SALE's Market

Advanced Technology Exchange

Service: Goods exchange
Facilitator(s): Multiple "SALE" droids. (54-73, S4-L3, 5A-7E, etc)
Known Affiliations: N/A
Known Associates: N/A

Resources, constantly fought over and attained on a regular basis. Many people happen across things that they want or need and then later these items become out dated. Perhaps something is just a piece of junk. But that junk could be someone else's treasure. Free and independent from any faction, the SALE Market is a neutral place where making money is the primary focus. Here people trade and acquire goods for their own agendas without issue. If there is an issue, well consequences are sure to follow.

Always willing to buy for the right resource, the "SALE" droids (or rather his owner) have a web of associates across the galaxy that transport high quality products. Whether these are the illegal dangerous blasters outlawed on civilized worlds, or the highest quality star ship parts barely off the production line, the SALE team can get it. The catch, is that you have to have something worth while for the exchange.

First, people wishing to exchange can usually meet with a representative at a known location. Alternatively they can contact a SALE droid through encrypted messaging system on the shade-net or their own encrypted business cards.

Rules of the Market

  • A SALE droid has the right to refuse service on anyone.
  • A piece of tech is able to be worth half of their lowest requirement to a minimum of 1. (rounding up)
    • Example 1: Quickdraw blasters (1-2 thread requirements = 1 "token" each)
    • Example 2: self destruct (3-4 thread tech plot = 2 "tokens")
  • 1 'Token' is worth 1 thread completed for a tech plot. You may use these tokens to lower the requirement of future tech plots or to directly 'exchange' them for a piece of AT if you have enough tokens to purchase it outright.
  • Transfer of will be done at a disclosed location in independent space.
  • Tokens are only viable at SALE's Market and as such may only be used here.
*Be advised, turned in resources will be subjected to detailed analysis by hired experts to ensure that the product is legitimate. Attempts to pull one over on SALE's team or their associates will result in no reward and blacklisting from future exchanges.

OOC Information

Link the relevant tech you posses, where/how you earned it, the tech you would like to gain in exchange, and tag the plot mods (@Painus, @Darasuum, and @Raydo)

Burkhart Kelborn is turning in the parts of The Hellion that he did not refit to his own ship. He acquired it by theft of some poor soul. This was one Waxa class ship Burk renamed and cut down to the the Rascal (the base writeup stats aside from some non AT upgrades). In addition, from The Hellion he also had one military grade power core which Burkhart is also turning in. Everything and anything else from the Hellion Burkhart had a use for.

Waxa class scout ship = 1 Token
Military grade power core = 1 Token

In exchange he would like to add a proton torpedo launcher (2) to his ship The Effervescent.

The contacted representative looks over Burkhart's goods, assessing them. He checks and re-checks their values on the market, thumps them a few times with his pen, then taps something into his datapad. He looks up, nods wordlessly, and transfers over two SALE tokens electronically.

Approved!

Brent recently earned while working for the mining guild an ore crawler. With little use for the Ore Crawler he wants to sell the industrial vessel and use the funds to get a Quickdraw blaster.
Surprised by the submission of something as massive as an ore crawler, the SALE representative nevertheless begins evaluating the quality of the goods. Knowing full well there's always a market for these things somewhere, he nods effusively and taps away at his datapad, transferring over the equivalent value of one token.

Approved!

Through his work for various companies on behalf of the Sith Empire, Mid has acquired an Ore Crawler from the Mining Guild after establishing a mining complex for them. He also got his hands on a stack of knockout gas grenades after aiding a soldier in taking out a dangerous fugitive (the storage container is still sealed, brand new and all grenades are accounted for).

Since he has no need for any of these, he would like to trade in the items for 1 token each, then use those 2 tokens to get his hands on a Lullaby blaster pistol.

No longer having a use for her 3T series astromech droid acquired from good work, the Sith lord would like to exchange it instead for a st-10 stun mod and have it put on her quickdraw blaster pistol.

She also earned from deucalians a Kastaöxi was the reward but she would prefer a thermal detonator instead.

When she captured jedi and his cohort (Elix Lorso) she confiscated a quickdraw blaster from the man. She already has one so will end up exchanging the weapon for one token at this time.

After Hunting down a dangerous killer for the Bounty Hunter's Guild, Sumas was awarded a set of CorSec grenades. But he has little use for these. Instead he would like to trade the set in for 1 token and then use that token to acquire a Jetpack for himself to use with his Beskar'gam

Long ago Koil earned a Wrist rocket but now he deems that a crycocaster is more suited to his job. He would like to exchange one for the other.

Having recently fought, defeated and looted Darth Victress in a fight on Geonosis Koil has come into extensive equipment he does not need. He is turning in two of the four thermal detonators found on Victress for two ST-10 stun mods to be attached to his personal quickdraws. (each item is worth 1 token)

Narir was a walking armory, and it was time for a change up in that armory.

He set his jetboots (1 token) on the counter which he had bought years ago and sought to buy a jetpack (1 token needed) with the credits.

Additionally, he set his Violator Disruptor pistol (2 tokens) that he had "acquired" years ago in addition to his CZ-MSBR (2 tokens) he had acquired for his “questionable” work for Czerka.

In exchange for the two formidable and dangerous weapons, he sought to buy a quickdraw (1 token needed) and an AC-27 (3 tokens needed).

Finally, he set his Corsec knock out grenades on the counter, which he'd earned from the guild in order to either earn a final token for later use or sweeten the deal if necessary (1 token for future transactions or to compensate for any of my miscalculations).

He spotted Silent Badger at the SALE as well, and gave a nod. The Mandalorians did love their weapons, and he was sure that the two Mandalorians alone had enough gear to arm an entire squad. No harm in being prepared.

After blowing up a pirate base for the Mining Guild, Sumas was awarded cargo extensions. But it's totally useless to him. He'd like to trade that in for 1 token. He'd like to keep that 1 token for later.
