Siri Firestorm
Master of the Jedi Order

[Entry in the Jedi Archives]

Siri was found on the Inner Rim planet of Byss, twenty-seven years before the Second Hutt War, as an infant and brought to Coruscant to be trained as a Jedi due to her high Force-sensitivity. For fifteen long years she trained at the feet of the Masters at the Temple, learning basic Force techniques, the basic lightsaber form, Shii-Cho, and other things necessary to becoming a skilled Jedi Knight. Reports from the Masters who trained her claimed she was a naive, yet friendly young girl, with promise if she was trained correctly.

A month after her fifteenth birthday, she was chosen by Jedi Master Haar, a ranking member of the Jedi Council and a weapon's master of the Order, to be his apprentice on Ossus. Her intense study with him lasted years, during which time, her mind was molded and sharpened and her wisdom and experience increased. Haar put the girl through rigorous training in the jungles of Ossus, intense lightsaber sparing matches, and refined Force-training methods, as well as taking her on a mission to the lower cities on Coruscant, before granting her the rank of Jedi Knight. Now a Knight, Siri continued her training in private for five more years before she felt strong enough, and wise enough, to take on a student of her own.

Her first Padawan, Alma, was trained on Coruscant. All of her future apprentices would be trained on Ossus, where she herself was trained. She also studied under Jedi Weapon Master Huang Karasu, during her second stay on Ossus. Sometime during that same stay, her former Master, Haar, was murdered by a Dark Jedi during a mission to Taris. At first, Siri was greatly grieved for the loss of the man she'd considered her father, however, that all changed upon meeting several Jedi Master friends of Haar, including the Grand Master herself, and Haar's own Master, Taecelle.

With new conviction in her, Siri set out and completed the training of her two other Padawans and, during the four years between the First and Second Hutt Wars, eventually rose to title of Jedi Master herself. Now a blade's master herself, as Haar had once been, Siri joined the Jedi and the Republic in the battle against the vicious Hutts and the evil Dark Jedi Empire that was rising in the Outer Rim.

[Personality]

As a Youngling in the Jedi Order, Siri was a very upbeat and happy girl. She had a fiery temper when angered, and often turned it on those that would try to do harm to her friends or herself. Upon being granted the rank of Padawan, she showed more control over these emotions, having been told how dangerous they are to Jedi all her life, though she still struggles with them.

She is rarely overconfident, in fact, a good majority of the times, she is under confident in her abilities. She has a constant hunger for learning and is disappointed when the Masters in the Order end lessons before she has "gotten her fill". To compensate for this, she often trains far longer in her free time than her fellow Padawans.

Under her Jedi Master, Haar, Siri tended to be quite naive, and displayed a low level of wisdom, despite being an intelligent person. She was kind hearted, however, showing this trait when she and Haar visited Coruscant, allowing a poor street boy to keep the credits she was sent by Haar himself to collect, so that they boy would have enough money to live on. Haar later revealed that this was her final test before becoming a Jedi Knight, and that she had passed.

As a Knight of the Jedi Order, Siri matured greatly, no longer seeming to be naive and displaying much more wisdom around her first apprentice, Alma. Siri remained good natured, and showed concern for her Padawan whenever Alma's unique Force power became uncontrollable to the point of harming the student. Siri immediately began devising a plan to help Alma learn to control her powers and help her avoid the dark side.

The four years between the First and Second Hutt Wars changed Siri more noticeably than her apprenticeship under Haar. She continued her studies under various Jedi Masters and trained two more apprentices, as well as embarking on some mission with other Jedi. During that time, her wisdom and knowledge grew. Her personality also underwent another "maturity spurt". She became more serious, more refined, and more demanding of her apprentices, though she always kept an air of kindness and understanding about her.

Unlike her younger self, she learned to harness her emotions and keep them at bay when necessary. She often felt inclined to help out and correct Padawans in the Order that got out of line, or disrespected the teachings of their masters, though she sometimes wondered if it was her place to do so. She matured quickly for a Jedi, becoming a Master herself at the young age of twenty-seven, but she didn't let herself get a big head about. All in all, she was very humble person who respected all life, and loved the Jedi as her own family.

[Skills]

Siri was a well balanced Jedi; being equally skilled in the Force as she was with a lightsaber. In terms of the Force, she could communicate with animals and plant life using the Force and often ask both for assistance when needed. Her skills with telekinesis was great from an early age and only increased with age; by the time she was a Master, she could preform the Telekinetic Lightsaber combat technique that had defined her Master, Haar.

Her skills with the Jedi power, Mind Trick, was also notable and she was a known Jedi healer by the time she was a Knight. The Force power that defined her, however, was her ability to create a "Wall of Light" with the Force that could harm or isolate a dark sider or dark side energies respectively. Her abilities with this power were so great that she could complete erase all traces of dark side energy from inanimate objects or small rooms, preventing the dark side's energies from corrupting those who came into contact with such items. She could not, however, use the ability to this effect on a Force-sensitive.

Like her former master, Haar, she was also skilled with a lightsaber. She could preform Form III, Soresu, and Form V, Djem So, respectively to a high level of control, making her a formidable foe to any who face her in combat, even other Jedi. She could also preform the lightsaber technique of telekinetic lightsaber combat, a trait her master had previously mastered himself, though she cannot control it to his level quite yet. She was proficient in using a double-bladed lightsaber, a rarity among the Jedi and the Dark Jedi, but could use a single-bladed lightsaber just as easily.

Outside the practices of the Jedi, she gained skill, during the four years separating the First and Second Hutt Wars, at piloting starfighters and could use the Force to help guide her motions and shots. Her computer skill increased, allowing her to program and re-program most protocol droids, albeit with mild difficulty.

Weaknesses

Of course, being an imperfect being, Siri has her own share of weaknesses. Among many of these is attachment, which the Jedi Code forbids. While Siri can remove herself from most emotions, her attachment to friends and loved ones both in and out of the Jedi Order is a weakness she herself has noted and admitted. She trains hard to control it, but in extreme cases, it can, and will, get the best of her, though so far it has yet to tempt her.

Her telekinetic lightsaber style, while formidable in its own right, has one massive weakness; a strong enough Force-user can yank the lightsaber right out the air and out of her use, leaving her opening for an attack. For this reason, she rarely uses the form; only using it when she is confident that she can remain in control.

Another weakness involves her symbolic use of the double-bladed lightsaber. As she explained to her apprentice, Ena, the double-bladed weapon is limited in that it requires long swings, which result in larger sweeping motions, which don't transition into jabs or thrusts very well. She also explains that any enemy who learns that by knowing the location of one blade, that person can also know the location of the other, becomes a noticeable threat to her.

However, she also has pointed out that the lack of use among the Jedi and Dark Jedi makes her, as a saberstaff user, more formidable than single-bladed users if not just for the rarity of the weapon itself, and the fact that many lightsaber users do not know a saberstaff's weakness.

Major profile revamp done for the upcoming timeskip.

Jedi Master status after the timeskip was approved by Sreeya.

Her History, Skills, and Weaknesses all got a ton of information added to them that should have been added a long time ago.

Her Personality section was updated, but all of the info that was in it prior to this revamping is still there.

Her weapons remain the same as before the revamp, as have her Force powers (which is updated as she learns new ones in the RP).

If there is anything I missed, please let me know. Comments and critiques are welcomed as long as they are constructive. Also, I want to emphasize the Master status taking effect AFTER the timeskip. In other words, until Sunday, April 17th, 2011 she is still a Jedi Knight. Afterwards, she'll be a Master.

I say that to eliminate confusion and to prevent people from saying "you need to ask permission before being a master". I have. Thanks!

EDIT: On the Force Powers list, I will updated her proficiency with them after the timeskip so that there isn't any confusion. Just wanted to mention this for those who may wonder.
