[Leon Baudelaire]

Leon strolled the lane sipping an ice coffee as he meandered through the city. His skimboard was tucked under his arm and he was making his way to the skimpark downtown. Life had been hectic to say the least and it was a welcomed respite to find himself alone without being pulled in multiple directions by The Order. His most recent mission with Hera still weighed on his mind and he decided to take a little breather in the sun’s rays surrounded by the psudo-nature in the center of the bustling city.

The sun on his face felt amazing. There was a little breeze drifting by. Leon reached up and rubbed the “X” shaped scar on his cheek. His fingers crackled with golden light and he flinched, snapping out of the blissful revelry.

“Shit!” he said shaking his hand like a bee had stung him. He looked at his hand like it was alien for a moment then finally let out his pent up breath. These manifestations were getting worse and happening more frequently, maybe it was time to tell Hera… He just wasn’t sure how to tell his master he’d somehow tapped into force lightening…

Distracted, he jumped up and ran right into a cute girl. Leon managed to catch her, so she didn’t hit the ground, because, well, honestly, he was a klutz and he’d had a lot of practice catching people he’d run into.

“I’m so so— Whoa, your eyes are really pretty,” then remembering he was holding this poor girl in what looked like a ballroom dancing move he lifted her stepping back and blushing while holding up his hands apologetically and saying, “Sorry, I’m an idiot!”

He took a step back giving her some space and scratching his head and doing his best to win her over with an apologetic smile. One that said, “Please don’t scream or record this and put it on Switter.”

[Zeri Adasca]

Walking down the street, Zeri couldn't help but smile as the sun cast its warming rays across her cheeks and the wind casually blew through her hair. It was an absolutely fucking nice day outside - and of course she was dressed for the weather - so of course that meant Zeri was doing one of her favorite activities: paying attention to absolutely nothing, headphones in her ears and simply vibing.

The music in her headphones must have been bumping even harder than usual since without even seeing him, Zeri ran headlong into someone - or maybe he'd ran face first into her, it was hard to say - and she was able to turn her music just in time for the unreasonable handsome stranger to compliment her eyes.

Not as pretty as your like, whole face, Zeri said before even really realizing the words that were coming out of her mouth. As soon as they registered she could feel the color rising in her cheeks making her face almost the same color as those eyes Leon had complimented.

Before embarrassing herself any more than she already had, Zeri quickly shook her head in protest at Leon's self deprecation and looked to change the subject.

Oh no don't worry about it, I'm never paying attention to where I'm going. She said flashing Leon a smile.

Noticing Leon's skimboard, Zeri arched an eyebrow and gave the boy an impressed look.

Cool skimboard. Heading somewhere fun? She asked, pausing for a moment before tacking on Care if I come?

Leon’s face went crimson at her complement and he struggled to get words out for a breath until his brain caught up. “Well, glad we found some common ground.” he said with a laugh.

“I guess since I plowed into you, I should ask your name so I can officially apologize,” he said with a smirk, “I’m Leon.”

Truth be told Leon had totally forgotten he was even holding a skimboard until she mentioned it. “Thanks,” he shrugged with a smile, “I’m just headed to the Skimpark. Can’t promise it’ll be fun, but you’re welcome to join.”

He nodded in the direction of the park and started heading that way. “So, you a local or are you just passing through?” he asked. He didn’t think he’d seen her around the temple, but then again he hadn’t been around the temple recently.

“Wait, have you ever skimmed before?” he asked, he wasn’t about to force this poor girl to watch him skim all day. That’d be worse than watching paint dry.

“Cause, I could teach you.”

[Zeri Adasca]

Um, local I guess. Zeri said with a shrug as she followed Leon towards the skatepark. I live at the temple but I try to get out as much as I can. Don't get to venture too far usually, not like I have my own ship or anything.

Zeri couldn't wait until she could afford her own ship. There were so many places she wanted to go, things she wanted to see but all of it was just out of her reach. Not that she was resentful about living at the temple, though. Her room was nice and she had a lot of friends there, but something inside her was always pulling her towards adventure.

What about you? Def don't think I've seen you around before, and I'm positive you're someone I would remember. Zeri almost rolled her own eyes at her cheesiness. Oh well, she didn't much care if people thought she was weird or whatever. She just said what was on her mind.

Surprisingly, I've never done it before. I would love for you to teach me, it looks so fun! Plus, that meant she'd get to spend a little more time with Leon before he found something more interesting to do.

As they arrived at the skatepark, Zeri's eyes were instantly drawn to the other skimboarders and the cool tricks and shit they were all doing. It was a little intimidating to say the least.

Whoa, check that out. Zeri said, pointing to a person doing an actual backflip on the skimboard. Can you teach me to do that?

”Wait, the Jedi temple?” he asked, surprise coloring his face, “Me too!” Zuri mentioned not having a ship and he laughed, “Don’t worry as soon as the Council realizes you’re mission ready, you’ll be going everywhere. If you’re itching to fly though you should sign up for a patrol rotation.”

Leon had been flying since he'd been station on Ithor. It was one of his favorite parts about the planet.

“Oh you’d remember me, huh?” Leon teased, “I just got back from Tatooine, you must be a new recruit.”

“Really? Bet! I gotchu then as soon as we get to the skimpark.” he replied, more than a little excited to share what he knew.

The skatepark’s usuals ripped up the slopes. Leon slipped a headband out his pocket and pushed back his hair.

“Pretty dope right!” Maurice nailed a blackflip, “Aye!” shouted Leon, then looking at Zuri, “Hell nah,” he laughed, “But, I can teach you how to ride,” he said with a playful wink.

Maurice threw up a hand sign, and Leon responded in kind. Everything in him wanted to hop on his board and just let loose for a bit, but teaching a cute girl to skim wasn’t a bad trade off. Leon put his board on the ground and offered her his hand.

“First you gotta get it up,” his board was big enough for two, but the space between was tight. “Trust me?” he said, flashing her a mischievous grin.
