FORCE SENSITIVE: Has and is trained with his force sensitivity.
APPEARANCE:
His dark blue skin and even darker blue hair compliment his narrow red eyes. His hair is rather short and he makes a habit to keep it tidy and tight to the back of his head. His is rather skinny, but agile. He is impressively tall and has fair face structure, with his nose being dominant, pointing out and a bit downwards.
ATTRIBUTES:
His agility, wisdom and general knowledge are his main qualities. He isn’t very physically strong and lacks in all fields of human interaction.
PERSONALITY:
To others he may seem like a loner, as he spends most his time studying, meditating or training. The truth is he is a very focused man, who likes to study and is curious about the unknown parts of the galaxy, as well as a perfectionist and a spiritual man. He is quite serious, often missing jokes or misreading sarcasm. He doesn’t excel at making friends or being nice in general (although he is very polite).
BIOGRAPHY:
Roalik was born to the Novarish (Core name) family, one of the great families of the Chiss race. He had never met his mother, and remembers almost nothing of his father or siblings. When once he asked about his mom, his father struck him, telling him never to speak of her again.
As a child, he possessed what his people called ‘the sight’ – force sensitivity akin to the ability to predict the future. As such, he was quickly drafted to the familial fleet as a navigator to spot and prepare for incoming attacks before they happened. Spending most of his childhood away from his immediate family, and in presence of soldiers made him a strict and unemotional man. As he grew older, around the age of 10, he lost his sight (As happens with force sensitive Chiss children) but maintained other force related abilities such as force sensitivity, telekinesis, mind tricks and telepathy (known by the Chiss as ‘second sight’).
Due to being the only child who kept his force powers as he grew, he was still being used by his family’s fleet. Under their command, he had killed countless criminals and innocents, often not even knowing the reason.
At the age of 13 he met a Jedi for the first time. Lorden Covalin was a Jedi Knight (Female, Human) whom he met on Cato Neimoidia while he was hunting for a certain fugitive of the fleet. She encountered Roalik when he was facing the fugitive and suggested to let him live, and talked to him about the value of life. Roalik felt sorrow taking over him, as for the first time in his life he was told killing was wrong. Lorden suggested him to join the Jedi Order and he hastily agreed, leaving his old ‘family’ behind.
In the first years of training he hated the usage of lightsabers but made sure to learn everything he could. He took an almost pacifistic approach, in vast contrast to the person he was before. As he kept learning, he understood the value of power and force, even of violence as a means to protect others. He got his green lightsaber, and trained in various force abilities, and continued to serve under the Order, denouncing his family and the military of the Chiss. He made sure to search and learn as much as he could about the order and their history, as well as trying to pick up clues where he can about the identity of his mother.
SKILLS:
Learning to use the traditional fighting styles, Roalik dedicated himself to the Trakata stance, which he favored because it allowed him to fight less with a weapon and more using the force. He learned it from the ancient texts. His abilities include mental manipulation, telekinesis, telepathy, sound mimicry, dull senses and force speed. He is most adapt at using telepathy and mental manipulation, but is doing quite fine with the other abilities.
