The moment she recoiled from his touch he pulled back. When she said badger, a specific image came to mind. If Roland were a gambling man he would have bet it was Clan Solus. They had a zeal to them that made the Rook's gut begin to twist into knots. He had a bad feeling about this the more he saw the Pantoran's pained state.
He was busy trying to piece it together but his mixed concern for the Jedi and her words made him hesitate. It was an unexpected question at least now. It was usually the type of thing most people assumed about a Mandalorian, a distaste for force sensitives. The visored head shook from side to side faintly. "I don't think force sensitives make the galaxy better or worse." They were just other denizens of the galaxy with power that others lacked. He knew that Indy didn't mean the Jedi Order specifically, or the Sith cultists.
"You..." He added after a pause. The questions, the confusion, it was evident that the Knight had undergone something difficult and needed stability and answers. "...you aren't my friend because your a Jedi, Indy." His shoulder plates of his armor raised a he shrugged. "...you're a good person. You don't need The Force to for that."
Even if she couldn't see his face, Roland tried giving her a reassuring smile. "I'll...give you a minute." The boots of the Mandalorian took him a few steps away towards some other ruins and partially buried debris so the Pantoran could have her space.
