Grace's Skippray Blastboat parked itself inside a docking bay in the city of Lessu. The city had expanded over the years, giving it a far more bustling and modern look. The young and budding crime lord arrived on the planet with her entire crew... A protocol droid, and a single nikto mercenary... On how their syndicate had fallen from grace. Many years ago, it was said that her ancestor Tyber Zann once owned a palace on Ryloth and that they had moved millions of credits over the years. Unfortunately, that was around a century or two ago.

She had arrived looking to carve out her own territory in the underworld, and spread corruption across the alley ways of the entire planet in due time. First however, a black market in Lessu would suffice. The door of the large ship would fold closed, and a small ramp would extend to allow Grace and her crew down. She would walk out into a semi-busy spaceport. The nikto mercenary at her side would remark, "Never been here before boss. Where were we suppose to set up shop?" He would be quickly quieted as the woman retorted "Sush! Keep it down Havvs... I already have a spot scouted downtown. The place use to be some kind of junk dealership, but I managed to Stea--uh acquire the deed."

Sure, they had a location, but what were they going to sell? A black market could hardly be considered a market without stock. Her protocol droid, who was refurbished B1 would point this out, "Uhhh... Mrs. Zann. We may have the deed, but what wares do we plan on selling?" That was... A very good point. They needed someone who could get them product, someone like a smuggler perhaps?

Where would they find someone with that skill set on such short notice?

Kist had been on Ryloth, more specifically in the city of Lessu, for a few days now. His time spent on Denon was a mixed bag. A success in many ways as he had left the planet with contacts in place and more credits than he had seen in quite some time, but a failure in the way that mattered to him most...status. The Pykes had paid him handsomely for his time and efforts, but the message was clear. Spice trade on the world of Denon belonged to them and them alone. Even though it had been he and his partners that had created the market and opened the doors for the spice to flow it was not enough to bring him into the folds of the Syndicate. So, the Bothan would still remain on the outside of the five families. No position, no power. With no further prospects beside more contract work Kist decided to leave the planet and made for more familiar space.

Though he had left Denon without the position he so craved, Kist did not leave empty handed. His ship was parked securely in the hangar space he had rented for the time being, its many hidden compartments filled to the brim with all sorts of contraband. A war torn planet was just positively ripe with it. Cases sat full of both Imperial and FWA weaponry, the serial numbers properly scrubbed and ready for the hands of any that had the credits. Along with them plenty of grenades and explosives for those who wanted to make a statement. For those that preferred a quieter approach he had repurposed slicer droids, disruptor tech, cloaking devices and all sort of illicit electronics to fill any thief's desire. Now, all he needed was someone to help him offload it all. Security was much more of an issue here than it was on Denon. What, with no war to distract everyone and all. Moving these products would require a front, bribes and backdoor dealings to properly set up a market. Fortunately Kist had the credits to do this properly. So, he waited for an opportunity to present itself.

This day started just as those before them. Kist visited the spaceport to check in on his ship and his "goods" before wandering about. Experience had taught him that simply looking and listening was often the best approach when seeking opportunity and as a new crew unloaded perhaps he was in luck. The woman that left the ship with a merc and droid in tow had an aura of power around her. No, Kist would never be able to sense that she could wield the force, but looks often spoke more than words. Intrigued, he would drift behind them, putting no effort into hiding the fact that he was tailing them. For once Kist actually wanted to be noticed as he overheard what they said. They had what he needed and he what they needed. It was time to make moves.

Mae arrived at this sorry excuse for a spaceport a little earlier then she had planned, but with an extra few hours to waste before she made contact with a previous business partner, she knew exactly what she could do. She was an avid collector of uncompleted droids or those who had fallen into disrepair. She knew that a market like the one here or the back streets would have a good junk yard or two for her to browse through.

As she left her ship in the hands of her first mate, Taz and his little-big brother Mog, she set into the spaceport with the more techy and business minded crewman, Tork. Of the three Aqualish brothers, he was the most like her and she appreciated his company. Before getting 50 meters away from her ship, however, she was met by her two brawny wingmen, Mike and Sean. Both of them were hired guns who have shown good use to Mae and some loyalty, but she could not forget they were in fact hired guns. The sight of them quickly reminded her that she has yet to pay them for the last job and she did not have the credits at the moment to do so. She did however have a cargo hold full of weapons she scored on a recent heist. She would need to find somewhere to unload the hot merchandise before she left this rock.

She headed for the market in search of some junk yards with the 3 men in toe like an entourage of body guards it must have looked. "Tork, keep an eye out for somewhere you think we can unload are cargo at, safely, and also any droid parts." She said to her companion. Tork nodded his head and the other two said nothing, just followed closely behind.

Grace and her small crew would continue walking while discussing their business venture. All three of them were unaware of the bothan's presence, and would all likely be distracted by the sounds of the spaceport anyhow. The mercenary would shrug his shoulders before responding to our droid "We don't just need wares, we need suppliers. People looking to offload some less than legal stuff on a regular basis." The droid would only retort "Well... Were can we find suppliers then?"

That was the million credit question. A planet like Ryloth didn't have much of an underworld aside from the slave trade. Finding suppliers who could keep a black market running there would be no easy task. "Look, I'm sure we can find some proper vendors you two. Lets just keep a cool head until we get a look at the shop."

The woman and her crew would eventually walk towards the exit of the spaceport, making their way through as small crowd. On her way out however, she would notice a small group of aquilish. They were accompanied by a human woman who looked somewhat similar to herself. That group certainly looked out of place, but maybe...

Finally leaving the port, she would watch Mae and her group head towards the direction of a scrapyard, and managed to overhear them talking about droid parts. Those tended to be easy re-sells at the right business, and if there was one thing Grace could do, it was business.

Grace would approach Mae in the streets, attempting to tap the back of her shoulder. "Excuse me. I don't mean to pry, but I heard you may be trying to sell some droid parts... I'm actually here to open up a new shop of sorts, and a few droid parts could fetch a few credits, as long as they're the right kind." And so was the way of Zann business, done openly in the streets rather than shady bars.

From afar, the woman's droid would state, "Ahhh... Supplier."

Mae felt a tap at her shoulder and turned to face the woman now speaking to her. Mae's companions also turned and faced her. Mike and Sean both put their hands on their blaster pistols until they realized the woman was of no immediate danger to Mae.

"Excuse me. I don't mean to pry, but I heard you may be trying to sell some droid parts... I'm actually here to open up a new shop of sorts, and a few droid parts could fetch a few credits, as long as they're the right kind."

"Haha" she quickly laughed at the woman's confusion. "No, although I do have droid parts that I could sell, I am currently looking for droid parts to acquire." She paused and looked at Tork before looking back at the stunningly beautiful woman, "However.... we do have other things to sell, if you are interested.... But I suggest a more private place to discuss it if you are interested?" Mae was of course referring to the stolen weapons cache that was aboard her ship.

As she waited for her reply, Mae looked the other woman over. She was much taller then Mae and beautiful, but there was something else about her that she just could not put her finger on it. Mae was force sensitive and did not know it and this was of course the link or connection that was forming. Or Mae could have just been attracted to her.

Perhaps Kist had grown too accustomed to slinking amongst the shadows. His subtle gesture went unnoticed as the busy spaceport proved too much of a distraction. Furry brows would raise as the group continued to speak openly about their dealings, the paranoia that had been driven into him during his training tickled up his spine. Constant vigilance! You never know who's watching or listening! The lessons of his upbringing had trained him to be a good spy, but perhaps these new dealings required a heavier hand.

Soon enough the group he was following would run into another. Fate would have it that they too were looking for wares to buy and certain "items" to offload. Following their lead, Kist would just walk right up to them. "Hello. Couldn't help but overhear you all, but it would seem that we all have needs we might help each other with. You need wares for your shop and you have need of spare droid parts? I can help with both. Perhaps we could see this shop you speak of and speak somewhere quieter as suggested?"

It seemed that Grace may have misinterpreted what the woman was looking for, as it seemed that she too needed wares. Lessu was a big place however, and finding specific droid parts could be a challenge. Not all was lost however, as the woman seemed to suggest they conduct business somewhere more secluded. They may have something special to sell after all.

Havvs, the woman's nikto would point towards a metal building which had a rectangular shape to it. "Eh, boss. I think that's the place over there. It's in the right spot and matches the description." Her mercenary was indeed correct, as the somewhat run-down building about a hundred meters away was the shop she bought. Frankly, fifteen thousand credits was quite the steal for that real estate. "We can discuss trade at the shop, it just so happens--"

She would be interrupted by the bothan's introduction. He appeared to be a man with a business focused spirit, quick to smell a good opportunity. Grace loved people like this, they were the kind of salesmen the underworld needed. The bothan was quick to mention that he could help them both, causing the young woman to grin. Her gaze would turn back to Mae as she responded, "I like your spirit. Both of your spirits for that matter. Lets take a walk to the new shop, we can talk there without prying eyes."

The woman and her crew would begin walking down the street towards their newly acquired shop. The building had no signs outside and appeared to be stripped clean of all valuables. The door of the metal building would slide open, revealing a large room that was mostly empty. It had a small back counter/bar area for displaying merchandise, but little else. It would take time to create a functioning store, especially if it was a front for something else.

"Welcome to our newly acquired shop. For many years my family's business has been gone, but Ryloth has given me an opportunity to re-open the place... Zann Re-manufacturing. We historically bought military and industrial technology and repurposed it for civilian use. You may be familiar with other business ventures my family participated in however..."

Mae was surprised by the 3rd individual joining the conversation, apparently another who likes to listen in on others conversations. 'We really need to take our conversation into the shop before we are joined by more people listening in and the next one may be hostile or the law' Mae thought to herself as she followed the young lady and others into the shop. She brought Rork in with her but had her two larger companions stand watch just outside.

Mae was again questioning if she should disclose the type of merchandise she had to sell, not really knowing these two or their reputations. Her ears perked, however, when she heard a familiar name "Zann". She was fairly new to the life of piracy but when she was still a grunt and learning the ways, she often heard tales of the Zann Criminal Empire, from the others of her crew. Stories of how a single crime organization rivaled the old Empire. Most of the stories she heard had to be false, like the one about how Tyber Zann captured a ship that could destroy other ships and planets with a single shot. But the stories and the Zann exploits were part of the reason that she stayed in the profession and life. It was the base story that her own Trinity Pirates could someday be more then they were.

However, how could Mae know if this was a true descendant of the legend, and not some scum who has adopted the name. She decided to go along with it for now and even open up about the items she had to sell and if it turned out it was a scam she wastes nothing but a little of her time.

".....Zann Re-manufacturing......you may be familiar with other business ventures my family participated in however..."

"Yes, I think we can all remember the type of business that comes with the name Zann. The type of business practices that could sell a load of stolen Blackwell Munitions, perhaps?" Mae asked as she handed a list of the items to Havvs.

She looked over at Kist and said "I appreciate the offer, but the purchase of droid parts is more of a hobby then anything. I enjoy drudging through an old scrap pile for the littlest of parts as a way of relaxation, but if you know of such piles, that would be very helpful." She had not given Kist much thought as she was distracted by the thought of meeting a member of the Zann family. She turned and faced him and introduced herself. "I am Maez Tecono, of the Trinity Pi..." She hated calling herself a pirate even if that was her real profession and stopped herself from saying it and replaced the end with "Organization" Trinity Organization, much better.

Kist nodded in agreement when it was suggested they continue the conversation in the newly purchased shop and kept quiet until they entered. The space was mostly empty, but he couldn't help himself from thinking of how he would set it up if it were his. There would be room for an office, maybe even a small living quarters. Plenty of space for hidden compartments to keep prying eyes off of the more sensitive goods. Yes, it would make a fine front for the beginnings of a blackmarket he thought to himself with a touch of envy. He shook away the thought as refocused on the conversation at hand.

His furry brow would raise ever so slightly at the mention of the family name Zann. He had of course covered the infamous consortium during his studies as a child. The way that organization had struck out on its own during the Galactic Civil War reminded him of his own ventures. Steal from both sides, sell to the highest bidder and reap the rewards. The very thought of it set his insatiable greed alight, but for now it would be interesting to see how this Zann descendant shaped up. The one that called themselves Mae would reveal that she too had guns that needed new homes, a potential rival. However, he was flush with Imperial and FWA weaponry and if the partnered they both stood to profit.

"Kist Ke'kolu." The Bothan introduced himself. No family name to drop, not one they would recognize anyways, nor did he have an organization to tie himself too, but that did not stop his confidence. "Aboard my ship I have plenty of parts that you would be more than welcome to peruse." He offered to Mae, before addressing the other. "If you are looking for military tech to repurpose I have just what you need. I too have weaponry to offer as well as disruptor tech, cloaking devices, etcetera. My question for you, do you have the means to offload them? If we were all willing to partner, this could be a lucrative venture."

It looked like these two came prepared, as both the woman and the bothan brought an assortment of weapons and technology. Mae had a list of items that belonged to Blackwell originally, but were looking for a new home. Meanwhile, Kist as it was, offered a much wider variety of technologies. He did bring up a valid point however, how was she to off load that much product? And under the noses of planetary officials at that...

"Well met, Maez, Kist. I'm interested in both of your offers, though it will take me some time to get this place up and running... I'm unfamiliar with the Trinity Organization, but I'm sure we would get along well." Grace felt as though she had heard about some sort of group that used Trinity in their name... If only she could put her finger on them.

She would think for a moment about the point that Kist brought up, this could become a regular smuggling operation, if they had a way to secretly offload the goods. There were a number of ways that things like this could be accomplished, but they needed to handle things quietly. The right bribe to the right official might just do the trick.

"As for a place to offload the merchandise... Why not the space port?" she would pause for a moment before elaborating "Space port security is an off-shoot of the Lessu city guard. The right credits in the right hands can cause anyone to turn a blind eye. I'll need to meet with their security chief in secret of course. After securing that deal, I'll be more than happy to accept both your offers, we can talk credits once the shop is up and running. Would you two be willing to lend me a hand?"

Mae was pleased that she had found a place to unload her cargo so quickly. She had more of her score stored away off world so she could set up a weekly shipment for a few months at least. She would then have to set up another raid to acquire additional munitions.

"I am prepared to set up a steady, weekly, stream of the before mentioned merchandise, but if I were able to acquire other items of value, would you be able to sell them or would I need to look else where for such sales?" She asked Grace.

"Also, I have noticed you have yet to set up shop, and I know it will take time to sell what I currently brought you, but I have some wages to pay to those two pilots outside, I'll need a 500 credit advance." She spoke this time to both Grace and Kist.

"Kist, I agree, if two of us partnered up, we could make some credits, but the 3 of us, could indeed be a lucrative venture" She stated.

Mae was going to wait until they agreed to the advance in credits before volunteering her help setting up the shop, but figured they were probably good for it. "Of course I will lend a hand"

Mae told Rork to go keep watch outside as she called in her two wingmen pilots who were a bit more suited for manual labor. She quickly told them to start clearing the building of excess bulky items. The two went straight to work lifting and removing items not suited for the shop, as Mae turned her attention back to Grace and Kist.

It pleased Kist that these two potential partners were willing to think big picture. All too often he ran into those that were just looking for some quick credits and lacked the vision to think of future ventures. A bit of risk and hard work up front could keep your pockets lined for many moons to come. "The port should do fine until you can get operations up and running here. If you're confident that you can set the meet with this security chief we should be able to get products moving soon enough."

The Bothan listened closely as Mae spoke of what she could offer. "May I ask how you plan to procure these weekly shipments?" He was partially curious on how it was being done. Never know when you might pick up a good tip, but mostly he was concerned with the level of risk involved in dealings. To help build the trust, he would offer some detail of his own operation. "As for myself, I have recently come to Ryloth from the planet Denon. As I'm sure you both have heard the planet is currently a war zone. I have set up contacts there that can provide a steady flow of arms and military tech." The Pykes could keep their grip on the spice trade there, but nothing should stop them from smuggling the rest off planet.

"I can't disagree with you Mae. Together we stand to profit much more than if we venture out separately. In fact, I would like to propose an offer." Kist looked from Mae to Grace and then back again. "I will cover the payment for your pilots, as well as any other employees we might deem necessary." Denon had been good to the Bothan and as a good student of business, it was time to reinvest. "I will also provide the initial bribe to the security chief and offer my first shipment to you Grace free of charge. I would consider this an investment into the business...as a full partner." He stopped there to judge initial reactions.

Grace was very pleased to have such new ambitious acquaintances. Mae claimed to be able to set the shop up with a steady supply of inventory, exactly what they would need. She didn't ask for much except a few credits up front, and that was respectable. It was a more than generous offer.

Meanwhile, the Bothan offered something even more interesting, a partnership. He had experience getting regular supplies of goods from Denon, a war torn world as it were, and must have powerful contacts there. The way Kist phrased his offer made it sound like he wanted a large spot at the business. Usually, the woman would have turned someone down for this, but this man was very charismatic. Of course, she would feel bad leaving Mae out of the deal. This would lead the Zann to coming up with a way to incorporate both ideas.

She would give a smirk to her two new friends before offering, "A full partner? I think I may have a better idea that would benefit us all... As you know Mr. Kist, I have the deed to this building and the operation here would be linked to my family business. I'd be willing to give you full ownership of this establishment... On a couple conditions. I will remain owner of the building and will act as your, landlord lets say. Instead of collecting rent each month, I will only ask for 15% of your profits, both legal and less than legal. In addition to this, you will be considered a member of the 'Zann family business'. We will provide anything you need regarding security concerns and we will cover your shipping fees."

The woman would piviot towards the direction of Mae, bring her into the fold as well, "Speaking of shipping fees... Mae, you're an extremely capable pilot I'd assume? I'll offer you 1,000 credits upfront to begin making regular shipments to our new business here. We can use Kist's contacts from Denon to begin a steady supply train with you as our conductor. Of course, I'd also be more than willing to buy your current inventory so you could unload here as well..." Grace hoped she sounded convincing. If she could actually pull this deal off, then the consortium would have it's first black market open on Ryloth.

Though she tried to remain composed on the outside, internally the woman was incredibly excited to begin their work. These were the first steps to fixing the consortium after all...

Mae, too, was pleased on how quickly dealings were happening. It seemed that all 3 were on the sane page, for the most part, anyways. She looked at Kist as he spoke to her about how she would be able to procure the weekly shipments. "I have a month supply at my home base and am in the process of securing a piracy ring to secure an endless supply there after, one way or another." She replied to him. Piracy was an interesting game within itself, you could raid shipping lanes and continue to loot the same ships over and over which is time consuming and also dangerous if they start beefing up security guarding their shipments, or the alternative is to blanket destroy any ships of that company or source to the point that they would rather pay you off in goods or credits to stop. The 2nd way is always the prefured way of pirating and was the way that Mae had all most finished setting up.

She then heard him make his proposal, and a pretty gutsy one at that. Going after partnership straight from the get go. He offered to cover Mae's initial fee too which was a good start at building some trust.

She was also amazed at the level of interest that Grace had shown in bringing Kist into the Zann Family. Her deal seemed very reasonable to Mae except for one thing, it would cause Kist to a) Work for Zann family instead of with as a partner and b) Kist would have to now man the physical business on Ryloth which is no easy task. Sure he could hire someone to run the shop for him but that would take a lot of trust in that person and it may weaken the trust of the two ladies in this arrangement who would deal with an underling.

Mae's mind continued to wonder and ponder the pro's and con's of Grace's over to Kist when she was broken from her thoughts as Grace began to speak to her now. She was happy to hear her say that she too would cover the 1000 up front but was a little confused with the next part. "So you want to purchase the stock I have right now, but not further shipments from my off world stock, but to instead, transport the goods from Kists contacts here? Does he not have the means to that himself?" Her eyes landed on Kist with the second question. "I am good with either, but I would like to bring my shipments in as well as Kist's to maximize variety and profits. Also, Kist, I am willing to transport your goods from your contacts to the shop here if need be" she finished.

She hoped that it was clear that she was on board for whatever the other two agreed upon. She was going to get paid regardless.

Before turning the space over to the other two, she wanted to clarify one last thing regarding her payment. "Am I also to understand that you wish to pay me for the arrival of each product or are you going to sell my wares here for me, and just jeep a percentage?" She asked to Grace more than Kist but was open to Kist responding if he wanted.

Kist gave a nod of respect as Mae told them about the piracy ring she was building. It was something that had always caught his fantasy as a child, of course he now knew it was anything but, however there was something about the daring and courage it took that impressed him. There was of course the risk that was involved in such an enterprise. Supplies could be lost to law enforcement or rival gangs. The very ships they used to pirate could be blown away if they were outmatched by their targets. However, Kist knew nothing of that game and to have Mae on board would surely prove to be beneficial.

The Bothan's attention would shift back to Grace as she made a counteroffer. Kist had to use all of the tools of his training to keep his expression neutral when she did so. It was exactly the kind of opportunity he had been searching for all this time. To be the owner and not the grunt doing contract work. It would be his turn to write up the contracts, to issue the orders, to snap his fingers and watch the underlings scurry about. He took a breath and reeled in his thoughts as he was quickly getting away from himself. The 15% tax that Grace would demand was a fair number considering security and shipping costs would be provided, however, there was something about the term member that made Kist question.

"Interesting proposal Miss Zann and one that's quite agreeable I must say." This was a business deal after all. Best to keep things professional and iron out all the kinks before final agreements were made. "I would like to add a stipulation if I may. After an agreed upon amount of time I would like a chance to renegotiate my terms. A...performance review if you will. At said time, if you agree, I would like to hand over the daily operation of the business to someone of your approval, yours as well Miss Tecono. If I am successful with this venture that stipulation would allow me to focus on establishing future businesses as I am sure this is only the beginning of much more to come. If you'd allow it, I would like this opportunity to be my proving ground. A chance...to ear a seat at your table, not just as a member, but amongst the inner circle." Kist stopped there to allow Grace a moment of thought. His proposal was bold and he was risking a lot to put so much on the line, but he was tired of the baby steps. There was something about Grace Zann, a power that seemed to almost radiate from her. If she was going to rebuild her family, Kist wanted in full stop.

Considering that he might only be a handshake away from owning the business, Kist raised a finger to interject as Mae spoke of her end of the deal. "If I may." He paused in case they weren't ready for his opinion, but if they were both open to it he would continue. "I would agree with Mae. We should bring in goods from both sources to maximize profits as she has said. My ship is capable of providing weekly shipments from Denon, but I think it best of we all focus on what we are best at. That being said, I would like to offer my ship to your fleet Mae. It is already outfitted for smuggling and should serve you well. With Mae in charge of the supply routes, I could focus all my time here building the market. With your resources Grace, we should be up and running in no time."

Grace was pleased to see that her offer went over quite well, as both her new partners wanted in on the operation. She would decide to first address Mae, and expand upon her initial offer. "Oh, I have all intentions of purchasing your current inventory Mae, as well as buying further supplies down the line. I also must say, this piracy ring has my interest is piqued. Should you need any assistance developing that, let me know" It seemed there was even more to the pilot than she let on. The woman was organizing a pirate fleet of sorts, and that was just the kind of thing the Consortium needed to get back on it's feet. If there was anyway she could convince the woman to join their venture, then the Zann must take it.

She would listen closely as the bothan made his counter offer, and would give a soft smirk before long. he wanted an opportunity to move up in the organization, that was more than doable. The consortium was being formed from the ground up, so getting a spot at Grace's side wasn't a difficult task at the moment. "You need not worry about that my friend. If you do well with this shop here, I can guarantee must greater status and wealth. Not to mention, a far greater pull in the family business."

Her gaze would then turn back to Mae, as she wanted to make a similar offer. "Of course, the opportunity to move up would also be extended to you. Under our deal, I hope to see you rise from a pilot to a proper pirate queen." She would chuckle to herself a bit, partially joking, and partially serious.

Finally, there came the idea to combine both supply contacts to stock the shop. It was by far the most profitable idea, but would be financially risky. Kist seemed like a true business man however, and Mae was a good enough pilot to garner a crew. That would be enough proof for the woman. "I agree then. We'll combine both methods of supplying the business, so hopefully the income will double as well... Of course, we'll need customers. To get them however, the word of the goods we offer will need to travel. Apart from the bribe, I see that as our only other challenge."

'Great' Mae thought to herself, it seems that all 3 parties were pretty sure on what they wanted and could offer. They were all very near the point of writing up contracts. Before Mae did though, she wanted to clarify something and possibly further increase the trust between her and Kist.

"I would be honored to accept your ship into my care, and that is exactly where you will find it, in my care. For I will make certain it is not only well manned and maintained, but it will also not be used in our more riskier operations and solely be used as a transport and smuggling ship. This way, when it is time for you to move on to bigger and better things, you will always have your ship back to you, safe and sound." She declared upon her new business partner.

She then brought her gaze back to Grace. "I like these new terms and graciously accept them. They are fair and I see your willingness to improve my footing, not just your own. I would also appreciate your assistance with my pirating opperations. What I have is a good core of leadership and ideas aswell as a good starting point to set up a few pirating and racketeering operations, but what I lack is man power and ships, perferably cargo ships. So, if you come across any manpower of any type, and dont need them in your own operations, send them my way. And cargo ships are not cheap and I dont wish you to sacrifice an arm to give me a finger, but if you have any laying around such as repossessed ships from captains who owe you credits and what not, send them my way and i can garuntee it will be a good return investment." She replied to Grace.

Mae hoped she did not overwhelm either with her long words.

A quick flash in the Bothan's eyes would be the only tell of the joy he felt. No, it was not the typical joy that lit up most of the people in the galaxy, whether it be scoring that dream job or buying your first home. It was the joy only scoundrels like himself would know. It was a flash of greed as images of his own grandeur flicked though his minds eye, but now was not the time for day dreams. "I thank you for the opportunity. I promise not to disappoint." Kist offered with a smile and extended his hand to shake on the deal.

The conversation would move onto finalizing the details of supplying the business. Grace would agree to merge both methods of procuring merchandise, but the question of gaining customers would arise. "I believe I could assist with that. After we get the shop underway I can dedicate some time to spend in the spaceport. I'll keep an eye out for who is coming and going. Get to know the locals. In short time I am confident I can drum up a customer base and that will grow with our reputation, I'm sure of it. As for the bribe, are you confident you can make contact, Grace? And should we have a backup plan if this officer cannot be persuaded?" He knew what his plan B was, but wouldn't voice it for now.

Mae would also accept Kist's offer and he was happy his ship would be put to good use. Although it wasn't much to look at the vessel would always have some nostalgia attached to it. It being his very first and all. Hopefully the future would bring with it the spoils and riches of a criminal lord, but it was nice to think his first ship would alway be out there serving the cause. Kist wouldn't be able to lend much help in the way of pirating, but he was pretty good at extorting people. "I'll see what I can do to help us get some more ships. Just need some time and the right opportunity."

It would seem that the trio was well on their way to breathing some life back into the Zann Consortium. Kist turned his gaze back to Grace and awaited instruction.

And so the three of them seemed to be in agreement, and their terms had all been successfully finalized. Grace could only look around the room proudly as she watched the forming of her family's old criminal empire. With success and help from others such as Mae and Kist, they had a chance to grow strong once more. Even still, there was still business to attend to. "And I thank you both for accepting my offer, in due time I believe we will grow strong. Stronger most other business ventures around."

Both her new partners made good points, and raised valid questions. Grace would answer each accordingly, "I am aware ships require manpower to operate. Hiring freelance pilots and security personnel can get very expensive in both the short and long term, Captain Mae." She would give the woman a smirk before continuing, "Thankfully, I have a plan to get a steady line of recruits set up, once we get the proper financial support. It will take time, but not nearly as much as you might think..."

Next would be Kist, always the helpful. He offered a way to get a steady base of clients, exactly what they needed. "I am confident that I can meet with the guard captain in the space port, diverting the attention of someone like that is easy for me. If he does not accept my offer, then he will meet an unfortunate fate I'm afraid... After that, I'll repeat the process until I meet a guard captain who accepts... I wouldn't worry too much though, I can be very persuasive."

With that, most of the young crime lord's concerns were alleviated. Kist would run the physical location, Mae would start building a pirate fleet, and Grace herself would provide what resources they needed. Everything was coming together.

"Now. I'll give each of you access my holocomm line. We'll all keep in touch, and I'll have this building furnished and ready for business to your specifications Kist. As I said, In due time, we will all become quite powerful."

(OOC: Unless you two want to keep going, we can posts exits, very fun thread. Thanks for helping me get the consortium off the ground, you two are awesome.)

As we were all in agreement, Mae took the 1000 credits provided and paid her two merc pilots. She then instructed them to go back to her ship and start unloading cargo and bring it back to the shop for further orders from Kist on where to put them. She then took Rork to the hanger, Kist had mentioned his ship was in, to inspect the new cargo vessel.
