light cast from the glowing orb of fire diminishing around the rest of the Sith as she advanced deeper into the tunnel.

Temple Upper Levels

Moving through the dark halls of the temple, the Sith Lord had lead the group assigned to her up to the upper most level - determining first priority would be to deal with what remained of the interlopers first, so to deal with the known threat before contending with any of the planet's native creatures that might have burrowed their way into the ancient temple. That was however not to say that the assentation to the upper levels they had not encountered any feral creatures, a few lone serpents who despite hissing and baring their fangs, backed down under the advancing gaze of the Sith Lord - swiftly slivering off into the holes that they had emerged from.

Brining the group to a halt, the Sith Lord turned her attention to a partially collapsed opening into what appeared to be a library or study of sorts. Tilting her head to the side slightly to get a better view of the interior through the crumbling remains of what was once a door frame, Ceryx pursed her lips in thought before turning her attention to the closest two who had been assigned to her command. "Guard this entrance with your lives" the Sith Lord spoke, her words short and simple - as was her instruction, as no sooner had the first sign of acknowledgement been shown the blonde Sith proceeded to continue deeper into the halls of the temples upper levels.

Drawing upon the Force the Sith Lord, reached out and honed in on where the life signs of the remaining interlopers were. They were perhaps a little further and a few turns in the corridor away from where she and the rest of her assigned subordinates were, a slight bitter sneer crossing her features as she waved off the small orb of burning fire, plunging the hallway back into its state of darkness. But as the Sith and those following in her wake drew closer to the two raiders, the hallway seemed to bend into a deeper darkness from what was its natural shadowy state - the influence and presence of the Sith Lord's aura in the Force darkening the surroundings into a dark void that was as thick and oppressive as the deathly chill that was now sweeping through the upper levels of the temple.

The growing sense of fear that resonated from the raiders only seemed to fuel the approaching air of dread, as even the light from the opened roof top access that the Raider's had fallen into dimmed. Rounding the corner on the last corridor, Ceryx watched as the two raiders cautiously backed themselves towards a wall, hands desperately reaching out for a surface to guide them. The last thing that could be heard was the sudden snap hiss of the Sith Lord's lightsaber, before panicked screams echoed throughout the temple's halls.
