Sound Mimicry
PVP FREQUENCY: Situational

ALIGNMENT: Neutral
STAMINA DRAIN: Low

Description
Sound mimicry is the ability of a Force user to precisely imitate the sounds that the user has previously heard. There are limitations to this ability in respect to volume, collective sounds (sounds that are actually a collective of multiple sounds such as a busy street), pitch, and sounds that are outside their audible range and have not heard. The most common uses of sound mimicry would include biological and natural sounds such as animal calls or the wind. However, those with higher level of skill may be able to create the sound of individual ships flying or preparing for takeoff. Mimicking the sound of blasters being fired is a relatively easy mimic.

This Force Power and skill has two primary uses. The most common use is as a diversion or defensive technique to slow down an attack, prevent an attack, or create the potential for a retreat of the enemy. Obi Wan Kenobi most famously used this skill to scare Tusken Raiders away by mimicking the sound of a krayt dragon's roar. The other primary use is to attract wildlife to the user. Mimicking animal calls could be used for hunting or as an attempt to bring a wild predator to the Force user's location in hopes they will attack the enemy or to try and tame the animal.

Because mimicry is based on sound recall, it is extremely difficult to mimic the exact voice of another sentient through speech except for those sentences and words the Force user heard that individual say. However, those who master the skill have been known to precisely mimic the voice of others through regular conversation.

Extra Note
Masters of this skill may also learn how to "throw" their voice short distances to give the appearances that the sound is originating in another location.

Intent
To flesh out Force powers to comply with the site's new rules without a level system. This is a guideline and should not be used for rule lawyering.
