Due to recent shuffling of leadership, S.O.L.A.G. now recruits more-frequently and not solely from the military. Mercenaries, ex-pirates, whatever - skilled persons can approach, and will be approached, by our recruiters as we move to expand our bases of operation.

Please note that, at this time, we're not transferring existing characters from one force to another. If you'd like a commando, you'd have to create a new one.

If you'd like to apply, create a character and post below, linking their name to their profile.

Please be detailed with your profiles. We don't want a faction of Rambos running around.

(Note: if you think your character should transfer from another force to ours, please PM myself or Adena)

I don't know if it's OK having two characters in the faction that are controlled by the same person - but I'd like to open us up to more indie characters, yes.

!#^*[email protected]: "What've we got, Veln? Make it snappy. The Senate's been gnawing at my hide all day trying to get me to go meet some dignitary something-or-other. Ugh, politics. This is why I like you, Veln. You're a man of action - I like a guy who uses his boots to kick ass, not walk his talk. You sure you don't want to come back to the Navy, son?"

VELN: "Appreciated, Admiral. Though, as I've said time and time again, this gig is working out pretty nicely. And, with all due respect, I'm not a fan of having to clear my personnel revisions with you. This whole 'failsafe oversight' thing smells like another Intelligence noose sneaking over my neck."

X: "It bores me to tears more than you'll ever know, Commander. Now, what fresh meat are we throwing in the grinder today?"

V: "I've got two applicants. Scooped 'em up during my last Delta intelligence rodeo. First one is a 'Zauriel Kerrigan', a specops grunt from one of the Core worlds. Joined the corpsemakers fresh out of boot, made himself a name in taking the little details and adding them up into a lethal equation. Fit, young and loyal - this one's got a green flag on it from the Delta reviews. He's already experienced the dirty side of the black ops industry. I'm approving."

X: "Don't tell me - he's a hero who denies all recognition and thinks he's just performing a service, not defending his fellow sentients? Can he kill from a lightyear away without anybody knowing? I'm assuming you were about to tell me his parents were divorced and he still feels caught up about it."

V: "No, Admiral, I think they're actually still happily married. But yes, cliched heroic badass seems to fit this guy well."

X: "Son, you attract these downtrodden hero specialists like bantha shit reels in flies. Alright, admission granted."

V: "File noted. I'll get him on the next shuttle. What's next... no, these are holovid tickets from the last shore leave... here we go. Billy Ray Gamble. That's his name, I kid you not - my guys triple-checked. His psych profile reads like the thought process of an epileptic at a disco. Racist, loyal, sexist, skilled... says here he's a crack shot and a talented pilot. Good at field medicine, too. Did farm work, volunteered with the polic- I'm just going to stop here and say that, for the record, we could safely classify this gentleman as a jack of all trades."

X: "But would he be useful to a concerted task force such as yours? You need specialists, not slur-slinging losers who can't decide whether they want to knit a scarf or take down a Krayt."

V: "Valid point, but he's proficient enough to adapt to any situation, and he's done extensive infiltration work - against Hutts, too. I've got my fair share of heavy-handed wrecking balls for infantry, but I don't have that many sneaky types. Approving."

X: "Approval, but don't come crying if he turns out to be a druggie or something. Alright, we're all good?"

V: "Yes, Admiral. As much as it kills me to part ways with you, I'm afraid we'll have to do this again another time."

X: "I like you, Veln. But not as much as I like pretending to punch foreign dignitaries in the face. Safe travels, son."

// end

(OOC: Sorry, guys, I'm just really into in-character posting and all that. Consider yourselves accepted. I've sorta fleshed out what you'll be doing within the Commandos above, but if you have any questions, you're free to message me. Welcome!)

(OOOOOOOOOOC: Oh, and - Xeno, your guy is a Charlie Six. Saint, you're a Bravo One.)

As you all know, I've already got a character in S.O.L.A.G. - however, seeing that he's the leader, it wouldn't make sense for him to go on anything but the most important missions. For everything else, there's

Zef!

I'm applying here just like everybody else - it's up to Adena whether or not she'll accept that character.
