Senexian Slavers Armor​

Senexian Slavers Armor represents the cunning behind the cruelty of their namesake pirate band. Senexian slave drivers prefer to capture their prey at minimal risk of damage and death to both themselves and their newfound cargo. To do this, the slavers typically begin a raid by blanketing the target area (be it a small village or the corridors of a transport vessel) with a variety of dangerous toxic gasses, noxious nerve agents, and choking clouds of poison designed to temporarily incapacitate a variety of species. Once these clouds have been given a chance to take effect, the slavers move in with their stun sticks and riot blasters to beat down any remaining opposition and stun cuff any potential slaves they can find.

To protect themselves from their quarry and from their own toxic clouds, the Senexian pirates wear distinctively homemade armored enviro-suits. The heavily waxed armorweave jumpsuits are proof against nearly any gaseous contaminants and are resistant to damage, while the fully enclosed helmet features a heavy duty filter that allows the slavers to breath normally while everyone around them chokes themselves unconscious on the fumes, as well as a special vision filter that helps the wearer see through and into smoke clouds. In case they come up against a prepared crew or creatures like Gammoreans and Wookies who don't go down as easily, the Slavers are adequately protected by crude but heavy and reliable durasteel armor plating.

LEGALITY​

Legal. While the Senexian design is distinct, the suit is very similar to those in use by many disaster response crews around the galaxy. You may get a lot of dirty looks wearing this though.

Functions​

Function 1: Senexian Filter

• Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. This Senexian model is proof against nearly any airborne poison, toxin, knockout gas, etc.

Function 2: Senexian Enviro-Seal

• The armors jump suit is environmentally sealed at all opening when worn with a helmet. This protects the user against all of the same toxins and gasses and other environmental contaminants that the filter does. This does not protect against vacuum exposure.

Function 3: Smoke Screen Deconstructor

• The Helmets viewscreen incorporates a specialized viewing mode that detects faint shapes and shadows in fog and smoke clouds and highlights their outlines. This allows the user to make out the shapes of creatures and objects not otherwise visible through up to 5 meters of thick smoke, fog, or gas, and up to 10 meters of lighter or more dispersed clouds
