Kerkoidia was a planet with a long and tumultuous story. It once was a proud member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars and the headquarters of the Retail Caucus. With the presence of this important conglomerate of hundreds of corporations, the planet was relatively wealthy.

Unfortunately, like many other Corporations that were aligned with the Confederacy, the Caucus was suppressed by the Galactic Empire. After the Rebellion defeated them, the planet was freed and this conglomerate of corporations was able to be reorganized. It even re-established their droid defense force.

Due to all these factors, Kerkoidia was a good candidate to join the Sith. The resources of the Caucus would be very good for the Empire’s economy and military. With that in mind, Caerllion had planned to meet with some pro-Sith individuals to discuss the possibility of them formally declaring their support.

For this mission, the Annfyn was going to have the help of Lucas, a fellow Acolyte. Caerllion was awaiting his arrival in a cantina, where the two had agreed to meet to discuss their plan of action. Nursing a glass of whiskey in his hands, he wondered if the Mirialan would end being late.

Lucas had been dispatched to Kerkodia, a planet not dissimilar to his home world of Vandyne. It was an urban world that focused on trade, commerce, and trade with clearly divided castes and classes that created socio-economic layers to the concrete jungle. Lucas was able to quickly identify those who were wealthy and soft as the flew in their expensive hover cars or walked surrounded by a shield of guards, they disgusted him. Unbeknownst to these oblivious magnates, they were being watched from alleyways by cunning pack hunters. The gangs and criminal elements leered at them, carefully selecting targets that wouldn’t be missed if they went missing. Just like on Vandyne, Kerkodia had a ruthless social food chain and the moment your guard dropped, you’d end up with your guts on the ground, all over whatever valuables you had in your pockets.

But Lucas hadn’t come here to watch the local wildlife, instead he had been sent to aid a senior Acolyte on a mission. Kerkodia had been selected to join the Empire and it was their duty to ensure that mission was accomplished. He had skimmed through the briefing on the way to the planet something about diplomatic meetings with Imperial sympathizers, gathering support in the population, before finally aiding in some coup. In all honestly, the coup was the only thing that really fell into Lucas’ skillset, the rest was…boring in his eyes. He ultimately decided that he had been sent to act as intimidating muscle to the silver-tongue of whoever he worked with.

Because of that, Lucas had dressed to fit that role. He opted to wear his Acolyte Armor with his WESTAR Heavy Blaster pistol holstered on one hip, his lightsaber on the other, but he had left his chainsword back in his room on Taris. Kerkodia was a “civilized world” where that type of weaponry was strictly illegal. At least to be caught with one was and since Lucas was representing the Sith in this mission, he decided it was best to leave it at home. It’s not like he needed the weapon to be intimidating, his stature and muscle mass did that relatively easily for him and if anyone tested him, his actions would reinforce his image.

Eventually Lucas would come to the cantina where he was to meet the other Acolyte, it took him a moment for his eyes to adjust from the glaring neon signage and advertisements outside to the more shadow-y interior of the bar. Once his vision had grown accustomed to the dimness, Lucas gazed around the establishment until he found a familiar face. Apparently, the other Acolyte was Caerllion, the posh Annwfyn princeling that he had met on Dromund Kaas. Lucas smirked at this revelation, while the mission might be boring for him, gazing at his handsome partner wouldn’t be. Lucas strode confidently towards the bar and took a seat next to Caer, he smirked at the man before waving a bartender down.

A triple of whatever he’s having.” Lucas said before he gave the woman a charming smile. “Caerllion right?” He asked as he turned his attention to the Annwfyn. “Sorry I’m a little late man, I went on a safari to understand the local food chain a bit better.” He teased. “How’ve you been since Kaas?” He asked as a wry smirk appeared on his lips.

When he heard Lucas’ voice, Caerllion immediately turned to look at the other Acolyte. The Annfyn raised an eyebrow when he saw that the Mirialan was wearing armor. He thought that it was a bit excessive for the other to be using it while they were only going to talk.

Now he was grateful for having chosen for this meeting a place that was famous for being a heaven for mercenaries. Lucas’ armor wasn’t going to attract attention, being only another one in the cantina. Besides that, with the size and body type that the Mirialan had he could easily pass a mercenary.

The presence of the armor started to make sense when the Mirialan said that he had been on a “safari” to learn about the “food chain”. The Annfyn wasn’t naïve, he was very aware of what the other meant with this comment. “Yes, I’m Caerllion. I believe that you are Lucas, right?” he offered a hand for the other Acolyte to shake.

I hope that your exploration had been informative and that you didn’t kill any animal, we don’t want problems with the guards now.” they can’t attract attention. It could jeopardize their business there.

I have been fine, mostly studying about the Force and doing jobs like this one.” Caerllion gave a long look at Lucas’ body. “You seem to be doing well. I think that you are bigger than our last mission in Kaas.” the Annfyn could be taller, but the Mirialan was far more muscled. It was a bit impressive. “Maybe you could tell me your secret. To have big muscles to match my gorgeous face, like you have.” he winked playfully at the Mirialan.

"Anyway, I think that we need to start working. We have a meeting with two important figures of Kerkoidia, our plan is to convince them of bringing the planet into the Sith Empire." he explained, only making a brief pause when the bartender brought Lucas' drink. Once she went away, the Annfyn continued. "I'll take care of the diplomatic talk, while you is the strenght. You never know when these things can go to shit." he still remember that mission in Collumex. The diplomatic talks and shadow take over ended in a Hutt invasion. "Any question?"
