Disgraced House Antilles had managed to survive through the millennia dating back to their ancestor's at the time of hundred year darkness and through seeing the destruction of their homeworld. Prior to the destruction of Alderaan, several Antilles had scattered across the galaxy, eventually leading to Roman's great grandfather setting up residence and later his roots on Naboo. The son of a banker, Roman's force potential was hidden from his family for several years until one unsavory even it was unleashed in retribution against his sister for stealing his toys. While no harm came to either children, it was evident that midichlorians flowed through the young child's veins. As he aged, he grew a favor for mechanical tools and equipment while becoming an accomplished marksman; brief military training was enough and he took his first opportunity of discharge to abandon his family. Travelling into the unknown regions of the world, Roman grew in the company of other like minded darksiders, growing a fascination for the ancient artifacts and teachings of the Sith Empire. With the swirling of darkness, his corruption forged stronger until he was powerful enough to venture into the galaxy alone, an enforcer for the Dark Side, to create his own legacy.
A handsome man, accustomed to utilizing his looks for his advantage, Roman is typically dressed in elegant but simplistic robes. All of which are ebony in nature, harboring the same darkened affinity that many of his companions share. He usually wears no shirt and prefers to remain barechested with a golden amulet looped around his neck as well as comfortable leggings and boots. When tradition dictates, he will dress accordingly in well fitted suits and travel gear appropriate to the environment.
Previously raised as a well-mannered young man, not much has changed in Roman as he ventured onto his own. The corruption of darkness has twisted his once benevolent soul to something more sinister and added a significant amount of rage and hot-tempered attitude to his personality. Aside from that, his self confidence in his own abilities is daunting, almost boiling to the point of sheer arrogance. Direct and confrontational, Roman always prefers being the aggressor and will often times sacrifice intuition and wisdom for bravado.
