Sel Terrick was a Force-sensitive human male Sith cultist from an unknown planet in the Unknown regions, who numbered among the ranks of the Guardians in the Sith Eternal.

Biography

Sel Terrick was born on an unknown insignificant planet in the Unknown Regions of Space to stout followers of the darkside of the force and the various cults that made up the Sith Eternal. From a young age it was evident that Sel had the capability to use the force, and his parents, both of whom were no one in particular, raised him as a follower of the darkside, believing that through specific training they could raise a prime member of their ranks.

During his early years, they let him indulge in his wants and desires, providing the boy with the things he wanted in life, which allowed his selfishness and urges for wants to grow into more and more passion. He had never heard no as a child, but this was simply part of their plan, and as the boy grew older they would begin to strip more and more away from him, denying him things that he once always got, attention, possessions and sometimes even food. This bore a resentment, and eventually his powers in the force began to manifest the darkside of the force--and his parents knew their task was completed.

Sel like many children of cultists were lead away to be taught by members of the Eternal, where he endured through rigorous training, and slowly he was stripped of his identity provided to him, until the memories of what turned him to the darkside had slowly faded and he could no longer recall why, only that he felt the desire to want and to take, and that he would always try and get what he wanted. With basic training completed, Sel would complete his initiation by securing an ancient Jedi lightsaber, which is heavy in his hands, and the crystal still outright rejects him. With no identity or purpose of his own, only primal desires Sel is ready to be lead by those who would look to harness his powers.

Personality

Sel is someone that is extremely jealous and impulsive, his child like mentality often surges through him when things frustrate him and he is prone to complete meltdowns and tantrums. He is someone that wants to be an elite member, to harness his powers and his connection to the darkside of the force and knows that he is still raw and untrained, but he would never admit it. He demands respect even if it's not something he's earned.

He is rather aimless with no real goals or dreams of his own, he simply wants to be lead and told where to go, creating this conundrum of an ideology. He wants respect and titles, yet has no ambition to get it for himself, he is someone that is a product of the molding that the Eternal creates, and his impulsive behavior and bidding slowly chips away at his humanity--a humanity that could have been in tact if he was raised somewhere else, by different parents, but these were the sabaac cards he was dealt.

Powers and abilities

Sel has a strong connection to the force and a rooting connection to the darkside of the force, he is familiar with all the basic skills of the force, but holds no specific abilities or gifts of his own. He is trained in use of the blade, though he's never killed someone himself. His fighting style and outlook on the force has yet to been shaped and he is still very much an open canvas.
