Blood's Armour

Samuel Blood has spent a multitude of hours constructing this suit over the years of his employ, while fabricated from mostly commonplace materials, Samuel has built and attached a number of functions into the armour that make it very unique to his person and his regular method of operating. Created to provide decent protection as well as allow for decent mobility.

LEGALITY

Legal, some of its functions may be looked at sideways by the law though.

INTENT

To list the specific statistics of the armour belonging to @Samuel Blood

RESTRICTIONS
None

Type and Coverage

Type: Heavy

Coverage:

  • Head: A full coverage duraplast helmet with transparisteel visor.
  • Torso: Segmented duraplast plating over bantha hide undersuit covering the chest and abdomen.
  • Back: Solid durasteel plating over bantha hide undersuit, covering upper and lower back.
  • Upper arms: durasteel pauldrons and elbow protectors.
  • Lower Arms: duraplast covering hands, wrists and forearms.
  • Upper Legs: durasteel Greaves with duraplast knee pads, and spiked titanium cod piece.
  • Lower Legs: duraplast coverings of shins and calves, and durasteel boots.

Functions

Function 1: Jet Pack

  • Jet packs are back mounted units used by elite troops increase their mobility on the battlefield. The jet pack's maximum speed is 50 kph and it carries fuel for up to five minutes of continuous flight (flight mode), but can also be fired in short bursts triggered by jumping (combat mode). The wearer can control the system to switch between modes and/or disengage it from their armor via wrist controls. These packs are cumbersome, adding an additional 8kg for the average human (larger individuals will have heavier jet packs to support their weight). While the fuel is stable enough not to explode, direct hits from weapons can trigger the system inadvertently, after which it is rendered useless.
  • Force User Compatible?: No
Function 2: Armorweave Accessory

  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 3: Inertial dampeners
  • Intergrated Inertial dampeners help reduce impacts imparted wearers body, situated under the armour panels, they help the absorb the shock of weapon impact through the armour and most other forms of blunt force trauma, for example, a fall or impact that might have fractured bones would only give them intense bruising.
  • Force User Compatible?: No
Function 4: Recording Device
  • The recorder, usually located in the helmet, is a device that records visual & audio content for up to 6 hours. It has to be (explicitly) activated by the user manually to be active. It is also to be integrated into the armor's HUD (if a HUD function(s) exist) and recording from it. This recorded data can be transferred to a data storage device or terminal as well after the desired content is captured. A small thumb sized data drive holds the data and can be removed, overwritten or replaced at the whim of the user.
  • Force User Compatible?: No
Function 5: Left Wrist Wrist Rocket
  • Wrist rockets have a flight range of 100 meters and have a blast radius of 3 meters. They are single-shot devices and require manual reloading after use. They are effective against lightly armored vehicles, moving parts such as gears or hydraulics, and infantry, and do equivalent damage to a frag grenade. The must be manually fired by button or trigger.
  • Force User Compatible?: No

@Mad Dog the staff recently updated to add clarity to the droid blaster function regarding weapons it can hold and limitation to number of slots it can be used on.

We wanted to let you know so that you can update your armor so you don't suffer an equipment malfunction since it was unlikely you'd notice on your own. If you know anyone else who is using the function, please let them know as well

The arm can only hold light blaster pistols that do light damage. Only one arm can be mounted at a time.

also, that in bolded means that the Flash Pistol has to go, since it does ‘Special’ damage
