Listehol

Crouched down close to the edge of the forest, Vyr used the magnification setting on his visor to observe the country estate. It was night time, and he was concealed in the darkness.

The target was the Duke of Listehol. Vyr had been approached by an intermediary, representing someone called Baron Wolbrau. The Baron had been imprisoned and was seeking revenge on the Duke, who he held as being responsible. Not that Vyr cared. As long as the credits were right.

He was wearing his armour and had chosen to carry his usual loadout, with the exception of his carbine which he had opted not to take with him. He had also brought a couple of sonic grenades, which he had attached to his belt.

Having spent some time studying the Duke’s routine, he believed that striking here, at the Duke’s country estate, was best.

Switching off the magnification setting on his visor, he stood up and began to approach the grounds of the estate.

Vyr would suddenly find his path blocked by another figure in Mandalorian armor. Although the former foundling had long since abandoned his warrior heritage, he couldn't deny the armor was functional enough to take on his dangerous missions. And this certainly qualified.

The Lepi in the yellow armor was flanked by two Vodran thugs, each holding their own blaster rifles.

"Well, well well - another Mandalorian. Judging by that blaster, I'm guessing you're not some secret lover of the Duke's. Which means you must have another reason for sneaking around." Kyp said. He didn't shoot just yet. Although the Cartel had sent him to take out the Duke for unresolved gambling debts, he knew the Duke had a long list of enemies. It was possible that this Mando was also an agent of the Cartel. The Hutts did sometimes have an irritating habit of double-dipping when it came to sending assassins after a target. They claimed it was forgetfulness but Kyp had a sneaking suspicion that the move was made in the hopes each agent would kill the other, ensuring the target would die and the Hutts wouldn't have to pay anyone.
