OOC: Open to Sith/Imperials

Music

The newly rechristened Party Bus 2 - Oceanic Busaloo, a yacht purchased by the day's anonymous host from the ruined fortunes of a now dead Hutt, sat moored a mile out from the beach. A three layered beast, with bars aplenty, dance floors on each level, and filled to the brim with attractions meant to satiate a Hutt's desires, it was playing host to a gathering unlike any other.

As the sun began to set, Sith, Imperials, and tag-alongs with the right contacts were beginning to arrive. Be it by boat, by air, or in some cases even by swimming over, the party-goers were showing up to what was rumored to be the Sith event of the season. Drinks were flowing, music was in the air, and the mood was beginning to set. And even though drugs were "technically" banned following the catastrophic fallout of a prior event on Taris, Sith had their ways to bring some aboard anyway.

An hour or so had passed since the official beginning of the party, and things were finally kicking off!

The Kaleesh champion quite honestly was beginning to wonder why he was even here. This was not at all his typical....how to say, scene. Loud pop music had been blaring since Brekis had stepped off the skiff that'd brought him out to the yacht for this "social event" as it been called. The sun was blasting today and Brekis simply tried to not seem out of place. He was told that the wear needed to be relaxed and breezy so he'd done his best to find something that matched the vibe but felt borderline naked in this....beach wear.

He'd been nursing some extremely sweet drink with a small umbrella in it for close to 20 minutes at this point and he awkwardly walked around the deck of the ship. So far no one had approached him but he knew it would only be a matter of time. Though he felt out of place he knew he had to eventually get to know more of his fellow Champions if he was ever to advance his own agenda within the Empire. "Networking" as some had called it. So he would stay and keep walking, sipping his fruity drink, though as songs changed Brekis found himself bobbing his masked head along to the beat. He couldn't tell if it was the relaxed vibe or not but he was beginning to let his guard down a bit.

The soldier's limp had been getting much better, his left foot still somewhat raw and sore as it obviously effected his stride. It mostly was just an awkward step, but he still was walking at his normal pace. He made sure to bandage the wound well, and hid it under his loafers. He had recently gotten aboard the ship, readjusting his straw hat, the open Hawaiian shirt blowing in the wind as he stepped aboard. The blaster pistol he always carried with him thumped against the cargo shorts he wore, the leather belt holster also effected by the light breeze.

He was obviously fit, as his abbs clear for all to see. The first drink tray he found, he picked up a martini glass and gently took a sip from it. The Sith probably were going to be boozing it up tonight, so he knew he would need to be atleast somewhat sober or else things may end up to weird for his taste. This drink was... well it was good rich person drink but it was obviously way to expensive for what it was. The name probably was the thing that brought the price up. But for now, he mostly would slightly limp around and take a sip from his martini glass.

Where there was a party, there was an Altair. He had been away fighting during the last social, so he was hellbent on making it to this one. Unlike the usual case of Sith that awkwardly showed up at these things and wondered why they were here, Altair Din knew this was where he was supposed to be. The tiefling always oozed far more confidence than was healthy, something that was a drastic shift from when he first came over to the Sith. Gone was that wallflower that kept to himself and was self conscious about his appearance because of the prejudice against tieflings. Now he knew he could light someone up if they had the guts to talk shit to his face and he knew at least a few ladies that wouldn’t mind getting to know him a little better.

Par for the course, Altair was already baked in advance, having done some herbs before he showed. He was dressed in a showy tank top and short, tight swimming trunks that fit nicely around his buns of steel and chiseled thighs. Years of doing the Emryc Thorne fitness routine was paying off and his joke of a tanktop showed off bulging pecs and biceps. His tail swished back and forth eagerly as he strode out onto the deck. He wore a bandana across his forehead, his jet black hair pluming above it.

Altair had a beer bottle in each hand as he stepped to the beat of the music, jutting his chin in greeting towards the others gathered and offering them a grin. He took a long swig of one of his beers before he honed in on the Imperial dude daintily sipping from a martini. As someone currently enrolled at the prestigious Ziost military academy, Altair recognized a lot of Imperials these days. The tiefling scoffed and sauntered right over, setting down one of his beers.

“Sup dude,” He said cheerfully, “Altair,” He extended a hand to shake, “Quit drinkin’ like a bitch and do a shot with me,” He said as he snapped his fingers for a server droid to make its way over. He grabbed two shot glasses each filled with an icy blue drink. He thrust one of the glasses into Coffey’s hands and kept one for himself, “Ready?”

Social by her very nature, there was quite literally zero chance that Vahliri was going to miss a Sith party - least of all one that was hosted on someone else’s yacht. For weeks, the half-Annfyn found herself busier than ever - consumed by the stream of Imperial missions and her own participation in two planetary invasions. As a result, Vahliri was rather looking forward to an opportunity to let loose and relax amongst her peers, meet some of the newcomers and bathe in the warm sun.

Not far behind the others, Vahliri stepped onto the deck of the yacht - idly running a hand through her
loosely-styled, black hair. The half-Annfyn was dressed in a matching white bikini top and sarong that hugged her waist - flaunting some of the clear definition on her arms and stomach that the half-Annfyn had developed over the years, while the color perfectly contrasted against her dark skin. The air around her was lightly scented in her signature perfume, a single touch that never seemed to change wherever the woman went.

Even as she began to cross the deck, Vahliri couldn’t help but languidly sway her hips to the beat - music reverberating through her fluted ears and sending vibrations down into the bottoms of her feet. She was ever at home when dancing, and the current song-choice already filled her with the desire to move onto the floor. As she walked, Vahliri passed by the Kaleesh who was wandering around the perimeter of the deck - offering the fellow Champion a small wave of her hand in greetings. She already had her destination in mind, but the half-Annfyn jutted her chin towards the bar - inviting the man over if he so chose.

Naturally, it didn’t take Vahliri very long to spot a familiar face and set of horns beside another Sith - the sight immediately causing her ears to swivel and twitch around of their own accord. A wide smile tugged at her lips as the half-Annfyn waltzed her way over, greeting Altair with a flutter of her fingers after the pair had taken their shots, “Hey Altair!” She said jubilantly, her expression beaming. It was took to see him - and as her amber eyes flicked down to his attire - the half-Annfyn couldn’t deny that damn that fitness routine was paying off. “You look great,” She smirked, “Always did think the tank tops looked good, as hell on you” She said, repeating the same thing she had told him back at the Taris party years ago. Her gaze lingered for a moment or two more before flicking over to the man she didn’t know, “I’m Vahliri. Nice to meet you,”

With that, the half-Annfyn turned her attention to the bar - flagging down a drink for herself as others began to arrive.

The Nightsisters of Dathomir did not look favorably on technology, what was new, what was different. They did not like being far from home, far from nature, from the balance it brought them. Alia was a Nightsister of Dathomir, and so her reaction to the technological monstrosity that was the site of this gathering, about as devoid of anything natural as it was possible, was very obvious. She loved it!

The four years she had spent away from Dathomir had changed who she was, making her realize just how much she had been missing out on all her life. To hell with nature, to maintaining the balance. Useless, senseless drivel, the lot of it. Like any of that mattered when she could be downing shots like there was no tomorrow, watching whatever she desired on SpaceFlix, listening to actual music, and at occasions like these cozying up to a Sith hunk with the body of a Hapan god...or goddess. No, life was good, better than it had ever been on Dathomir.

She had arrived at the party via boat, dressed in a moderately revealing dress with bikini underneath in case the party ever moved to the water. She was here to suck every drop of enjoyment out of this party, and she'd be damned if she wasn't dressed to match that determination.

Noticing a small gathering of Sith who seemed to be mostly close to her in age, and attractive enough to draw her eye from across the room, she wandered over, stepping into the group from behind the tall tiefling. "Nice horns." She whispered as she slipped past him as she walked up to the group, before letting her eyes linger on the girl with the pointy ears and flashing a smile towards her. She was about to follow it up with some sort of ice breaker, only to be interrupted by the arrival of a server droid, carrying a tray full of shot glasses filled with a deep purple liquid.

"Ohhh, shots!" She reached forward enthusiastically and picked up a glass, "To us!"

They were an absolute, complete, utter... killer, at the last Sith social they had been to. Not in a sense that they knocked every single party goer on their feet with just their looks, no. They killed it being a wallflower who just stood back, drank non-alcoholic drinks, and ate finger foods while avoiding whatever spotlight they thought they'd be under if they started talking to their fellow Sith.

Their late Master would be exasperated at the sight and lack of interaction.

And yet here Lu was once again, on a luxurious yacht and another social, wearing their most modest swimwear underneath a rather goofy-looking hooded poncho beach... robe... thing. If there was something to be proud of at the moment, it was that they had managed to keep the hood down up to this very moment. And if there was another thing to be proud of, it was their sudden urge to approach a fellow Sith and offer him a polite greeting, neck craning up to look at the giant Kaleesh (@Okoju) in a beachwear with their typical neutral expression.

(They didn't notice the pretty Champion who caught their attention during the previous social. Lu would've blushed if they did.)

The Kaleesh seemed to be enjoying the music, bobbing his head along with the beat. With a voice as soft and quiet as theirs, Lu spoke loudly – too loudly to cause some heads to turn their way.

"HELLO, SIR. I HOPE YOU DON'T MIND ME HANGING 'ROUND YOU."

Choosing to take some time to kick back, put cool to the max, and relax, Draugr would find himself on a ycht caught by Sith thanks to the death of a Hutt. A generous gift to the victors this yacht was, and now he gets to enjoy a good dip in the pool with fellow Sith. Usually grumpy and crude, he tends to lighten up after a few drinks and a good song. Dressed in his swim trunks and unbuttoned beach shirt, complimented by a black pair of slip on sandals he would fit the look of the theme all of the younger Sith were going for. Their sense of fashion was all over the place but he figured this would work with their styles.

Observing the area he would find a few familiar faces and others unfamiliar. He knew Altair, Vahliri, and Luw, but these other faces were new to him. It was time to make a first impression for them, even if they already know him from reputation. The young Sith seemed to be doing much of the same, if they hadn't known them already.

Grabbing a nearby bottle of gin, he would look for a fine chaser. Just then a drunken member of the order had been stumbling by with an almost full bottle of strawberry soda. Without missing a beat the Zabrak would grab the bottle and rip it from the loose grip of the drunken fool and before they could turn to confront the horned Dathomiri, he would be grabbed by one of his firends in his group pulling him away.

Ignoring the reaction of the man, regardless of what it was the Zabraki Master made his way to the couple familiar faces as well as the new individuals.

"Hey guys, and ladies. The party is great isn't it?"

Then noticing one of the new faces with recognizable features to that of the natives of his planet, always glad to see a fellow Dathomiri in the order.

"A fellow Dathomiri, welcome Sister. I haven't seen you around the Empire before, how long have you been in?"

He would tilt the bottle of gin to the nightsister as a way to offer another shot.

Caelian didn't have to be asked twice about a boat party, and had enthusiastically arrived early to get in a quick swim before making his way over from the nearby shore. There was a delightful calm to the water, and its warmth was a healthy tonic to all the stresses and wear of recent times. Some time had passed and ahead he could see the party had started to pick up, it seemed time to join the fun. Making his way to one of the ladders attached to the boat, Caelian climbed up to the deck that seemed most lively and looked for somewhere to change.

He removed a towel and loose fitting shirt from a waterproof bag that was strung around his back and placed it over his neck after a getting a little more dressed, some more spare clothes and other items remained inside the bag. Caelian stood quietly in the sunlight, enjoying its effect scattering over his back while he dried his hair.

Shortly afterwards, Caelian eyed a bottle of rum on a nearby table and took it along with a glass. There were many drinks to sample tonight, but there was nothing wrong with starting with something that he was most familiar with, chuckling to himself. Content with his choice, he scanned around and joined in, initially speaking near @Draugr

"The party's just getting started! I'm down for some shots"

Oh, Arla had heard about Sith parties from her mother, and it was with a mixture of hesitation and excitement that she came to this one. Apparently people had a tendency to die at gatherings like this, though as this wasn't an officially hosted event, maybe it wouldn't turn out that way.

She'd arrived in a aqua blue bikini top and sarong that she'd bought just for the occasion, and arrived at the boat just in time to hear a catchy tune playing over the speakers. She couldn't help bobbing her head slightly to the beat as she glided across the deck to the bar area.

Truth was, she didn't know very many people here. Most of her training had been done on Dathomir, and it meant her socialization with others had been almost nonexistent. What she was surprised by was to see another Nightsister and Nightbrother here. She didn't go over to greet them primarily because she didn't want to risk them figuring out who she was, and so instead she ordered a drink before sliding over closer to Brekis who was the only face she actually knew here.

Hey Brekis! she said, noting the pink-haired girl also greeting him.

I'm Arla. I don't think we've met, she said to the girl in greeting.

The wind blew viciously through Wodan’s hair, the sea spray stinging his face as the Jet Ski sliced across the low waves of the ocean. He had arrived early as usual so had taken the time to grab one of the four Jet Skis the yacht was equipped with and went for a ride around the bay they were moored in. His thin black open shirt slapped against his back as it whipped around in the air.

Cresting around the bay edge his eyes gazed over at the yacht, even from this distance he could see that it was starting to get busy. More than just the early risers had turned up and he was sure the fun was about to begin. Leaning to one side and twisting he turned the Jet Ski away from the open sea and back towards the party.

The beat of the music’s bass could just about be heard over the roaring of the engine and the thump of the Jet Ski hitting the surf, when the craft lost all power. The drag of the sea quickly brought the Acolyte and the vehicle to an immediate stop. He was over a hundred metres away, but could easily identify Altaris on the Yacht, though he didn’t recognise anyone else.

He tried in vain for a few minutes to get the thing to start but it was no good and the tide was pulling him further out from the party. Shouting got him nowhere, the music was too loud. “I hope my Holo is waterproof.” He said to himself, before taking a dive into the ocean.

The clear blue water of the planet allowed him to see straight down to the reef below, fishes of a hundred different colours swam around the corals. A few kicks and he was back on the surface, slowly making his way through the low surf towards the boat. He hoped no one would mind the Jet Ski slowly drifting off into the sunset.

Before the Sith even finished his sentence, the soldier had down both the martini and the ship at once, before setting both empty glasses on the droid's tray. The soldier gently cleared his throat and nodded to the female, before he let out a soft chuckle. He knew this was the party animal he had heard all about in legend, so this apparently was going to be a much more eventful night than he woul9d have guessed.

"So you are the party animal I have heard about. Greeting, I am Coffey Curran. Lieutenant in the Foreign Legions. I do not drink for the sake of drinking though, Altair, I drink for flavor. Trust me, back in the academy I had enough booze to sink this boat. I'd reccomend a Spira Vice, it is certainly a splash of flavor. Or maybe a chocolate whiskey if you prefer something harder. Which reminds me..." be snapped his fingers and whistled a soft yet shrill whistle to snag a droids attention. "... one Spira Vice and a Chocolate Whiskey for my friend here. Would you like anything... Vahliri?"

He took a genuine pause to remember his name, he wasn't used to interacting with more than one person at a time that wasn't droid in a social setting. He felt like he was the biggest fish out of water here: being probably one of the few non Force Sensitives on this boat. Coffey was here mostly to network with these people, trying to gather jobs and missions and the like. To him, he was not here to drink and party per say, that was side objectives none the less, but he wanted mostly to look into the eyes of those he had a feeling he would be working with. He had a feeling that maybe this is what his brother would have done before... no the news was still to raw. He would not dwell on that. For now, he is here for fun.

A man walked up to Draugr wearing black robes. He carried a plastic bottle of red liquid. A skull like a gerbil's floated inside. John drank from it and wiped his mouth.

Since the last party had taken an interesting turn of events, Nova was rather hyped for this event. Admittedly, when an event was promoted and advertised as the 'one top event of the season', Nova's spirits were usually dampened as only very few events could live up to such standards, but thought she'd give it a try, especially because she was in the mood for drinks.

When she arrived at the yacht with a speedboat at sunset the party was slowly beginning, which was clearly a good thing, as this meant that the alcohol levels weren't too high yet and so she could hop right in. As she disembarked, the flowing black fabric around her waist drifted alongside her as the wind let the sarong fly, but she soon had to realize that many ladies had the exact same idea with their outfits, what slightly annoyed the acolyte.

However, she then simply decided to take it with humor and so she simply tried to ignore it while she confidently headed towards the Sith Master @Scoobert, a very new face @Wit and the champion @Xorism next to him. "Did anyone say shots? Count me in!". Her mood was irregularly good today and she was definitely down to join them, but as she quickly let her gaze wander towards the setting sun she suddenly spotted another acolyte she had seen before @Braden.

"What the-" she began slighlty irritated before she spotted an abandoned Jet Ski in a distance. "Seems like someone is about to make an interesting entrance" she then concluded with an amused smirk as she turned back towards the group of Imperials.

The fresh inquisitor hadn't really met many other siths, recently christened and beginning work for the Black Hands was daunting and stressful enough. However, his currency was his files and he could only guess that in his line of work, at some point he would have to act against those he called associates. And so, as word of a social gathering came to his ear, Yaerius gladly took the opportunity to make a presence. He was here for part business and part pleasure; certainly in this season and with this heat, it would be both beneficial and refreshing to catch some natural sunlight and dampen in the moisture of the seas. The thought of alcohol and potential drugs was alluring, but he was a young man who despite his position, still had his vices. And so, neither of those could be outright excluded.

As the party was underway, the whirring sounds of a
powerful speedboat could be heard in the near vicinity. Its turbine engine kicking leaps of splashes behind it as the vessel cut a quick path through the body of water on its way towards the Yacht. Its neon green tint mixed with ebony console and pilot center definitely gave it an elegant yet intimidating distinction. As it slowly came to a stop near the base of the larger boat, only a single man could be seen coming off it. Yaerius hopped lightly onto the bottom step of the Yacht, slowly climbing upwards into the main level.

A brisk smile complimented the
crisp white linen suit he was wearing today, the top two buttons of his shirt undone to allow visualization into the defining lines of his pectorals. Several runic Sith tattoos marking his clavicle and lower neck region were visible, almost extending to the inferior edge of his jawline. He approached the others, nodding towards Caelian and Nova @Xorism @LadyRen first before moving near Altair and Vahliri. A firm path on Altair's back was given, his hand extending into a shake. "I've heard alot about you, but haven't had the pleasure to be formally introduced. I'm Bradford Algo." @Sreeya

After a brief pause, Yaerius turned his attention towards Vahliri, extending his hand in a shake as well. "Congratulations on your victory at Eriadu." @Altaris

Soleil had been there the whole time! Sort of, anyway; the half-Wrean was waterborne, diving deep down in the ocean around the yacht's travel path as people showed up and things got started. After years of Korriban's unforgiving training regimen and doing things for the ongoing war, Sol was downright ecstatic about a party on the water. Korriban academy had tons of parties, but alas, very little water that wasn't full of chlorine.

His body cut through the water with natural ease as he tracked a jetski's path from below. As @Wodan dove into the water and looked toward the reefs below, he'd notice Soleil wearing a simple pair of red swim shorts quickly ascending from the ocean depths. Both hands and feet bore aquatic webbing, sending him soaring through the sea, and he had a waterproof satchel's strap slung over his front. One hand was occupied by a thick rope that lead to the ocean floor.

Noticing Wodan, he waved in passing, his fish followers turning to look at Wodan as well. Soleil then shot up toward the surface near the yacht, leaping from the water to land feet-first atop the lowest party deck. 'Yar-har!' he projected his greeting openly to the various Sith nearby. 'I come with gifts of pirate booty.'

Bare muscle shone in the sun, torso bare except for two necklaces. Hair slicked back by water had a bit of stray seaweed stuck to it. The beginnings of different tattoos he'd picked up on Korriban intermixed with various scars across his skin. He firmly grabbed the rope in both hands and started hauling it hand-over-hand onto the deck, powerful leg muscles firmly planted. Heaving, Sol pulled his loot up the yacht's side, using the Force to lift it onto the deck with a hefty ker-thump.

Tied up with rope was a collection of waterlogged objects. One of them was obviously a huge, fully sealed wooden barrel with RUM 100ABY written on it in faded aurebesh. A cloth sack was full of random bottles, all filled with different unlabeled alcohols. The last object was definitely a treasure chest currently kept shut with a rusted-to-all-fuck padlock. He untied the huge barrel, plopped it heavily down on the deck, slapped a soaking-wet pirate-y hat from the pile onto his head, and with a cheeky grin announced, 'Yo-ho-ho and a barrel of rum!'

Altair glanced over as Vahliri (@Altaris)arrived, wearing an incredible fit as usual. At this point with all the battles and missions she had led and won, she was among the most decorated Champions in the Order. He thought back to when he had first met her and how clueless they both were. He was completely unaware of the dazed look or the stupid smile on his face as he looked at her. Altair quickly shook himself out of it, flashing one of his usual confident grins.

“And why you always gotta be the hottest girl at these things?” He quipped back as he leaned in to give her a quick one armed hug, the other still holding a beer. Altair took a side glance as a girl (@Wit) he hadn’t met complimented his horns. Now that always caught his attention and made him flustered, but he did a double take when he noticed it was another tiefling. It had been years since he had seen a tiefling that wasn’t family. Altair stared after her in wonder, heat rising to his face, “Thanks….” He mumbled under his breath long after she passed by.

The tiefling looked back at the Imperial (@Issachar ) as he prepared for the shots. His smile began to fade almost immediately as Coffey gave a lecture about how he didn’t drink just to drink. The man barely completed his sermon before Altair’s eyes glazed over and he interrupted, “Aight dude, all you had to say was that you were a chaperone,” He said as he gingerly took back the shot glass he had given Coffey. What a buzzkill.

Altair was about to toss back both shots when he felt a tap on his back, swiveling around to spot a new face (@Faded), “Good things I hope,” He flashed Bradford a smile as he handed him the shot that he snatched back from Coffey, “Bottoms up!” He cheered before tossing it back.

This was when a few others were looking out to sea and Altair followed the line of sight to spot Wodan making his way over in a jet ski. He waved at the acolyte and watched as the jetski completely puttered out and died. Altair watched the poor guy jump into the water, “Aww bruh..” He groaned to himself, setting his drink down as he immediately made his way towards the edge of the yacht. Since the harrowing mission they had together, Altair couldn’t deny he had a soft spot for all three acolytes that had joined him in that endeavor.

Altair watched Sol pop up in the water and breeze right past Wodan struggling against the currents to make a showy entrance and rolled his eyes. The tiefling went to the edge of the yacht and coiled the Force around Wodan, tugging him towards the boat so the currents couldn’t carry him away. Once the acolyte was near, Altair reached down and helped hoist the man up, slapping a hand on his back as he grinned, “Damn, you just have to make a dramatic entrance. You okay, man?” He chuckled as he floated over a mixed drink and handed it to Wodan to enjoy. He threw an arm around the soaking wet acolyte’s shoulders, leading him back towards the main group, “On the bright side, your pale ass can finally catch some sun while you dry off.”

It seemed like shots never failed at getting a party going, and the ever-growing circle of revelers was proof of the fact. Alia didn't care, the more the merrier, as long as there were enough drinks to go around. She downed her shot, and was about to pick up another as she was greeted by the Dathomiri Sith Master. She knew who he was, and given how the sisters back home treated anyone like him, she actually found herself even more interested in knowing more about Nightbrothers like him.

"Master Draugr," she replied, holding out her emptied glass for him to fill, "thank you." She raised the glass in a salute and was about to down it when Dragur was approached by someone. Her eyes were immediately drawn to the glass he carried, with a skull inside. Not knowing much about Dragur, she wasn't sure if he was used to things like this, and not wanting to insult the man she smiled awkwardly. "I...err. Do you need to deal with that?"

Letting him deal with the skull-sipper, she turned her attention to those who remained, the one someone had called Vahliri, and a new arrival. "So," she said as she shot down her drink once more, "anyone up for some drinking games? Spin the bottle, kings," she gave Vahliri a wink as she finished, "seven seconds in heaven?"

She had intentionally raised her voice as she asked the question, so that anyone nearby could also hear, specially all the hotties who were beginning to show up.

The Lieutenant took the drinks he ordered and shipped from the Vice, nodding slowly. This one was mixed better, with the daiquiri was just a hair more plentiful in the glass than the pina colada, giving the drink a much fruitier punch. He chuckled softly and smiled, slowly pulling the tiny umbrella from the drink and set it in Altair's (@Altair Din) hair, from the best angle he could get at putting it above his ear.

"Oh cheer up lad, I am certain even though I'm probably old enough to be your dad I won't act like one. Come on, this little number," and his head softly motioned to Alia, "has mentioned something about games. I suggest we play kings to see if I still have the party animal in me." To be quite honest Coffey himself didn't even know if was still had his resilience. And being around a bunch of drunk Force Sensitives sounded... dangerous. But oh well, if that is what he had to do to get on their good side so be it.

Though he may have looked cool and confident, Coffey knew he was lying to himself. It was easy to disguise how he truly felt, and here he was terrified. He never really socialized with anyone other than his droid crew, atleast not for the past... oh lord it's already been well over five years. Droids he could get, they had some logic. Bit these people were... he in a way was petrified. They were not something he was used to in this setting; giving him orders for a mission maybe, but not here. The butterflies in his stomach weren't just fluttering, it was like snubfighters dogfighting down there.

The smile on Vahliri’s lips didn’t dim in the slightest - her entire expression lighting up as she turned to regard Altair. For all the years she had been a Sith, the Tiefling was the one person she had known the longest and was one of the closest two. For all of the ways they had changed as individuals, some things never did - and it was reflected in the almost giddy way that the half-Annfyn looked up at him while completely blanking on the rest of her surroundings. She didn’t miss the almost dazed expression on his face - and the half-Annfyn couldn’t help the way her cheeks shifted a deeper shade of red at his compliment, heat suddenly rising up in her face.

More notably, though, was the way that her fluted ears practically did cartwheels on the sides of her skull - swiveling and flicking around with a mind of their own. It was a completely involuntary reaction, one that the half-Annfyn had little awareness of when it happened, and it would always speak volumes more than the woman said. “What can I say,” Vahliri said, leaning in to tightly return the hug before smiling up at him, “Gotta look my best when I know you’re around.” Confidence dripped from her words, a bit of playfulness dancing in her eyes before she turned her attention towards the rest of the party.

“I'm alright - thank you though, Coffey,” She smiled towards the Imperial Lieutenant, politely declining his offer with a smile. After the chaperone comment from Altair, the half-Annfyn opted not to accuse the man of being too porg-shit to handle the shots - but she was certainly thinking it.

Vahliri glanced back ahead, her gaze settling upon Alia as she stepped into the group - throwing a compliment towards Altair before smiling in her direction. The half-Annfyn offered a wiggle of her fingers in return, a smile tugging wide on her lips. “Hey,” She began, “I'm Vahliri,” Her attention promptly turned the arrival of the shot glasses, and without another word, the half-Annfyn plucked one for herself - smirking towards the female Tiefling before throwing it back. “To us!”

By the time she set down the empty glass, the half-Annfyn’s gaze was drawn towards the newest addition to the group - her gaze briefly flicking down to the suit that Bradford was wearing before flashing him a smile. “Thank you,” She said in return, this time extending a hand to give his a firm, professional shake. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Bradford. Nice suit,” She smiled. Her gaze shifted just a bit, offering Draugr an nod of her head as well.

She turned to watch as Altair went off to rescue Wodan from being swept out to sea, spotting as Soleil made his entrance at roughly the same time. The half-Annfyn greeted the Wrean with a friendly wave of her hand before returning her gaze to the returning Tiefling and Firrerreo, “Wodan,” She smiled brightly. “Glad to see you weren’t taken out to sea,” The half-Annfyn snickered a bit, playfully poking fun at the Acolyte before turning her attention back to Alia.

“Hell yeah - I’m down,” She said with a confident grin, tugging just a touch wider when Alia threw in that wink. “Get this party started off right.” Her gaze flicked over to Altair, Wodan and all the rest. “The rest of you guys game?” She wiggled her brows, no lack of dare in her tone.
