Personality Biography Skills

• 
  All in all, River is a pretty easy going person. Although sometimes she can come across as shy - especially to those who she hasn't met before - that illusion quickly changes when River becomes comfortable around people.
  
  She loves to listen to other people talk about their passions, finding great interest in things she has never experienced before.
  
  In the same vein, River is always first in line to try something new, whether it's a food, an experience, or anything else. Bonus points if it's just a liiiitle dangerous.
  
  More than anything else, River always tries to do what she thinks is the right thing. She'll help people that need to be helped, even if they might not deserve it.
  
  Always willing to see the good in people, River sometimes can get taken advantage of but she doesn't let that jade her.
  
  She also really, really likes animals. Especially her two pets, a cat named Cosmo and a miniature porg named Bip.

  River was born to middle class parents on Corellia. Her mom was a teacher and her dad ran a small Echani dojo that mostly taught children.
  
  Until the age of about ten, River went to school and hung out with her friends like any other kid. It wasn't until just after her birthday that her force abilities started to manifest, much to the surprise of her parents.
  
  Despite this surprise, they were very supportive of River and talked to her about what this new found ability meant, and gave her the choice on leaving her home and joining the Jedi Order - her parents having known a Jedi, one of her mom's old friends from childhood.
  
  Although initially unsure, eventually River decided to go to the Jedi. She wanted to understand her abilities as much as she could, and more importantly, all River really wanted to do with her life was help people.
  
  Knowing the Jedi were beacons of hope to many people in the galaxy, she thought it only right to give it her best shot.
  
• • Artist: River has enjoyed creating art ever since she was a small child. Whether it's full blown paintings or just goofy little doodles, River enjoys all manner of expressing creativity. She even does commissions by request, showing off most of her art on her Spinstagram @rivraffrove
  
  
  • Combat: Growing up as an Echani, River has trained in Echani fighting since she was a little kid. Her dad having owned a small dojo, River always trained very hard and generally excelled, much to her dad's pride. Her training and natural athleticism has helped her also be fairly adept with a lightsaber, though she doesn't really prefer using one. She has never and will never shoot a blaster.
  
  
  • The Force: River has always had a somewhat easy time when it came to learning and applying usage in the Force. She is fully trained and capable of doing any of the basic force techniques as well as utilizing it while fighting with a lightsaber, her fighting style similar to the Form VI utilized by Jedi during the Clone Wars.
