He added a title to her name and the redhead instantly felt like she was an old maid being called madam. "Lady." she stated firmly, "Lady Tiamat." she corrected, but allowed him to continue. He revered in her attention and it was difficult to decipher if it were genuine or theatrics, but her inner pondering would pause as they were approached by a young acolyte who introduced herself and immediately threw her Master into the blame for interrupting anything important. The redheaded Sith grinned, but it faded as Xeno seemed to be more dismissive of the acolyte and then inquired her own opinion of kids.

That seemed to be a loaded question and the woman's smiled returned, "Are you making the assumption because I am a women, I know how to better handle children?" she tested the Maurader, glancing to Malou and returning her gaze to the zabrak, she didn't expect him to answer, "Malou, you will find your master will have you go to many parties to introduce yourself, my master did the same thing... mostly because I did not like parties I think." Tia frowned to her thought, wasn't too much of a difference, she didn't like these socials, but they served a purpose. "Come," she held out her arm for Malou to take, "Walk with me." she said and then glance at Xeno, "Join us." she stated, nearly ordering the Maurader to follow behind.

Tiamat could relate to how Malou would be feeling, she felt changing the scene would help, at least what she thought would have helped her if the roles were switched. Besides after the curt exchange with Raze, she felt like she could get out of the same room that he occupied could help.

"No of cour-"

He was cut off by the Lord who then turned her attention to Malou. She had a glance about her towards Xeno that was fairly challenging to rebuttal for. The lady was certainly a hard person to please. Unless you were the submissive kind of person. Xeno was not one for submitting to another, but his respect for her power and status would kick in. He stood silently as the Sith Lord would speak to Malou.

"I was also forced to go to parties and social events by my master. It is quite common for an acolyte to attend such celebrations."

When Lady Tiamat had reached out for the acolyte to take her arm and walk with her, she gave Xeno the order to follow. As any smart Marauder would do, he obeyed and followed behind the woman and child. They were exiting the room with all of the Sith in it. Certainly an unusual thing to do but the Zabrak knew there would be reason behind it. They had come to a balcony of some sort. The air crisp and cold but refreshing after being in a room full of body heat. Should either of the ladies get cold Xeno would be prepared to give his jacket.

"A beautiful view. Wouldn't you agree Malou?"

Xeno stood leaning onto the railings with his arms extended and hands holding onto the rails. He turned to look at Malou and smirked a slight smile. Then back to the mountains covered in snow. It was a lovely sight. It had made up for the cold air. Almost canceling it for the Zabrak himself. The others he had no clue.

"What is your experience with children Madam?"

Never mind being called little one, something she already despised from her father, Malou was slightly offended that the zabrak would immediately turn to the Madame--no, Lady--and refer to her as a child whilst she remained right there. Though she did not react to it as she was well-versed in masking her emotions, she couldn't help but immediately wonder what his problem was. A child? She was nearly sixteen. Granted, she was no adult, but she wasn't a child!

"...you will find your master will have you go to many parties to introduce yourself..."

Though she did not sigh, she came close to. Her whole life had been filled with parties she attended only to introduce herself to others. It seemed she was trading socials amongst nobles for socials amongst Sith. There didn't seem to be too much of a difference so far, other than the incredibly different atmosphere. But the food, music, dancing and pleasantries were all the same.

"Walk with me." Malou obliged and took the lady's arm, letting her guide her to wherever they were meant to go. Malou was unfamiliar with the name Tiamat, but if she was a lady of some name, house, or domain than perhaps it would be easier for Malou to relate to her. It could also be a Sith title, Malou pondered. Though I can't imagine the Sith using titles such as 'Lord' and 'Lady'. Isn't it Darth?

Malou stepped out into the chilly evening. She was born on Serenno--she lived within this castle even--so she was a little more prepared than those coming from off-world. The thick satin of her dress provided enough cover to keep her warm enough for a little while.

"A beautiful view. Wouldn't you agree Malou?"

Malou had come tonight with her eyes covered, so she did not turn her head at the sound of his voice. Through the Force, she could see how he leaned against the railings. She saw the smirk and the way his eyes darted across the landscape. For a moment, she though his comment was funny. As far as he could see, her eyes were completely covered by a waterfall of golden beads and a tightly wrapped silk binding. Maybe Miralukians are more common in the galaxy than they are on Serenno. Still, it was a funny comment. What if she had been truly blind? But she did know what the landscape looked like. Though her true eyesight was poor, she knew where the mountains shaped the blurry sky.

"I'm sure it's very lovely," Malou would finally respond. "Serenno is a beautiful planet outside the cities. I hope you both are enjoying your time on the planet." She wanted it to be known that she was not a stranger to this place, lost in a sea of foreign faces. Though she did not know where Tiamat stood as a lady, if Xeno was only a marauder an nothing else, her name held more power here than his presence.

As she stood on the balcony, arm assumingly still joined with Tiamat's, Malou briefly wondered if her father knew of this gathering. She had not told him, but she would not be surprised if he knew. He was very curious as to what her training consisted of, though she was sparse with the details. Would he be jealous to know that it was not his house welcoming in the Sith? Would he wonder, what would be different if I had not forbidden her to use the Force for so long? She hoped he regretted it.

Prissca paid the Kel Dor about as much heed as he did her, practically ignoring the acolyte as she poured all of her charm and attention into what she considered a much more worthwhile endeavor – ingratiating herself to her host and Darth Stolas. Though truth be told, she could tell the acolyte was attempting to do the same by the way he nearly exploded with gratitude when the Darth directly acknowledged him. Amateur.

When she herself was addressed directly, she would try to show the acolyte how it was done, tilting her head at an attractive angle as she politely corrected Lord Wessex. “You are quite welcome, but do try to call me Lady, my Lord. I'm a bit too old to be called 'miss' anymore, I'm afraid... though I wholly accept the compliment.” She'd smile warmly, reaching out gracefully with one hand to greet him properly, fingers gently curled downwards and her wrist elevated in the noble fashion. “I am Lady Prissca Kersin of the Dromund Kaas Kersins. It's quite the pleasure to finally make both of your acquaintances and, if may I say so, I absolutely love the décor.” She'd pause to let her flattery settle before continuing to speak. “May I ask if it was of your choosing, or is it merely a remnant of the previous regime?”

If she ever got a similar chance to oust her father and brothers to set herself as the head of her House, she'd already long planned to destroy every single scrap cloth and furniture that her father cherished. She even toyed with the idea of burning the entire Estate to the ground just to spite him, but that was neither here nor there.

With his crystal glass pressed to his lips, Jaikus watched the party with keen interest in his eyes. To see so many Sith congregated in one location and there not be any bloodshed was an interesting turn of events. While thankfully absent, Jaikus had heard tales of how the previous party had unfolded and the bloodshed that followed in its wake. He was thankful that tonight seemed relatively tame by comparison.

By now, the majority of his peers had coalesced into groups and were deep in conversations of their own. Most of those in attendance were already well acquainted with each other, giving them a particular advantage over the Axxilan when it came to breaking the ice. Jaikus had considered introducing himself to one multiple Sith Lords in attendance that evening, but had thus far decided against it. After all, barging in and making himself the center of attention was hardly his objective tonight. Thus, he waited in the wings, patiently watching for an opening to engage while sipping down the last of the contents in his glass.

It didn’t take him long to take note of the woman garbed in a black suit and violet tie sticking out like a sore thumb amongst all of the dancing and engaging small-talk. Like him, she lingered at the edge of the room – close enough to observe the events of the night as they unfolded, but distinctly absent from the ongoing socialites.

How intriguing.

Planting his regrettably empty glass down on the tray of a passing droid, Jaikus made his way over to Deva. "Quite the party, wouldn't you say?" He offered her a polite smile, his hands folded neatly behind his back. "I am Jaikus. I can't say I've had the pleasure, miss..?"

There was once a time in her life that she had attended similar events, plastering on a smile, wearing fancy gowns and chatting on the arm of her husband. It had been another lifetime, another woman that stood in heels, smiling that fake smile as credits dropped a heavy weight into her bank account. Now, though, she questioned her sanity for coming here instead of blowing her brains out with spice and drinks. Hell, some of these drinks didn't even punch through the narrow focus of her gaze.

It was the approach of another that made her tilt her head ever so slightly. Like her, he seemed content to stick to the fringes, to watch others as they dropped pretty little crumbs of rumors around the room, drinking and dancing. And yet, when he spoke to her, violet eyes flicked up to his smiling face blankly.

He didn't touch her, didn't hold out his hand; those small actions, though minute to others, meant a great deal to her. She offered a polite smile of her own, tilting her head subtly.
"Deva. A pleasure," she answered.

For a moment, there was a want to say something to fill the awkward silence, but nothing came to mind. The man next to her was entirely unknown to her, and yet he seemed to be like her, observing...

Her lips twitched slightly in bemusement.

"I don't know about you, but I never could stand wearing heels for long," she rasped, violet eyes glinting. "Though I hear they make for good improvised weaponry."

There was no argument from either the acolyte or the marauder as they followed the Sith woman, the acolyte taking the woman's arm as they headed to the corridors outside the grand hall. It would take them to the chilled air of the mountains; the redheaded Sith took in a deep inhale of the fresh air, feeling herself refresh. The Zabrak detoured from the two, pausing as he came to a balcony that overlooked the peaks and the tree tops. She could sense there was more going on in the young woman's head than what she was vocalizing, Xeno commented about the beauty not taking the fact of the matter that the acolyte could not physically see.

Tiamat glanced from Malou to Xeno as they came to the railing; the acolyte seemed to be experienced in handling the oblivious. She smiled as Malou hoped they were enjoying their time here; Tia was a bit bias to her own homeworld, Corellia, but the views here did have a serene feeling to it.

"It reminds me of aspects of my own home." she stated, but did not delve into further explanation or story. "How has your training been, Malou? " she asked her.

"It is going well. I like to think I'm making up for lost years." Malou's father had known of her force sensitivity since her birth, but he had refused to allow her to train until now. Everything she was learning from Artorgias was exciting. In her willingness to learn, nothing had yet to bore her. "I still do not know much of the Sith; tonight is my first time meeting anyone other than my master within the Sith." She would not count her master's sister as they were both in the same boat; training as Sith but unfamiliar with the others within it.

Malou would stay quiet for a moment, thinking to herself. I wonder how long she has been within the Sith? She seemed to be very comfortable ordering Xeno, which meant she was above him in some way. Which meant she was more than a marauder. But she seems so young? Perhaps age doesn't matter as much as... combat prowess? Power? Probably power.

"I've not met any other acolytes yet, so I don't really know where I stand in my training."

"Well Malou, you could always spar against Bir Vuul. He is an acolyte such as yourself. I am sure we could see where your training has gotten you. But for now, we shall enjoy the celebration of, well, me."

Xeno smiled as he looked to the young acolyte and then up to see Tiamat who stood beside her. A slight nod of respect to her would come before he turned his attention back to the scenery. It was far different from Dathomir, and the Zabrak was taking in the sight of more new planetary terrain.

"I really must be on my way soon. What kind of host would I be if I stayed out here all night?"

Before he would begin to leave he would bid farewell.

"M'lady, Malou.. I hope to see you in the future."

Then he would step off back inside to meet the others within.

Raze was surprisingly pleased to hear the marauder fess up and own her behavior. The Sith Lord continued to move as gracefully as ever, light on his feet and commanding the floor. He picked up on how to move and lead her best, and soon she would feel as if she were an expert dancer as well. Raze found the commentary from her amusing, though it wouldn’t manifest in any way externally.

He had pulled her back in by then and the song held an elongated note that gave an opening for him to expertly slide one of his feet forward. His arm wrapped around her lithe waist as he effortlessly dipped her low, visor lingering inches above her face where he held her, “And what, pray tell, is that reputation of mine, Miss LeAnna?” The low baritone rumbled almost teasingly as the metal of his helmet offered her a clear view of her own face gazing upon his.

Was Charlotte the best dancer in the galaxy? She certainly felt that way in the moment. She knew quiet well she had very little do to with the agility of their tango. Raze lead and Charlotte followed. The Hapan Marauder had to do almost nothing to appear galaxy-class on her feet. She almost forgot Raze was fully armored and her eyes stared into vizor. Almost. His voice seemed lighter when he spoke this time. That vizor mere inches from her face. He was teasing her…a Sith Lord. Again, Charlotte opted for the truth.

“The kind of reputation one gets from showing up at fancy parties in full battle regalia.” She smiled slightly. “Most of us rarely come this close to the Lords of the Sith and so we guess at how you might be.” The Order was mostly rank and file. Few Acolytes and Marauders held long conversations with the leaders of the Sith. What they knew of the Sith Lords came from what they saw and what they heard. Charlotte had found Andruil to be extraordinary but she would have never known if that chance meeting after the last party had never happened.

Tiamat's gaze kept to the tree tops, snow had started to fall again, creating an unnatural quiet around the estate. She listened to Malou's response, finding it curious for her to state she was making up for lost years. Her eyebrows rose to her own thoughts as started to say something, but stopped, letting the acolyte continue as she spoke about her satisfaction in her progress, but had yet to meet many other acolytes to see where she stood. The redheaded woman nodded, glancing to Malou and then to Xeno who spoke up again, this time nothing too incriminating as excused himself to return to the party.

"You may not meet very many acolytes." she stated recalling how very little acolytes she met during her training, "Trust your master on your progress, he will know where you stand. You're going to find its hard to compare yourself to others here." she explained and shivered as a breeze cut through. "Come along." she said feeling a bit refreshed from the chill outside and ready to rejoin the others.

Tiamat was quiet for a few steps, "Don't fret over making up for lost years. I started my training later than others too." explained the woman as they entered the the hall.

Raze didn’t miss that the woman purposely dodged answering the question, dancing around it as effortlessly as on the floor. However, she had forgotten that he was still the one leading. He raised her from the dip and continued the dance, grasping her hand and lifting it to allow her to spin under it.

He twirled her out again, their hands outstretched as he circled the floor with her while gazing across at her, “And what is your guess?” There was a confident laziness to his gestures, his fingers just barely grasping hers so she could slip out very easily. However, it was clear that she had his full attention with the way his helmeted gaze fell only on her.

Charlotte spun in and out, her thoughts swirling in time with her body. The room seemed to slip away. She unmistakably had Raze’s full attention. It was an oddly electrifying feeling. She spun out again, briefly considering her words. “The rumors and stories are true.” Charlotte spun inward, her dressing twirling slightly at the bottom. She was close now. “You are our brutal champion.” Her voice was softer as she spoke next. Her heart began to beat faster in her chest. “But so much more I could never have guessed at.” Oh she was still afraid, back in the corner of her mind, shoved far down, but the fear was mixed with clear excitement. The dancing, the amusement in his voice. She never would have dared to think such thoughts.

Their very conversation moved in time with the dance. Charlotte’s left hand flicked out, seeking the music. A flick of the Force and the tunes changed. Gone was the stodgy old waltzing music. In its place came the pulsing favorites of Coruscanti clubs. Her eyes tipped up towards the vizor. She breathed slowly, controlling the thumping in her chest.

“Deva,”Jaikus repeated to himself, nodding his head slightly as if he meant to memorize the name. “A delight to make your acquaintance."

Even with introductions out of the way, Jaikus sustained the pensive and cool demeanor that he had approached her with. His hands remained neatly folded against the small of his back, while his posture was stiff and straight as a durasteel plate. He maintained a polite enough smile through the momentary silence, though there was admittedly little emotion behind the expression. It would have been difficult for Deva to glean much information from his face, but one thing was clear – he was observing her just as intently as she was him.

To his credit, Jaikus did seemed to perk up as he listened to her break the silence, a single dark brow elevating slightly as the subject turned from names to footwear. Slowly but surely, his polite smirk widened into a toothy grin as he huffed a laugh through his nostrils. “Do they now? A clever innovation, to be sure. And given the.. Historical precedent of these gatherings, who knows – perhaps it might end up being useful before nights end." Spotting a passing server droid, Jaikus couldn't help himself but to pluck another glass from the tray, eyeing the crimson liquid through the crystal glass. "I do commend you, though. While I consider myself a man of a great many talents, I fear I lack the coordination necessary to make it through an hour in a pair such as those.”

The Sith brought a hand up to passive scratch at the stubble on his chin, shrugging his shoulders a bit after a brief pause. "To be honest, parties such as these never were my forte. I fear a lifetime of galas and charity dinners have left me with little appetite for the socialities. But," He clicked his tongue, smirking ever so slightly. "..Thankfully, the drinks aren't half bad."

"And you, my lady? Do you find yourself at home in these sort of gatherings?"

It was unfortunate that other acolytes seemed to be small in number. She had already come to terms that many may not wish to be her friend, but what she didn't expect was just a general lack of them. I guess training goes by quickly? Either that, or the Sith just weren't as interested in taking in apprentices as maybe the Jedi were. The Jedi... Speaking of, she had completely forgotten there was another force faction out there. What she knew of them was little, but her family was not found of them. They stuck their hands in things that did not concern them.

Malou followed Tiamat back into the hall, feeling the rush of warmth run over her skin as they stepped back inside. The cold had just started to bite into her; their return was good timing.

"I'm not worried about starting late, I just wish I had started sooner." With that, Malou would give Tiamat a small bow of her head. "I am going to go find my master. Pleasure making your acquaintance, Lady Tiamat. I hope we speak again soon." Malou did quite like Tiamat. She was not as intimidating as the others here, but Malou had no doubt (due mostly to Xeno's reactions to her) that she held power. Malou could not mistake the density of the Force around her.

While she bowed, Malou searched the room for the familiar figure of her master. She found him quickly. He stood amongst a few others--a lady in a tight dress, and a Kel Dor speaking with a man in fine robes. Malou was not familiar with any of them, but their conversations did not seem to be exclusive. She supposed they were just paying their respects to the host of the party.

Then acolyte then made her way over to the four, waiting for a short lull in the conversation before arriving near to her master's side. She didn't say anything yet, but instead opted to observe the three others here. The lady in the tight dress seemed to be well-educated in these sort of gatherings. "I am Lady Prissca Kersin of the Dromund Kaas Kersins..." Ah, well, that made sense then. Have I met any nobles from Dromund Kaas? Malou wasn't sure. She knew of Dromund Kaas, but not of its nobles. She would ask her father the next time they spoke. The Kel Dor, on the other hand, did not seem to be of noble origin. He was very talkative, and seemed a little... well, she couldn't put her finger on it. The man he was speaking with, however, seemed important. Her master seemed to respect him, and the Force was weaved tightly around him. They just keep getting stronger and stronger... I wonder how I look, within the Force?

Malou would give her master a nod and stand quietly by his side for now.

Emryc moved to the music with her as she came in towards him after the spin. When she spoke, he said nothing, still seeing the fear in her. It was obvious she had more to say, but couldn’t bring herself to do it.

“Brutal?” He queried simply, amusement still in his tone. He tugged her into a spin again as the music began to shift, grasping the hand she had raised. Emryc leaned in close to her ear while she was gazing out at the crowd, “I suppose I will have to keep you guessing.”

With that, he released her and stepped back. He had given her plenty of chances to be bold and take the lead, but Emryc Thorne got bored easily. He wouldn’t play with someone that had no fire in them. The Sith Lord eyed her for a moment longer before preparing to make his way over to grab a drink.

She smirked back at his own expression at the topic broached, shifting on the balls of her feet. True, she could have opted for wearing flat shoes, but... it was the click of heels on stone, the feeling of strength and power when she strode into a room that she still clung to such vanity, even though she was far from the sparkliest gem at the ball. "Always come prepared," she murmured with a slight grin still on her lips, finishing the last of her drink and setting it on a passing tray, then snagging another.

At the mention of feeling at home, there was a one-shouldered shrug, violet eyes staring up into his own with a half-shuttered gaze.
"In another lifetime, maybe." But then there was something... watching Darth Raze part from the lady Charlotte, she felt a moment of curiosity flare to life, almost in spite of her unwillingness for human contact. Or any contact, really. Her eyes watched the man's retreating steps for a few more beats, before deciding to answer his question.

"I find people intriguing." A sly smile tugged on her lips, humor flashing to life. "With all this contained, simmering ambition... Now, if it came to what we all really wanted, I find that more intriguing. What is it you really want, Jaikus?" she spoke up, flashing him a brief glance before once more observing the party.

"I know precisely what I want from this galaxy. But you'd perhaps find it boring."

Xeno had made it back to the party inside, though his suit still had Bir's spilt drink on the back. It was time to change into something else. Leaving the room he would find another room. The only thing within it that was nice and actually fit him, was a set of armor so the Zabrak sighed and then began changing. Once he was finished putting it on, he looked in the mirror and chuckled.

"Not bad Artorigas.. Not bad at all.."

Then he left the room and made his way back to the room with all of the Sith. Looking around he noticed that Darth Raze was free but, Xeno still needed to work up just a little more nerve to do any interaction with him. Instead he found a pair of Sith standing to the side speaking. He would invite himself into the conversation. The last question she asked would be what Xeno would start off with.

"Well what I want would be to become the most powerful Sith in the Order. Though I don't see that happening anytime soon.. Xeno, who might you two be?"

The Zabrak stood tall next to the others and had a surprising amount of comfortability in the attire he had acquired. A smile on his face and a drink in his hand. Yes this was all different than usual for Xeno.

Stolas seemed to have found himself within an epicenter of social activity by going to greet the host. Now a woman in a classic red dress had appeared as well, her bearing that of a woman practiced in noble's ways. Morgan inclined his head in reply to this new presence. Bir meanwhile bowed several times with great energy and one of the Firrerreo's brows raised slightly at the sight. Something shifted in the Kel'dor along with the music.

But what drew his attention first was the host's continued attention and that particular sort of smile on his face. It was an expression he knew well, a go-to tool of sycophants. He saw it often on the faces of fawning hopefuls, suggested suitors, and officials seeking favour. At least it was honest and straightforward in its own way.
"I'm fond of brandy," Morgan informed Artorigas while he considered the man's ambitions. "A Count of Great Houses? You have a castle already." His lips curled upward a little on one side with amusement. "And usurpation of a sector of ancient families, oho. But of kings and kingdoms, whose crown will you wear?" His tone was quite conversational although his hawk-eyed gaze remained on the host for a few more moments than was strictly needed.

He finished his champagne and passed off the glass to a server as they walked by, his gaze moving to the side and settling on Bir.
"Are you asking for my help?" As much as Morgan danced around subjects and played his games, dancing was a thing that moved back and forth as much as it circled and spun. That was just the way of his family.

"Lady Kersin, then," he continued on smoothly, goldens finding the bright-haired Prissca. "I do believe I met your father quite recently." Something about the memory seemed funny to the Dark Councilor based on his expression.

Another acolyte joined their little group and goldens moved to her as well. Malou would find the sensation of being watched lingered briefly even after the Firrerreo's eyes moved on.
"One of yours, Artorigas?" She was standing directly next to him with a sense of deference after all. Morgan's eyebrows rose as the music seemed to shift from a classic style to club music. The contrast with the old castle was the funniest thing yet and his desire for long conversation was drifting away with the sounds of thumping bass.
