I replied to Master Volitu's instruction with complete understanding. I had elected to walk back to the Great Hall rather than take an aircab. I did not need to clear my mind of the special mission the Sith Master gave me, but rather I wanted to see the capital city in all its glory. I was still not accutomed to all the extravagant building designs or the masses of people that inhabited a city; I was a villiage girl and until I had been taken into the Sith Order, I never saw anything like this before except on the Sith homeworld.

I walked passed several vendors selling this and that but since I needed nothing they were selling, I just glanced at thier merchandise as I strolled past. As I drew close to the HQ of the Imperial Empire, marked by the flags that dnagled from their poles and guarded by heavly armed soldiers, I felt a tug in my mind and new that Avreet was close by. I wondered if Master Volitu had sent him on a special mission as well. I enetered the building unstopped and made my way to the turbolift that would take me down to the armoury. I heard that several Sith used some sort of battle armour when they were going into a dangerous situation or great battle, and since I was not eager to throw my life away, I decided that I would at least wear something; but what?

Avreet nodded toward me and I gave him a smile and entered the turboloft.. When he spoke of armour, I said, "I was on my way down to check the armoury and see what I could use for the mission. Nothing to fancy yet protective, nothing to encumbersome yet grants me mobility." As the turbolift doors open, I almost reached out and pulled him back to tell him about what I had just accomplished. The thrill and excitment of it was overwhelming but I knew my friend would not approve of these emotions so I let him go and bid him a farewell and headed toward the armoury.

The following day, after making all the daily preperations, I moved from my room and through the Force, scanned for Avreet and Master Volitu. I found them and allowing the Force to guide me to them, I walked through the corridors wondering what today would bring? I found them both already and as I entered the room where they were, I greeted Avreet with a friendly hello then I greeted Master Volitu with the same pleasentry and felt her eyes smiling on me.

Grima arose early, meditated for a couple of hours, then readied herself for the days events. They would go into the "belly of the beast" and slay these rogues that have been plaguing the citizens of Shilli. She found her self at odds with herself since returning to her home planet, she began to feel that she was abandoning her views on almost everything but she knew, revenge any in form, needed to be carried out against the two remaining Councilman. And though at first she felt some sort of connection to her people, wanting to protect them from the horrors, she began to realize that these Togrutas and her had nothing in common. And because they had nothing in common, she began to feel disconnected from them and as she stepped through the thresh hold exiting her room; she understood she did not care about them. She was Sith and they were nothing to her. However, she would complete the mission for the Empire, not for the citizens of Shilli.

Grima entered the planning room as she waited for the other two to arrive. She glanced through the numerous reports that involved the attacks, the raids, and the killings. Grima shook her head at how far the G.A. and the torn Jedi Order had fallen, resorting to using diabolical tactics to mask their own weaknessess. Grima looked up as she felt her Apprentice. The doors opened up and the Mon Calamari, Avreet, entered the room and greeted her. "Avreet, how are enjoying Shilli?" The doors opened up again and Yr'il entered the room and Sith Master and Acolyte exchanged greetings.

And once more, the doors opened up and the Ambassador entered the room followed by the two remaining Councilman. The Ambassador explained that Councilman Zille had been killed in what had appeared to be some sort of back room deal gone wrong. Grima feinged concern for the loss of the Councilman then turned to Avreet and said, The Ambassador and you went over the details of these attacks so Apprentice, I will let you explain how our mission will commence. Afterall, you are close to promotion and it is time for you to lead. I will join the mission, naturally, as an observer and I believe that both Councilman Ghitte and Shikke should also join us since, afterall, this is their planet. Grima spat the word "their" with contempt and hatred.

The two Councliman exchanged looks and Councilman Ghitte began to protest but was cut off by the Ambassador you said it was an excellent idea squashing any chance for the two Councilman to protest. "Then Councilman, I suggest you pay close attention to what my Apprentice has to say. It would be most unfortunate if some sort of diaster was to befall you two," Grima said with a hint of satisifaction in her voice. She had manipulated the Ambassador's mind via the Force the second he entered the room and used him to get what she wanted more than anything, a chance to kill these two Councilman. Grima would now have both these Councilors on the mission and she knew they would not return.

"Very much, Master," the boy replied to the Sith Master's question. "The planet needed the Empire as a salt, though." That may have been a bit too honest of an answer, but Avreet felt that way. The planet was like a very rough diamond, and the Empire would shape it into a flawless piece of art, adding another jewel to it's growing collection. Wondering if his Master agreed, knowing she grew up on the planet, he looked into her eyes with an unsaid question, the connection between them no longer requiring talking for communication, and the connection was not entirely based on telepathy. The Mon Cal teenager however had no chance of hearing his Master's opinion on that subject, as the white haired Acolyte entered the room as well, greeting both Sith, getting their attention. "Hello, Yr'il," Avreet smiled at her, but his expression quickly changed to the typical neutral as the door opened once again.

The ambassador shared the shocking news, councilman Zillo had been killed last night. From what the man said, it looked like he had been involved in some shady dealings, but it still made Avreet frown. He went into the city last night, if he had extended his senses, he might have saved the man. This was a blow to Shili, but on the bright side, the Empire could put an Imperial on his place and gain more influence, resulting in more effective changes on the planet, which was not an entirely bad thing. In fact, it was a very good thing, although Avreet would have preferred Zille to live.

Grima did not waste time and skipped to the mission. Widely opening his larbe bulbolous eyes in surprise for a second and silently gasping, his training and calm personality quickly took over again. While pleased his Master had enough confidence in him to speak of a near promotion in front of all these people, she also gave him a task he was not prepared for. Planning and leading the whole operation. The Imperial blood in him felt great honour at being assigned such a task, so he nodded. What he did not understand at all was why Master Volitu wanted the remaining councilmen going with them. Battlefield was no place for civilians, the chance of them dying was way too high. Then again, maybe that was the Togruta's plan, to expand the Imperial influence on her homeworld, and if so, Avreet trusted she knew what she was doing.

The boy took a deep breath before he started explaining his plan, "The forest the enemies are hiding in is completely surrounded by heavily armed Imperial troops. It is expected the hostiles have anti-air weapons, so it is impossible for us to drop directly onto the Temple from a ship. The Temple itself is expected to be heavily fortified, so the ambassador here cannot send our soldiers there without turning into slaughter for our men. My plan is to go in a small team of," Avreet looked at the Togruta, then at the councilmen, "Five?! Thanks to our, eh, Sith training, we should be able to fight our way into the Temple, eliminate the Jedi, take whatever they're looking for, and give a signal to the Imperial forces to start advancing. The Alliance dogs willl be trapped between three Sith,...two councilmen, and about a thousand Imperials. Our attack will cause a confusion in the enemy ranks, making it easier for our men, minimalising the casualties on our side. If we destroy any potential anti-air weapons, we could even call in a starfighter support."

The Mon Calamari stared at councilmen a while before continuing, "Councilmen, you have a great chance of becoming heroes of your people. You can stay in the back and let us deal with things, but if you bravely fight for the planet, you will be rewarded with a title Hero of the New Sith Imperium. Your entire race will remember you forever!" he lied, knowing that two heroic Togrutas would have been a thorn in the Empire's presence on the planet. Avreet was finished, satisfied with his plan. The councilmen though, looked quite unhappy. Avreet had nothing more to say, so after everyone had gotten everything they needed, be it an equipment or a cup of tea, the five individuals boarded a transport that took them to the place.

It turned out it used to be a village before the Alliance forces massacred everyone. The Imperials were everywhere, guarging the edge of the thick forest, but Avreet's sight was drawn to something else. From the transport, it looked like a small mountain, but when he got a better look at it, he saw it was nothing else than a huge pile of bodies. Men, women, children, babies. All slaughtered by the vengeful Alliance. The Acolyte's stomach curled and he barely made it to the nearest bushes before vomiting. He had seen many dead bodies in his life, creating most of them himself, but he had never seen so many of them in one place, and of innocent civilians on the top of that. The Mon Calamari wanted to cry, but the Sith training took over and he just wiped out the few tears forming in his eyes, not wanting to look weak. "Alright," he decisively nodded, gaze hardened with determination, "Let's show them how the Empire deals with monsters."

When I heard the death of the Councilman, I knew Master Volitu, already knowing the outcome from last night, would sieze the oppurtunity to draw the other two out. but even I was surprised when the Sith Master said that the other two would be joining us. I knew at that instance, they would not be making the return trip and again I wondered, would Master Volitu call upon me once again to slay one or both; or would she have her own Apprentice dirty his hands. The Ambassador agreed with the Togruta Sith Master and my thoughts were confirmed. Master Volitu had been planning this since we left the Sith world; Master Volitu was indeed a treacherous Sith.

I now turned my full attention to Avreet, whom Master Volitu had now assisgned as the Operation Commander. I had confidence in Avreet and his ability to lead us to victory and as he laid out his ploan for us, I smiled at him letting him know he planned this well. On the transport, I sought out Avreet and when he and I were alone, I said, "It was I, at the word of Master Volitu that killed the Councilman. There seems to be some sort of history between her and the Councilman. I thought you should know since you and I are friends, and such as, there should never be any secrets between us." I turned away and heading toward the cargo bay to make myself ready for departure from the transport.

I stepped out of the transport and I saw that the forest was both serene and breath-taking. As I stood looking at the sights but keeping my senses on high alert, I spotted Avreet walk toward some sort of small hill or mountain. I began walking toward him and saw that it was nothing nature=based, but it was a pile of dead bodies. I knelt down to check some of the dead and stood up, anger rising. "Some of the bodies show signs of torture," I spoke pointing to one of the dead children, "and I would hate to think what happened to the females."

I turned from the atrocity, closed my eyes, and let my anger fill my passion. Today there will be more death, and today I will play the role of executioner.

Sith Master Grima Volitu sat on the cargo bay's floor, legs crossed, in a meditation state. She played in her mind the plan her Apprentice had put together and she knew it was more than a sound plan, it was a well thought out plan and she was pleased at how far her Apprentice was growing. She also sensed the two Councilman, who were now dressed in armour, and invaded their minds. She did not need the Force to know their thoughts were occupied with nothing more than fear but she invaded their thoughts none the less. They were confused why Grima wanted them to join the mission but even more confused as to why the Ambassador would agree to such nonsense. Grima mentally smiled.

Releasing her hold on their minds, she snapped open her eyes when she felt the transport first slow down then come to a stop. Avreet was the first out of the transport followed by Y'ril then the two Councilman. Grima rose to her feet, adjusted her cloak and exited the transport herself. She looked toward the edge of the forest and moved toward it. She saw both her Apprentice and Yr'il stop and examine the pile of dead Togrutas and with a finger pointing at it, she said to the two Councilman, "I am going to assume you two knew nothing of the atrocities taking place outside the comforts of your capital city. Your duty as Councilors are to oversee the protection and growth of your people but perhaps it is something else more....profitable that has won your hearts and repleaced that with the care of your people."

Grima walked away from the two Councilman so she would not have to listen to their excuses or feeble attempts to soothe your growing anger with them. At the edge of the forest, she scanned the area through the Force and finding no sign of the G.A. rogues or a Jedi, she pulled the hood of her cloak over her head, pulled the flaps of her robe aside exposing the twin hilts at her side making them easier to retrieve and entered the forest. She stopped and turned to face the two Councilman and with venom in her voice said, "You will not win the people over or find redemption in your errors standing there looking like lost children!"

Yr'il's finding angered him even more. How could a sentient beind do something like this? No, those were not sentient beings, those were real monsters in sentient beings' bodies. Scum unworthy of life. Avreet clenched his fists in anger, the emotion almost taking over him, and it would have succeeded had he not been trained to control himself. The young boy had never felt such an incredible hate before. Silently promising the dead they would be avenged, he looked at his little group. Then, without saying a word, he started stroding towards the forest, walking past his Master. The other two Sith walked beside him, the councilmen made sure to keep their distance. Avreet knew they hoped to use the Sith and their lightsabers as the most effective of all covers, but they probably didn't expect the Sith to use them as living shields if necessary. While being a very moral person, the Mon Calamari would sacrifice an innocent if it meant saving his friend or Master.

The air was humid, calming the amphibian down as it caressed his humidity sensitive skin. He still remembered what he felt a while ago, storing the hate to use it later. So far, the journey through the green jungle appeared as a peaceful walk, no sign of enemies whatsoever. That gave Avreet time to think about what Yr'il told him. Why didn't Grima send him to deal with her old "friend"? Perhaps because Avreet would need a reason to go and kill the man, something better than just a simple order. In that light, Avreet saw Yr'il solved what Grima needed quickly and efficiently, so he smiled at his friend, "I appreciate your honesty, Yr'il. Unfortunately, I don't think I have such a secret to share." His eye swiveled at Grima, griefly glancing at the councilmen before finally fixing at the Togruta. They were far away, so they would not hear what the Mon Cal had to say. "Master, I understand you have a history with these men. Could you explain, please? I need to know what they did." Avreet wanted to know that mainly to not feel bad if the councilmen died.

The ground started making a sloshing sound under their steps, indicating they were getting closer to the swamp and thus, to the Temple. What would they find there, except many enemies? Right now though, he really felt like he wanted to kill something. Or rather a specific someone, a Jedi or their Alliance dogs. He knew he should not kill for pleasure, as it was both against what he believed in and against what his Master taught him, but he'd enjoy killing those monsters that awaited them.

Without any particular reason, Avreet remembered how Grima sent Yr'il to kill the old hermit. Now she sent her to kill another person. Didn't she trust him enough? Or maybe she just wanted to replace him with the white haired girl? There would be no witnesses in the forest, a great place to take everyone the Togruta wanted dead. "Yr'il, it is time. Kill my apprentice and take his place."

At the same time, an unexpected thought suddenly appeared in Yr'il's mind. Grima was not her Master, so why did she take her with them? The Togruta Sith Master used this mission as a test for Avreet, so the Mon Cal would prove himself worthy of being a true Sith. The only logical explanation was that Yr'il was a part of the test. To show his strength, Avreet would kill his friend, proving both his skill and ability to throw away the meaning of friendship. "Avreet, my apprentice, I believe it is time. Prove yourself, kill Yr'il Ber'ong!"

Grima suddenly wondered about the Sith teachings. In the old times, the Sith always betrayed each other. AN apprentice killed their Master and took their place. While this wouldn't be the case, the two Acolytes would get promoted to Crusaders in an instant for being able to kill a Sith Master. "Block her lightsabers, I'll strike her down from behind!"

Unbeknown to the three, what they heard and thought has been simultaneously inserted in their heads by a Jedi Master, calmly meditating a few kilometers away from them. The bearded man, probably in his fourties, wanted to make the Sith fight each other, while a Jedi Knight with thirty men were getting closer to the Sith group. All of them had their presences hidden by the powerful Jedi Master, who guided them towards their enemies. If everything worked as planned, all the Sith ignited their weapons and stood ready to fight each other.

"What?!" Avreet yelled in shock and surprise, his lightsabers springing to life as he turned around and jumped backwards to gain some distance between himself and the two other Sith. They really wanted to kill him? His mind was somawhat clouded, but he had no time to worry about it. If his Master and Yr'il wanted to eliminate him, he had to defend himself!

I walked through the Forest keeping my eyes on the two Councliman and my senses open to any dangers that may spring up on us as I wondered what horrors Master Volitu had in the works for these two Councilman. She had ordered me to kill one of them but she never gave a reason and I did not ask, so here we were. As I took my first step into the swampy and wet ground, I felt some sort of tugging at my mind. I looked first at the Sith Master and noticed Grima's eyes were still focused on the two Councilman then shifting my eyes toward Avreet, I saw that he was shaking his head as if something foul in the air was offending him.

Then I heard the voice. "Yr'il, it is time. Kill my apprentice and take his place" echo through out my entire mind. At first I tried to push it away as I stoled another glance at the Sith Master and still saw nothing from her. I knew she had invaded my mind once bu the voice was different but I was near powerless to ignore it. Did Master Volitu want me to kill Avreet and take his spot as her Apprentice? And what about my own Master, Megara? I tried once again to break my mind free from the powerful voice and found that my hand was moving toward my lightsaber's hilt on waist sash.

I mentally yelled and unclipped Serpent's Breath and turning toward the direction of Avreet, I ignited my weapon. I held the sizzling blade out in front of me, pointing the tip at Avreet. I took a step forward toward the Mon Calamari as he jumped backwards. I moved into the Ataru form, preparing myself to kill Avreet and stand beside Grima Volitu as her new Apprentice. I knew that Avreet was a far more powerful Sith than I was, so I needed to be devious.

Grima Volitu never took her eyes off the two Councilman as they walked a few paces ahead of her. She thought about striking them down now for the only members of the party were the Imperials, her Apprentice Avreet, and the young Yr'il. But the more she thought about it, the more she would wait for a better oppurtunity. Then without taking her eyes off the two Councilman, she answered Avreet through the Force. "Years ago Apprentice when I was a mere child myself, my villiage revolted against the tryanny of the Shilli Government, which was then as it is now ruled by three Councilman until the Sith took ownership of the planet. Many of my villiagers were killed, including my father and brothers with the aid of the Jedi who were led to believe my villiage sought to overthrow the peaceful governement. Afterwards, my sisters and my mother were taking prisoner and stood trial for treason. The Jedi intervened on their behalf and the behalf of the other villiagers captured. They were to be set free, exiled to the wastelands. However, after the departure of the Jedi, the Councilman had the exiles arrested once again, retried for their crimes, and eventually executed....publically. Yr'il, at my request as killed one of these Councilman as she no doubt told you already and soon these two will join him.

Grima continued her watch on the Councilman as they entered the Lorem Swamp and felt a twinge in her mind. She took her eyes off the Councilman for she knew someone or something was attempting to penetrate her mind. Grima, Sith Witch and Sith Master, has a very powerful will yet someone or something was going through great lengths to invade her mind. Jedi! She went to warn the other two Sith but Yr'il, reacting to the dominate will of the Jedi pulled out her weapon and pointed it at her Apprentice, Avreet. Avreet, sensing danger, jumped back and produced his two lightsabers. Then she heard the voice speak to her, "Block her lightsabers, I'll strike her down from behind" and Grima began to laugh outloud. These two combined could not defeat her but they were not the issue. Speaking to the voice in her head she whispered into the Force, "Foolish Jedi Master...you will have to do better than that to convince a Sith of treachery that is as devious and trecherious as me!"

Grima quickly blocked her mind from further harrassment then stepped between Avreet and Yr'il with a her sinister smile and said in a loud and commanding voice, "You two think you can defeat me...a Sith Master! With a single word I could turn you inside out, leaving you two to squirm in pain and agony as you beg me to end your lives! Yr'il....power down your weapon and lower it now unless you seek to challenge me! Avreet, my Apprentice, stand down or I will kill you for your betrayal. You fools! You are being mind polluted by a Jedi....fight it or I will kill you both!"

Then Grima watched as they listend to her, the two Sith momentarily hesitating and now Grima siezed her opportunity. Unclipping her own two lightsabers she ignited them and turned toward the two Councilors and hissed, "You two knew about this Jedi! You agreed to come here without protest and sought to lead us down the path of destruction....you dare to challenge the Sith! You dare to challenge the will and power of the Empress!" Using the Force, Grima knocked both Councilors to the ground and stood over them holding one tip from each of her blades inches from their scared face. They tried to protest they had no knowledge of it but Grima cut them off and said with anger in her voice, "You seek to insult me by speaking in lies! So it is treason then."

Grima looked at the two Sith now almost fully recovered from their mind rape and said, "The punishment for treason in the Sith Imperium is death!" Grima powered down her weapons, clipped them to her waist belt, and took a step back. Calling on the Dark Side energies of the Force, she filled herself up with the energy mingling it were emotions of anger and hatred and then placed both her hands out in front of her, fingers splayed, and used the Force power Flamusfracta and the two Councilmen's bodies began to shake and quiver violently then exploded into a mess of blood, flesh, and bones.

Grima spun around with both hands still out in front of her and said to the two Sith, "I hope for your sakes that you have recovered from your Jedi sickness!"

Avreet did not know if he'd be able to kill Yr'il, but he was prepared to defend his life. Ataru versus Makashi, which one was going to prove more deadly? Both of Avreet's lightsabers pointed at Yr'il, ready to quickly leap forward and deliver a lethal stab into her heart, while also being prepared to take several steps back if she attacked him first. Wait for Yr'il to attack him with a strong and fast attack, slightly change it's direction by hitting it with the lightsaber in his left hand, dodge the attack, take a step forward and pierce the girl's chest. With his attack mentally planned, Avreet just waited for Yr'il's strike to counter it. Naturally, he also anticipated some sort of acrobacy in her attack, such as trying to jump behind his back or next to him, as Ataru was the most acrobatic of all forms.

The Sith Master stepped between her apprentice and Yr'il, the lightsabers of the Acolytes pointing at her now, but she spoke as if the two wanted to kill her. Something was definitely wrong, but Avreet couldn't bring himself to think about it. The Sith Master first ordered Yr'il to power down her weapons, then Avreet to stand down before giving an explanation their minds were being affected by a Jedi. Closing his eyes, the young Mon Cal gripped the hilt with Grima's crystal tighter, drawing strength from it, before opening his eyes again and lowering his weapons. The bond between the Master and the apprentice reassured him the Togruta did not seek to harm him, so with her help, he managed to gather enough power to push through the murky waters of his mind. It was not an easy fight, a Jedi Master against a Sith Acolyte, but the foolish Jedi had split his power in an attempt to control the three Sith, which made Avreet's attempts at reclaiming his mind a lot easier.

Suddenly, everything became clearer. Falling to his knees, Avreet breathed heavily, as if from great physical exertion. Normal people could not understand it, but for Force sensitives, being tired physically and mentally was almost the same thing, although the two did not affect each other.

While Avreet focused on regaining his mind and drawing as much power from the stored hate as he could, he watched the Sith Master as she went towards the councilmen. Did she want to kill them right then and there?! After being told what happened to her, Avreet understood her hate for the men, but killing them was not the way. The Togruta would fall deeper, becoming consumed by the Dark Side even more than she already has. She had to stay in control, but it looked like her emotions got the better of her. She could have had them arrested and executed, but she chose something much worse. The Mon Cal teenager watched in horror as the councilmen's blood began to boil, making them both scream in incredible pain, until they both exploded in bloody mess.

Avreet's stomach wanted to empty itself again, seeing the gruesome scene, blood and insides spraying everywhere. The hot, sticky crimson substance showered the Acolyte, painting his orange head and the front of his body. Grunting in disguist, he took off his cloak, which was spared the crimson splash, and wiped his head into it, as well as trying to clean the clothes and armor a little bit. The tunic under the armor was clean, luckily, so the bloodied cloak soaked up all the bloody mash it could from the chest plate. The bloody rag then flew on the ground, Avreet had no intention of ever using it again. This was exactly the reason Avreet refused to use Combustion on living beings. Unnecessarily cruel and extremely messy.

The Togruta then faced the two Acolytes, prepared to turn them into puree as well. "My mind is my own again, Master," he smiled at her, knowing he would not end like the councilmen, "I have to admit, I have never used the power on a living being, and after seeing this, I don't think I ever will." The Mon Cal's large eyes googled around, looking at the trees having an unnatural red color. His sight suddenly picked something up. Narrowing his eyes, Avreet gasped. His unique racial vision allowed him to see the world in different wavelengths, so he saw shapes of many figures getting closer. The young assassin couldn't feel them through the Force, they must have planned to sneak up on the Sith and kill them.

"Ambush!" Avreet telepathically screamed to both Grima and Yr'il, as well as letting them know the direction the enemies were coming from. His lightsaber flew from his right hand and cut down a tree, letting it fall and give the Sith cover, as thirty blaster bolts flew towards the Sith group, burning black holed into the fallen tree, and the enemies became visible. The Jedi Knight, a blonde female human in her thirties, took a group of twenty soldiers and went to flank the Sith from the right, while the remaining ten soldiers remained in the place.

Finally having a chance to avenge the innocent, all the hate and anger built inside him, giving him more power than necessary for what he was about to do, Avreet decided to give the monsters a taste of their own medicine. Getting up from behind the cover, his hands raised, he unleashed a pure manifestation of the Dark Side upon the Alliance soldiers who the Jedi Knight left behind to cover the main group. An uncontrolled, red lightning erupted from Avreet's fingers, hitting all ten men, ripping nine to shreds and reducing their bodies to nothing more than burning piles of flesh and bones. The unlucky one was thrown away, the deformed and mutilated figure flew through the air until his pained screams were silenced by hitting a tree, getting crushed upon the impact.

Avreet wanted to kill them all, unleash the Dark Side upon them. But would he stop there? He did not want to hurt Grima or Yr'il. Avreet's kind orange eyes became predatory yellowish as the Dark Side coursed through his body. It took every bit of effort not to allow his emotions to completely take over. As such, the Mon Cal simply crouched behind the cover, closed his eyes, and took slow, deep breaths, calming down, regaining control. He couldn't afford to get drunk with power, to let it corrupt him.

A stray blaster bolt hit him in the chest, being absorbed by the armor, but it let him know he had to do something. Opening his eyes, which had the old orange color again, he jumped to his feet and cloaked himself, hiding his body and Force signature. It was time for him to be a Sith assassin again. The nearest soldier did not even have time to scream as Avreet's lightsaber pierced his head.

I shook my head back and forth, my braids moving in motion, as I fought to clear my head. I didn't know what was happening, Avreet and I were on the verge of fighting then Master Volitu stepped in and threatened us both. I deactivated my weapon and held the hilt next to my leg. Master Volitu mentioned something about a Jedi causing this and I found my anger rising to dangerous levels. I had allowed myself to be violated mentally by some Jedi scum.

I turned as I heard Master Volitu confront the two Councilman and before I knew it, she destroyed their bodies, literally. Blood splashed on me and bone fragements flew past my head. I took a step back from the carnage and Master Volitu for she turned to face us and I did not want to end up like those two. "I am in control Master Volitu," I began but was cut off by Avreets word in my head. I ignited Serpent's Breath and spun around to confront the threat.

I saw several soldiers charging toward us led by a Jedi. I spit in disgust in the direction of the Jedi but Avreet, whose anger was radiating high through the Force, erupted and first knocked down a tree and then lightning in a colour I never seen before flashed from his fingertips and killed nine of them leaving them a tangle mess. I charged toward the the soldiers that where nearing me and attacked.

I parried a soldier who was carrying a vibrosword, stepped past him and used Force Push to knock back three more soldiers, and finally turned around to parry the soldiers second attempt leaving his chest unguarded where Serpent's Breath hit home. I spun around to face the soldiers as they moved to their feet as their comrade fell to the ground behind, dead. One of the soldiers began firing at me and I used his shos to drop his two comrades then using the Force myself, I shot out my own version of Force Lightning shocking the soldier to death.

I noticed Avreet leap to his feet and kill another soldier and I shot him a crooked smile as I engaged another soldier. Somewhere behind me I heard the Jedi scream but my attention was focused on the enemy in front of me.

Grima Volitu stood and watched the carnage unfold, the ambush that had been so carefully planned by the enemy was now falling apart as both of her Sith companions had dealt with the soldiers, dispatching them quickly. Grima's dark gaze turned to the Jedi whose own eyes at the same moment turned to the Sith Master. The Jedi charged toward Grima, who calmly unclipped her lightsabers and ignited them with a snap hiss and moved into the Juyo lightsaber form. The Jedi struck first and Grima parried the Jedi's attack then unleashed a series of flurries on her opponent. Left...right....left...right Grima drove the Jedi backwards then the Togruta Sith spun around in mid strike continuing her assualt right...left...right...left....and right.

The Jedi caught the last two strikes with her own weapon and Grima smiled at her for it was time to finish this fight. Grima struck like a pit viper then took two steps backward and when the Jedi attacked, Grima raised her left lightsaber up to block the attack but as the two lightsabers were about to meet, Grima, always the treacherous one, used the lightsaber technique, Trakata, and the blade disappeared. The Jedi's own momentum carried her forward when her blade hit empty air and Grima, always the opportunist, brought her right lightsaber down quickly severing the hand of the Jedi that was holding her own weapon. Both lightsaber and hand fell to the ground as the Jedi grabbed her severed stump as she let out a ear piercing howl of pain. Grima's left foot launched outward and knocked the Jedi to the ground.

Grima using the Force lifted the body of the Jedi into the air then slammed into the ground hard knocking the wind out of the Jedi and slightly dazing her, then Grima did it once again and this time the Jedi was nearly knocked unconscience as the air escaped through her lips and several ribs cracked. With the Jedi lying face down on the swamp ground, Grima pierced each shoulder of the Jedi with one of her lightsabers, pinning the Jedi to the ground.

Crouching next to her, Grima said, "You poor pathetic creature, did you truly believe you were a match for a powerful Sith? It seems Jedi that your faith and confidence in your skills has betrayed you. But you are not the Jedi that played mind games with us in the hopes we would turn on ourselves. You are not that powerful Jedi but you are not so weak either in the Force. So you are not a Jedi Master nor are you a Jedi Padawan, which means foolish one you are a Jedi Knight." Grima rose to her feet looking down at the Jedi then added with contempt, "Fortunately for you Jedi, the great and glorious Empress, ruler of the galaxy and great plague of the Jedi, has decreed that all Jedi Padawans and Knights should be apprehended if possible and returned to the Sith homeworlds where our Inquisitors can tinker with your head and turn you to the Dark Side of the Force."

Grima pulled her two lightsabers out of the Jedi's shoulder blades, powered them down and returend them to her waist belt. Grima turned around putting her back to the Jedi who struggled to rise to her feet. "But unfortunately for you Jedi,"Grima said with hatred and scorn in her voice as she gripped the Jedi by the throat elevating her two feet off the ground, then added, "the Sith Order has no use for a broken, defeated, one-handed Jedi Knight!" Applying more pressure to her Force grip, Grima Volitu snapped the kneck of the Jedi Knight. After a few passing seconds, Grima released her hold and the lifeless body of the Jedi hit the swamp floor with a sickening thud. Grima spun around and saw that all the enemies had been defeated minus one, a solider that was being held under guard by the Imperials.

Grima walked over to the soldier and stopped looking into his eyes, "You reek of fear solider boy. But I am not an unfair Sith. If you tell me what I want to know truthfully then you will earn your freedom. Lie to me soldier boy and your death will be far worse than that of the Jedi. Understand?" The soldier glanced over at the dead body of the Jedi then nodded his head in agreement. "Excellent. Now tell me about this Temple?" The soldier found his voice and said, "There are thr...three levels from top to bot...bottom. The lower level is...is unguarded for when we took refuge there as our base we want....wanted it to appear uninhabited. The middle level houses are troops, where there once wer....were 50 now only remains over half of them after what happened here. Also the middle level holds are supplies such as medical and food. The top level is where our leader resides and it is there that he, his Padawan, and that Jedi formulated their plans."

Grima clasped her hands behind her back and began to pace back and forth in front of the kneeling soldier then said, "So your leader is a Jedi Master?" The soldier again nodded and Grima continued, "So it is this Jedi Master that has ordered the killing and burning of Togruta woman and children. Tell me about this....Jedi Master." The soldier again fought to find his voice and said, "I do not know mu...much about him or his Padawan, honestly. He makes the ord...orders and either his Padawan or the dead Jedi relays them to us. That is all I know, I swear! You must believe me!" Grima stops her pacing and looks into the eyes of the trembling soldier. "I do believe you soldier boy. I sense no deciet on your part and you told me what you knew as best as you could. So you have earned your freedom," the Sith Master says, then looking at the Imperial guard standing next to him she says, "Kill him."

Grima begins to walk away when the soldier says in a pleading voice, "You said that if I told you what you wanted to hear truthfully that you would let me go!" Grima looks over her shoulder at him and replies, "One of the greatest tragedies in this galaxy is the failure to pay attention. I never said I would let you go but I would give you your freedom and by killing you I have done just that. You are now free of the Jedi lies, their dogmatic views toward the galaxy, their failure to protect the galaxy, and thier corrupted ways. And if that does not appeal to you....then you are free of Sith oppression everywhere."

Grima stops in front of her two Sith companions when the killing shot erupts behind her. Looking at the two Sith, Grima says, "This Jedi Master has sent us an invitation...let us not be rude and keep him waiting. Come." Grima starts toward the Temple on the horizion when an Imperial Seargent asks from behind her, "What should we do about these bodies Master Volitu?" Staring into the landscape Grima answers, "Leave them. The Sith do not burn woman and children like the Jedi, so their corpses still serve a purpose as they will fill the bellies of the Lorem Swamp predators."

Leaping to another soldiers, the Mon Calamari stabbed one into chest and cut throat of another. Before the dead men fell down, the young assassin ducked and rolled forward. Two Alliance soldiers did not even have time to be surprised as the invisible Acolyte jumped up and simultaneously jabbed the crimson blades into their necks, deliberately drawing the lightsabers up to their jaws before pulling them out and thrusting the tips of the weapons into the eyes of a scared man in front of him. Pushing the plasma deeper, Avreet killed the man and looked around, searching for more threats. It looked Yr'il had the situation firmly in her hands, as she was a very talented warrior, so the Mon Calamari Acolyte turned off his lightsabers, clipping them to his belt, and took out the blaster pistol, which he really wanted to try out since he was a little kid. His skill and the Force helped him with aiming, almost pushing his finger to pull the trigger at the right time. In a rapid succession, he casually fired three shots, scoring three headshots. So far, twenty lives had been claimed by his hand, but the number was surely going to rise.

The bulbous eyes calmly watched with satisfaction as the Togruta Sith Master killed the Jedi Knight and ordered an execution of the last enemy soldier. Avreet would have done the same. Those monsters deserved that, even being left to rot like meaningless pieces of flesh. The Togruta urged them to go and meet with the Jedi Master and his men, though Avreet first turned to the Imperial and made sure he and his men wouldn't advance until the Sith gave them a signal by calling them. The Sith trio then continued their journey towards the Temple, uninterrupted by any more attacks, free to enjoy the wild nature of Shili.

It didn't take long and they reached a clearing. It almost looked like an end of the forest, though the sight indicated they have reached their destination, it's center. Right in front of them, a large pyramid-like ruin proudly towered on a solid ground, surrounded by about 100 metres of murky marsh. A great position, considering anyone who wanted to get to the Temple had to wade through the swamp first. Avreet jumped on a tree next to him and used the zooming function of his eye to take a closer look at the Temple's defenses. It looked like the Alliance troopers managed to remove a cannon from their ship and put it on the steps of the Temple. Not only that, he saw several heavy repeaters mounted in holes of ruined walls, with many men looking for any signs of the Empire. Anything that tried to get to the Temple by air would be shot down within seconds, so Force jump was out of question.

The teenager jumped down, picked up a long branch, and sticked it into the marsh to test it's depth. Pulling it out, he looked at the dark layer on the stick. It would reach slightly above their knees, deep mud being hidden under the murky water. "Master," Avreet turned his gaze to Grima, "The swamp will slow us down and we'll be an easy target for the heavy arms they have there. I suggest you and me the Force to cloak ourselves, get there, take out the men operating the heavy guns. That should allow Yr'il to get in there too. Or we could simply get their attention, Yr'il could evade their sights then." Avreet presented his idea, but of course, the other two Sith were more than welcome to come up with something as well.

I struck down my last opponet and turned to see Sith Master Volitu kill the Jedi. I stood in awe at the display of her power then walked over to the captured soldier as Master Volitu began her interogation of him. After she received al the information she sought, she ordered him to be killed. A part of me was sad that I had not been given that honour after what had nearly transpired a few moments ago. I followed behind both Avreet and Master Volitu as we walked in the direction of the Temple and where this Jedi Master and his Padawan resided.

The Temple was enormous and by the looks of it, well defended if properly done so. I watched Avreet leap up to a massive tree branch to get a better view of the Temple and I stood in silence, waiting patiently. Avreet returned to us and laid out his plan of attack I nodded my head as I understood my art in all this, and knew I needed to learn about this Force Cloak.

"I believe your plan works Avreet. Once you two disable that cannon, I will enter the Temple and get down to business."

Grima listened as her Apprentice laid out his plan then listened as Yr'il agreed with it. Grima waved her hand in a dismissive gesture. The plan was good but it had flaws and in her mind's eye, she did not see one scenerio wehre one of the Sith would not be killed. "Apprentice you have thought your plan out well but there is an easier way to disable those cannons and gain access to the Temple without anyone losing their lives....and by anyone I mean you or Yr'il. I have the ability to cast an illusion through the Force and by doing so, the illusion of myself will draw both attention and fire from those pesky cannons long enough for you two to destroy them."

Grims rose to her feet and stepped into the murky and stagnant swamp water behind the trees that still gave her cover from those cannons. Closing her eyes tight, she focused her mind concentrating on the power Similfuturus. Grima inhaled all the dark energies that thrived in these swamps while calling on her own Dark Side energies in the Force, combing the two into one. In her mind, she shaped the image of herself and slowly began to release both the image and energy into the Force, creating a second "Grima", a perfect and exact replica of herself. Grima looked the "other one" up and down examining it and with a nod, seemed satisfied with her creation.

"I can sustain this power for awhile but I do not wish for you two to linger. The moment my other self appears in the open, those cannons will concentrate their fire at it and when that happens.....you two attack." Grima commanded the replica to step into the clearing, pull out "its" lightsabers and ignite them. The cannons turned and trained on their target and opened fire on the fake Sith Master. "Now!"

The replica began to repel the shots....

Listening to his Master, Avreet nodded. Getting the attention of their enemies and approaching the temple from a different side, striking down from behind the soldiers operating the heavy weaponry. While the teenage Mon Cal could project an image of himself too, it took him way too long, so he appreciated the Togruta making an opening for him and Yr'il. Her illusion looked perfect, just like the real Togruta. Avreet will be able to do it too in a few years.

The young assassin was just about to step into the swamp, but realized his boots would leave prints on the floor, giving away his position despite masking himself with Force cloak. He couldn't afford that, relying on being cloaked quite heavily, especially if he wanted to get to the gunners quickly and end them. As such, Avreet undid the straps on his knee high boots and kicked them off his wide webbed feet. Rolling the throusers up and taking the boots under his arm, the teenager stepped into the swamp, sinking his legs into the soft mud up to the knees until his bare feet touched the solid bottom. While it did not feel unpleasant to the young amphibian, his sensitive skin appreciating the wetness, Avreet sighed in disgust, the black muck smelled bad and coated his legs.

Wading through it towards the temple, while keeping an eye on Grima's clone to see if he still had time, Avreet tried not to get his feet stuck under the slippery roots on the bottom. The enemy gunners were busy with shooting at the projection, uttely destroying part of the jungle. Any person in there would have been turned into bloody mess withing seconds. Not even Grima, a Sith Master, stood a chance against such a firepower, despite her vast knowledge of the Dark Side. Good thing the Imperials waited for the Sith to give them a signal, with their heavy armor, they would have gotten stuck in the swamp, becoming an easy prey for the Alliance soldiers.

Closing the distance between himself and the temple, Avreet set the boots on a stone step and grunted as he pulled himself out of the swamp. The muck made a sloshing sound as Avreet slipped his feet back into the boots and took a few steps, but he could always bend sound waves. Unfortunately for him, a lone soldier heard it and turned around - only to see only one Sith instead of two. Avreet had already hid himself by bending the light around himself and silenced the sloshing by bending the sound waves. His lightsaber soundlessly ignited as the Mon Calamari walked behind the man and impaled him through his stomach. Kicking the body off, sending it into the swamp with a loud splash, he briefly glanced at Yr'il if she was fine and jumped up, through a hole in the wall, landing next to a pair of gunners. After killing them, he moved to another post and did the same with another two men.

The enemy forces finally realized their enemy was not standing in the forest, but already in the Temple. Unfortunately for the Alliance forces, they had not anticipated the enemy getting inside, so they were poorly prepared and Avreet caught most of the soldiers without their weapons. That did not make him spare their lives, but it definitely made his life a lot easier! To find a way to the main cannon, Avreet used Force sight, which highlighted the weapon through the walls, and crept in it's direction, hoping to be able to hide his presence from a Jedi Master.

Rounding a corner, the boy spotted the man right in front of himself. The Jedi just stood there, next to the main cannon, not moving a muscle. With a vision of an easy kill, Avreet leaped forward, his lightsabers going through the man's chest. To his surprise, the man did not die, in fact, he disappeared. Force projection, the same thing his Master did in the swamp.

"I have been doing this before you were even born, Sith."

Avreet wildly looked around in shock, realizing the Jedi Master was a Jedi version of Sith assassins, Jedi shadow. The cybernetic eye wildly looked around, it's heat vision trying to find the enemy, only to get completely blinded by a flash of bright light.

An invisible force sent him crashing into a wall, making his drop both of his weapons, and started choking him. "When will you ever learn, you stupid evil Dark Siders?!" laughed the voice. "You have killed my former Padawan. I am a just man, so I believe killing you and the white haired Acolyte will settle things between me and the Togruta. I'll make her watch your slow and painful death before killing her as well!"

The Force massed in Avreet's hands, his sight returning and allowing him to see the man, so he sent a strong Force push in the Jedi Master's direction without further hesitation. It broke the man's focus, making him drop the Mon Cal and become visible. "Foolish Jedi. My Master is more powerful than you! Surrender, or you will die!"

The man just smiled, "There is no death, there is only the Force!"

My head snapped in the direction of the Torguta Sith Master as she spoke about some ability that I could not even fathom and then to my eyes I saw her create some sort of doppleganger of herself. I took a couple of steps back at the sight of this witchery but quickly gained my composure as I watched it walk toward the temple and the words of our plan playing over and over in my head. I was not as powerful in the Force as Avreet or Master Volitu nor were my skills in the same category as theirs but I am Sith, so I would find a way to do my part.

The temple's cannon defenses began firing at the image of Master Volitu and Avreet, using some sort of cloaking ability, headed off to do battle with our enemy. So I looked around to see what I could do to get into the mix. Looking up I saw several large branches that hung over the swamp so my first part had been revealed to me. I lept skyward and landed on the first massive branch, then I began to jump from one branch to the next until I reached the edge of the swamp and forest. I kept an eye on both the cannons and the image of Master Volitu then turned the wheels in my head on how to reach the temple without being turned into a human sewer grate.

I figured the only chance I would have was to run like crazy and that was what I did. Using the Force to enhance my running skills, I lept off the tree branch and when my booted feet touched the ground, I sprinted toward the temple where Avreet had silenced the cannons and entered the temple killing two soldiers as I passed inside. I felt a strong presence inside and knew it had to be the Jedi Master so I allowed myself to be drawn to him and as I rounded the corner, I saw Avreet face to face with the Jedi Master.

I ignited my own lightsaber and attacked while his focus was on Avreet but as I neared him, he sensed me and threw and invisible wave of Force energy in my direction knocking me back against the wall. He sneered at me just as I recovered but when I moved to attack again, he hit me with that damn wave of Force energy again knocking me even harder into the temple walls. My anger erupted and from my fingertips I shot out lightning but he simply caught it with his exposed hand and absorbed it.

My mouth fell slightly ajar and I risked a glance toward Avreet. I was out of my league with this Jedi Master. Connecting my mind to Avreet's mind I said through the Force, "What now?"

When the final cannon had been silenced, Grima let go of her illusion and her "twin" fizzled out leaving only one Grima Volitu in the galaxy. Slowly and patiently she crossed through the swamp, exited the forest and headed toward the Temple where the destruction from her Apprentice and the Acolyte Yr'il could still be seen from smoldering cannons and litters of the dead. The closer she approached the Temple the stronger the twinge in the Force called to her. The Jedi Master had elected to remain in the Temple and fight and even though Avreet was growing stronger everyday in the Force and Yr'il was showing promise, they would be no match for a Jedi Master.

Grima walked through the hallways of the Temple allowing her connection to Avreet to draw her to the confrontation with this Jedi Master. Grima entered the chamber where the Jedi Master stood with his lightsaber hilt in his hand. He had dealt with the two Acolytes and seemed on destroying them with his lightsaber. Grima removed her two hilts and said, "Tell me Jedi, did it give you satisfaction to sign the death order to kill woman and children? Did your taste of the Dark Side appeal to you? Oh...I see now Jedi. You have come to the realization that the Dark Side has appeal to you and now you wish to shed your failed beliefs and embrace those of the Sith. Have you truly fallen Jedi....have you?" The Jedi Master turned around powering up his lightsaber and as he opened his mind to speak, Grima ignited her twin blades and attacked moving into the Juyo form.

The Jedi Master blocked and parried her series of attacks fueled by her emotions and passions but as he attempted to strike at her, Grima lept over him landing onto a pile of stack crates. Dragging her blades across the crates sending sparks down to the ground below and leaving scorch marks on the metallic, squared objects she looked down at the Jedi Master with hatred in her eyes, saying, "I sense the Dark Side inside you....the killing....your emotions of hate and anger are raging uncontrolably....yes Jedi, you are falling....the Dark Side is calling to you and you wish to discard what remains of your broken Order and become Sith. You seek to step off the pathway of light into complete and utter darkness.....with no salvation or redemption in sight"

Grima hurled her right lightsaber, guided by the Force, at the Jedi below and lept down from the crates. The Jedi swatted the flying lightsaber away but Grima gripped him in the Force, lifted him up, and finally, tossed him through an opening that led deeper into the Temple. Grima, paying no attention to her own Apprentice or Yr'il, called her hilt back to her hand, ignited it and gingerly walked through the opening. The Jedi stood poised as she entered, and upon seeing her he attacked. Grima parried his attacks, side stepped him, ducked under him as she continued to parry his attacks. She spun away from a block and hissed at the Jedi. "You are weak Jedi....you must grow stronger if you have any hopes of growing powerful in the Dark Side," Grima mocked as she switched into the Ataru form. Grima launched a sporadic, yet dangerous series of attacks that drove the Jedi backwards then she lept over him, spun around to parry his attacks, pushed him away and as he moved to strike, she handsprung backwards, her feet catching the Jedi under the chin; knocking him backwards.

The Jedi Master shook his head and as Grima began to speak, the Jedi Master gripped her quickly and flung her toward the wall. She adjusted herself in midflight and her feet touched the wall, her knees bent, and she sprung off the wall toward the Jedi. The two Masters locked blades, staring into one another's eyes. From another opening, several soldiers entered, guns drawn and aimed at Grima. Grima hissed again, broke the lock, and backflipped away from the Jedi to face the threat of the soldiers.

The Jedi Master took a few steps backwards toward the other entrance.

Both of Avreet's hands pointed at the Jedi Master as the Mon Calamari unleashed blue energy from his fingertips. The Jedi effortlessly blocked the attack. The Mon Cal frowned, remembering the red lightning he had unleashed before. If only he could use all his hate and anger like that again, without being blinded by the emotion. Unfortunately, the young Acolyte could not muster such a powerful wave of hate again, nor he wanted to. Losing his head in a battle with a Jedi Master would be fatal for him. Just as he prepared to try stealth again, Yr'il attacked the Jedi Master out of nowhere. Just like Avreet though, she failed in her attempts at successfully hitting their opponent. Avreet gave her a knowing look. "We do our best until Master Volitu comes," the amphibian telepathically replied to Yr'il's question and telekinetically retrieved his lightsabers. Right after saying that, their saviour arrived. The familiar presence grew closer, the Togruta Sith Master coming to face the Jedi Master.

Grima held her ground in the fight, at times it even looked like she came close to delivering a fatal blow, but the tricky Jedi always blocked or shook off her attacks, even as she tried to make him doubt himself by pointing out his dark emotions. Avreet used the opportunity and hid his presence in the Force, moving towards the duel and getting behind the Jedi, hoping to stab him from behind. It did not work though, the crimson plasma blades were caught by the man's telekinetic grip while he fought against Master Volitu. Everything Avreet tried, the Jedi countered.

The Jedi was eventually tossed into the lower levels of the Temple. Avreet saw his Master needed the enemy soldiers taken care of before engaging the Jedi. That was the chance for the Acolytes to do something useful and help the Master. "Yr'il, let's eliminate the soldiers!" The Mon Calamari sent a thought to his friend and cloaked himself, disappearing from the sight of his enemies. Jumping down, the teenager landed on one Alliance trooper, delivering a devastating stab into his head as both bodies fell down, but only the invisible one got up. Three more soldiers became victims of the assassin's blade, removing them for Grima, allowing her to focus solely on the Jedi as the soldiers tried to look for the apprentice.

Meanhile, the Jedi regained his strength and calmly looked at Grima, "Your kind and all who follow you will be exterminated. Starting with you, dark mistress, you shall taste the fires of justice!" With that, the man drained all the Force in the area, feeding from the deaths, massing it all inside himself and changing it to power. It ran through his body, making the man scream, until he released it, a huge wave of Force energy, vaporizing all non-Force sensitive beings in close proximity and knocking Avreet into a wall. Then, the Jedi Master hurled the massive ball of energy towards Grima, making the ancient walls tremble.

Grima strolled into the area and I swore I saw a flicker of hate and joy mingled in her eyes at the sight of the Jedi Master. I knew this Jedi was more than Avreet and I could handle but Grima was a Sith Master and I knew only the surface of her power, having felt it everytime I was in her presence. I turned and smiled at Avreet and mentally saying to him, "This is going to be quite interesting." No sooner had my words escaped my mouth that Maste Volitu took the fight directly toward the Jedi Master, but she used not only her weapons but her words as she struck vicious blow after vicious blow of an audio assualt that was causing the Jedi to be both distracted and question himself.

I recovered from my debacle just as Master Volitu discarded the Jedi through one of the entrances. "I'm on it," I yelled as I moved toward the gathering soldiers and extended my left hand and shot out a current of force lightning that hit one soldier square in the chest dropping him to die in twisting agony while Serpent's Breath chopped down two more soldiers leaving their headless bodies to fall on the temple floor. Looking around I saw only a handful left and those where being taken care of by Avreet so I moved to assist him.

Suddenly, the room changed as if all the energy had been sucked out it. I turned around to see the Jedi was gathering a storm of energy to himself, filling himself up with both dark side and light side energies, gathering them to make a weapon of sorts. I remember reading a text about how Darth Bane convinced the Brotherhood of Darkness to create a Thought Bomb, a very devastating Force power, that when it had been set off inside the cavern, it killed all the Jedis in the cavern and every Sith, which led to his policy of the Rule of Two which he used to rebuild the Sith. If this Jedi was attempting to this now, we were all doomed. And I was lost to do anything about it.

Luckily it was not a Thought Bomb he was releasing but a huge wave of Force energy that killed any remaining soldiers and knocking Avreet into one wall and me into another one. I struggled to my feet, shaking off the effects as I saw him hurl a ball of energy toward Master Volitu. I had to act fast. I grabbed a dead soldier from the temple floor using the Force and threw it at Master Volitu. The Sith Master was focusing on the Jedi so she did not see or feel the body coming at her due in part so much was happening at once. The dead body smacked the Togruta Sith with so much force that it knocked her out of the path of the energy wave. Turning my head in the direction of the Jedi, I attempted to do something I never did before; Force throw my lightsaber.

I used both my mind and the Force to control the Lightsaber as it beared down on the Jedi Master. As Fate would have it, he blocked it away with his own weapon and flew threw the air toward me, his lightsaber raised over his head in a killing strike gesture.

Grima sensed her companions had came to lend support in dealing with these soldiers leaving her free to deal with the Jedi Master. Gripping two soldiers by their throat via the Force, she raised them high into the air, slammed them against the ceiling of the Temple and released them dropping them to their deaths. Then she felt it. As she turned around she saw both her Apprentice and the Acloyte, Yr'il, hit by a powerful wave of energy that flung them into walls and obliterating the remaining soldiers.

Grima felt the massive ball of energy coming straight for her but before she could react to it, she was hit by a flying dead solider and knocked from the path of the energy, causing it to smash into the far wall, nearly destroying it. The Sith Witch lept to her feet and saw that Yr'il was unarmed and left herself vulnerable to save her; and the Jedi was in midflight with his weapon pised to strike her down. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a seven foot statue of some ancient creature she never seen nor heard of in a corner guarding only shadows and cobwebs. She reached out with the Force grabbing it and flung it at the Jedi Master with enough force that it not only knocked the Jedi off his course of killing the young Acolyte but with its momentum, slammed the Jedi into the wall.

Reingiting her weapons, she rushed toward the Jedi and struck down with her left blade then her right blade forcing him to parry her attacks as he struggled to rise to his feet. The two Masters, once again, stared into each other's eyes then they launched at each other again. Grima twirled, spun, and jabbed with her two lightsaber blades with so much hatred and anger behind each assualt that the Jedi was being forced backwards until he was nearly pinned up against the wall. The Jedi attempted to parry another attack but with her other arm, she rammed her elbow into the bridge of the Jedi's nose causing to spill blood and his eyes to water. Grima took a step back, turned her back on him, and rammed her two blades into the chest of the Jedi.

Grima felt the Jedi's death in the Force and after a few minutes, retracted her blades from his dead body, powered them down and returned them to her waist belt. She pulled the hood from her purple cloak over her head, adjusted her robes and walked away from the dead Jedi. Stretching out her hand she called Yr'il's lightsaber hilt to her hand and when she stood in front of the white haired Acolyte, said in a mocking tone, "Never part from your weapon unless you are skilled enough to recall it quickly."

Grima looked around the Temple and felt no other presences in the force except the trio of Sith. "We should search this Temple at once. I believe there is something here that led to the corruption of the Jedi which may porve valuable to us. Do you teo agree?"
