BIOGRAPHY

Sol Kenuk
Cis-Male
24 Years
Kel Dor
Dorin Native
Sith Empire
Sith Master
Force Sensitive

“There are no atrocities in war. There are no crimes, no cheating, no lines that can't be crossed. There is only winning, and losing. Victory, and defeat.”

  • Sol was born on Dorin, as most Kel Dor are. His clan held close ties to the Sages, and so young Sol was not entirely oblivious to the aspects of the force. Ultimately, Sol was found to have a particular talent for such gifts, and naturally, this drew a Jedi into their world's inhospitable skies. Where many force-sensitive Kel Dor might join with the Sages, Sol's parents made a gesture of good faith. The Jedi was given their permission, and their blessing, to return to their temple with the young, and wide-eyed child of Dorin.

And thus, he was trained as a Jedi of the now infamous order. During his time as a youngling, he was educated in various histories, languages, and of course, the force. Sol had a particularly strong talent for it, and so it was only a matter of time before he was chosen as a padawan. For years, he was all too happy to train under his master's stern, but gentle hand.

It was, perhaps, Sol's intrinsic curiosity that first led him to experience the dark side.

A fateful meeting with a stranger, who offered power at seemingly little cost. This was a Sith, yet Sol was never one to judge too quickly, and he was all too easy to lie to. The two became fast friends, at least in Sol's eyes, as the Sith shared his view of the galaxy in ways the Jedi would not dare. He spoke of passion, and love. Liberation from the chains that Sol had not realized were holding him. The freedom that came with independence, and power. Ultimately, Sol began to grow suspicious that his new friend wasn't entirely as friendly as he had initially seemed. The Jedi did not teach the Dark Side, but they also did not teach ignorance. Mentions of ambition and control, slips of the tongue. They were enough for Sol to finally confess to his master of just who he had been sneaking away to see.

    padawansolblue2.png
He was ordered to stay behind, but perhaps the seed of defiance had already been planted. Perhaps it was a fear that he had misjudged, that his newly made friend was not a Sith or a fallen Jedi after all. And so he did not stay, as instructed. Sol followed. And like a lamb did he stumble into the slaughter, the battle between light and dark, turmoil upon bloodied earth. And then, he saw, the truth so bare before him. A truth he could not deny. Against the command of his beloved teacher, Sol rushed to defend his fellow Jedi against what was now so obviously a threat.

Memories faded as darkness swallowed him. Sol remembers little more of the fight. Only that he awoke chained and disoriented, unaware of the passing of time. But this was no Jedi temple. This was not a place of love, and compassion.

    This was hell.

Sol remembers the pain. But more than that, he remembers the taste of something foul in his throat. Bitter, like poison. Soft words, and the harsh brush of the force, more akin to a hammer against his mind. He remembers... that it was not his friend, Xuleel, who hurt him. It was the Jedi. It was the Jedi who had abandoned him to the dark. And, through the fog of it all, he remembers that he was saved. Dragged to the safety of an Imperial Stronghold, a place that he now remembers as his home. Not tortured, but healed.

And so, Sol was presented to the Empire as an Acolyte, untrusted and vilified by his fellow learners. For a long time, he struggled, because the back of his mind always said something different than what was being taught. Sol was burdened by an indescribable loneliness, and an unshakable desire for something that once a part of his spirit, but was now missing.

Xuleel was always there to assure him, to encourage him through the pain of brutal training, though Xuleel himself was far from merciful. There was always a warning ringing within his ears, that one mistake too many would be the last mistake he'd ever make. To be a Sith was like learning to walk all over again. Yet, with each bruise, and with each cut, it seemed he only grew stronger. Determination like plate armor against his thick skin. Determined to succeed. To overcome. To destroy any that would stand in his path. That was what Xuleel wanted from him. What was expected from him.

Sol was a quick learner, and exceptionally strong in the force. He was endlessly fascinated with science and chemistry, but he was no simple opponent in lightsaber duels, either. It seemed that the more vicious he became, the more he was prone to success. He learned to be relentless. He learned to be a weapon. And he learned to embrace the sensation of power that came from victory in each battle. Sol grew to become something entirely unrecognizable to the people he had once considered his family, something that fed off of death, and dominion.

Sol worked to form new connections, friends and allies among the Sith, as well as those outside of his influence. One such ally was a Cathar smuggler named Iroh, of whom Sol met during a short excursion to Taris. The Acolyte made the choice to assist the the Smuggler in retrieving spice stolen by competitors, for a sizable exchange of the money made. The two got along well enough that Sol offered the Cathar a means to make contact with him later.

When Darth Andruil led the horrific assault against Kashyyyk, Sol Kenuk had served as a fighter within her fleet. It was shortly after that quick and savage dogfight that he found himself an Acolyte no more. With the scars that now laced his rugged frame, Sol had become a Champion of the Sith.

Not more than a few months after Sol's initial promotion from Acolyte, he began trying to secure ties to the business world within Imperial space, taking a particular interest in cybernetics. Sol ultimately secured a partnership with the head of a corporation known as Aspiretech, but before the deal could be finalized, he was contacted by the Cathar smuggler he had befriended during his time as an Acolyte.

Iroh explained that he had heard rumors of a dark artifact known as a holocron being passed between criminal hands on the smuggler's moon of Nar Shaddaa. Perhaps a bit too overly eager to expand his own knowledge and power, Sol put the deal with Aspiretech on hold and made his way into Syndicate space, utilizing public transport shuttles to avoid drawing too much attention from the Syndicates that ruled the area. He was ultimately waylaid by a force sensitive Zeltron before he could reach his contact. By the time Sol manages to speak with Iroh, the holocron had already changed hands once again, sold to a dangerous gang known as The Ruddy Fangs.

Inevitably, he does manage to locate both The Ruddy Fangs, and the holocron, both tucked away within an underground complex beneath Wormstew Town. Uncertain of just how well equipped the Ruddy Fangs were, The Kel Dor made the decision to reach out to his fellow Sith for assistance in retrieving ancient artifact. Altair and Vahliri are the two who answered the call, and together, the three dove into the tunnels beneath Wormstew Town. Though Vahliri and Sol squabble with one another, Altair seems to hold the group together as they face swarms of rats and Infected in search of The Ruddy Fangs. Though they inevitably find the Ruddy Fang hideout, Sol, Altair, and Vahliri are captured when they are overwhelmed by the gang. Escape proved to be remarkably easy though, and the trio successfully managed to secure Darth Zannah's holocron.

After the journey into Nar Shaddaa's underworld, Sol begins to grow a fascination for rats, and the potential to utilize them as a vector for crippling disease.

With the mission to Nar Shaddaa finally complete, the deal with Aspiretech is was secured, and Sol became the co-owner of the company, reaping it's profits in exchange for his own services. Sol took an immediate interest in utilizing the various laboratories for his own experiments, keenly intrigued by chemistry and medicine, something he hadn't really been able to pursue as an Acolyte.

In the midst of that, the long forgotten Killik begin to launch devastating attacks across the galaxy, and it seemed that not even the Sith Empire was safe from the raging hivemind. Sol acted quickly in establishing leadership, dispatching several Sith to key locations across the galaxy to combat the Killik threat. Ultimately, the Killiks managed to infiltrate the ancient world of Korriban. Sol, along with several others, arrived on the planet to defend it. A battle between Killiks and Imperials ensues, and chaos bleeds upon the planet's burning sands. Sol participated in a dark ritual beneath the Korriban temple to locate the source of the Killiks, but ultimately leaves the ritual to fight off the Insectoids breaching the tunnels. Of course, the memory of the dark side nexus was promptly stored away within the Kel'dor's mind, as Sol hoped to revisit the ancient site in the future.

Korriban was successfully defended, and the Killiks were driven off of the world and back into deep space.

Shortly afterward, Sol Kenuk accompanied Sith Master Draugr to Dathomir to assist in establishing the Zabrak as the leader of the Spider Clan. The Kel Dor was fascinated by the monstrously large arachnids that roamed the ominous caverns of the world. He learns of Dathomirian culture among the clans when observed the duel between Master Draugr and the Spider Clan leader, Ochi. When Draugr assumed control of the clan and the army of Bane-back spiders along with it, the Zabrak gifted Sol with a spider of his own, a monstrous, man-sized arachnid named Sathrah.

Eventually, Sol makes a guest appearance on Korriban to teach a class on Sith Lightning. The class itself quickly devolved into chaos when one of the Acolytes challenged Master Draugr, who had been assisting with the training course. Though the Acolyte was promptly punished, it took Sol several minutes to regain control of the session, and all while under the dark gaze of Darth Raze. The Dark Lord ultimately decided to stage his own interruption in the form of what was nearly a public execution. When the accused Champion, Caelian, is forced to face fellow Sith Vahliri in combat, the Echani shocked the crowd by not only defeating Vahliri, but severing her arm in the duel, thus earning his place among the Sith.

With the Killik threat still very much at the forefront of everyone's minds, Sol inevitably finds himself in contact with them once again when he is sent to Mygeeto to clear out a group of suspected Joiners. The Acolyte Wodan accompanied him on the task. Sol took no chances with the threat of Killiks roaming free within Imperial Space, and his cold brutality during the mission seemed to take a heavy toll on the Acolyte's spirit. Regardless of the slaughter, Sol and Wodan completed the mission, insuring the threat of Killiks was gone from Mygeeto, at least for a time.

On Raxus, Sol hunted down a suspected force user, and ultimately discovered a Jedi exile. The exile recognized Sol as a former padawan, which further complicated matters. The Kel Dor made the daring decision to offer the Exile a place within the Sith, just as he had once been. When the exile refuses, however, the two battle. The exile attempted to appeal to Sol's past as a Jedi, but the Kel'dor was unfazed and rejected the light or any idea of redemption. Sol quickly overwhelmed the exile, cruelly tormenting him before his capture. The Kel'dor took the exiled jedi to an underground stronghold, where he intended to break the mind of the man, and force him to the dark side so that he can be presented to the Empire as a Sith Acolyte.

When the exile awakens, Sol is quick to taunt him about his failure, all too eager to twist the mind of his captive. It didn't take much before the former Jedi broke down, and the Kel'dor seized the opportunity to corrupt his prisoner to the dark side. Sol began to teach Kyo a dark sided form of meditation, and the exile was quick to accept his newfound role as an Initiate among the Sith Order. Sol continued to keep Kyo's presence in his stronghold a secret, however, because he wanted to be certain of the prisoner's fall to the dark side before presenting him to the Empire.

    solagain2.png
Around the same time, Sol began to practice with the macabre art of Sith Alchemy, with his first victims being rats. These first attempts are a failure however, leaving the Kel'dor frustrated. Regardless, the attempts seem to exact a heavy toll upon Sol's mind and body, and his skin began to appear paler than normal, his eyes alight with a molten glow that glowed from behind the Kel'dor's goggles.

The Kel'dor continued practicing with alchemy, and eventually creates his first success with the help of another Sith. The creation was a mutated rat nearly the size of a dog, nightmarish in appearance and significantly stronger than the average rodent. This newfound success revitalized Sol's focus on furthering his abilities with Sith Alchemy.

When disgraced Champion Caelian, reaches out to Sol for assistance with a planetary take-over, Sol agrees. The Kel'dor's ruthless reputation ultimately secured his place in the mission, and the two headed to the world of Elrood. Their schemes on bringing the planet and it's people into the Empire revolved heavily around the assassination of the Prince, and the destruction of Imperial opposition.

As a result of the ruthless operation, Sol managed to bring Elrood into the Empire.

Sol and Wodan also meet again for a similar task, intending to work out a deal with the slavers on Dolla to seize control of the world and it's population.

Amidst all of the conquests, a little known Sith named Jasnah reaches out, and Sol answers the call. Working together, the two began to concoct a chemical weapon that could be used to target the Killiks. With the weapon, the Sith had the potential to destroy the insectoid threat entirely, insuring the safely of not only the Empire, but the rest of the galaxy. Jasnah insured that Sol would have no shortage of volunteers to test his weapon on, and the two seemed all too eager to dive head first into the potential chemical warfare that they were creating.

All the while, Sol continued to practice and make progress with Sith Alchemy, as well as completing several more missions and conquests in the name of both the Empire, and the Sith. From friends to enemies, Sol's time as a Champion had earned him both. The ghastly Kel'dor had gained a reputation among those within his faction.
  • Sol's promotion to Sith master came quietly, but nonetheless, it was well earned. With his newfound authority came newfound enemies, and the Kel'dor's first order of business was to insure that he was well protected. The Sith quickly commissioned a custom set of armored robes, which served him well on dangerous missions both in and beyond Imperial Space.

Meanwhile, The Jedi Exile, Kyo, of whom Sol had captured and tormented as a Champion, had fully embraced the Dark Side, and as a result, Sol took him on as an Acolyte within The Sith Order, choosing to train the other man in the ways of darkness. The newly named Nox had been a powerful Jedi in his past, and that power had not subsided, even with the loss of the light side. Nox was quickly trained in Sith Lightning, and other dark force techniques.

All the while, the corruption of the dark side seeped even deeper within Sol's spirit, resulting in a pale and sickly appearance that often resulted in an uncomfortably eerie presence. Though the sensation of cold was not a pleasant one, the Kel'dor continued to allow the corruption to take root. As a result, his paranoia toward other Sith, initially easily managed, was now more pressing than ever before.

He eventually meets up with Caerllion again, who had since been promoted to the rank of Champion. Together, the two Sith head to Shu-Torun, making an attempt to claim the planet for the Sith Empire, and in the process, stopping an assassination attempt against the local monarch as a means to gain her favor.

Sol makes an attempt to reconnect with Altair after forming an uneasy alliance with Vahliri, though Sol seemed to have anxiety with the visit.

The Kel'dor also makes contact with Malou, and he and Caerllion travel to Dagobah to seek out a lost Sith Academy that was never completed.

At some point, Sol reached out to Caelian when a mysterious band of AMS researchers surface upon Raxus, and the two traveled together to investigate the potential threat, while Sol seizes an opportunity to extract various AMS samples.

Shortly afterward, Sol takes Nox to the acidic world of Vjun, where they seek out a source of dark power within the crumbling Bast Castle, which once belonged to Count Dooku and Darth Vader. In the process, Sol is forced to face his fraying mind, the trauma that he had tried so hard to bury deep.

Inevitably, all of that trauma begins to drown the man, who quickly appears to descend into a psychological crisis. With the cease-fire broken and the Killik threat looming, Sol withdraws within himself and begins to lash out at others. Trapped within a rage that he fails to control, he inevitably finds himself fleeing the Sith.
APPEARANCE
Standing at 6'5" in height, Sol is an imposing figure of lanky, skeletal limbs and thick, pale colored skin. Silver eyes shimmer gold with the corruption of the dark-side, tactfully hidden behind dark hued goggles. A metallic antiox mask typically covers the bottom half of his face, it's metal carved in intricate, floral patterns. Additionally, Sol wields long talons that arch naturally from his fingertips, and a set of tusks, visible only via the tusk-shaped sheathes his antiox max is equipped with.

Sol can typically be found draped in black robes, not so dissimilar to those one might associate with Jedi, asides from the sleek ebony that is their coloration. He also owns an ornate set of decorative armor, which he proudly displays on diplomatic or otherwise important assignments. A lightsaber, fitted with a red crystal, is almost always sighted at his hip.
ASSETS
  • Aspiretech. A fairly new organization which focuses almost entirely on cybernetics prosthetics, in addition to a few more visually distinctive additions to the brand. The business itself has existed for about ten years, and is operated primarily from Dromund Kaas, though additional facilities operate throughout deep Sith space. An Imperial organization, it recently formed a partnership with a Sith known as Sol Kenuk, who not only helps in it's distribution by protecting supply frigates and advertising it's product, but also assists in gaining assets, often through less than friendly means.

Aspiretech Stronghold. An underground complex initially utilized as both a storage and a lab for Aspiretech's operations on the planet of Dromund Kaas, it has since been remodeled into a sizeable homestead for Sol Kenuk. The stronghold, while too small to hold armies or vessels, serves perfectly fine as a home tucked out of public view, and is equipped with everything one might expect of a domestic domicile, from bedrooms, bathrooms, a living area, a small training arena, and a small medical bay equipped with first aid and other basic necessities. A few droids service the area, but it is otherwise nothing of note, save for Sol's private residence.

Darth Zannah's Holocron. A dark holocron once created by the mysterious and mighty apprentice to Darth Bane. The holocron was located by Sol Kenuk and promptly retrieved by the Kel'dor alongside fellow Sith Altair and Vahliri. Securing the holocron allowed all three to learn it's ominous power, a rare ability called Lightning Flood. Sol keeps the holocron well hidden from prying eyes.

Elrood Laboratory. Masked as an official Aspiretech Laboratory, this ]well protected facility serves as a secondary stronghold for the Kel'dor. It was gifted to the man from the King of Elrood, after Sol and Caelian brought the planet under Imperial control through means of political assassination. The laboratory is a walled estate that, at one point, was a psychiatric hospital for the criminally convicted before it ran out of funding and was finally abandoned, leaving the facility available for the Kel'dor to make claim to. This laboratory boasts hundreds of bedrooms that double as ray-shielded cells, as well as several highly secure laboratories and storage facilities that he utilizes for his experiments. This location also hosts a private living area for Sol himself. Droids make-up the majority of the structure's maintenance and security staff as a result of Sol's distrust toward others.
  • A set of talon guards for each hand, worn during social or otherwise peaceful events, to avoid accidental lacerations on allies.

An antiox mask that all Kel Dor require outside of Dorin. The mask not only insures that no oxygen leaks into the Kel Dor's lungs, but it also protects him from poisons or other toxins that might be present in the air around him.

A set of goggles that protect his sensitive Kel Dor eyes from excessively bright lights.

Small, handheld devices such as a Smartpad Dataphone, and a Miniature Protocol Droid which has been programmed with Basic, Huttese, Mando'a, and Rodese.

Several Cyber Cats which roam Sol's various homesteads. Occasionally, he will carry them along with him for outings.
  • These are the items that Sol always has with him during PvP scenarios, unless stated otherwise.

One red lightsaber with a single blade. It's hilt is spiked, and it's appearance is rigid and sharp. The crystal within emanates darkness.

A vibro-knife, hidden within the Kel'dor's right boot. The blade is rarely utilized, but makes for a good emergency weapon and tool.

Custom made, sleek black armored robes, which Sol utilizes during invasions and other dangerous excursions.

An anti-ox mask that all Kel Dor require outside of Dorin. The mask not only insures that no oxygen leaks into the Kel Dor's lungs, but it also protects him from poisons or other toxins that might be present in the air around him.

An emergency, secondary anti-ox mask that the Kel'dor always carries along with him, if he's able to escape the fight in time or his opponent is merciful enough to allow him to put it on.

A set of goggles that protect his sensitive Kel Dor eyes from excessively bright lights.

    A small, emergency med-kit which features a roll of bacta-bandages, and a single stim-shot.
  • The Rosethorn. A personal Impetus-class Interceptor starfighter that bears the insignia of a thorned Dorin rose. Sol typically uses the vessel as a personal transport between Imperial systems, but will occasionally dogfight if needed. Otherwise, he'll rely on Imperial Assets under his command, as to avoid damaging his personal ship.

The Dorin Wolf. A sleek Kaba-Class Shuttle with the insignia of a wolf painted upon it's sides. This particular ship is utilized by Sol during missions and other more important affairs where he travels alongside companions. It is well supplied with non perishable foods and other survival supplies, such as blankets, medical and camping supplies, in the case of emergencies. For longer trips, Sol may use the shuttle rather than his Interceptor.
RELATIONSHIPS
  • Altair Din. The famous tiefling and Huttball Champion. Sol thinks he's a complete buffoon. Admittedly, Sol is also extremely attracted to the Tiefling, and rather jealous of his horns. The two generally get along without issue, although Sol's flirtatious remarks often fly over Altair's head.

Caelian. A Sith Champion that was nearly executed by Darth Raze for consorting with a Jedi. Caelian was given a chance to prove his worth in a duel with Vahliri, which managed to impress Sol. Since then, the two have accompanied one another on several successful missions, and have a intimate, albeit non romantic, relationship.
  • Vahliri Kahtal. A half-Annfyn that accompanied Sol on the retrieval of a holocron. He's pretty sure she hates him, but it's okay because he hates her too.

Zakrym La. A Jedi that Sol saw as an easy target for manipulation. Ultimately, Zakrym slipped Sol's snares, and now the Kel Dor has a vengeful bone to pick.
  • Sathrah. A huge Bane-back spider which has been bonded to the Kel'dor. It happily trots alongside him on various adventures, though she isn't typically used in combat. The creature is imposing nonetheless. Sathrah was a gift from Sith Master Draugr after Sol accompanies him in in taking control of the Spider Clan of Dathomir. Click for reference, trigger warning for arachnophobia. The Bane-back is almost six feet in height, taller than the average human.
  • Silvus Dawn. A member of the Syndicates and a renown criminal in the Nar Shaddaa underworld. Sol sensed that he was force sensitive, and offered to train him. In exchange, Silvus agreed to be Sol's eyes and ears in the Syndicates, as well a reliable connection.

Kyosuke Yamato [Nox]. A Jedi exile that Sol captured on Raxus. He corrupted the man to the dark side and trained him as an Acolyte within the Sith.

Draugr. A Zabrak Sith master that Sol has had a few dealings with. His opinion of the man is neutral and their experiences thus far have been strictly professional, however the Zabrak is notable for his gift of a Bane-back spider.

Jasnah. Another Sith that had reached out to Sol for help in researching a means to eliminate the Killiks that were rampaging through the galaxy. Sol gets along well with her and considers her an asset, but is a bit paranoid of the woman.

Caerllion. An Annfyn noble that Sol was initially annoyed by, however the other Sith has proved himself useful by assisting in Sol's learning of alchemy. Caerllion's skill with magick also interests the Kel'dor. All in all, he considers the noble an asset.
