Roland walked down the halls of the station. The planet and the system's asteroid field had a fair amount of activity. But that was no surprise, given that the mining industry here provided ore for over half the sector. There were a few space stations in the system as well as over Roxuli that could have given Indyana a scan but the closest one that was open to the public had been the station they were aboard now.

The Lieutenant carried a cup of coffee from one of the vending machines and offered it to the woman. "Can't promise it will taste good. How are you feeling?" Originally the Mandalorian walked with Indy into the medcenter, not carrying her this time. Some of the staff and occupants of the station had given them looks. Looking around the small medcenter again he could see an occasional glance from the staff though Roland couldn't really tell if the FX droid was watching them or not.

Roland's worries had eased a bit en route from Jedha but didn't disappear until a few minutes ago when it became clear there wasn't going to be any lasting problems and Indy would be alright. The carbon scoring where the B1 battle droid had struck his chest plate was still clearly visible. Some of the sand from the desert had fallen off but plenty of it still clung to parts of his attire. That stuff gets everywhere He thought to himself.

She could almost smell the caf before she could see the Mando, and oh boy was she already bored and ready to leave. The only problem was they forbid her from leaving at all; a huge blow for the Jedi, who was used to going until she fell apart, and then maybe a few steps more. A few broken ribs, a hairline fracture along her right ulna, but otherwise the medic on rounds didn't seem to believe she had survived so minimally hindered from such a height.

But a day without caf was practically torture, even the crappy stuff.

She nodded once in appreciation, giving him a wide smile.
"I think even mud water from Dagobah would be better than the stuff they force-feed here," she commented easily, holding the cup for a little while before responding. It still hurt to talk, but less so considering how tightly she was bandaged up. Eyeing him in contemplation, she took a sip of the coffee, then made a slight face.

It was worse than she thought, but caf was caf. She would bolt it down like it was ambrosia, she was that desperate.

"Been better," she replied honestly, watching him as he shifted around. "But I should be asking you the same thing; you haven't sat down since they started patching me up."

A partial truth; he didn't seem the type to relax, but they had a little time. Who knew, perhaps he could help her bust out of here and get back to Jedha, recon and get what they came for. Force knew she was keen to go, if they weren't watching like hawks. A dim memory of her saying to something to him on Jedha just before they got here flitted to mind, but she dismissed it. At least... she hoped she didn't hit on him or anything.

That would be awkward.

"What's a day-goo-buh?" He tilted his helmet to the side after she accepted the caf. The man had never heard of the planet before but considering how large the galaxy was, there was always creatures and things to learn about. It was no surprise why some people stayed on a single planet or even in a single city their entire lives. Life was short and there was so much to do regardless of where he went.

A gloved thumb rubbed the mark on his chestplate. It had been a pretty solid hit which left a mark. Foolishly he pressed a bit harder and winced, still feeling the soreness underneath. The Mandalorian had applied some bacta patches on his ship but it would probably be another day or so before it wouldn't hurt to move with the same range of motion as before.

"I knew you'd probably want to get out of here as soon as possible." He looked at the medcenter staff in sight. The last time he sat down was in the pilot's seat on the way here. But he was feeling tired now that Indy brought it up. The after affects of the adrenaline were crossing over into exhaustion. But his experience told him he could rest on the ship on the way back to Jedha.

"I can go buy some more bacta patches, anything you might need then I can talk to the nurse or doctor or whoever to get you out of here." At least that way Indy would also stay put for a bit longer and have to listen to the staff. "Unless you're really dying to get out of here." He known Rangers getting hurt on the job and then having to stay in a hospital for days to heal. None of them were really fans of being beholden to the time it took to heal. Roland had never been hospitalized, at least not in an actual hospital. But he could empathize with the Pantoran's desire to get off the station.

Her cheeks seemed to turn a little more purple than blue for a moment. The Mandalorian leaned a little closer. Roland wasn't sure if that meant for a Pantoran she had a fever or stress. "You seem a little flush. Did they prescribe you anything?"

She merely shrugged and forced down more of the caf, grateful at least that there was something to restore her back from the land of the bored and medically restrained. She watched as he seemed to rub at the place where he'd been shot when she asked if he was alright; a brow perked at his change in topic. He wasn't too far off; if push came to shove, she wouldn't be too much worse for wear if she just snuck out of here and healed en route.

Plus she was really anxious to get back to the Galahad. There were important notes and documents encoded on a datapad she had there; she'd hate to lose it. Unknowing that Roland had left one of his droids there, actually.
"Would you help me get out of here?" she whispered, half-teasingly. "Bust me out of this, and I'll owe you another thing Roland."

She chuckled, leaning back, but the light blush on her cheeks deepened a shade when he leaned in closer, remarking on her coloring.
"I, ah.. no," she faltered, both brows raised. "It's not that."

She fidgeted a little, then sighed, giving him a side-eyed glance.
"Did I say anything weird on Jedha?" she asked simply, forcing herself to look up at the visor. "I don't recall much from the last few hours, much less at that time." She was told it wasn't unusual, but for whatever reason, she had the uncomfortable feeling she'd said something wholly unprofessional and she felt the urge to verify that first before going any further forward.

At the request for a jail break he gave an amused murmur and nodded. Roland wouldn't want to stay here either if he could help it. He returned to the socially acceptable distance after her stammering answer. The Ranger turned to begin looking for a nurse or someone to talk to about releasing the Jedi.

"uh...yeah. Mostly mumbling though. You were pretty out of it." He knew she probably remembered commenting on him being 'cute' but maybe there was something else she had been thinking that Roland didn't hear. The helmet of the Mandalorian turned back to face her. The man only took the comment as innocent flirting or coping with the stress of the situation. For that reason he didn't feel motivated to mention the specifics. "Don't worry about it." He waved a hand dismissively to let her know he hadn't been offended if that was her concern.

"I'll be right back." Roland said as he spotted a theelin nurse walking with a datapad a few meters away. Walking over to intercept he spoke up to get the man's attention. "Excuse me, Ranger Rook with the Sector Rangers..." The Theelin had seen him but still clearly stared. Partially because of the badge he produced, also because of the manner in which Indy and he had originally arrived. "Yes, what can I do for you, Ranger?" The nurse looked past Roland towards the injured Pantoran. Roland looked at the badge that showed the nurse's name. "My Jedi cohort and I have urgent business and need to head out. If you need me to sign something official for the discharge I'd like to begin the process." Roland tried to not sound demanding or forceful. The Theelin looked between the two of them again and then sighed. "Alright, give me a minute. I'll pull it up." Returning his attention to the datapad, the nurse walked over to Indy's bed. "Sign here. This says we aren't responsibly for injuries you might recieve related to your previous injuries." It was mostly to avoid possible lawsuit on top of the actual care.

So she had said something... but so long as it wasn't awkward, that was a relief. Instead she nodded once, leaning back into the bed again to close her eyes briefly. She opened them again at the sound of footsteps, seeing the Ranger return and a Theelin nurse in tow. She blinked once in surprise at the datapad held her way, then glanced to Roland, a question in her eyes.

Signing it hurriedly, she gave a wide grin as the nurse handed over her blast vest.
"Don't jump from high heights anymore," she warned before walking off, and Indy gave her most charming smile. "Who, me? Wouldn't dream of it."

Finally free from medical bondage of any type, Indy's golden eyes sparkled with delight, tossing the empty cup in the waste disposal unit.
"I don't know what you said or did, but you're now my favorite person in the galaxy. Let's go."

She was well-managed with pain meds, and her ribs were fixed up rather nicely. No point in lingering any longer than she had to... and hopefully this next jaunt, things would be easier to manage. Perhaps they could park closer, depending on the surface of where they would land.

They had a few hours, but in that time she would see he got his fair share of rest as well.

Roland smiled a little underneath his helmet at the enthusiastic delight that showed on Indy's face. Ultimatly he said nothing though. It wasn't like he did anything special. "Shall we grab anything before we head back?" Even if the station didn't have supplies, Roxuli would.

The Cobalt Viper was still parked and locked up tight on a docking tube. He went through preflight checks in the pilots seat and double checked that their fuel was still good. "We'll check on the Galahad first right?" The scavengers they met on Jedha weren't likely bold enough to try and steal the Jedi's ship. "My swoop was damaged so I had to carry you back to the Viper. We'll probably want to pick your ship up and take both to this site."

The firespray patrol ship detatched from the docking ring and pushed off. It wouldn't be long before they were tunneling through hyperspace. The Mandalorian new there would be an alert when they dropped out of hyperspace. Roland's breathing slowed and he could tell the sleep he had been fighting was creeping closer. Letting the weight of his eyelids overpower him while sitting in the pilots chair. At this point the starship was on the equivalent of cruise control

She shook her head, keen to get out before the nurse changed her mind. Sure, she could stay in the medbay, but really, why bother? She nodded once, giving him a faint smile. He didn't have to stop by her ship... but she appreciated the thought. That ship was one of the few things from her past life to hold on to; losing it would be a huge blow.

"I'll see if I can't fix your swoop later, if you like," she replied, giving a warm smile in return. "It'd be the least I could do in return."

When they entered hyperspace, it wouldn't take an empath to sense his exhaustion. From his body language, to the way he held his head, she could sense that the man would probably keep himself going until he dropped dead from exhaustion; she would help cut that off, at least, so he could take a break.

A hand lightly rested on his shoulder, giving a very light shake.

"Hey."

Her voice was soft, quiet.
"Why don't you go rest, and I'll let you know when we get to Jedha?"

Another small thing she could do to make sure he rested at least a little bit.

"Might have even been covered by sand by this point now that I think about it." He said indifferently. It would be more of an inconvenience to not have the swoop but most of his in the Rangers he got around on foot, via jetboots, or just getting locally acquired transport. "Sorry, what I meant to say was....Thanks. That'd be nice." He smiled a little behind his visor.

---

The man's eyes opened but realized in hindsight how close to falling asleep he had been. Looking more in Indy's direction he gave it a moment of thought followed by a deep breath. "Yeah." He could continue maybe. But then when they arrived he would only further be running on fumes. "It's a firespray 31. Tractor beam controls are... here. " He wasn't sure if she had experience in using those since it was a bit of a more uncommon features on smaller ships. But among asteroids or other spacial debris it could come in handy. The firespray handled differently than most ships so it took some getting used to.

Roland got up out of the pilot's chair and looked around the cockpit making sure he didn't leave anything unsecured. If Indy knew a thing or two about ships as she let on, Roland probably didn't need to tell her about the fusial afterburners. Though he neglected to also mention other modifications that were more or less on a need to know basis. Not to mention he was feeling tired. Going back to his shipboard quarters he took a few minutes to reapply the bacta on his chest wound before putting his armor back on and getting a little more comfortable. He would get some rest but the discomfort of his injury and accrued fatigue was not something Roland would find in the traveling ship. Maybe the Lieutenant would take a vacation to Naboo. In fact, that was what he dreamed about. Whenever he woke, Roland would be a little bitter about not remaining in such a beautiful place.

She was surprised that he even let her take over; somehow, she got the feeling if he was any less exhausted he would have kept to it stubbornly. She merely nodded once at his brief explanation of the controls, glancing back at him shuffling off to rest.

And so time ticked by.

She didn't mind the hours in hyperspace; the controls were a little tricky, but it wasn't anything hugely foreign to the Jedi. She had a deep passion for ships, after all, and seeing the mechanics of this one spawned all sorts of ideas. It was only when they drew close enough to Jedha that she pulled out of hyperspace, calling out over her shoulder.

"We're here," she called out, pulling the Viper into orbit. She wasn't quite exactly sure which switches would read for any other ships, but nothing seemed to ping particularly close. Waiting for him to approach, she glanced over in his direction. "Care to land, or want me to do the honors?" she would ask, giving him a faint smile.

Roland simply stayed in his armor after entering his compact quarters. The Firespray was not a ship designed for space and comfort. It did well enough on long trips for one passenger. A second wasn't too bad but the Ranger also had transported criminals half way across the galaxy which could be far from pleasant in some cases. Roland didn't think about any of this as he quickly fell asleep.

When the ship came out of hyperspace his eyes opened. A moment later Indy's voice sounded through the ship but she was only really a few meters away with a few layers of durasteel and ship parts between them that made her sound more distant. Grunting, and feeling the soreness of his healing injury, the man got up and made his way back to the cockpit.

Looking at Indy, he saw nothing seemed to have gone wrong while he was out. "Sure. No problems?" His body wanted to sleep for probably another four or six hours but he also knew that wouldn't change too much about his grogginess. Clearing his through and sliding into the pilot's chair he would take control of the Cobalt Viper.

A small dot on the surface of the planet grew to be larger as they grew closer. The circular shape of the corellian freighter came into clear view as the duo made planetfall in the firespray. "Better check on my droid. See anything strange?" With the naked eye he didn't see anything different except maybe some additional sand accumulation from a storm passing. The battery on Roland's surveillance droid may have run out since he didn't see it at first as he exited the ship. After a moment the droid came into view though noticably slower than before. The ranger directed the droid to start getting charged up. "Anybody or anything approach the ship?" He asked the floating eyeball like machine. It responded with some binary chatter letting him know that nothing but weather had disturbed the Galahad in the time the Jedi and Ranger had left the planet and returned.

Eyeing the Galahad from above, she noted with some relief there was little actually wrong with the ship itself; indeed, it seemed rather untouched, and even though it was a short time they spent away, she exhaled in relief, the tautness in her shoulders and face easing. To many, their ships were just that; ships. But for her, this baby was so much more. It was a gift, something she kept in prime condition when she could afford it.

"No, she looks fine," she noted, giving the Ranger a beaming grin. "Thanks for springing me out, I don't think I could've waited another hour." She was still not in as much pain as she would be, but waiting around to heal was never something she was too keen for. Many Jedi preached patience and dignity, but she was not high enough above pride to admit that there was something even tolerable about being poked and prodded at.

"Thanks!" she nodded once to the droid, and trotted over to the ship, but the jostling movement made her wince slightly, before slowing down her pace and turning to the Ranger once more. "I'll meet you at the site," she nodded her head towards the direction they were heading last time. "Hopefully we can find that bike of yours too; I promised to fix it, and that's just what I aim to do. The location's supposed to just be over a ridge."

With that, she turned away to unlock the ship and make sure the old gal didn't suffer in her absence. Flying to get the dust off wouldn't hurt either; if her memory served, it wouldn't be too far to fly. And hopefully, no angry scavengers would be lying in wait to ambush them at the site.

Wouldn't be the first time if they were there, though. She had faced worse.

"Without my help I'd say you'd have probably been halfway back here by now." He admitted. The Pantoran didn't seem like the type to remain idle when there were things to be done. The ship came in for a landing and the Mandalorian got out of his seat, stretching a bit and then following Indy to check on her ship.

The surveillance droid had a coating of sand and it's altitude was a little lower than Roland remembered setting it. But the fact that i was still active at all was a good sign. He gave it the command to return to the ship and plug in for a recharge. But the Galahad seemed to be unbothered under close inspection.

Roland headed back to the Cobalt Viper and went a little ahead of Indy's ship towards where he thought the swoop bike had been left. The the two of them soon would see the small, partially submerged bike. A few pieces of metal dotted the area from other debris. Landing the ship again, the cloaked Ranger grabbed a shovel he had on his cargo hold.

She smirked at his statement before boarding. He wasn't wrong; she'd have found some way to make a break for it, regardless of help. He didn't have to spring her out. And yet... he did. It was nice.

The old girl was definitely having troubles. Even at low altitude, it was giving off a sound that was entirely new; when he landed so did she, and checked over the old girl. Looked like she needed a little exterior tlc before the Galahad could fly anywhere galactically.

Roland made his way over and got a single shovel full of sand before he turned to watch the wining freighter come in for a landing. He watched for a moment, knowing it didn't sound good. Turning back towards the bike he continued to shovel it out.

There was no emergency like before. But it still managed to give Roland the beginning of sweat just from the desert heat and the sun. Shaking some of the sand off he managed to at least rig a way for one of the hovering repulsors to work so he didn't have to try and pick it up or drag it at least.

After getting as much dust, sand and grit off it before putting it in the cargo hold he went and collected some of the larger pieces he could still find though most of them were probably buried beneath the sand, or blown miles away by now due to the storm. Heading over to the Galahad he would approach. "Anyway I can help?" Roland stood with his hands on his hips, trying to look over the ship. But the Lieutenant knew Indy probably was more skilled in terms of starship repair than he was.

So, looked like everything was online, if not in prime condition. She wanted to get there, but not at the expense of losing her ship. But seeing Roland come up, she lowered the access ramp and grinned down at him as she lithely stepped over, a sheepish flush of light violet over her pale cheeks. "Nah... I think she ate too much sand though," she added wryly, running a hand through her hair. The braid tie had been lost when they first left this place; the plait had come undone, much to her annoyance. Sand was still gritty on her scalp from their last venture.

"I'm just gonna clear a few things out, but you're welcome to help if you like. Two sets of hands are better than one." She chuckled, stepping away. Snagging another elastic, it tied back into a ponytail, and she snagged her toolbox, a determined look steeling her features.

"Can't let it idle for too long, sand's no good for an antique like this lady."

If he decided to help, it would go much more quickly, but she wasn't super pressed for time now. Right now, the biggest priority was knowing if the gal could fly at all.

Much stressing and clearing out later, she did an engine check, and the Galahad hummed to life. Almost unwittingly, she let out a whoop and a small dance at getting it working again, completely unsashamed to feel some small degree of pride. She wasn't gonna let this baby go until it was completely defunct; which, as far as she was concerned, could be never.

She gave Roland a cheery grin the next time she saw him.
"Right. See you at the site?"

A firespray was relatively high maintenance so he couldn't imagine the YT-1300 was much more difficult to deal with. But he supposed it didn't help any ship. Especially since it was an older model. The Mandalorian went about, clearing out and helping where he knew what to do. After a bit the Jedi tested her engines and seemed ecstatic with the progress. Roland couldn't help but smile and chuckle at her endearing reaction. "Sounds good. See you there." He gave her a nod and turned to head back over to the Cobalt Viper.

---

After a short hop, the two ships found their way near the ruins. If Roland had not been looking for it he probably would have missed it. The stone work that was visible only stood out because of the hints of being artificially created. Straight lines, some carvings and flecks of what probably was paint in some areas. Buried items and structures likely existed even further down that were beyond sight.

The Mandalorian waited for Indy to join him before delving into the ruins deeper. There were still probably rooms accessible from the surface. But maybe the local scrappers had another method. The sand storms may have also just recently covered or some sort of entrance or recent activity. "Watch out for sniper droids." He said half joking. The Mandalorian was no expert but there must have been a land slide or something to have caused some rocks to collapse areas. But the main entrance was open enough for the two of them to walk ide by side without issue. "Ready to check it out?"

Indy descended from the Galahad with a bright smile, because finally they had made it. She paused before the great stone of the temple. Surely, so much more of it was buried under sand, destroyed by time. Though there were whispers within the Force, they were faint, dissonant fractures of what had once been light. Something happened here, like it had to so many temples, to be so abandoned by her Order, but the reasons why were lost to antiquity.

She shook herself from her stupor, to glance up at Roland with a faint smile, though it was clear something was on her mind.
"Of course! Been waiting days for this..." her voice trailed off, once again eyeing the entrance. Perhaps within, there would be an answer.

Something called out from within...

Something that made her pause again, and start walking forward almost without her noticing it. The heat had been forgotten, even her company, for just a brief moment, had been forgotten. Her smile dropped, and she paced in, cool shadows wrapping around her. Sand had trickled through everywhere, from many storms, piled up in places. But the further in she went, following that feeling, the less sand there was.

Several hallways branched out from her path, perhaps private rooms from ages ago. But the sensation got stronger the further in she went. If he called out after her, she wouldn't have noticed, so intently was she on moving forward, a hand on her lightsaber hilt, until she began to jog, then run. Straight down, a narrow hallway, until...

A massive stone room with columns stood. Time had worn down the columns that fell; a few still stood, supporting the roof with their ancient, heavy weight. But something still felt off within. She paused there a moment, slowly releasing her lightsaber hilt.

She began to slowly walk again. Her breathing became shallow, her hand reaching out as though to brush away the sand. Then she knelt, and began digging with her hands, hardly aware of what she was doing. There was something there... she could feel it.

But when she touched metal, she reeled back as though something had bit her, her breath leaving in a sudden, hard whoosh.

A V-shaped visor, atop... some sort of droid. Others, flying overhead. The stone temple... the sounds of a battle raging on. Blaster fire.

The hum of a green blade...

The vision ended abruptly, but sweat dotted her brow, eyes wide.
What was that?

Reaching forward again, she pulled it from the sand... and seeing it, feeling its' true nature, made her shudder hard, gripping onto the blade hilt. The Darkness seeping from it was like an open, poisonous wound in the Force, and she felt herself grow cold despite the heat around them. Roland would see her shudder again, face tight in a grip of pain.

She saw so much, felt so much. Echoes of the past, of a man on a mission. He blamed someone... and she stood before him. A focus. A green blade... a woman even whose mere presence sang of Light.

There was so much to process... she couldn't even begin to grasp it all. But her throat felt dry, her chest on fire as though she were stabbed with the very blade she held. It was blameless against the use of the woman... but its' sheer Presence was not.
I've heard of this blade before... if it is what I think it is. She gripped it hard in her hand, but her head felt wooden, and the rest of her felt cold.

"...There was a massacre here, and it didn't even matter to him," she whispered dryly, trembling. "He just.. he... it didn't matter... they were just the enemy." She repeated softly, brows dented in a grief that should have been felt eons ago. But in this broken, forgotten place, it was too late.

There were other things here. But among the wreckage, and the sand, there was something there the Mandalorian would have spotted before she did. Something that gleamed with a familiar metallic glint. But she still gripped the saber, trembling hard. She wasn't able to process anything beyond the past; she was completely lost in the phantasm of the battle that had raged on millennia in this place. The two people that were here to face each other, head to head.

It didn't take a Force Sensitive to know the outcome of that battle.

Something else glinted in the sand, near where the blade hilt had been found. The rough shape of it was barely bigger than her pinkie finger; it glowed a soft green through the density of the golden grains of sand. When she finally came to, she picked it up as well... and slowly sat back on her haunches, staring dully at the crystal.

Her head still screamed from all the sensory clashes; for once, she couldn't yet look at the Mandalorian that stood with her.

No... she had to remind herself he wasn't one of them. He was different, he... he helped her. She held the crystal in her hand, but she still couldn't look up. Not yet. It was hard to look at a T-visor and see a friend after the images she just saw, the blatant aggression against the fleeing Jedi and... people with sigils of starbirds on their uniforms.

Soldiers.

After descending her ship, Indy looked towards him. Before he knew it even beneath his cross visored helm, he smiled towards her reasuringly. It was Jedi temple after all. This might not be the easiest for her to handle. Roland had no idea what this place really was more than the limited information about the planet. A history with a Jedi presence, an Imperial atrocity, and not much else save for rumors.

The Mandalorian's Jedi companion looked towards the ruined and her expression turned into one of recognition or perhaps familiarity. A part of the Lieutenant thought 'Ah, maybe something's clicked. Did I miss something?' He thought to himself and searched in vain for what only force sensitives could feel.

Before there was any time to protest, Indyana began moving. She wasn't sprinting for cover or anything. "Indy?" He said. But the woman was already heading off ahead of him looking at something in the sand. The Mandalorian quickly ordered the ID-21 Seeker droid to guard their ships since the other droid was still recharging. Grunting, he winced as he trotted off after the woman. Some of the pain from his previous injury still persisted.

Her hands clutched at her chest. The man rushed to her and searched for a weapon or source of pain but found none. There was just more debris and signs of historic fight. "What's hap-" Indy grimaced and spoke something before Roland could finish is question. It was likely a memory, a vision of some sort. The woman had been affected by the saber he had showed her after the Coruscant prison. "Who?" Concern in his voice as he reached out to try and comfort her.

She shuddered at his touching her, trying her hardest not to flinch away. She knew this man; he had been nothing but good to her, but she couldn't help the feeling of resentment pooling in her chest, the deep desire to push him away. She let it go in a shaky breath, jaw clenched.

"I haven't got a name yet..." she whispered thinly. "Just a symbol. A badger?" She finally looked up at him though, her features tight with pain, gold eyes dark as her ribs screamed in protest at her unsteady breathing. It always hurt to delve into the Dark Side, but this? It was a persistent pain, a nagging pain that burned with every breath, every hand that held this, every anger and pain and want for revenge. But she still held on.

"But he was a Mandalorian. They all were, those that attacked. And they slaughtered... their opponents didn't even have enough time to flee." She knew she ought not to be surprised, but in a way, it was personal, deeply personal. In here, it didn't matter how much time had passed; it was just as fresh as though it happened yesterday. But then a more prevalent question came to mind, one that had been at the back of her thoughts for a while now, but never sure.

"Do you think... the galaxy is better without people like me? Like the Jedi, the Sith... any Force Sensitives?"

She stared up at his visor. Her heartbeat slowed, steadied, as did her breathing. The initial shock had begun to wear off, but the pain, the sickness of it all persisted. It would be a long time for her to sort through it all.

And some parts of what she had seen were still painful to even consider.
