Janus Of Clan Rook​

History​

Born to a family of farmers on a poor world. Janus spent much of his early life learning to take care of the farm that he viewed as the whole world. But like all good stories this one takes a expected dark turn, slavers came for a world with little defenses and he was taken along with his family to the dark route of slavery. Janus grew up in this new harsh reality where no one showed their true face, and kindness was a myth that might have once been real but now its just a dream. The only reason he even can get out wasn't by his own power but rather a dispute between masters. The fighting between slave masters gave Janus and a few others a chance to escape. So but he wouldn't have made it far if not for what would later become his family. A small group of Mandalorians from Clan Rook on world though Janus would not know their reason he was picked up by them.

This began his new journey into becoming what his saviors wished for him. A body that could defend himself, and a mind committed to a legacy of tradition and honor. It was a easy bargain and one that Janus was happy to take, it gave him more then just freedom but a new road of possibilities. Doing work as a bounty hunter for a time, Janus in his travels would eventually run into a Sector Ranger. Impressed with the skills the female Twi'lek had he joined hoping to better combat the evil he faced in his early years and to keep to the honor and traditions that his clan gave him.

Personality​

Janus is a bold, quiet man, taking action rather then talking if it looks like it would result in a more speedy resolution. As Janus and patience have a uneasy relationship. He finds that those that wait around debating or trying to talk their ways out of things usually were without the heart for action. Thanks to his upbringing Janus hates being in crowded areas, or talking with a lot of people. Many would call him a heartless man, yet in truth he just doesn't like speaking a whole lot. Never saying the small things that to him should be already a given. He isn't one to let anyone to close to his heart since he lost many of his old friends to the harsh life of slavery.

Rakim Hsin​

History​

The man that is known as Rakim wasn't born evil, but one can be sure that if any good is left in him, that it is sealed off and forgotten somewhere in his heart. He was born in a community where violence solved everything and life naturally adopted around that. Piracy was considered fair work, and Rakim in his early life went through many different crews. Some cause they disband after a death of the captain, others were due to losing a fight and Rakim joined the other side, others still Rakim left after thinking the crew was too unstable. Either way his instinct never led him down the wrong road maybe that should have been his first clue to his greater destiny.

Destiny came to him though, as one day his crew raided the wrong ship, with a relic of a ancient dark power. The pull of the item caused him to leave the crew to keep the treasure for himself. It was a quiet obsession that promised me much and required much sacrifices to himself and those around him. Many of which were usually unwilling. His activities didn't go unseen, eventually people in cloaks with powers far greater then his own came to him. Explaining to him the power that awaited him with the right training. Rakim at first thought he could prove his superiority but after soundly getting taught a lesson he joined the cult that called themselves the Sith Eternals. After spending some time among their numbers, Rakim realized that there is wisdom in joining them. Now he counts himself among their numbers though his faith isn't to the ancient dead Sith but the future power that could be gained.

Present​

As a pirate turned dark sider, Rakim interest are squarely in his own independence and the power to sustain it. Learning less the more ritualistic powers of the Sith and focusing more on the martial and material. Hoping to return to his life as a pirate to create his power base there. Hoping to get even with those that wrong him in his old life and gain power with the criminal underworld seeing it as the true power of the galaxy.

Rakim has a IFST-21 Light Freighter that contains most of his possessions. On his person he could be seen wearing a blaster vest under some baggy dark clothes. With a black cloak covering most of his body now, with his lightsaber hidden in his clothes to prevent anyone from noticing it.

Janus of Clan Rook Armor

It is a personal armor created by Janus during his time with his clan. Clan Rook has specific designs for how they wish to create their armor. Nothing that will be too bulky and focused more on functionality then being a tank.

Janus has the usual Mandalorian Helmet design, with the armor protecting the chest, and upper stomach. In the back there is a back plate to cover the upper part of his chest and attachments to allow for a Jetpack. The forearm gauntlets equipped to use the tools built into the armor. The design is built so that other functions could replace those already attached, as Janus believes that the best way to be prepared is to be able to change his armor for the mission at hand.

INTENT

To create armor that Janus will wear throughout the day. An can be modified to suit the needs of the missions he is on.

Functions​

Function 1: Jetpack

• Jet packs are back mounted units used by elite troops increase their mobility on the battlefield. The jet pack's maximum speed is 50 kph and it carries fuel for up to five minutes of continuous flight (flight mode), but can also be fired in short bursts triggered by jumping (combat mode). The wearer can control the system to switch between modes and/or disengage it from their armor via wrist controls. These packs are cumbersome, adding an additional 8kg for the average human (larger individuals will have heavier jet packs to support their weight). While the fuel is stable enough not to explode, direct hits from weapons can trigger the system inadvertently, after which it is rendered useless.

Function 2: Computer Spike What Function?

• Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.

Function 3: Vision Modes What Function?

• This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light OR thermal vision modes.

Function 4: Bola Launcher What Function? (4 Functions for Medium or Light Armor only)

• The gauntlet bola Launcher is a useful addition to a bounty hunters arsenal. Single shot, takes several seconds to reload, and has a max range of 25 meters. A successful hit tangles a foe in a strong durasteel wire to slow down or even capture the target.

Function 5: Repulsor What Function? (5 Functions for Light Armor only)

• Originally designed to counter combat with force sensitives, this tool is able to project a strong repulsor field replicating a Force push. It projects up 10 meters and its limited power cell only allows for 3 uses before it needed changing. The repulsor has significant recoil and the wielder must carefully brace themselves before use- both to ensure accuracy and to prevent the user from being knocked over themselves or having their arm torn from its socket.
