Both of Hauron's legs were no longer held by the Sith. Their attention quickly changed to something else became apparent the moment he stopped feeling the pressure around his moved legs. But the heat from his focused flames lingered on the surface of his skin and had vaporized the scatterweave inlay on the surface of his shins and feet. The young badger's movement continued in an elvated clockwise movement around his target wondering if he would see a charred corpse in the next moments once the burst of fire was spent.
The cord from the grapple launcher faintly spiraled as it quickly unwound as fast as it could before finding purchase and anchoring itself to something. The young Mikkian was confident in his shot and had intended on dragging the Sith across the roof and possibly above it. In fact he was hungry to see the dark sider be pulled over open air. Instead of trying to use the automatic winching ability, Hauron locked the cord in place, not knowing that it had missed the dark side champion and anchored itself to the duracrete rooftop to her left at a length of four meters from where it had been fired.
This miss was perhaps a blessing in disguise for him as his wrist flame thrower ceased its projection of flames just as the woman let forth a torrent of electricity and Hauron attempted to drag what he thought had been her leg. Since the Solus did not want the dangerous lightsaber wielder any closer and the cord had only slightly overshot the Sith, he soon found himself flying up and over in a rapidly accelerated arc. The taught grapple cord was ten times the strength of durasteel and without a harness on, Hauron would have accidentally risked dislocating his arm and ended up reeling himself in closer to the crimson blade of his enemy.
The arching trajectory that the armored Mikkian found himself in was not what he had originally intended, but it would see him be yanked northward. This sudden motion would remove him from where he had been gliding somewhat predictably before and save him from the brunt of the force lightning from Vahliri. The lightning still managed to get some tendrils of electricity zapping his right leg painfully and making the appendage spasm momentarily. Short lengths of residual electricity danced from his right knee and down to his boot. Hauron gritted his teeth both from the harm the champion had managed to inflict and the centrifugal force exerted on his body as he was soon positioned above the Sith.
This arching motion would also bring the cable diagonally across Vahliri, possibly tripping her or making for an awkward closeline pulling across her lower left hip to right shoulder. But regardless of that, Hauron knew that if he did not do something, he would begin arching back towards the surface of the roof in the blink of an eye. Thinking fast, the digits of his left hand held tight to the tool and pressed the release button alongside the frame once he was just past the apex of his flight path, now four meters above the roof. This would cause the anchor to release its hold on the duracrete roof and its occupiers, the grapple began rapidly returning to its spool. All of this sudden movement was too quick for Hauron to line up a shot accurately but for now he would remain above his enemies and focused on avoiding more ranged attacks. Once free of the anchor he knew to stay above and mobile from his targets. His saving grace was that he was easily moving too fast for either Sith to make an accurate attack on him.
