RIGHT OF THE FIRSTBORN

Decades ago, @Renfry taught @Emryc Thorne in the ways of Nightsister magick, a rare and special glimpse into the world of the Nightsisters bestowed only to those who are among the trusted. When Renfry became pregnant with their child and the two of them drifted apart, Renfry thought their daughter was all but forgotten by her father.

It was only twenty-one years later, when Arla was a full member of the Sith Order and a skilled Nightsister that Darth Raze took his first step back into Arla's life and showed that in all those years, he had still thought of her. An item that took twent-one years to craft, he gave to her this amulet, the Right of the Firstborn, as both puzzle and test. With no explanation of what it did or what significance it held, she went to work unlocking its secrets.

The pendant is externally simple: silver set around a portion of kyber crystal, but what the eyes don't tell, the senses betray. The pendant forms a tether between its wearer and Darth Raze, allowing the wearer to channel Raze's power into themselves for a brief time.

It should be noted, however, that the pendant is not able to be used by just anyone. At its core, the pendant can only be used by someone who has attuned themselves to it, and this is a feat that can only be accomplished by touching one's own blood - the blood of Lord Raze - to the pendant. In other words, the pendant can only be used by those with blood relationship to the Dark Lord.

The pendant is not something that can be used whimsically, however. The channel can only be opened for approximately ten seconds, and then requires nearly a week before it can be used again. It is a tool for only the most dire of circumstances, which is something that young Nightsister has come to understand.

Intent
This was an artifact created by @Darth Raze and given to @Arla at this meeting. This lore article is to flesh out and detail what was described in that thread. As the article tells, it has not only great sentimental value, but is an extremely powerful artifact for its wielder and certainly warranted a write-up. Idea credit goes fully to @Sreeya whose character created this.

I think overall the idea seems good, my only reservation being that it is somewhat vague in what it can actually do. But I think that listing out explicitly things it can do would detract from the overall article and artifact, so I will just say that I'll keep an eye on it if it's ever used in a PvP but otherwise -

Approved.
