Sena Glider
A cool breeze swept through the Academy Valley, sending the lush green trees into a gentle sway and Sena into a shiver as she awaited her new Jedi Master. She still wasn't used to the temperature on Tython, though she found everything so vibrant and mysterious. She had read that there were planets like this, full of color and lif, but she herself never imagined that she would be visiting such a place--the warm sands of Ord Cestus was what she was accustomed too, it was home to her and she secretly missed it. The young jedi hoped that her older brother was okay, and that he could experience all of the new experiences that being a jedi had to offer.

The months that past since her arrival felt like an eternity, the order and the force was a difficult task to comprehend, but through both dedication and determination she was able to begin to grasp the concept of the force and what it meant to be a jedi. Yet, she still had so many questions that she wanted to find out. When she was informed that she would be given her own master, she couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and anxiety--who was it going to be?

Semira started to walk towards a courtyard in the Jedi temple on Tython. It was there she would meet her new Padawan, her first Padawan. Just months before, Semira had been an apprentice herself. She was genuinely surprised when the Council had told her that she would be assigned an apprentice.

Semira saw a figure looking around, and knew immediately that it was Sena Glider. The Council hadn't told Semira too much about her, other than the fact that she was new to the Jedi, having been at the temple for only a few months, and her name. Semira walked up to her Padawan and waited for her to acknowledge that Semira was there. It was almost a test of sorts, judging how Sena would react.
(I assumed that Sena was in a courtyardish place, tell me if that's not where she is.)

Sena Glider
The courtyard was one of the most magestic sites that Sena had ever set her eyes on. All around her giant statues of legends stood guarding over the young initiates and padawans. It brought a smile to her face at the thought of being a part of something much bigger than herself. The courtyard was vast, yet empty at the same time. She began to feel nervous as if maybe she was in the wrong place or possibly even late to the meeting.

She began to look around frantically, but had no luck. She sighed and closed her eyes, attempting to take a deep breath--and try to sense out her new master. Come on...come on....ugh...nothing, her shoulders drudged at her failure, how was she going to be a jedi when she still had such a hard time feeling out with the force?

Semira waited patiently behind Sena as she tried to find Semira. When she could visibly tell that Sena was having a rough time, Semira decided that she would approach her Padawan.

"Sometimes you just have look."

The phrase rang true. Although the Force surrounded all things and could be used to identify others, there were times when your eyes could do just that purpose. Semira walked up closer to Sena until she was at a conversation distance, around three feet away.

"Sometimes you just have to look." A voice called out from behind Sena, cutting the silence of the courtyard.

She quickly turned around to face her master. She was a young woman with dirty blond hair and apricot eyes. She's my...my master, she thought to herself. She was taken back at the vigor that her master possessed, she thought it would have surely been an elder. She bowed her head and peered up, "Eh...I'm...sorry Master," she paused, "I'm....Sena."

Semira laughed kindly at Sena's apology.

"Why are you apologizing? You didn't do anything wrong."

So far, Semira thought, her new Padawan was a curious one.

"I'm Semira. I suppose I'm your new master."

Looking again at Sena, Semira judged she was an adolescent, probably 11 or 12 standard years. She sounded like she was one to shy away from others, but it could of just been her nervousness. Only time could tell, Semira thought.
