In reply to the Hutts, it is necessary to make clear the upcoming situations for ooc notice.

please take note that while most of theses are being or are already planned and assigned a command, deployment will come pending certain arrangements between FL, and Staff that need to be taken care of first.

Theater 1: Assault on Taanab Pt. 2 – Electric Dance Boogaloo

Mission Objectives: Deploy on Taanab to subdue local defenses and capture the planet in the name of the Empire.

Tanaab was a shocking defeat in orbit, thankfully the distance the fighting allowed for time to get advanced warning out to the population, and local forces. Both Marines, Jedi and Republic military will have to dig in for this one as support will take longer to get inplace.

Recent issues between the Hutts and Bogan can keep more from showing up for the time being. While it is obvious the Hutts will hold a strong grasp on aerial abilities, holding any defense turret stations or grids are vital. Ground forces and Walker support is ready and awaiting engagement.

Tanaab must NOT fall into Hutt hands it's importance to future operations is unmistakeable, as is assuring no others fall under the brutal hands of Hutt oppression

Asymmetric warfare is cleared should the fighting become too pitched.

High Generals Fenix, ( xeno) and Alenko ( Matt) (-SOLAG) will be commanding this effort to make sure this key location does not fall.

Theater 2: Battle for Bilbringi
Historical Information: Nearby the freshly-captured Dorin, Bilbringi (and more specifically Bilbringi VII) is home to the invaluable Bilbringi Shipyards- a massive building ground for the Republic Navy.

While Dorin was situation that did not directly involve the republic, it gave clear indications of the Hutts intent to push matters in this region. While forces at the gate worlds such as Haven have been bolstered, many have been directed to Bilbringi. Reports indicate a Hutt presence nearby, and it's suspected it is largely consisted of craft involved in Dorin, which thankfully Solag was able to document much. While in the Past these shipyards have fueled the the Republic Navy with it's majority of craft.

Now However most of the new Navy has been produced elsewhere by other contractors such as JE, Costa, Hanhe-Kaedar, and others. None the less, Bilbringi ship yards are a vital repair dock for this sector, and checkpoint.
more importantly It sits mere hours from Coruscant.

Hutts Managed to bypass our fortress posts at Rhondi, and Haven, and have entered the corridor of major metropolitan planetary systems. This offers us a heafty hand in Navel forces ready at a moments notice.

currently many of the recently decommissioned vessels from the Recent rebuild are here for refurbishing and other procedures. It is imperative these do not fall into Hutt hands, Special orders will come to those assigned this front.

Ground ( or rather station defense) Falls into the Hands of the Republic Marine corps ( Mars) and several Jedi graciously assigned to assist.

Orbital battles: TBA- waiting on clarity on a few matters.

Liberation of Mannan

Due to the severity of several other situations, for now mannan is being scrubbed. Further talks have detailed that Hutt forces at Mannan are virtually none, and the situation there is more administrative/financial .

operations here will more likely be taken up as " missions"

Just a quick FYI. More info and full staffing will start for these once a few details are hammered out between FL's and Staff, at which point I'll let out more details and the commanders in each operation to contact for full disclosure on procedure and and the likes

Just a quick note- Maanan isn't held openly by the Empire. Instead, the Empire purchased the kolto facilities five years ago and effectively run the planet under Republic rule.

What this means is that the Empire has no space presence. They've got a heavily dug in ground presence with troops and agents living and working in the cities/plants, with a few naval vessels and ground vessels (small enough to navigate the selkath cities). It'll be an entirely ground battle unless you want to bombard the cities.

Lots of Selkath won't be happy about the Republic coming in, since according to the story the Hutts saved kolto manufacturing with their generous and well-timed buy outs. There will be natives fighting for both sides.

Edit: Not to mention, they'd have been bought through ghost corporations, so Tusa and Jorv aren't signing the paychecks.

That's even better. All the more interesting.

Follow the money and you'll always find the source eventually. :p

If we want interesting we should make shark-riders. Mounted battles ftw.

Do it. I'm not even kidding, you and Adena should make up something like that and have it used.

I want to officially announce that Santoro and I WILL include a Firaxa Shark battle.. will add more in a moment.

A secondary development has occurred. Factions of Silkath native to Mannan, and loyal to the Republic have sent word of a major pump station several meters under the surface in a shallow portion of a canyon ledge near the rift point, being mindful of Mannan ecology, they have decided to forego technology equipment and utilise Firaxa Sharks.
" this battle is between " natives" and thus NPC and separate from other ground assaults and open for sign up"

Can any of your characters breathe under water?

I'm pretty sure they make devices for breathing underwater in Star Wars. Might be a bit of an annoyance, but it can be done.

Yeah, per Malon, I think that thing that Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon used on Naboo converted water into oxygen or something like that. Doesn't seem too difficult by Star Wars standards so they'd probably be around now.

The thing that would be needed would be suits that would make you much slower but would protect you from the pressure of the ocean.

I think were leaning natives more or less, with possibility of a few acceptations, given some selkath are loyal to the Hutts thanks to some shady buisness deals, and others are still wanting the Republic back, so you have a double sided battle

Will jedi be allowed in on this? Because my guy Owyn is a 'beastmaster' type knight, and he could definitely be useful in a mounted battle like this.

He's like the little dude from Captain Planet with the Heart power, except way more badass and not sucky like that guy was.

I was excited before the sharks. That just added to it lol.

And because this fight isn't really about territory, I really hope everyone can just take themselves a little less seriously in this battle and just have fun.
