I joined the community about a year ago, and I became inactive within about a month. Well, I'm back! And I have learned much in my travels, so I feel able to RP effectively once more.

Have you considered what faction you want to join? I would personally recommend Republic if you're not sure, as it allows many possibilities and needs members. But if you have something else in mind, go for it!

I did the EXACT same thing. Literally, I was up for a few months then down for about a year.

And as long as were shamelessly shouting out factions, why not go Sith?

I think that I'll have my first character be neutral for awhile, and wait to see what faction I get drawn into. Thanks for the warm welcome and recommendations though.:)
