Serenno was a popular location for Sith gatherings and for good reason. This time it was the same planet but a different location at which the life day party was being held. Members of the Sith and Imperial military were coming together once again for yet another of the legendary parties. Hopefully with slightly less drama this time.

The Imperial Palace was quite a beautiful building, built over the waters of the Western Sea, the fresh, cool air blew in through the windows to the left side of the room. The right side of the room contained an area for dancing, and as always a booth was set up for the DJ to control the evening's music.

Attendants - both organic and droids - flitted about the room carrying drinks and food for the guests as they began to arrive. The sun was just beginning to set over the horizon, providing a beautiful view for any who wished to go out and see it.

For her part, Renfry was sitting up on the throne not because she wanted to lord over people but because no one was here yet and she wanted to give her ankles as much rest as possible before she got up to mingle. Her dress was a mix of black and red designed to be a bit looser than most of what she wore to allow more room for her by-now expanding belly.

As she bided her time to wait for the others, she munched on snacks, a mixture of peanut butter and fruits that she had brought for herself rather than something on the serving trays because that was entirely not sophisticated enough for a party.

Back to Serenno. Not Draugr's favorite planet but it had beautiful scenery. Mostly anywhere that Castle Wessex wasn't in sight. In fact if that building was destroyed the planet would be worth coming to more often. Thankfully the gathering was in a new place and Draugr would be here despite the "banning" from Artorigas. The Zabrak goes where he wants when he wants, and some rich boy that wants to play King isn't going to change that.

Entering the Palace Draugr was greeted by attendants and fellow Sith. Soldiers would salute and show respect and the lower ranked would greet him with respect. Something that has been growing for him as he continues to show Sith strength through the galaxy. What he has accomplished is only the beginning, as long as he has a place of leadership, the Sith will be strong. The Sith grow and become prosperous beyond measure. The planets with valued resources will be targeted and the Sith will move in and claim them for the glory of the Empire.

The Zabrak Sith Lord would be dressed accordingly for the Life Day party that is being held by the Empress herself. When finally reaching the room that held the members of the Sith ready to celebrate the holiday known as Life Day, Draugr would look for a window to admire the scenery from. Crossing the room and taking a glass of champagne from a tray held by a droid, the Zabrak found a balcony and would look out at the water as he would take a sip from the glass. Taking in all of his surroundings he would hear the music that was not his style, and the water around the palace crash against the rocks. The chatter of the people in the room.

"I hate parties.."

Eramis was indifferent about parties. She saw them as opprotunity to learn about potential rivals and threats to her Queen, but other than that, she didn't have much use with them. She was dressed accordingly, however, in a crimson colored dress that waved down right above the knee. Her hair was let down in beautiful waves that dropped to her shoulder blades, which was probably the strangest thing Eramis found as she was so used to keeping her hair up and out of her face.

It took the Dathomarian a while to change her mindset to the more relaxed setting. This wasn't a time to spy or deceive others- it was a time to celebrate. The Sith had grown so powerful in these last days and though Eramis didn't feel prideful, it should be a time to look at those past achievements with pride.

Eramis spotted Darth Draugr first before laying eyes upon her Queen. The red and black Zabrak Sith Lord looked very snazzy today, which Eramis found a little amusing. He had a bit of a barbaric personality and it almost didn't seem fitting for him to look so professional. What really caught Eramis' attention was...her Queen's appearance. Yes, she looked extravagant and queenly, but there was something else about her Eramis could sense. It wasn't familiar to Eramis, but she wanted to investigate further- maybe later, but she kept it on her to-do-list.

For now, she'd give Xeno a bit of attention before speaking to the Empress, overhearing Xeno mutter something about disliking parties.
"Is that because of recent events? If he shows up, I'll offer to dance with him, keep his back turned to you and then you...you know." She teased the Sith Lord with a smirk. Eramis was still a little tense about the fact that Renfry had taught him the ways of Shadow Magick, but after paying more attention to his career, Eramis thought that maybe, just maybe, he was worth teaching those secrets to.

"Or I can dance with you and keep you distracted. Which ever seems more appropriate at the time." She shrugged. Eramis shared his distaste for Artorigas after she had learned a bit about the self proclaimed King of Exegol, or whatever. There was only one Empress, and it wasn't him. "For now, I'd enjoy the quiet before the storm."

At a distance there was a limit to what Jade could observe about the local Serenno populace. They had some conservative, even feudalistic ways but in the acolyte Orcolan's mind she wondered how well they would stand up against Orsimer Prime. Hypothetical wars and battles were always on Jade's mind. The only reason she was coming to the life day party was to risk socializing by way of drinking and potential games. However she hoped nobody asked her to dance. Then again maybe she could think up a reason to start a fight or a moshpit.

For now, Jade lost sight of the Serenno landscape as it was replaced by the view of a castle. Her limousine, driven by a complimentary droid chauffer, touched down gently allowing the cleaned up Acolyte to exit the airspeeder. Not one for dresses, Jade instead wore a black classic suit and tie. Her large frame stood well over the roof of the vehicle she had just exited. Jade would straighten herself and clear up any creases and pulled her braided white hair over one shoulder before continuing towards the main event room.

Darth Draugr received his fair share of respects as others recognized him, including his new Orcolan apprentice. The Dathomiri witch was also familiar, having crossed paths with her on a few occasions. However this was a chance to meet with people she didn't know. One who certainly pulled attention was the ravishing Empress. From this distance she could smell peanut butter and her stomach growled in protest.

As a server passed by, Jade reached out and waved a muscular sleeve to catch their attention. "If you have any peanut butter in the kitchen bring some of it out. Like...a jar's worth." The alabaster skinned woman held her mighty hands apart in what was approximately a gallon in volume. "Um-... I-" Jade interrupted him by taking the tray out of his hands that was carrying pigs in a blanket. "Thanks for these. Bring back something different too." Her free hand was already plucking individual sausages with light buttery breading off the tray and putting them two at a time in her mouth. The server looked to intimidated to protest any further. The Orcolan would contently think violent thoughts as she fed but watched to see who else had arrived or was doing so presently.

Serenno, Senin never thought that he would return to this planet after what happened last time at Castle Wessex. On this day traumas were revisited and friendships were destroyed. Since then, the Acolyte really wanted to avoid this damned place and its inhabitants.

Even when the Empress announced that she was going to make a Life Day party on her castle on the planet, the G’weneen showed little interest for it. He still hated Serenno and after the invasion of Dantooine, Senin wasn’t in the mood for celebrations. In reality, nowadays he wasn’t in the mood for many things.

However, since it was a party organized by the Empress herself, he ended up deciding to go. Dressed in clothes for this type of event, the Acolyte arrived in the castle. It was a really impressive place, even more than Castle Wessex. He was greeted by some servants, but Senin barely looked at them.

Looking at the crowd that was gathered at the room, Senin saw the Empress in an elegant dress. This made him think that he never talked with her before, maybe he should do it later tonight. He also saw his Master in a corner. The Zabrak was really well dressed, their lessons about fashion were having results.

Deciding to talk with Xeno, Senin started to walk toward him. He would arrive on time to hear what a woman was saying to his Master. A smirk formed on his lips when he understood who she was talking about. “You should be careful when saying this type of thing about a noble on their own planet.Nunca se sabe quem vai estar ouvindo.” he said to the woman, his voice with the accent of G'wenee. Now that he was close, the Acolyte could identify her as a Dathomirian.

Turning to Xeno, the Acolyte would greet him with a nod “Mestre, it's good to see you there.” then he would look at the woman. “My name is Senin Ravelo. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” smiling at her, the young man would offer his hand for a shake. Today he wasn’t really caring about etiquette. “I think that we have never met before.

It didn’t take long for Jaikus to accept the offer of yet another party on Serenno. The gatherings were staying to become something of a legend amongst the Sith, and tonight represented a rare opportunity to attend a party that wasn’t being hosted at Castle Wessex – fond as the Axxilan might’ve been of that particular location.

The festive music was already playing as Jaikus strode into the ballroom of the Imperial palace, immediately handing off his long coat to the nearest attendant. Naturally, he went all out to dress for the occasion - dressed in a pair of
charcoal grey dress pants and crimson suit-vest, alongside a tight-fitting black button up just underneath. His dark hair was straightened and combed into place, while the air around him was lightly scented with his favorite cologne. As per usual, his outfit was accessorized with a stylish chrono and gold bracelet on his wrist.

Unlike some of his peers, Jaikus made an active attempt to get into the spirit of the season. Thus, the Axxilan sported a colorful and festive
Life Day hat atop his head – the fuzzy pom-pom gently bobbing around behind him as he walked.

Swiping a flute of champagne from a passing tray, Jaikus casually flicked his citrine eyes around the room – picking out the guests who had already arrived. Naturally, he spotted Renfry sitting upon her throne towards the center of the room – gaze briefly settling upon the noticeably-looser fitting dress for a brief moment, very clearly pregnant. The Axxilan tipped his glass towards the Empress from a distance, making a note to make his way towards the woman soon.

His gaze then gradually flicked across the room, settling upon the familiar sight of Xeno lingering near the balcony with another Dathomirian women, only for the Axxilan’s eyes to narrow significantly when he realized what the Zabrak was wearing.

What in the fuck..?

He blinked a few times, completely baffled by the horrific way the Sith Lord’s choice of attire. The Axxilan couldn’t help but stare for a few seconds, silently attempting to find some kind of logical reasoning as to why, of all the possible color combinations, the Zabrak had chosen the one that made it damn near impossible to tell where the suit ended and the man's skin began.

After a confused, semi-horrified staring, Jaikus reached into his back pocket and pulled out his datapad, subtly snapping a quick picture before proceeding sending it and a message to a particular half-Sephi. His attempts to convince his partner to attend the party were completely unsuccessful, but Jaikus could at least give the half-Sephi a play-by-play.

“We’ve offically topped the green tie..”

With that, Jaikus slid his datapad back into his pocket and glanced towards the Orcolan woman at the far side of the room – hauling around an entire tray of appetizers. He didn’t know the woman as of the moment, and he wasn’t particularly hungry, so his gaze did not linger – instead turning once more towards Renfry, opting to make his way in her direction.

Climbing the dais where the Empress was seated, Jaikus bent at the waist before the Dathomirian woman, his left arm sweeping out in front of him. “Empress,” He said smoothly. “You look absolutely radiant. Thank you for the gracious invitation,” A polite smile brushing across his features, citrine eyes once more briefly flicking towards her midsection. Jaikus tipped his glass towards her, his smile tugging a bit wider.

“And congratulations, by the way. You must be very happy about the baby.”

The last time Ashla had attended one of these things she had spent a great deal of time preparing for it, wasting a great deal of time trying to find the right outfit to make the best first impression. It had been her very first appearance in the Sith social circles, and she had been scared and naive. But since then she had learnt a great deal, including the simple fact that she didn't care what most of these people thought about her clothes, and the ones whose opinion she did care about likely had no interest in judging her on her appearance.

So she was wearing the same outfit as she had worn to the last celebration, having no interest in wasting more time and credits on getting another one when she had not even touched this ensemble since her last visit to Serenno. All she had done was swap out the t-shirt for a newer, more comfortable one, and added a festive hat to suit the occasion.

Whatever lingering worries she might have had about her clothes vanished when she arrived at the party and saw her least favorite Sith Lord dressed in what might as well have been a skin suit. An amused look on her face, she let her eyes wander around the gathering, till she spotted someone she knew and started making her way towards the Empress, where Jaikus was greeting her.

On the way she crossed a server walking past with a tray full of food and scooped up a few baby carrots as she meandered her way through the crowd towards her queries. "Your highness," she greeted Renfry upon reaching them, appearing much more composed and at ease in her presence than the nervous mess she had been on approaching her and Raze during the Halloween celebration, "thank you for the invite." Having spent time in the company of many a Sith Lord, and even gone into battle with the Empress, she was a lot less starstruck than she used to be. "And might I offer my congratulations," she smiled broadly and warmly, she liked kids, and seeing the Empress about to have one was something that made her genuinely happy "you must be so excited! I know you probably have an army at your beck and call, but if you ever need anything I'm at your service. I actually had to pose as a midwife's apprentice during one of my missions, and turns out the Ithorians have this remedy that does wonders for nausea and dizziness."

At that moment she realized that she had yet to greet Jaikus. She might have gained more composure, but she had not lost her tendency to get easily distracted, and she had done that by letting the good news distract her from social niceties. She might tag him on Switter all the time and pester him through the holonet, but that familiarity did not erase the fact that he was still a Champion, and besides it wasn't polite to not greet someone. "Sorry, I'm rambling," she said as she glanced at Jaikus with a smile and a nod, "looking sharp as always Champion Altaris. Though," she paused, noticing the flute in his hand and holding out a carrot for him, "you should have less of that and more of these. It has vitamin A, it's good for you." She herself didn't really know how carrots were good for anyone, but she had read it on one of the Emryc Thorne's vlog posts, and assumed it to be true.

After the theatrical events of the last party, Morgan had wandered off somewhere rather than stick around in the limelight. Considering that and a return to more behind-the-scenes work, mostly done remotely from a ship these days, the Firrerreo figured he might as well show up for Renfry's party on Serenno. It wasn't even Castle Wessex this time!

What fun.

Stolas was let in promptly by servants at the door, light fur-lined cloak taken and neatly hung for when he left. Surely to no one's surprise by now, he'd dressed appropriately for the holiday. A red patterned
robe-jacket over a green button-up, the colours matched nicely with his usual studs and a pair of dangling earrings, finely wrought into the shape of green holly leaves and their crimson berries. Golden rings in several styles glimmered across his fingers. A small gift-wrapped box was held in his left hand, the wrapping itself life-day themed with sleigh-deer and elves dancing across the white surface.

Although, today, it was a golden gaze that shined most. In his summer eyes, warm infinities of intellect and playful mischief. On his lips, a smile as natural and hungry as the sun. Loose-limbed and silkily swaggering, Morgan slipped smoothly into the room and around a pair of conversing military men with a passing greeting on his way to further groups. In his wake, the scents of mixed herbs and bright citrus followed carried on skin and in soft strands of black hair.

Goldens passed briefly over the others present. Draugr was doing his best to blend himself and his suit into one image that reminded Morgan of an abstract painting he'd seen once, although it was certainly an improvement over the previous attempts. Senin had joined him, naturally, along with a pair of others. Dark brows rose slightly on sight of a tall Orcolan in a suit, then dropped a little as Morgan took in the rest of her. She and the much smaller Dathomiri were unfamiliar to him.

Fine black dress boots carried the Firrerreo off to greet the host- Renfry was usually one of the first anyway. Morgan stopped before the throne, catching the obvious smells of peanut butter and fruit.
"Empress Andruil," he greeted amicably with a small dip of his head, still keeping to her other names and titles in more formal settings. "Your taste in home design is as classy and well-thought as your dresses. As always." At which point he offered forward the small box. It was a Life Day party, after all. "Congratulations." He'd have to be blind not to notice Renfry's physical state.

Goldens glanced over toward Jaikus, a small smirk forming. Emryc wasn't here, which probably meant he'd defiantly glued himself to a couch somewhere.
"Wallflower. Still making vests look good, I see." His smirk widened, then vanished as he noted Ashla. "Ashla," was the basic formal-setting greeting she got, given her ranking. Better than some. Stolas didn't usually ignore acolytes.

He looked between her and Jaikus a moment.
"Nice hats. Ears are a nice touch." Then to Renfry. "No hat for you?" All the better, considered one of the two things in the box.

The halls of Castle Wessex, had echoed as he left, the walls bare, were once countless weapons and arms sat now only the bare stonework of the old fortress. It was bittersweet but necessary, his own time was done upon this planet, his mind and body was taken up in Avillion upon the other side of Sith Space, to travel back here so often was counter productive even if it was the defacto capital of the Empire, with Darth Stolas, himself and the Empress all having housing upon the planet. There were other reasons to remove himself from the planet but he tried not to dwell to much on it. Artorigas had originally chosen to leave the planet the previous day, but the summons of the Empress had delayed his stay. He was here on the planet so he might as well attend the celebration before departing.

The private shuttle slowly dipped down from the sky landing upon one of the landing pad's, a servant rushed from nowhere to open the door for the Imperial Councillor. He wore a
simple black tux, with a black velvet jacket, his bow tie was loose and the top button undone. He stepped from the shuttle a box of handmade chocolates in one hand, one was a gift for the hostess, the other a open and half drunk bottle of Serennian wine.

The servant bowed his head as Artorigas passed and made his way towards the main hall. He passed through the immaculate internal gardens, the fragrant flowers filling his nose with essences that reminded him of childhood on this very planet. Taking another long swig of the open bottle he passed through the endless hordes of servants, soldiers and low ranking Sith, people bowed and greeted him as he past. No longer the shy young man hiding his identity as a Sith behind a mask, he had grown in confidence, power and fame.

The room opened up from the doorway, music played, it was perhaps a little too upbeat for his current mood but he would endure and the alcohol would help. Scanning the room, like always the early gathers had slipped into two tight knit bunches, one as expected gathered around the Empress the other around Xeno. Artorigas smiled, he did not have the energy tonight to show any anger to the Zabrak nor did he have the energy to speak to the man. The gathering around the Empress was equally unappetising for him at the moment so he passed the gift to a nearby servant telling him to deliver it to the pregnant Empress and turned to find a large glass to pour the remaining contents of the bottle.

Throwing the empty container towards a nearby server who nearly dropped it, he turned to the room. If he caught the Empress' eye he would raise a glass otherwise he would just drain it.

Eramis turned to meet Senin's gaze and smiled a bit more warmly at his words. "Oh, I know. I just don't care too much." She said, rather happily. Then, the man introduced himself and offered to shake her hand. Eramis took and held her friendly smile. "I'm Eramis. Nice to meet you Senin Ravelo." Eramis knew the name, but not the face. Senin had been mentioned a few times in conversations she over heard to which she found that he was Xeno's protégé.

Just then, her ears perked when she heard the other guests congratulate the Empress on her... Child! She was going to bear a child! Eramis blinked twicce as she gazed at her leader with surprise. Surely it was a welcome one- especially on such a holiday.

Then, Eramis began spiraling as she gazed at the others who were attending the gathering. There had to be someone who thought of using her child against her- a way to steal the seat of Empress. Who would it be first to think those treasonous thoughts?

Eramis then had to force herself to stop assuming the worst in everyone at the party. Besides, Renfry was perfectly capable of handling herself without any of the other's assistance. But she was vulnerable now, nonetheless, and Eramis promised that she's protect her Queen till her last dying breath.

Turning back to the other two, Eramis spotted Lord Artorigas himself and she lost her smile, yet her expression remained subtle and contempt.

"Speak of the devil..." She muttered under her breath so only the other two could here. The Nightsister faced Senin again, "Flint and steel make fire. Luckily I know cryokinesis." She giggled.

It was approximately thirty full seconds of peace before a voice had come to ruin the Sith Lords time alone. So much for that.. A familiar face of one of the Nightsisters had arrived next to him as she continued to make smart ass remarks. The Acolyte was lucky Draugr was not in the mood to kill a meaningless life tonight. Instead he ignored the comment and heard another familiar voice arrive behind him.

"Good to see one of my apprentices have arrived."

Draugr would turn around with a straight face. Neither mad nor happy. Just neutral, he was not keen on seeing all of the faces who had watched him fail to kill Artorigas. It was a fight he could have won when he looked back on it, but at least Artorigas had not won. The Zabrak took a look around the room to see multiple eyes look to his suit with judgement. The Lord would just look back with a glare to show they were being disrespectful.

"Senin, Eramis. Enjoy the party, I am going to try the eggnog."

The red and black Zabrak made his way to the table with the beverages and passed by his new apprentice Jade. As he passed by he would stop for only a second before looking to her and making a quick statement.

"Remember to save some for the other guests. We have the Council Members in attendance tonight. I would like for my apprentices to be on their best behavior. With that said, please also enjoy yourself. It is a holiday after all."

After he would make his statement to his apprentice he would give her a nod as he looked up at the seven foot Orc. A pat on the outer bicep of the Orc woman would seal his exit to the beverages table. The eggnog was set right next to the chocolate fountain. On the other side was all of the makings for things to be dipped in the chocolate fountain, such as marshmallows, pretzels, a plethora of berries and more. Although the snacks looked good, it reminded him of the night his former master had made food with him. It was still too soon to bear the thought..

Grabbing a cup of the eggnog served by an attendant, he would turn around to see the Serennian Artorigas. Of course he was here.. though it would not be tonight that Draugr causes a scene. Leave that for the noble idiot. Aside from Artorigas' presence, there was the likes of Ashla of who had been upset with the Sith Lord since Ploo. It was a fair reason but she can learn to get over it. If not, then trial by combat still exists, let her try to deal with the problem head on face to face.

Next was Darth Stolas, a well accomplished, and well respected Sith Councilor. Smaller stature but far more powerful than most. The one person who does outpower him though, was the Empress herself. Queen of Dathomir. Who now seems to be carrying a child inside of her. Draugr would make his way over to congratulate his Queen when there isn't such a large crowd of individuals around her. Plus, he isn't very fond of carrots.

Telo had never being to Serenno before, he’d heard it was a beautiful well cultured planet vastly different from the gambling world of Nal Hutta where he was raised. To add to the list of nevers, he hadn’t attended a Sith party before, he pondered how it would work many Sith he met we’re often miserable on very serious. It often felt strange to Telo that people from a group that wished for nothing more than ultimate power, had no intention of enjoying the power they had achieved. Telo was a somewhat foolish man, hope to feast on both wealth and power. Though for now he had neither.

“Booop, boop.” Rung out the orange and floating droid behind the man “Thank you B-10, yes I think it looks good as well.” The young Sith stood in front of a mirror on his shit, looking at the attire he wore. Black high wasted trousers with a black leather belt, slightly heeled black boots and a pale green shirt with black trimming that went well with his pale skin. He did have his utility belt that hung under the tucked shirt, with his weapons though he had no intention of using them you could never know what would happen.

“Beeepp, boop, beeepp?” Telo shook his head in response to the droid “No you can’t come, stay here and look after the ship.” He said with a chuckle as he pulled a crate beneath his arm that clinked with every step, inside the box was a bottles of wines made in Nal Hutta the finest that the moon could muster. They we’re emerald in colour and often quite a party piece, it seemed fair that he’d at least bring a gift. After all it was life day.

After some time he had made his way to the imperial palace and was led by the attendants, they didn’t seem to pay much mind to Telo he was after all not very imposing, his soft features often made people underestimate him and he preferred that.

As he entered the function room the attendant took his gift and placed it where all the other gifts would go, he was offered a glass of something fizzy and a selection of canopies. He ate it in one bite and held the glass against taking a small sip as he looked around the room taking everyone in there was a few people he recognized, though didn’t know all too well.

He was surprised to find himself in the imperial palace itself and celebrating life day with The Empress herself, it was quite a lot to take in. He would approach the empress eventually, but he all of a sudden felt quite shy. ‘How embarrassing, a sith champion squirming over a social situation’ he thought to himself.

Others had begun to arrive to the party, and Renfry took that as her cue to stop stuffing her face with peanut buttery fruits and to actually get up and start mingling. A small bunching gathered together around Lord Draugr, but the first person to come speak to her as she got up and started descending the steps was Jaikus.

You're too kind, Jaikus, she said, smiling warmly at the compliments he gave her. She was pregnant and she was fairly certain he was just being polite, but it was nice to hear whether it was true or not.

So excited! she said, the words bleeding through in her demeanor as well as her words. While she had a warm smile on her face for the compliments, to the observant there was no question that her face lit up a little brighter and the mention of the baby. Her... condition had been less than ideal, but she was always heartened when she thought of what it would yield. A true glow that few saw swept over her for a brief moment before she seemed to restrain it a bit.

I like your hat, she said, looking up at the festive cap that covered his head. It was quite appropriate and probably something she should have thought of as well. Well, perhaps one would find its way onto her head by the time the evening was over. She was hardly going to worry about it.

Moments later an Acolyte approached, and though they had met before, if she were honest the young woman's name escaped her memory. Nevertheless, the offer she made actually might be worth it.

I might take you up on that offer of a remedy. Or at least the formula, she said. I'll leave it to say that it would be very useful to me, she said. The morning sickness had been rather brutal and the nausea hadn't been limited to just the mornings.

Morgan came in next and the room began to fill with passerbys. Attendants made their way up to the members of each of the groups, offering food and drink for those who would take it.

Thank you, Stolas, she said with a smile. Her hand absentmindedly went to and brushed along her belly for a moment before dropping back to her side. A habit she needed to break. It had been some time since the two had seen each other, but it was nice to see him nonetheless.

Yeah, I probably should have worn one but... to be honest, I didn't think of it, she said with a shrug. Maybe later or maybe next year, she said.

She spotted Artorigas enter from across the room, vaguely sensing that his mood seemed... less than stellar. She smiled and nodded in his direction, but he seemed intent on keeping his distance and instead making quick business with his glass of wine.

Normally Tiamat absolutely despised these socials; often times convincing herself it would be fun if she went, and then not having much fun at all. The pervious social was a disaster, leading to a trail of confusion, mistrust, and a loss of whatever respect she seemed to hold for herself (though probably more a pattern than she realizes). The fragile pieces of her ego were quickly swept up by the spirits, broken further and distorted, it was hard for the redhead to not feel entirely defeated as she latched on to the things that were most important. Regardless of her cursed fate, what made her decide to join this social in particular was just the fact: Tiamat loves Life Day.

The smells, the songs, the cheesy Life Day Holo's on the Allmarks station, and the sweets. She had understood fairly quickly Life Day was often frowned upon by some Sith; clearly celebrating the love and kindness to one being to another never sat well into the ideals, but Tiamat didn't care. Her own home and even her lab was very festive and her assistants and employees were welcome to bring their own Life Day traditions to share. There was also a Life Day tree in every room of her home, three different ones in just her office at Asteria Industries, and her ship also had a tiny one that could fit at least one light and ornament on it. Her droid wasn't too keen about wearing a little hat, but she was glad she was able to convince the droids at the Lab to at least tell everyone Happy Life Day.

Tiamat arrived to the Empress' palace where the party was being held, watching as other Sith and Imperials entered the palace. She wore a bright crimson A-line gown, sleeveless and shoulders bare, letting her red hair loosely curled, fall freely along her backside. The dress itself was ornate, gold embroidery stitched in holiday florals throughout the corset and tapering down the skirt of the gown. This time she decide to wear jewelry, something she didn't do often, but she was certainly loving how she looked.

When she entered the hall where everyone was gathered, she was quickly recognized many faces. Her blue eyes scanned quickly noting who she picked out quickly as she walked further into the hall, only pausing to grab herself a glass of red wine and quickly taking a drink. There was Cael, and Stolas, some new faces, and the Empress....of whom Tiamat had to do a double take noting the obvious pregnancy. She felt her mind blank for a moment, questions suddenly swirling as to how long, who was the father of the child, and well, she didn't think it was that long ago that she had seen Renfry. She felt something like that would be shared from a friend before now. Quickly, Tiamat finished the glass of wine, setting down the empty glass on a tray from a specific server who seemed to know she would be ready for another glass.

Nevan stood infront of the gigantic regal palace, his arms by his side and his mouth agape. His time with the Sith so far had been largely, mind numbingly dull. The transition from everyday being a frenzy of debaucherous chaos, crime and carnal pleasure to studying and sparring had been... rough for him. The Sith were not exactly renowned for being party animals so imagine his surprise upon learning that they were actually having one. The young Zeltron had been stood outside the palace for about 5 minutes, taking it all in while visibly vibrating with excitement.

He was knocked out of his stunned stupor by another guest accidentally brushing his shoulder as they walked past. He took a deep breath and began walking towards the doors. Nevan had dressed for the occasion too in a lacy short sleeved shirt which was unbuttoned to his mid-rift to show off his body and tattoos, accompanied by metallic jewellery resembling claws and an intricate metal harness underneath. Typical party attire. Atleast, it was typical back home. Compared to the others he'd seen arriving he might have - literally - underdressed.

Not only was he excited to FINALLY get to party he was also excited to see some of his fellow Sith let their hair, horns or other headborne appendage down and have some fun for once. And, to make some friends. He hadn't spoken to many of the other Acolytes. He didnt really know how to approach them when they all wore black and stomped around with scowls on their faces that could shatter mirrors and imagined they'd be much more palattable and talkative with a drink in their hands and a smile on their face.

The first thing he noticed upon arriving were the well dressed servants and waiters walking around with trays of drinks and snacks. He walked quickly up to one carrying a collection of champagne flutes and got their attention "So these are just free? I can just take them?" The servant seemed taken aback but nodded. Nevan's face lit up and he affectionately squeezed the man on his cheek. "You and me are going to be VERY good friends this evening." And with the other hand he took two champagne flutes, holding them between his front three fingers. He then approached another servant, who was carrying some form of Samosas and took two of those as well and winked at her.

Happy as a nerf in shit, Nevan began to scan the room. It was nothing like the party's he was used too, for one, everyone was wearing about 60% too much. And the music wasn't so loud that he could feel it making his heart beat out of tune and he imagined that asking any of these people if they had any spice would probably get him in atleast a small degree of trouble. His gaze moved from the venue to the actual guests.

Lo and Behold, his theory was correct. Atleast half of them seemed positively elated. He decided that the other half must still just be sober. Taking a sip from one of his two drinks he noticed that most of the guests were either gathering around their hostess and empress like sycophantic wasps on something sweet, who looked surprisingly fat for the leader of the Sith - the concept of her being pregnant eluding him entirely - or they were standing stoicly in the corners like Losers. And then he realised that he was doing that too and felt an almost violent need to move and speak to someone.

A few guests caught his eye - from the Zabrak who was dressed as a rash to the man with the wine who was drinking it wrong they all seemed fascinating but one woman in particular drew his attention almost immediately.

Nevan approached the huge Orc woman, with an entire tray of snacks in her hands. "I like your style!" He then looked at his measly two drinks and single snack and frowned momentarily. "I wish i'd known i could've just taken the bottle - you definitely know how it's done." He sipped from one of his flutes and grinned.

Senin shook Eramis' hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” he never heard about her before. She probably was one of these new acolytes, young blood for their ancient Order. Perhaps, they could be allies. At least she also seems to dislike Artorigas. They have it in common.

Mestre, I would never miss a party.” Senin said to Xeno. It was an obvious lie, he really wasn’t in the mood for one today. “I really like your clothes, Mestre.” he was so proud of Xeno. The Zabrak was finally learning how to dress! However, he still needs to learn how to choose the colors.

At this moment he heard some guests giving congratulations to the Empress. Only now he noticed that she seemed to be fat. Since he doesn’t believe that they were saying it because she had gained weight, the only other explanation was that she was probably pregnant. Good for her, later he would also congratulate the woman.

Then Eramis mentioned that Artorigas had arrived. Senin turned to see the man and smirked with the vision. The Darth was in a corner, looking like a wounded dog. The Acolyte felt a bit of pity for him, only a bit. Because it was soon replaced with pleasure. Seeing the other this way gave the young man some satisfaction. Maybe it was his Life Day gift.

After Xeno went to find eggnog, a beverage that Senin hated, the Acolyte decided to look around the party. After he saw Artorigas, the G’weneen felt more excited for the party. “I’ll try to find a drink.” he said to Eramis, before walking away.

While he walked around, Senin saw Jade, his Master’s new apprentice. The Acolyte was still uncertain about her. He knew that Xeno would replace him if the G’weneen showed any signal of weakness. What happened in Dantooine was a shame from his part, one that would not happen again. Picking a glass of Emerald wine from a passing servant. He walked toward the Orcolan.

Hey, Jade! How are you?” his arrival would disturb the conversation between her and a male Zeltron. He would look at the pink-skinned man, his shirt and the tattoos were a really nice combination. The guy also had a pretty face. Suddenly the party became more interesting. “Hello, my name is Senin Ravelo.” smiling at the Zeltron, Senin offered his hand. "I loved your tattoos. Elas são tão maneiras!" he would say, using the language of his homeworld G'wenee.

Draugr awaited to see who else would arrive and when he noticed the red haired Lady from a couple socials ago, he felt like a reintroduction would be fit. They only spoke once and it was not the most fluid of conversations, so now is his chance to make a new first impression. The Zabrakian Dathomiri would grab another glass of the eggnog and then one for Lady Tiamat as well.

Walking toward her he remembered she wasn't very fond of him last time around, but he figured it was because he was new and also much more of an asshole than now. Becoming a Lord and losing an arm and a leg had really taught him a lot of who he was and who he wants to be. So now he would put a smile to his face and stand next to the red haired Lady Tiamat.

"M'lady, may I offer you a drink? It's really good stuff."

He would hold the glass of eggnog in front of her but only extending the glass halfway out, allowing her some space, and room to reach for it if she truly wanted it. Manners were in order for parties such as this one. Plus the last time he showed any sort of disrespect to a Lord he was sent out of a window or ended up in a duel to the death. Not really looking for bad blood tonight. A new friend would be nice, though not many people are fond of befriending the red and black, horned Sith Lord.

"You look eloquent tonight, I love the color."

Morgan smoothly dismissed offers of elegant flutes of champagne- it may as well be juice- and asked for spiced brandy in its place. Firrerreon fortitude and metablism meant standard wines lacked much punch. As for pregnancy problems, well....

He had only an academic knowledge, let's put it that way, and no advice was offered. If there was some troublesome person she didn't feel like handling in her state she knew who to call.

Slender fingers brushed carefully through Morgan's black hair, head tilting ever so slightly leftward.
"It's a Life Day event, after all," was his reply to Renfry's thanks, motioning encouraging toward the box. Inside was a knit hat, green with stripes of red and white. At its conical end was a large and particularly poof of fluff, while around the brim it displayed a gold-tone wool crown. Beneath it lay a pendant.

Dangling from a delicate aurodium chain, an oval of crimson Kyber shone in its portrait rim of electrum. With the Empress' knowledge of esoteric arts she should immediately recognize it as man-made rather than natural, the crystal structure so minute as to be sleekly smooth. On its own, merely monetary in value. Paired with magic, however, it could be much more. An alchemical trick of his family in addition to a quiet show of support for her rule thus far.

Golden eyes turned to look at the rest of the room. People were filing in one after the other and more than one caught Morgan's attention. Tiamat was here, keeping mostly to herself as she'd done every single time he'd seen her at a party. His gaze passed over to Artorigas- and Morgan frowned, watching his interaction with the servants.

"Jaikus. I'm cashing in that dance," he steadfastly announced, crooking a finger toward the Axxilan man, nodding toward Renfry, and stepping off. Directly toward Artorigas. On the way, he carefully snatched the Lord's box of chocolates from a servant's hands and shooed them off to find good wine. Once he'd he'd Artorigas he handed Artorigas book forward back toward himself- or if he refused to take it, planted it on a nearby table featuring a decorative collection of Dathomirian flowers.

"None of that. Go yourself," Morgan said, cocking his head in Andruil's direction. Seeing Caelestis brooding by himself was frustrating in and of itself, but delivering a gift by servant when he was meters away? Bah! Half-hearted affection was the coward's way out. Of course, nothing was stopping him from just handing it back to another servant after the Firrerreo left.

However, his own most recent relationship had failed partly due to terrible communication. A little outside pressure could go a long way. Renfry was the type to pry, but it was easier if the one stuck in his thoughts walked up to her himself.

Without another word, Morgan stepped off toward the dance floor- ideally with his debtor in tow. Interest was due and a grin was alight on the Councilor's face, razor fangs flashing. Internally he was also curious- how well could Draugr dance? He'd never seen the man so much as try.

The gift and the glass of wine had barley begun their journey when Stolas came from the Dais to abruptly stop the pair. He gritted his jaw at the Firrerreon's comment, the golden eyed man tried to hand the parcel back but Artorigas did not move. He wanted to be angry, annoyed at the man at something, but he did not have the energy to bring the emotion to the surface. So he stood still, unflinching, though as his fellow Dark Councillor placed the box on the table next to him he spoke. "I wished not to crowd her, that is all."

It was an excuse buried in some truth, but an excuse none the less. Artorigas watched the man walk off to the dance floor, it appeared as if the Jaikus was due to have another Sith Lord dancing all night long tonight. Looking towards the now more empty dais, he realised that his excuse was now no longer valid with only the Togruta standing with the Empress, sighing to himself he lifted the glass of wine, letting half of its contents in to do battle with his battered liver. Placing the glass down on the table, exchanging it for the box. Eyeing up the servant who had replaced the one now looking for wine. "Guard this with your life."

With the help now thoroughly sweating over the safety of a half full glass of wine, Artorigas headed towards the Dais. The grouping around Xeno had branched out, the aforementioned now Sith Lord heading towards Tiamat, poor women didn't know what she was in for. Artorigas assumed a half hour lecture about each of his battle wounds, how he had earned them, how many real or make believe Jedi he had killed during the fight and that he had done it all for the Sith and not for himself. Pulling his blurry and tired eyes away from the pair he reached the top of the Dais giving a light bow of his head as he reached the summit. "Your Majesty. Thank you for the invitation."

"Ashla, obeying the dress code this time?"
He said with a smirk before turning back to the Empress. "Congratulations," He continued motioning towards the bump. "I wish you and the baby good health. My mother always told to never go to a party without a gift." Artorigas said holding out the box of handmade chocolates in his hand.

Cairo had never celebrated Life Day before. His mother had never once done it - though they had begged, stolen, and conned at many a Life Day street festival. The day brought up those mixed feelings for him: Feelings of jealousy towards those who hadn't been raised by a conniving street performer, feelings of love towards his strange upbringing, feelings of shame for being where is now rather than on the rusted ship he once called home. He hoped to drown out those feelings with his first real Life Day party. What little he knew about the traditional celebration of the holiday was more than supplanted by his love of a good party.

He wore what was a relatively casual outfit compared to many of the Sith. A white t-shirt with a matching cardigan covered his torso, his long, blue tattoos flowing through the folds of his sweater to his wrists, while flared green pants and thick, black boots adorned his lower half. A gift for himself, with the stipend he had gained while in service with the Sith. Along with a couple of side hustles, of course...part of him was still a conman at heart.

So many of the Sith were so old (i.e., not 16), but there were a smattering of young ones he assumed to be acolytes here and there. And the Empress herself was in attendance. He felt relieved that she was occupied by other guests; he had no idea what kind of introduction he could make to a woman so powerful. Meeting his own master, Charlotte, he had opted to be an annoying brat, but he knew there was a galaxy of difference between Darth Andruil's power and his own. Plus, no sense in being rude and ruining the party. He heard that happened at a lot of these Sith gatherings.

He spotted two near-humans who looked about his age chatting, wearing outfits that made his look pedestrian. He approached Senin and Nevan with a smile, lifting a flute of champagne from a tray as he did. He offered his free hand to shake. "What's good, y'all." His voice was quiet, bordering on timid, but he found his confidence with his next statement. "I'm Cairo. Do either of y'all dance? Feels like the music's calling me to the floor, you know?"
Of course, he'd be happy to dance alone; it was a natural, almost therapeutic, form of exercise. But, it could also be a way to make some new friends.
