The war was going well for the Sith, the Imperials, and the Mandalorians. Several key locations were now under the rule of the Imperials and the rumour that the Jedi Grandmaster had been killed had now been confirmed. Despitse the growing success of the war, several Jedi and high ranking officers in the Galactic Alliance had gone into hiding, perhaps to lick their wounds and regroup. Rumour also had reached the ears of the Sith Hierarchy of a G.A. General and several of his troops had fled to the desert world of Tatooine. The Imperials leaving nothing to chance had dispatched a Sith Crusader and her Apprentice along with a small contigent of Imperial Stormtroopers to hunt down and retrieve the General.

The ramp touched down on the sand covered stoned ground in the Anchorhead space Port follwed by the Sith Crusader Megara with her Apprentice Yr'il Ber'ong a step behind her. Megara touched down on the Space Port's cracked ridden ground, look to her left then her right in attmept to sense any Jedi in the area. They had been sent to bring back the General and any prisoners from the General's force but it didn't mean the Jedi would not be here in the Outer Rim hiding like cowards. Megara sighed and a small frown appeared on her blue-gray face. The Chiss Sith was disappointed that no Jedi were in the vicinty so she turned toward the small transport and gestured with her left hand.

Several Imperial Stormtroopers debarked from the ship followed by their Imperial Officer, Lt. Commander Jenkins. Megara looked at her Apprentice and said,"Go with Lt. Commander Jenkins and take with you 10 Imperial Troopers and conduct a door to door search for any Galactic Alliance soldiers. Do not harrass the locals Apprentice and if they refuse to allow you to search their residence note the residence and we will conduct a thorough search later. I will take the other half of our Troopers and begin to search the local businesses. Remember Apprentice, the General is to remain alive but his soldiers are expendable." Megara turned toward Lt. Commander Jenkins saying,"If you do not find what we are looking for then we will have to resort to interrogations but we only detain those that look out of place in Anchorhead or refuse to grant us access to their residence. I do not believe this mission will be a walk in the park Commander so keep alert."

Megara turned back to her Apprentice and added,"Trust in your training Apprentice. If I need you or vice versa you can conduct me via the com link on your waist belt." Megara gestured to her small contigent of troopers and entered the main section of Anchorhead heading to the first business, a small droid shop.

My Master told me that we would be going to the planet of Tatooine, a desert world rich in history and a world I was anxious to visit. But this was not going to be a simple mission from the breifing my Master gave me on the ship. We were hunting down some Galactic Alliance General but my Master had stressed to me that he was to be kept alive so no killing, but his fellow soldiers had been assigned expendable. So here was a chance to practice my skills with the Force and my lightsaber. Killing soldiers, especially trained soldiers were not beneath me or a sign of weakness for they were trained to fight and kill. And from what I heard they enjoyed killing Sith.

Our ship landed and my Master led the way and I followed behind her. My eyes took a few seconds to adjust to the bright suns of Tatooine but when they had adjusted, I saw a Space Port that was sand covered and I saw several species I have never seen before. A melting pot of sorts. Master Megara ordered me to take ten soldiers with me and that the Imperial Officer, Jenkins, was to accompying me. I was not sure if this was a test of my leadership or if my Master was not sure of capability by sending the officer with me. I pulled my hood over my white hair and entered Anchorhead itself.

My job was to do a house to house search and I knew from the stares we were being shot with told me that this was going to be interesting. The first three house we searched yielded nothing but the fourth house we came to, the owner was acting strange. Lt. Commander Jenkins marked it down on his data pad and we began to move away when I felt a echo in the Force. I stopped abruptly turned around and saw two men with blaster rifles standing on the roof of the house and they were aiming at us. "On the roof," I shouted as I quickly drew Serpent's Breath from my side and ignited him. The Imperial soldiers turned and raised their weapons to shoot just as I took a step in front of them and switched to the Shein from and began to direct the blaster shots into the sand. I was not completely comfortable with my skills to send the shots back so I guarded the soldiers with my lightsaber as the Imperials did their job.

One roof-top soldier died and the other disappeared and I assumed he was running away. I ordered the Commander and the troops to stay put and I Force Jumped up onto the roof and saw the soldier hopping across the roof tops. I used the force to increase my speed and gave chase. I caught up to him quickly but he was not going down with a fight. He turned on me and began to shoot blaster shots at me. I batted them away as I slowly moved toward him. I knew the soldiers were expendable but I wanted to capture this one and perhaps through interrogations he would reveal his comrades to us. But the Norns would not allow that to happen. I gripped his throat to the Force and slowly began to squeeze and when I did this, he dropped his weapon. I was a fool to think he would give up quickly so when I released him he pulled from his back a small vibrosword and attacked.

I parried his first attack and left as I moved into the Djem So form then when he overextended himself I struck. I Parried his attack to the right then quickly twirled my lightsaber around and stabbed him in the stomach. I felt him die right there and after pulling Serpent's Breath from his lifeless body, I kicked him over the edge then jumped down. I searched his body and found nothing of use. I looked up and saw the Imperial soldiers running toward me led by the Lt. Commander. I felt a rush of anger swell inside me. I told them, no ordered them to stay put and the Commander had openly disobeyed me, challenging my leadership skills.

I thought about punishing him for his insolence but then decided I would deal with him later, away from the eyes of the Imperial soldiers. "Come Commander Jenkins, let us continue the search," I said adding a dark tone to my voice to let him know I was not pleased by his actions.

Megara led her soldiers toward the droid shop. She ordered seven to stand guard outside and took three with inside with her. Once inside, she told the three remaining soldiers to fan out and scour the shop while she went to speak with the shop owner. The shop owner, a pudgey looking Toong, was kneeling in front of a droid he was reparing that looked better in a scrap yard than in need of repair. Megara stood there in silecne waiting for the Toong to acknowledge her presence and when he did not, she grasped a tool from a shelf via the Force and dropped it on his head. The Toong stood up startled, rubbing his head. The Toong turned around and saw Megara standing there. He was not sure of what to make of her so he dropped into seller's mode. "Hello prospective buyer," he said his words translated from his native language of Tundan to Basic through his communication translator,"My name is Ren and can I interest you in a new droid or perhaps a refurbished droid?"

Megara shook her head no then replied,"I am not here to purchase your wares citizen but to make some inquires. Now, it has been brought to the attention of the Empire that several Galactic Soldiers have taken refuge here on Tatooine and could be spread through out the space ports. It is your duty as an Imperial citizen to notify us if you have seen anything that...." The Toong's laughter cut of Megara in mid sentence and she was not pleased by this gesture. Then the Toong, Ren, said,"I do not know what you speak of lady but would you be interested in buying...." Megara slammed her left fist down hard on the counter stopping his sales pitch and was about to speak when one of the Imperial soldiers lifted up a ragged and dirty G.A. uniform from behind one of the work stations.

The Toong chuckled nervously then clenched his hands around his throat while Megara, with her right hand outstretched, was staring into his scared eyes as she was Force Choking him. "I don't think you would lie to a Sith so I will give you another chance to redeem yourself. So tell me about these Galactic soldiers," Megara said releasing her hold on Ren's throat. The Toong rubbed his throat then quickly answered,"There were four of them and they wanted to buy or rent a landspeeder but I told them I don't deal with that sort of thing so I sent them to L'hi'op, a Pacithhip, who runs a landspeeder shop. His shop is two streets dwon from here. Can't miss it! I swear that is all I know!"

Megara gestured with a slight nod for the Imperial soldiers to exit the building then she looked at the Toong who took a step back away from both the counter and Megara. She reached into her pocket and pulled out two credit chips and dropped them on the counter, turned around and exited the shop. She motioned for the soldiers to follow her as they headed for the other shop.

The rest of the searches of the residences came up empty but as we made our way around the kiosks Lt. Commander Jenkins pointed out to me that there was a guy acting strangely so I slowly turned my head to see the man. For a second our eyes locked and he quickly broke the gaze from me and dipped inside a cantina. He was acting overly suspicious so I told Lt. Commander Jenkins to take the troops and secure the area around the cantina and I will go inside and seek this man out alone.

I entered the cantina and the smells hit me like a sucker punch. Various alien life forms were inside drinking and socializing but from the heat of Tatooine's suns, heavy persperation was thick in the air. I slowly moved around the cantina looking for the man but he was doing a great job of evading me so I moved up to the bar and when the bartender, an old looking humanoid of sorts, inquired what I wanted to drink, I ordered a non-alchoholic drink. He gave me a strange look then shuffled off to fill my order. I used the Force to broaden my view of the cantina trying to get a read on the different sentinets in the cantina but my senses were not as sharp as Master Megaras so I kept them on high alert in case danger crept from the shadows.

The bartender brought me my drink and as I reached for the frosty mug the Force screamed throughout my head. I swiftly unclipped Serpent's Breath from my side, ignited him and spun around bringing the heated blade down in a chopping motion, cutting the hand off the odd acting man. His severed hand, holding a small hold-out blaster, hit the dirty floor of the cantina while he clutched at it letting out a howling scream of pain. I used the Force and shoved him hard against the wall and moved into position keeping the tip of my blade inches from his kneck. "Out," I barked gesturing toward the exit. We exited the cantina together and just as I signaled for Lt. Commander Jenkins, I saw out of the corner of my eye a man sitting in a landspeeder.

He gunned the throttle and was aiming the heavy machine toward me and my prisoner. I shoved the one handed man to the ground then I lept up and over the landspeeder. The moment I touched the ground, I pulled a small black tracking device from my belt and with the Force guiding me, threw it on the lower right back side of the landspeeder as it sped away. Lt. Commander Jenkins and the troopers appeared, three soldiers cuffing the wounded soldier. I pulled my com link and pressed the silver and red button on the side.

"Master, I have caught a suspect and the troops along with Lt. Commander Jenkins are taking him back to the ship for interrogation. Also, another suspect in a landspeeder tried to run me down but I managed to avoid death and put a small tracking device on the landspeeder. Should I go back to the ship and assist in questioning the prisoner or do you want me to meet up with so we can track the landspeeder with my datapad?"

Megara marched toward the shop with purpose. She had not been on this planet along and she was already hating the heat and the sand. She spotted the shop and entered with her soldiers right behind her. The Pacithhip was standing at the counter looking through manifests with a silver protocol droid standing next to him. The Pacithhip looked up from his work and in his native tongue spoke and the protocol droid translated,"Welcome..." But Megara raised her hand to silence the sales pitch that was forthcoming and said,"Spare me the sales pitch. I know you rented a landspeeder recently to perhaps four humans, maybe less, and before you deny my accusations know this, my patience is already wearing thin." L'hi'op clucked his answer in his language and again the protocol droid translated,"My master says he indeed sold a landspeeder to two suspicious humans. They did not have enough credits to make the whole purchase so they trade equipment to make up the difference in the total. He also said that he has the bill of sales in his manifest logs if you wish to look at them."

Megara was about to ask for it when her com link chimed and her Apprentice's voice came through saying,"Master, I have caught a suspect and the troops along with Lt. Commander Jenkins are taking him back to the ship for interrogation. Also, another suspect in a landspeeder tried to run me down but I managed to avoid death and put a small tracking device on the landspeeder. Should I go back to the ship and assist in questioning the prisoner or do you want me to meet up with so we can track the landspeeder with my datapad?" Megara keyed her own com link and replied,"Notify Lt. Commander Jenkins to proceed with the interrogations himself and I want you to meet me outside the landspeeder shop. I will acquistion us a few landspeeders so we can track the other landspeeder. Good work Apprentice, Megara out."

Megara turned her attention to the protocol droid and said,"I need to rent three landspeeders, not purchase. How much?" The protocol droid spoke to the shop owner you looked to be thinking about a fair price but Megara suspected he was trying to think of a safe way to extort more credits from the Sith Crusader. The shop owner spoke and the droid translated,"My master says for all three rentals the total price will be 3000 credits." Megara knew she was probably being ripped off but in all fairness the shop owner probably thought he would not see his landspeeders again.

Megara reached into her belt and produced a credit chip transfer data pad, handed it to the droid who ran it through the computer, then handed Megara back her data pad. "Thank you for your business and on behalf of my master, we hope to more business with you in the future. These data cards have the activation codes for your landspeeders and you will find them parked out back," the droid said handing three data cards to the Sith Crusader. Megara led the soldiers out of the shop and around to the back. She handed one data chip to a soldier then assigned him and four others to one landspeeder then did the same with the other data chip assigning five soldiers to the landspeeder. The third and final landspeeder will be occupied by her and her Apprentice.

I notified Lt. Commander Jenkins of the plans and he seemed more than thrilled to conduct the interrogation, to thrilled in fact. I stood by the dead soldier that I killed and when the space port authorties came, I told them there was another dead body on the rooftop and gave them directions to the residence. They thanked me and went about their business. I glanced up into the sky and saw several classes of ships coming and going from the Anchorhead space port and shook my head. Until I entered the Sith Order, my life had been simple and my knowledge of the Cruinne limited. Now I was growing stronger everday and my eyes were opening up to new sights from the Cruinne while my life was in the midst of chaos.

I made my way toward the landspeeder shop, stopping once to ask directions. It seemed to me that my Master assumed I knew where I was going. I wondered if she was testing me yet again. At last I saw the shop in the distance and made my way to it. At first I did not see my Master or the soldiers with her and wondered now if I had been given wrong directions but then I saw three landspeeders moving from around the back of the shop. I saw my Master driving one and the other two filled with the soldiers she took with her. I ran over to the landspeeder and jumped into the passanger seat.

I pulled my data pad out from my utility belt and said,"The suspect seems to be going through the front gate as we speak Master. If we hurry we can catch him." I looked over at my Master and it seemed she was not in a hurry. did she have some sort of plan and had not yet told me about it.

"There is no rush to catch him Apprentice. We want him to lead us to his comrades and perhaps the General we seek. If we stop him now it may take us days even weeks to find the General. So we let him think he has gotten away for now," Megara said as she led the procession of landspeeders through the crowded sandy lanes of Anchorhead. They arrived at the gate and there was no sign of the landspeeder they were tracking so now Megara nodded to the data pad in her Apprentice's hands. "Navigate us Apprentice."

Megara and the other two landspeeders moved at a reasonable rate of speed through the the sand dunes of Tatooine in an attempt to not alert the landspeeder's pilot that he was being followed, tracked. Megara turned her head left as they were entering a formation of rock clusters. She sensed they were not alone and she had a good idea they were being watched. Tusken Raiders. Megara slowed the landspeeder to a stop, raised her hands to the other two pilots of the landspeeder to halt and remain quiet. Megara had no issues with the Tusken Raiders, or Sand People they were often refered to, but the Tuskens were scavengers and at times, slave traders. So Megara knew they would have to deal with this situation before they could press on or word from this tribe of Tuskens would reach the ears of the other tribes thus thwarting their attempts at catching the General.

Megara Force Jumped from her seat and in mid air she unclipped her lightsaber and ignited it. The magenta blade hummed to life as Megara parried the first blaster shot the instant her feet touched the hot sand. She barked at the Imperial Stormtroopers to from up and take cover and repel the attack. Megara knew her Apprentice would not need prodding to attack. "Do not let them flank us or surround us," Megara yelled at the Imperial Stromtroopers then parried another blaster shot into the sand. Megara could not see the Tusken Raiders for they were taking cover behind the large rocks only appearing long enough to pop off a shot at the Sith and the Imperial soldiers.

When the Imperial Stormtroopers finally moved into a better position to return fire at the enemy, Megara gestured for her Apprentice to follow her and Force lept onto a nearby cluster of rocks and from there she had a clear sight of the Tusken Raiders. Six of them were spread out around their advantage pointe and were not aware of the two Sith standing on a rock formation, a Force leap away. Megara snarled, her lips curled in anger and Megara Force Lept across the fissure, landed and quickly sliced the first Tusken Raider in half. She brought her blade around and cut the head off another as he or she turned her attention from the Imperial Stormtroopers to fire at Megara.

Megara parried one shot after the other as she ran toward her next victim and when Megara was in striking distance, Megara parried the last shot brought her lightsaber down and cut of the arms of the Tusken Raider and then using the Force ability, Crushing Darkness, a cloud of dark energy engulfed the armless Tusken Raider and crushed him or her to death. Megara looked around for her Apprentice and saw that the young girl was striking with lethal precision.

I nodded in understanding. Let this soldier think he has gotten away all the while he is leading us to his comrades. It was a perfect idea and I mentally kicked myself in my head for not catching onto it earlier. So I sat back in the lumpy and uncomfortbale, and rather quite odor infused, passanger chair keeping my eyes glued to my datapad while alerting my Master when to turn. I looked up from the electronic device just as we entered a shadowy rock formation. The shade was a blessing getting us away from the suns that sought to cook us but something I felt was amiss. I glanced at my Master and noticed she felt it to.

Then suddenly my Master stopped the landspeeder, gave the soldiers behind a hand gestute, then soon after; lept from her drivers seat and ignited her weapon. I tossed the datapad into the driver's seat and lept from my seat unclipping Serpent's Breath along the way. I stood next to my Master assisting in her in repelling the blaster shots. She barked orders at the soldiers then she lept up onto the adjoing rock formation after motioning me to follow her. I caught a glance of some sort of hidieous mask before I followed Master Megara to the rock formation.

Across from us appeared to be six of those ugly things and they seemed to be fueld with passion and purpose in killing the Imperial soldiers. Master Megara jumped across the great divide and I again followed her. I knew what she was expecting of me so I moved into killing mode. The first two monsters I killed never put up fight for I had caught them unawares. The third one was able to rifle off a blaster shot in my direction by I returned it back to the caster and the shot struck it in the mask dropping the creture to the hard rock surface. I stood over the dead creature and was slightly appaled at the face behind the mask.

I turned toward Master Megara and she nodded her head in approval. I powered down my weapon returning it back to my waist sash, then lept down to the sandy surface below.

Megara looked at the two dead Stormtroopers and ordered the two others to collect their weapons and supplies. The twin sun's heat was looking down upon them like a fiery phoenix ready to pounce on it's prey. Megara climbed back into the landspeeder and after her Apprentice followed her, she looked over her shoulder to make sure the others in their party were secure in their vehicle and pushed the throttle forward. "Check your datapad Apprentice and get us back on track," Megara said without taking her eyes off the desert sand lanes.

Megara hated the heat and worse, the sun bearing down on her blue Chiss skin. Even her black cloak did little to prevent the heat from burning her skin. She let her mind, with the aid of the Force, to help cool down her body. Had she known this planet was so unbearably hot, she would have better prepared herself for the climate. She would not make this mistake again.

She felt the pull in her mind that her Apprentice was trying to get her attention. Her Apprentice had learned not to interrupt her meditation by speaking but by waiting till Megara acknowledged her. "Have you picked up his location Apprentice?"

When Master Megara ordered the troops to collect their fallen comrades gear, I lept back up to the top of the rocky formation and took a trophy for myself. I reached down and plucked a mask from one of the dead Tusken Raiders that I had killed. I Force lept back down where my Master beckoned me to follow her back to our landspeeder. I climbed in the passanger seat and held the mask out in front of me. I felt the eyes of my Master boring down on me and I turned my head to meet her gaze. "This is my first offical kill as a Sith that was not another Sith. I know this will not be my last kill but this mask will be a reminder to me of what great powers await me Master," I said with a strong conviction that I might or might have not caused my Master to smile slightly.

I pulled out my datapad at the request of my Master and turned it on. Quickly I was able to pick of the tracking device as we moved through the desert sands of Tattooine. I felt that my Master was in a state of meditation and I knew that she hated being erupted when in such state. I let my eyes scan the area looking for any other ambushes or signs of life. The deserts upon this planet breeded nothing habitable except those Tusken Raiders and perhaps those huge looking woolly creatures that where walking through the desert on their way to some unforseen paradise or secret only they knew.

After some time I moved my gaze back to the datapad and saw that the landspeeder we were tracking had come to a stop a few miles ahead of us. Through the connection our minds have via the Force, I alerted my Master that I had important information to share with here. She addressed me and I answered,"Our traget has stopped a few miles east of here Master."

I felt the acceleration of the landspeeder as my Master pushed the throttle forward.

Over one of the sandy dunes, just under the horizion and positioned over a looming rocky formation sat what appeared to be a camp site. Megara slowed the landspeeder then finally brought it to a stop. Megara observed the area and saw two landspeeders parked there. Her com link squelched and the voice of Lt. Commander Jenkins came through the small speakers. "Mistress Megara, the intergotation of the captured soldier has reveald that there are two seperate camp sites. One located outside of Anchorhead and the other is located outside the Mos Eisley Space Port." Megara keyed the button on her com link and replied, "Take your remaining soldiers to the other camp site, we found the one located outside of Anchorhead. Do not engage the enemy Commander but simlpy observe and report. We do not know which site the General is at. Lt. Commander Jenkins responded that he understood and will make preperations immieditaly.

Megara looked up and shook her head then exited the landspeeder motion for her Apprentice and the remaining Stormtroopers to do likewise. "We will wait for nightfall to attack using the cover of darkness as our ally. Here is the plan so pay attention. Megara pointed to one of the Stormtroopers as she said, "You will take the troops after nightfall and create a perimeter around the camp site killing any stragglers that try to escape." Turning her attention to her Apprentice, she added, "You and I will assault the camp site itself." Megara walked to the front of the landspeeder and watched the camp site. She felt a presence in there. Jedi?

5 HOURS LATER....

Megara watched the Stormtroopers move with deadly silence through the darkness as they fanned out to secure a perimeter around the site. Megara, with her Apprentice in tow, walked toward the camp site keeping her eyes and senses open to movement. Megara saw a lone sentry walking back and forth and smirked to herself. Calling on the Dark Side of the Force, she reached out and gripped the lone sentry by the kneck applying pressure to cut off his air supply. With the lone sentry trapped in her clutches, she once again used the Dark Side and forming an energy dagger, Force Spike, she launched it at the sentry piercing is heart killing him instantly. Megara released his body and continued toward the campground.

It appeared that the lone sentry was the only one awake for no sign of movment could be detected, also, there where six tents constructed that made up the sleeping quarters of the soldiers. With a finger, she motioned her Aprpentice to inspect those three while Megara, herself, would inspect the others. Megara walked into the heart of the camp site and entered the first of three tents. Upon her entrance, she saw a single soldier sleeping on so sort of makeshift sleeping device; stalking over toward him she saw his array of weapons stashed atop a crate. Megara called to her hand a small vibro-dagger. Leaning down now, she used the dagger and cut the sleeping throat of the soldier. Tossing the bloody weapon on the lifeless body, she exited the tent.

Moving quickly to the next tent, she entered with the idea of comabt in mind but found that it housed no sleeping soldier but their supplies. Megara still felt the presence of another force user in the vicinity and though she knew her own Apprentice's mark on the Force, she knew it was not radiating from her. Exiting the tent, she went to the third and final tent unaware of the progress of her Apprentice but knew her Apprentice was well trained and would be just as successful as she was. The third tent like the first tent was occupied but not by a sleeping soldier but a soldier wide awake, and cleaning his blaster rifle.

For a split second, Sith and soldier locked eyes. The soldier glanced to his left, breaking the eye lock, where his blaster pistol was sitting next to him. Megara followed his eyes then nodded at the soldier to make a feeble attempt to grab it, which he did. As the soldier made his fatal move to grab his weapon, Megara unleashed the Force once again. Unlike the lone sentry whom was caught in her Force Choke to hold him in place, this soldier was instantly killed by the Dark Side power.

Megara looked upon the dead soldier when she at last felt the presence once again. Spinning around to face the entrance/exit of the tent, she muttered under breath, "Jedi."

I barely glanced at the dead sentry as I passed his body and wondered how or what power my Master had used to kill him. No sooner had I arrived in the camp that my Master went to work. Follow her example, I ducked into the first tent and found it was a living quarters but at the moment it was empty. I concluded that this must had been the tent of the sentry my Master had killed upon our descent into the G.A. camping grounds. With a quick glance around, I exited the tent and moved to the next tent like a phantom in the night.

I entered the second tent quicker than I did the first and spotted two sleeping soldiers lying in their makeshift beds. I activated the button on Serpent's Breath and killed the soldier on my left with one swift swipe. I heard the second soldier stir to wakefulness and with a flick of my wirst, I turned my lightsaber backwards, lunged it, and felt it greet soft facial tissue of the second soldier. I withdrew the blade from the lifeless body and spun around, for I felt a tremor in the Force.

I moved into the night once again and looked at the last tent, and moved toward it with curiosity. I ducked inside and saw a lone figure standing in a brown and white robe holding a lightsaber, the green blade casting a light shadow on the tent's walls. "Jedi," I spat as the mere word tasted sour and charged. The Jedi, more patient than I, raised is opposite hand and I found myself hit by a wave of unseen Force energy that knocked me back through the opening of the tent. After I finally skidded to a stop, I rose to my feet, Serpent's Breath at the ready just as the Jedi emerged from his tent. The Jedi looked at me then he slowly took his eyes off me as he looked past me casting a glance over my shoulder.

I knew my Master had appeared and this Jedi now faced two Sith, Master and Apprentice. I once again charged the Jedi and attacked with more control than I did the first time. I struck left, he blocked left. I struck up, he blocked up. This Jedi was a better swordsmen than I, but I am Sith. I howled with anger as I attacked again but he blocked my attack, kneed me in the stomach and pushed me back again with his Force power. I twirled my lightsaber, shaking off the effects of the attack to my midesection, then I launched myself into the air.

The Jedi caught me in midflight with the Force and held me there for what felt like eterntiy as he was struggling with himself in deciding my fate. He eventually came to a decsion. He flung me to the right, my body crashing against a rock formation, knocking the wind from me slightly. Luckliy I held onto Serpent's Breath. As I looked up, I saw my Master and the Jedi locked in battle.

I struggled to my feet, gained my composure, and moved to assist my Master.

Megara watched as her Apprentice attacked the male Jedi. She felt the power and connection of this Jedi and knew he was no mere Padawan but a Jedi Knight, a Jedi Knight that would die on the sandy dunes of Tattooine. When her Apprentice was flung into a near by rocky structure, the Chiss Sith laughed as she slowly unclipped her own lightsaber from her waist belt. "Jedi fool, you should have ran and hid with your brethern and sisters on a better planet than this," Megara mocked the Jedi as she pressed the activation button on her lightsaber hilt, the orange blade emerging with a hiss.

Without taking his eyes of Megara nor addressing her attempt to bait him, the male Jedi stood poised to fight. And Megara obliged him. Megara slipped into the the Djem So form and using the Force, hurled sand at the Jedi to either blind him or distract him, and then she attacked. The Jedi, forced to take a step back to avoid the sand had allowed himself to be caught unprepared as Megara's blade struck at him nearly cutting him in two, as he barely got his own blade up to block her vicious attack. The Jedi attempted to use the same method to fight her as he did with her Apprentice but Megara was to good of a duelist.

Megara sidestepped the Jedi's knee assault, and brought her blade down cutting off the left hand of the Jedi. The Jedi roared with pain as he swung his blade in a defensive gesture to protect himself while he dropped a few paces back. Megara one again laughed, then shot a glance at the severed hand. Quickly, she picked up the hand and looking at the Jedi said, "Lose something Jedi?" The Jedi began to answer her but Megara flung his dead hand at him and attacked again. With a flurry of vicious strikes, Megara drove the one-handed Jedi back and back until his back was up against the rocky formation.

Megara stoled another glance upward and saw a large rock teetering on the edge of the rock formation. Using the Force she began to loosen the heavy stone as she spoke once more to the Jedi, "You need not die today Jedi. There is a way out of this that doesn't result in me killing you. Discard your dogmatic views of the Jedi Order and embrace the Dark Side. Join us. Become Sith and embrace your full potential." Megara sensed the stone had become dislodged and she held it in place as she awaited the answer from the Jedi.

The male Jedi spat at her feet in defiance and Megara simply smiled at him. "I figured someone as weak and narrow minded as yourself would not understand what I was offering," Megara said and released her hold on the now hovering boulder. The boulder dropped quickly and the Jedi, barely sensing the danger lept away from the Sith and the boulder only to be so distracted that when he landed, his back was now to Megara's rising Apprentice. Megara slowly moved toward the Jedi while behind him, Megara saw her Apprentice on the verge of delivering the killing blow.

I slowly rose to my full height as I watched my Master do battle with the male Jedi. I thought the Jedi was beaten when my Master took his hand but the fortitude of the Jedi to survive was high. As my Master attempted to crush the Jedi under a rock after failing to convert him to the dark side, he lept away from her and landing with his back to me, unaware that I stilled lived. I rammed Serpent's Breath toward his back but the Jedi was aware of me and turned to stop the killing strike and held up blade to his. I could sense the fear in him, I could sense that he knew he was beaten, and I sensed that even though he knew his death was apparent, he wanted to take a Sith with him.

But I would not be that Sith. Still in posession of both my hands, I launched a furious punch and caught the Jedi on the brim of his nose, smashing it and turning it red with his blood. The Jedi staggered back, blinded by the tears forth coming from having his nose shattered, lowering his weapon. I feinged another strike and he tried to anticipate my attack through misty eyes and when he failed to make the right choice, I quickly moved Seprent's Breath across my body and removed his other hand, leaving him both handless and weaponless. The Jedi dropped to his knees and looked up at me. His eyes had betrayed him. He wanted me to spare him but his arrogant pride would not allow his mouth to speak the words, and so I swung my blade across and removed his head.

Through the Force I felt his death immiediatly and I basked in it. I found myself enjoying the heat of battle but even more so than that, I was beginning to enjoy the killing aspect of it. I powered down my weapon but kept it in my hand as I moved toward my Master. "This camp has been scuttled Master. The General was not here but the adventure was not blighted by his absence, I killed my first Jedi and it felt good," I said and felt myself believe it even more. My Master nodded her approval and called our troop support into the camp site. My Master moved toward our landspeeder and I knew, without her saying so, that she wanted this camp destroyed.

I assisted the troopers in razing the campsite, then afterwards I joined my Master back at the landspeeder. Once everyone was ready, we made our way to the other campsite. The lure of more killing began to sing to me, and I listened.

Megara pushed the landspeeder to its limit, trying to make good time to the other camp. She was growing weary of the weather her on Tattooine and she was ready to either capture or kill this renegade General. Megara was secretly pleased how her Apprentice killed the Jedi, but more than just that, she was happy at how her Apprentice was grasping the concept of killing and, treuth be told, enjoying it. Up ahead the night sky was illuminated by what had appeared to be blaster fire, a battle had begun. Megara knew it was the General's attempt to break free and avoid capture.

When the landspeeder came closer, Megara shut it down quickly and lept from the seat. She unclipped her hilt in mid-flight, somersaulted and landed on the sandy dunes. She began to run toward the fighting, which had grown fierce, igniting her lightsaber along the way. She found Lt. Commander Jenkins huddled behind a cluster of massive rocks ducking and returning blaster shots. "Commander, I thought I told you to observe and report; not attack," Megara barked as she took up a position to the left of the Commander.

Lt. Commander Jenkins reported to her that they were doing just that but then the G.A. scum, led by their General, tried to break out of the camp site and it led to this current skirmish. Megara nodded her head in understanding then asked, "Do we have an estimate of the troop size we are facing?" Commander Jenkins shook his head "no" and explained they were doing a recon mission to determine that when they were fired upon. "So the General was growing desperate, feeling the jaws of justice clamping down on him," Megara thought to herself. She told Commander Jenkins to keep suppressing fire on them and that the troops that had accompanied her and her Apprentice will aide them.

Megara knew that had to get into that campsite and end this quickly. Turning her head toward her Apprentice she said, "Follow me" and began moving through the clusters of rock toward the campsite, using the rocks as cover from the intense blaster fire.

I held Serpent's Breath in my hand, unignited but ever ready to be called upon, as my Master pushed our transport machine to its limit. I sensed in her that she was ready to dispense justice and I agreed with her. We came here in the hopes of completing this mission rather quickly but it seemed that the three Norns that weave our fate threads had chosen to string us along. I began to despise this planet, not its habitants, but the weather. It was dark out and still the heat found new creative ways to annoy me. I was relieved when I heard Lt. Commander Jenkins' voice erupt over my Master's com link, but the news he brought was grim. The General and his rebelious dogs had made an attempt to break free of our clutches.

We arrived and I saw that it was a battle, not a mere little skirmish, taking place. Master Megara lept from the landspeeder before it came to a complete stop, and not wanting to be left behind or reprimanded for not following her right away, I lept from the passenger seat; following Master Megara. Having arrived behind a make-shift cover of rocks, I listened as my Master spoke with the Commander Jenkins. I stepped from behind the cover to get a better understanding of the situation and quickly I activated my weapon and parried one, two, and three shots into the sand, then I ducked back behind the rocky formation. The situation was serious!

Master Megera ordered me to follow her and we began leap frogging from one set of rocky structures to another until at last we came onto the flanking side of the campsite. I stoled a quick peek and saw that there were far more soldiers than we were led to beleive, but battle was in my heart, and the thought of killing my enemy tingled throughout my entire body. I looked at my Master, awaiting orders!

Megara took one final look at the scene before her, then ignited her lightsaber, lept from the rocky structure, and when she landed she beheaded one soldier and then in quick fasion, spun around and slammed her blade into the throat of another just as he turned around. Megara signaled her Apprentice to join her and when she landed, Megara said, "We need to infiltrate this camp and put an end to this battle. Our main objective Apprentice is to capture the General alive but everyone under his command are not so fortunate to have such orders."

Megara Force Lept onto a stack of military crates then over her shoulder said, "But if the General resists, then kill him" then lept off the boxes moving to three soldiers that were firing at a group of Stormtroopers, pinning them down. Megara lept through the air, somersaulted, and landed in the midst of the trio of soldiers. In a flash, all three laid dead at her feet freeing the Stormtroopers to advance toward the camp site. Megara looked up and following her gaze, lept up to the rooftop of some makeshift building. She looked around at the battle spotting where the enemy were positioned and the where the advancing Stormtroopers were. Megara deducted that they were outnumbered and with a hint of a smile dancing on her lips, she lept down and entered the building.

Inside the structure, she saw several more military style crates and only two soldiers guarding them. After they were dispatched, she slowly and methodically crept through the hallways. Hearing voices coming from inside the far room, she made her way to it, kicked it opened, and entered. The General was standing there with two more soldiers and upon seeing the Sith, he ordered the soldiers to kill her and he snuck out a side door that led back to the outside battle.

"Coward, Megara yelled at the retreating General and turned her focus to the soldiers. They were no match for her and she killed them, then exited the side door and saw that she had lost sight of the General. A loud explosion erupted from her far right and saw that the camp site's defenses had been breachd and several Stormtroopers were pouring into the camp. With the Stormtroopers inside the camp, she went in search of the cowardily General.

I nodded my head in understanding of my Master's orders regarding both the General and his cohorts, but i knew deep in my heart that if the General resisted slightly I would strike him down. My Master lept out of sight and after a short time, I lept down into the fierce fight and ran in the opposite direction of my Master, having grown in confidence and my powers growing as well, I was ready to venture out on my own in situations like this. I came to a series of turrets, rather sad looking turrets at best, that were being manned by three soldiers and you seemed on winning this battle single-handely; I had other plans.

I ignited my trusty weapon, Serpent's Breath, and struck down the first soldier with ease and surprise. I grabbed his lifeless body through the Force and hurled it at the next soldier manning the turret then brought my lightsaber blade down across the muzzle of the turret rendering it now obsolete in this battle. I lept through the air and repeled two quick blaster shots from the soldier, who seemed to toss his dead comrade aside and oull out a small hold-out blaster, and landed on top of him, driving my blade deep through his kneck.

Pulling out the heated blade, I repeled another series of shots from the last soldier manning a turret. With two turrets down and the last one occupied with me, the Stormtroopers no longer found themselves pinned down. I saw from the corner of my eye on the Stormtroopers raise a rocket launcher in the direction of the turret I was standing on. He nodded his head and I lept from it in the vicinity of the last turret. A loud explosion erupted behind me as I landed on the turret muzzle itself peering into the eyes of the soldier. He tossed his weapon aside and raised his hands in surrender. I sliced down and cut him two and left his two-halved body laying in the turret as i moved toward a group of soldiers running toward me.

Another explosion behind erupted and the enemy soldiers halted their advance and I knew the Sotrmtroopers were crawling over the wreckage. I stood in betwwen the two groups of soldiers redirecting blaster fire from our enemy into the ground and at times, back at them. One by one the enemy soldiers fell to either my return fire or the shots from the Stormtroopers. I looked around and though I could hear several fights taking place, it was clear and silent at my end.

I nodded toward the Stormtroopers in a "well done" gesture and moved through the shadows in pursuit of more enemies to kill. I heard my Master call someone a coward so I moved toward her voice and saw what appeared to be the General disappearing into a small structure. I cursed with hatred under my breath and ran toward the General.

Megara sensed her apprentice was nearby and as she rounded the corner, she saw her Apprentice enter the small but poorly crafted structure that was passing as a hanger. Megara realized the coward General was attempting to flee the battle so she doubled her efforts and witht he use of the Force, increased her speed and entered the hanger. With her weapon hissing loudly and casting shadows on the walls of the anger, she used the connection she had with her Apprentice to guide her. There was only one entrance/exit in this hanger so as she moved through the hallways she came to a door and kicked it opened.

Megara saw the General crouching behind crates firing at her Apprentice who was slowly backing away dodging and repeling the blaster shots. Megara, using the Force, swept the boxes away that were being used as a cover screen for the General and as he turned to face her, she ripped the blatser from hands. when the blaster was in range, Megara slashed her lightsaber blade down and cut the crude weapon in half. The General was now unarmed so he made a desperate attempt to board the small transport but Megara flung him into a hanger wall as he was about to step onto the transports boarding ramp.

Megara rushed over to the General, kneed him in the groin as he tried to scramble to his feet dropping him again. The General edged himself to the wall and was leaning up against it when Megara said, "It is over General. By the order of the Sith Imperium you are under arrest. Stand up!" The General rose to his feet and Megara nodded to her Apprentice to place the stun cuffs on his wrists.

The General now cuffed, the two Sith, Master and Apprentice, marched him outdoors. Outside the battle had been completed with a hand few of soldiers on their knees, hands atop their heads and guarded by the Stormtroopers. "You have done well Apprentice. Take the General back to the space port and lock him away in one of our ship's holding cells."

Megara walked over to where Lt. Commander Jenkins was overwatching the soldiers and said to the prisoners, "By order of the Sith Imperium, you have been sentenced to death for your crimes against the citizens of the Sith Empire." Megara nodded at Lt. Commander Jenkins then turned away and headed back toward her landspeeder. Behind her she heard the protests of the captured solidrs followed by the blaster shots and screams.

The General had ducked inside the building trying to elude both capture or death, so I followed him into the building. Once inside, I moved down the hallway as the battle raged outside until I reached the only door located at the end of the building. I mentally opened the door and stepped through and realized this was a hanger and inside was both the General and some sort of shabby looking transport. I told the General to halt and to my surprise, he spun around and rifled off shots at me.

I was able to block them away and slowly I began to move toward him but then he increased his rate of fire and I found myself stepping backwards until the door crashed open and entered my Master. Master Megara quickly took control of the situation and captured the General. I cuffed him per ordered by my Master and led him outdoors. I walked behind the General and motioned him into one of the landspeeders then entered the driver side.

On our way back to the space port, the General tried to convince me that the path of a Sith was beneath me and I only laughed in mockery and told him to be silent or I would kill him or leave him for the Tusken Raiders. Either the threat of me killing him or the fear of what the Tuskens would do to him kept him quiet.

At the space port, I marched him to the holding cell and made my way to the cockpit and ordered the pilot to get our ship ready. The mission was over, finally!
