The small wall of beskar and flesh assembled itself as they waited, able to hear the echoing footsteps as numerous infected chased after their scent. Whatever they had equipped on them was brought out to bare and ready to be unleashed. If the door didn't open or the line was broken through, each fellow Mandalorian would be ready to go down in a blaze of glory.

Power packs reloaded and the sound of crinkling leather could be heard as everyone raised their weaponry and aimed. The thunderstorm of footsteps grew louder until the Mandalorians could see bodies fling themselves past the corner. They would simply slam into the wall before whipping their body to face the living. Toe-curling screams were let out in unison, rancid spit flying out from their mouths as they charged once more, climbing and trampling over each other.

When the infected before funneled enough, Nox let out a booming shout, "NOW!" Flames ripped forth as if straight out of the mouth of a dragon, roaring with might. With all of them combined, it created a lethal stream of fire that the small horde collided directly into. It would stop them in their tracks, a few of the infected immediately swiping at themselves as the hallway began to smell like burnt flesh and smokey. Those who fired with their flames would also fire with their blasters, keeping the infected back and piling the bodies to act as obstacles.

After the capsules ran out, Nox, Aria, and the other two would step back in order to reload. The second line would step forward, their gauntlets equipped with repulsors instead. While the fire was effective, there were now burning infected running at them and they needed space. "Fire!" All of the Mandos lifted their arms, bracing themselves before activating their devices. A small whir would emit from each wrist before a blast of concussive force was unleashed. With the combination of four, the force was incredible, the first line of infected simply having their limbs were torn off or their heads flying. The rest behind would be flung back a few feet and knocked the others down like bowling pins.

Another volley was fired by the second line before they stepped back, allowing the flamethrowers to take a position once more. Nox would be firing as they waited for the infected to rush again, intending to utilize the full effect of the flamethrowers and repulsors.

Van'Aria started to enter a zone, one which she didn't easily wake standing with her brethren she wove in and out of combat sleekly her steps each calculated and very precise, her Weapon shone dimly from the extensive use and as she reached down to reload another power pack she realized... it was her last, nevertheless she slammed it back in and returned fire regardless with fierce determination, once empty it was simply empty, nothing she could change there.

Another wave albeit smaller than the one afore came crashing into their lines and whilst their timing was different from the first the Mandalorian Fireteam made quick work of the threat by combining flame with destructive force a second time though even then they were being hard pressed, this was no emplacement and they did not have the advantage of limitless ammunition either.

It was then that a quiet BLEEP resounded and the Door behind them slid open, the Mandalorian that had been slicing away at it had managed to open it at last but at a cost... not being able to close it again, looking behind herself she looked to Nox directly, retreating into the Control Room was not an option and he of all people should know that so she gave him a look that he would come to regret soon after.

"Slanar. Narir va bintar ti ardesa'yr bic malyasa'yr shi duse ca'nara. Mar'eyir Bu'yruta."

She then turned back to the front which was still active, stepping inbetween a Mandalorian on her left and right whilst shuffling a Frag Grenade into each of her hands, there was no use for keeping things quiet so she resorted to her final few Aces she still had up her sleeves, giving a final look over her Shoulder she reassured the Alor, she knew all too well how he would rather stay and fight alongside his people.

"Slanar! Haa'taylir ni tug'yc malyasa'yr cuyir nasreyc de gar nakinagr!"

She then adressed the Fireteam left at the Front as she returned to them, they would hold... either that, or die and she would make sure that not a single one giving their life this day would be forgotton, that she swore.

"Mhi cuyir Mando! Akaanir biai solus! Ara'novor ibic kahetr at an bulyr!"

Once more the lines exchanged, flames followed by a blast of concussive force. It was holding back the infected but it would only do for a little longer as Nox went through his second capsule for his flamethrower. After a third was pressed in, he noticed he breathed heavier as he stared at it for the briefest of moments, realizing their last chance was closing quickly if that door didn't open.

Nox brought his visor up and slightly fogged as he was drenched in sweat, the temperature of the hallway having risen incredibly with the two previous blasts. The infected were blasted back once more, limbs and such torn from sockets as a moment had been waited for them to close. A volley was fired and it would be a few seconds before he stepped up again. But, before he could, there would be a loud beep as the door slid open. The Mandalorian who had done it quickly dove through, ready to open from the other side as he shouted back, "Let's go! Let's go!"

The Alor heard the door but stayed in his position, ready to stand and cover the rest to enter but that's when he caught the glance from Aria. She ensured him that they would hold and see each other again. The Solus was right, the faster the defenses could be activated, the better the outcome for everyone aboard the station. "Fight well." He told her before spinning on his heel to run into the command center, pulling the other Mando with him as both would examine the consoles for controls.

The other Solus would shout once he found them,
"Over here!" Immediately, he powered up the screen while also producing a computer spike from his gauntlet. A wire was also ejected from his gauntlet as it was slotted into one of the ports, further establishing his connection with the database. "How long?!" Nox shouted as he scanned around, his carbine following with his gaze as he watched over the slicer.

"A few moments! I have to program our signatures so we don't get shot!" After the words left his mouth, an infected had flung himself through a window and into the command center. It was from the other side and he quickly repositioned with his lightsaber, cleaving the creature in half with a yell of rage. "Hurry!" More and more infected started to gather at the windows.

As soon as Nox departed with the other Mandalorian, Van'Aria threw a grenade down the corridor right after delivering a devastating punch to a infected that rushed her, one second passed... two... then a violent explosion ripped through the masses and whilst it drew the attention of even more Infected it also meant... it drew attention away from Nox and the other Mandalorian, time was of the essence and they had to hold so she put her back into it, with what little morale that she could raise.

"Mies meg trattok'or malyasa'yr cuyir partaylir darasuum akaanir bavat cad olyay nayc nakar'tuur!"

Moments later the line was starting to get pushed in, now that they were 2 less than before holding out was getting more and more difficult and soon all three of them had to resort to hand to hand over blasterfire when their Ammunition was inevitably spent, one of the Mandalorian was pressed to the wall and overwhelmed by two more Infected, refusing to go down without a fight he fought on in futility for eventually he would fall leaving only two.

Pulling the other Mandalorian back it was only the two of them now, Van'Aria stood side by side with her comrade until the bitter end fighting back what they could but with just the two of them it was getting increasingly more hard... focusing on not letting herself be bitten Van'Aria was on the defensive and ultimately she was seperated from her fighting partner who was consequently overwhelmed, leaving her to fight alone.

Surrounded... outnumbered and on the brink of succumbing to the Infected aswell she fought with fierce defiance, she would not let it end here, not now and most certainly not this way.

"Got it!" Nox could hear and subsequently the Weaponssystems booted up, a short delay followed by multiple Turrets and emplacements whirring to life and just afore the next wave could crash into them... cacophonous and relentless AI directed blaster fire resounded as the Defensesystem went to work, if they had made it in time was something Nox had yet to find out.

As soon as the Turrets went to work Van'Aria dashed forwards to the just freshly bitten Mandalorian on the floor afore her, kneeling down briefly to prop them up on her leg, she knew... there was naught she could do but she the least she could do was reassure them they fought valiantly.

Today was a day that saw many deaths and one that she would not forget easily.

Another infected fell through the window, glass tearing at its flesh but not a care given as it tried to get up. Nox take one giant step to shorten the needed range as he impaled his lighter through the head of the creature. He wouldn't be able to admire his handiwork long as groans and screams would fill his right ear and exactly where the window was. More were climbing through and instead of picking up his saber, he aimed his gauntlet and activated the last capsule of his flamethrower. Flames spewed forth without hesitation as they engulfed the group of zombies that almost made it into the room, screams filling the air.

Standing up after, Nox would switch hands and aim his repulsor as he braced himself for the blow. The typical whirr sounded before a concussive blast erupted from the device, the infected being flung back and slammed into the wall as were multiple office items.

The move offered a little respite as he picked up the lightsaber and returned it to his right hand. Nox's grip tightened around the hilt while the recipients of his repulsor got back up on their feet. His muscles, bones, and everything else ached as his lungs burned from exhaustion. But a fire still burned within him, one helped created by Kad himself as the Alor knew he watched over him. He was one man and there were more than a dozen outside but he wouldn't give an inch until his last breath.

Nox let out a scream and ran forward but before he could take his second step, the Mando computer whiz called out he had done it and activated the defenses. Turrets dropped and unloaded a hail of fire through the window and in fact throughout multiple sections of the station into whatever infected their targets could find.

A few minutes of this would transpire before the turrets would finally cease in the command room. Nox had ducked to avoid the fire and stood up with a groan. With a shake of his head, he recollected his bearings before whipping his gaze to the open door. Pushing off a console, he rushed outside and found Aria with a fellow Mandalorian in her lap. Nox stepped out of the room and walked over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder to give a reassuring squeeze. He would then crouch down beside her as he peered down at the bitten clansmen.

Nox would glance around before finding a vibrosword and grabbing it to put it softly in his hand to hold over his chest. The Mandalorian glanced over at him before shaking his head, "Don't let me turn..." The Alor exhaled softly but gave a nod after a while also placing a closed fist on the man's chest. "You fought well today. We wouldn't have succeeded without you and the others and I thank you. May Kad walk you to the afterlife to join the endless ranks that eagerly wait for you there. Be at peace." The Mandalorian would give a squeeze to his close fist before gripping onto the sword with both weapons.

Nox would pull off the warrior's chest plate to expose his chest while he pulled out his peacemaker that truly lived up to its name. The warrior had been bitten on his neck and there was nothing else that could be done. After Aria offered any words if she did, the barrel of the blaster would be lined over the man's heart before the trigger would be pulled.

A maddening silence ensued after the Turrets had gotton to work, one that enhanced sounds not heard before, the ache of wounded and the dying could be heard along the hallway soon silenced by mercyful executions, each shot coming after another breaking the silence that was so oppressing.

She gazed down deep into the Visor of the one laid in her lap, she knew him not but he meant as much to her as any other Mandalorian, she would not forget what he did and more importantly would make certain that he was honored every day, her gaze slowly broke away as she felt a hand squeeze her shoulder, it lifted to look up Nox before then back down.

"Gar malyasa'yr cuyir sol'yc be hra'ne butu'r. Mar'eyir Naak o'r olyaor a gatle Mando."

She reached up to press a hand to the Visor of the Man in solemn clarity before giving a soft nod to Nox, it was not overlong until she heard and felt and saw the blaster discharge causing shortly afterwards the man to go limp in her Lap.

Slowly she raised him up and placed him down, she did so with great care taking all the time she needed only when he laid there acceptable enough did she slowly rise, her gaze turned to the ceiling for a excruciatingly long time, a minute passed, two, then did she finally move again.

"Ni hwa cuyir jate'shya. Ni enteyor cuyir jate'shya. Ni malyasa'yr cuyir jate'shya."

She repeated to herself in quiet recitation, her gaze grew hard and her breathing slowed down, purpose guided her and she would stop at nothing to achieve her goals, only when she deemed it right to continue did she turn her head to Nox ever so slowly, the young Alor made an impression on her, one she could not place as of yet but at the same time she wondered if he thought the same, regarding him with a equal tilt of her head she respected his abilities but looked past rank and title it matter naught to her.

"Jorhaa'ir meg gar enteyor katkta va gar jatne emuurir atituhu."

After the shot had pierced the warrior's heart, Nox would pull back his blaster before taking a step away so that his backside touched the wall. He slid down it with a groan as his body clawed at his mind for a break, his legs fully extended when he was seated on the floor. The two of them would remain in the hallway as the third Mandalorian remained in the command center to ensure that the security measures stayed on and swept through the building.

Nox could hear Aria speak, chastising herself really for the deaths that had transpired. Even though it was unfortunate, every warrior knew what they had signed up for and knew what this was for. It was to secure the future of their people and a sacrifice made to achieve that goal was the greatest one could make. In truth, it would only be if the Clans proved successful and finally established themselves in the galaxy to protect and fight for themselves. Nox had been there at the Clan's lowest points and he would not let them fall back to that state again.

Aria turned to him, offering him the chance to speak but she would only receive a stare for a few moments. She was a gifted warrior and leader, a majority of the reason why they were able to turn on the defenses. He was glad to have her in his clan but there would still be matters to discuss between them. Nox, after collecting his thoughts would say, "The shipyard is ours." He then lifted his gauntlet, pressing a button to connect with the fellow steams. "Status report, Beta, Charlie?"

Two different voices came through one after another, "All clear. A few casualties suffered but the turrets are cleaning up everything. Even a few security droids are patrolling." Nox mostly nodded to himself, "Nice work. Return to the rendezvous point." The teams would both give confirmation before they all disconnected.

Upon hearing that report, the Alor would place a hand on the wall for support before pushing himself up to his feet. He offered a hand down to Aria to help her up before he holstered his lightsaber. "Talk later. Let's clean up after ourselves and get some food in our stomachs. We both deserve that." The bodies would be picked up and swept away later but even with the mess that was made, it didn't change the fact that the station was still proudly theirs now.
