The Fanged decloaked as it landed carefully near the meeting place. Once again, Cerberus was doing a job for free, although he considered this more like what he had done on Ziost; it was for the Order more than it was for a single Sith.

Since his old armour was long destroyed he was clad in his new one with his helmet on. Mostly pure black with little details. This was intended. While one could guess he was Sith, the plainer design did not scream it.

A plethora of jobs and careers made sense for the outfit he was wearing, and it provided more or less the same amount of protection his last set did. Maybe one thing that gave away that his work was at least physical was his form, which was not just maintained through combat. He had always carefully taken care of his body by daily workouts and monitoring his food intake, leaving him with a perfectly cut, statue-like, masculine figure.

Descending the ramp of his ship, the door behind him locked just as the astromech droid remaining on his ship beeped a "goodbye". Cerberus didn't turn around to give the same farewell. His feet brought him to the ground of the planet and towards where he was to meet Serene and the acolyte. He wouldn't waste much time exchanging words with either, considering the information they had on their target—Tund’s Light Side Sorcerer-Lord—was time sensitive.

Obviously they could still track him after if they missed him but it would be a waste.

The Sorcerer-Lord, acommpanied by a group of his most loyal followers, was visiting one of his friends. The friend's house was not as secure as other facilities that the Lord tended to dwell in. It was an opportune time to attack, unless there was something unexpected waiting for the trio, which was possible because intelligence from any source was not always flawless.

Chasdrym approached the meeting place piloting a speeder bike. He had avoided landing his ship to close, believing that it could attract undesired attention. Since he was going to work with two Champions, the Sephi wanted to cause a good impression.

Or at least don’t give them a reason to be punished.

He was already aware of the details of this mission. They were going to work together to kill the Light Side Sorcerer-Lord from Tund, allowing the followers of the Dark side to take over the planet completely. Chasdrym wondered if after this mission he would have time to meet one of the dark sorcerers and learn some of their magic knowledge.

When he arrived at the meeting place, Chasdrym saw that one of the Champions was already there. Since he was male, the Sephi concluded that this one must be Cerberus. Like the other Sith, the Acolyte was also dressed in an outfit that hid his appearance.

Champion Cerberus.” he greeted his superior, after getting out of his speeder bike. For the mission to proceed, they needed to wait for the arrival of Serene.

Some days you wake up and you know you're going to kill someone. Serene had woken up that day, or rather, left her daily meditation fully ready to kill before the cycle was done. The light side Sorcerer-Lord of Tund would die. That was an absolute certainty.

Serene left her automated ship, the Thoughtful Bogle and had the droid onboard lock it down until her return. The star yacht was relatively inconspicuous and like her grey colored armor would not immediately scream Sith. Her robes hid her weapons even as she mounted her swoop bike and headed for the rendezvous point.

Her helmet was best kept on since her face had been disfigured since Ziost. But the rest of her had continued to be as if not more lithe and powerful than before. Serene demanded perfection both from herself and her subordinates. It was not fair to hold everyone else to those standards but Cerberus usually came through, usually. The acolyte she would be working with she did not know a great deal about so this mission would be a first impression.

The witch seemed to be the last to arrive but she did not think much of it. Her vehicle slowed to a stop and she dismounted, flourishing unintentionally and just normally looking fabulous. "What's the plan?" She did not introduce herself seeing as she already knew Cerberus and already knew Chasdrym's name. The other Champion was also not one for pleasantries anyways. The red eyed half breed was presumably the first to arrive and if not he outranked Chasdrym so naturally he got to propose the first plan of attack.

The male champion only turned his head slightly when he heard the acolyte greet him. Regardless of what the acolyte might think, Cerberus did not answer him. This was not unusual for Cerberus, as he found greetings pointless unless it was in a formal setting, or he was going to get something out of it.

Quietly he waited for Serene. Before he heard her, he heard a speeder bike, turning his gaze to it until she stopped and got off. It seemed that she was starting to get more and more familiar with him, since she didn't bother with a greeting like the acolyte did. This somewhat comforted him. The less people that expected him to be friendly, the better. It made things more efficient, less about anything but the mission.

"Take these," Cerberus said plainly, his tone flat. The expression behind his helmet matching his tone: basically emotionless. He unclipped and tossed one datapad and one comlink each to Serene and Chasdrym.

"We are going after the Sorcerer-Lord while he visits a friend. The Socerer-Lord is skilled and not to be taken lightly, but the estate he's visiting isn't well secured, especially not the large garden in the back that notably sports a hedge maze. The Lord has seven followers with him, all with varying degrees of skills, however none near the Lord's strength. If we don't want an eight vs three fight, we may want to take out the followers first then the Lord who might not be easily surprised with an attack."

Cerberus pulled out his comlink, "The coms I provided you are connected to one another. Don't be reckless with them. Think carefully before sending a message. On the datapad is a map of the estate. My suggestion is to initially split up, scout different areas of the estate and report the locations of our targets if spotted. Do not take a target out without a warning, preferably not without permission. As soon as one is taken out, it starts a time limit. Someone could notice the person missing, putting everyone on guard, and if we aren't prepared to fully engage at that point it might make things harder than necessary. Thoughts?"

The lack of the Champion’s reaction to his greeting didn’t surprise Chasdrym. He was aware that there was Sith that wasn’t talkative, which wasn’t much different from how some Sephi operated. Parties in his homeworld could be more like a staring competition depending on who was invited.

The other member of the team arrived, Champion Serene, and she was also silent. Chasdrym would take note about it and would use that knowledge in the future when meeting them again. He had heard a lot about her and the experiments with sorcery. It was a shame that the woman was on some type of probation by Darth Arcanos or he would have asked her to be his Master.

Would she still be allowed to take an apprentice? Would she be interested in one? Did she take grades in consideration while selecting acolytes?

But the most important question, would her failures tarnish the little reputation that he had? He didn’t want the wrath of Lord Arcanos over him due to her. He would need to take all that in consideration before asking.

These decisions would need to wait because Cerberus explained their plan. Chasdrym remained in silence during it, knowing very well his place between these Champions. He would only talk when was ordered. After looking at the commlink and Datapad, the Sephi turned to look at the two Champions. “I think that it’s a good course of action.” he said with a neutral voice. “Maybe we should establish a meeting point after we finish with the followers? We meet here before going to face the Lord.

Serene displayed her expertise with the Force by catching the thrown datapad and comlink. Both items slowed and then hovered momentarily before safely dropping into the Champion's gloved grasp. She secured the comlink once Cerberus began explaining. Serene then checked the datapad for more details as the red eyed man continued to explain.

The sorceress did not want to engage in a three on eight fight if at all possible. Cerberus's plan seemed sensible enough to Serene. The Thustria Sephi gave his input which was phrased more as a question but was none-the-less also sensible. "Indeed." The Champion agreed simply, leaving that also up to Cerberus to decide specifically unless he wanted to leave it to either of them.

Serene was adept at covert reconnaissance, sabotage, espionage and more. She also knew that excessive use of the Force, especially the Dark Side, would likely attract attention from a light sided sorcerer-lord not to mention one of their seven friends. "We should minimize our use of the Bogan as well unless absolutely necessary, lest we put them on alert." Aside from that she had no other input before they moved on the house.

Cerberus listened to both Chasdrym's and Serene's replies quietly. Serene had a point about the use of the Dark Side near Light Side users, which he replied to with simply nodding to the suggestion.

After it seemed like Serene left it up to him to make a call about the meeting place, so he went on, "We can," he said at first with his plain, emotionless tone, addressing Chasdrym's suggestion. "But keep in mind that there is no guarantee that all of us will go unspotted while we scout, or that once we engage any of the targets that we will have time to retreat and meet at an assigned location; at any point in time we could catch the attention of the Lord and be forced to engage him. Communication and the ability to quickly adapt will be key here."

With this he grabbed a third datapad from his belt, pulling up the map. "If everything goes to plan, we can meet here," his armour-clad pointer finger pressed down on a small field near the house on the map, "It's less travel time than where we are now."

"Serene,"
he added, "Scout the left side of the house, the front and side," the halfbreed said plainly, uncaring if the witch objected to his command. She could object and make a scene if she wanted, but he felt it would be a waste of time and that she knew and trusted him enough to make calls on jobs like this, "Chasdrym, scout the right side of the house, the front and side."

"I'll take the entire back and garden,"
he said. This was because he had night vision on his helmet, which he reached up and turned on after he spoke with a tap of his pointer finger. It was getting darker out and him scouting the less lit areas made the most sense in his opinon, even if it was more ground to cover.

"As a reminder, all the targets will be in blue and gray robes." This was something his team should already know. Of course he still chose to mention it to be sure.

If no one made a scene and everyone agreed, he’d wave his arm in a command to move out to their assigned scouting areas. Part of him suspected that more than one of the followers would be in the garden, especially if they were relaxing and/or drinking, which made extra sense to him considering there was a faint sound of music coming from the house.

Chasdrym nodded in agreement while he listened to the two Champions, both had logic in their words. Serene was correct in requesting them to be careful while using the Bendu, it took a moment for him to understand that she meant the Dark Side. Since they were going to face a powerful Light Side sorcerer, they could be detected when using that.

He would remember that while going after the supporters. Thankfully he brought some of the toxins that he uses during missions. They could be useful. There was a dagger too, which could also help.

Cerberus was also correct. There was the possibility that they didn't have time to regroup after dealing with their targets. Chasdrym would be even more careful to allow the group to have the chance of meeting before going to face the Lord. He would also maintain contact with the Champions through the comm link.

After Cerberus pointed out the areas that they should scout, Chasdrym was prepared for this mission. He would cover the right side of the house and kill the targets that he could find there. For that, the Sephi would use his stealth.

Normally Serene had an extensive number of techniques and powers at her disposal that would dazzle the mind and boggle the imagination. However with there being light sided force sensitives on the opposing side she was relatively limited. The Champion would, as always, remain on guard.

When Cerberus decided on a post-mission redevouz location she gave a nod of her helmeted head. "Agreed." The sorceress had no issue with what the warrior said.

A similar singular response came from Serene when Cerberus assigned her to one post. "Understood." Whatever his reasoning he did not share it and she did not argue.

She set up the comlink to relay into her helmet so she could speak with the other two hands free and without risk of anyone outside of the helmet overhearing. In one hand she carried a vibro-repulsor blade which was laced with a parlyzing poison. The witch refrained on activating the repulsor aspect of the weapon since it gave off a very faint noise. The Champion was ready to move on the left side of the house.

With everything in order, Cerberus did the same as Serene so any messages stayed private; attaching his com to his helmet, which he had designed it for. The acolyte's com already had it's volume turned down, but there was the option to turn on the voice-to-text auto translate, so text popped up instead of voices crackling over the com. Either way, the acolyte needed make sure their voices didn't give away his position too. Cerberus believed an acolyte should be able to, at least, do that without needing their hand held.

The com waves remained silent while he approached. Every movement the halfbreed made was from both his training since childhood and muscle memory at this point, while at the same time using the environment to obscure him. He gave a wide berth from the actual house in order to quietly enter the backyard from a distance.

Each step made the sound of music louder to his ears, muffled only slightly by bugs cricketing and the night's crisp breeze, wisping around corners and fluttering the grass, leaves, tree branches and more. All of the sounds were helpful with the approach, along with his void-black outfit that covered him head-to-toe. He kept at a distance to scan what he could see in the dark with his crimson eyes peering through his helmet's night vision.

A patio attached to the back of the house sat mostly empty, with the exception of various gardening objects, some empty cans and other items Cerberus could not quite make out from the distance. In the center of it, steps down to a concrete path. The concrete path led to a dimly-lit table of... three. Two men, one woman. All wearing robes and chattering amongst each other, but none were the Lord.

Cerberus' eyes narrowed slightly while he double-checked and confirmed their identities. Having eyes on three of their targets was nice, but not knowing where the Lord was yet wasn't the greatest. There was also the fact that there were three of them and one of him, although he was already coming up with ideas of how to deal with it. .

"I have eyes on three of the followers. They're at a table in the backyard, around 30m from the backdoor, " he said over the com quietly. His partners only needed minimal information right now, and should be busy with their own scouting.

Like the Champions, Chasdrym attached the com link to his helmet. Since his voice was muffled by the helmet, his partners would be able to understand him better this way. The same couldn’t be said about their targets. Hopefully, this entire operation would happen silently.

With the plan settled, the three Sith parted ways. Each of them walked toward the points that they had agreed upon, with Chasdrym going to the right side of the house. The Sephi used the shadows to cover his approach, moving between bushes and behind tree trunks just in case there was someone looking in this direction.

His approach was detained for a moment due to a wall. It was solved with the presence of a large tree near it. Chasdrym would only need to climb and use one of its more resistant branches to jump to the other side. With the help of the Force to make the process easier, he did exactly that.

Once reaching the top of the tree, Chasdrym gave a look at the other side of the wall before jumping. There was the house and several bushes, but no one that could see him was around. Then, the Sephi jumped to the other side and hid among the plants.

He walked around the perimeter of the house, hiding among the plants and being careful to not step in branches. Suddenly, Chasdrym heard the sound of rushed voices. He slowly approached them. Using a large bush for cover, the Sephi saw two men dressed in blue robes. They were talking with each other, while seated on a stone bench. They seemed to be distracted.

I saw two of them in front of me. They seem to be distracted. They are wearing blue robes and seated on a stone bench some 20m in front of me.” Chasdrym told the others through the com link. “I think that I can move around among the bushes and strike from behind.” he didn't act, though. The Sephi would wait to see if the Champions had any objection.
