Which is odd because all three light sabers were sort of lost.

Hmmm... part of me hopes Leia does not go towards some Force or Jedi training trip. Would just seem out of place.

She's receiving it because the lightsaber has been discovered by the new heroes, and Han takes them to Leia because he recognizes it as Luke's old lightsaber. The lightsaber is studied by the alien woman we see, who is at least codenamed Rose, and she hands it to Leia.

So it has nothing to do with Leia being able to actually use it. She is the leader of the Resistance.

Rose is played by Lupita Nyong'o, or at least voiced by her.

I want to know who this guy is and why he looks like a Badass Stormtrooper.

I liked the majority of the first trailer but this one...I just kept getting a fan made trailer vibe out of it.

Also, I'm not exactly sure what the problem is with disliking something? Is this a new culture rule or something or are you guys just obsessed with me?

That's a pretty innocuous statement, just because I'm strongly opinionated about certain aspects of culture and that may in some cases lead to disagreement, should that not be celebrated instead of weirdly obsessed over for poor attempts at comedy that literally never hit the mark? It's just kind of sad tbh.

You guys need new material, shit is boring.

Also what exactly do you mean by ''even something like the new trilogy'' ? Like I'm automatically supposed to like it just because it's a new set of films? I already stated that I enjoyed the previous trailer, I mostly just disliked the brief prequely Sith scene.

But hey, if some dude on the internet disagreeing with your opinions about Star Wars is really that unique for you, that's pretty sad.

I love Gwendoline Christie, and am down for her being a badass stormtrooper, but her armor at least looks a bit too silly for me. Also I keep mentally pronouncing 'Phasma' as 'Plasma.' S:

I'll say this much, Finn and Rey look fantastic, I dare say they look perfect.

The opening desert landscape with the scrapped Galactic Civil War ships was great in concept, but didn't feel real at all, for some reason the quality of the rendering just looked fake as shit to me but it made me look forward to seeing those kinds of scapes in theatres on a bigger encompassing screen.

I liked the look of the Chrome Trooper, but I'm not into the ultimate end result of regular Stormtrooper designs, Stormtroopers and the Empire looked sleak before, but I feel like it's gone too sleak for this universe.

And I hate the look of the villain, everything about it makes me groan.

I absolutely loved it. I hated Dooku, Maul and Ventress and I'm hoping Kylo Ren will be a much better, more interesting villain than any of them. I love my bad guys so I'm looking forward to him the most.

I don't know, kinda reminds me of that one Sith from the SWTOR trailers.

Indeed it does look like Vindican. I reckon that's my favourite robe set ever. So elegant.

Personally, I think Kylo Ten looks like a badass. Light saber does not really another me. If anything, I love the wear and grimness it has to it.

That's what I thought, he has a very traditional Sith Assassin vibe to him. Though I'm not overly concerned with his design or appearance, but rather his story and personality. I just hope he's not bloody painful and boring like Dooku, Ventress or Maul.

I haven't mentioned this before, but I really like his name. "Kylo Ren" sounds far more down to earth and "normal" as opposed to the typical Sithy names.

I was hoping to see Gwendoline Christie play a Warrior-archetype Sith like Vader or Malgus, but I'm very pleased with the Stormtrooper.
