Mini-Event Rules​

A skimboard was a form of personal transport that consisted of a long metal board that hovered above the ground via repulsorlifts. Its user, referred to as a skim surfer, rode it in a standing position. Although skimboards are very fast, they are dangerous to ride on. Skimboard Racing is a professional sport that involves the racers riding on their skimboards at high speeds and high altitudes.

Hello everyone, now that Season 2 Hutt Ball has concluded, now I'm feeling the itch for a new event: Skimboard Racing. How Skimboard Racing works is that each player will ride on a skimboard and the skim surfers would compete with each other in a race to the finish line. What do you win? A lot of prize money.

Notes

• This event will be primarily Dice driven.​
• The race will consist of three laps. Each lap will consist of three posting-rounds. Each player rolls a D20 dice to determine speed. The highest collective number rolled over those three posting rounds will cross the finish line first over the lap. At the end of the lap, the event host will make DM posts with the racers total rolls so far.​
• At the end of the third lap, the player with the highest rolls over the course of the three laps will be the winner.​
• A player rolling a Natural 1 results in failure of the skimboard, which will result in a 0 and them being eliminated until the next lap begins.
• A player who rolls a Natural 20 however, can roll an extra d10 dice, which will add to to their total in addition to the 20 itself. (Nats won't apply on the extra roll)
• No force powers, weapons, or attacking other players allowed. No performance enhancing modifications to the skimboards. Just some good ol-fashion skimsurfing.
• Intro posts first, then after 48 hours and other participants have entered, the event host will start the race via DM post.
