DESCRIPTION
Serene enjoys the finer things in life and a smooth ride is one of them. With a class one hyperdrive the Violet Garden can traverse the galaxy very quickly. The nature level of the VG serves to act as a place to nurse and grow rare plants that don't do well in preservation. This allows Serene to have a supply of fresh plants at all times.

The typical amenities are available to the guests of the Violet Garden. A small pool exists on the ship but this is purely for therapeutic and exercise purposes. Additionally a small medical suite has replaced one half of the passenger capacity. Sometimes but not always, Serene will take her TIE/HU to meet the Violet Garden.

Serene has a personal meditation chamber installed. This is off limits to other guests as is her room. The Violet Garden has been modified to have additional maneuvering jets, improving its agility while slightly decreasing its top speed. But seeing as its a leisure vessel this is not much of an issue. Considering its hyperdrive, the ship's overall size and appropriate deflector shields make it have a high survivability if attacked. Though it is not meant to be a combat ship by any means.

LEGALITY
Legal. A Stary Yacht such as the the Comet class luxury yacht are considered innocuous enough under most jurisdictions, and are not restricted in most systems. It is actually the fact the ship can house starfighters that it is often required to provide identification upon arrival in certain systems. Backwater planets may have yet to update their scanner database to recognize the Comet class..

INTENT
I plant to acquire this ship via roleplay for the Sith Faction. Using this ship as a setting for future missions and socials. It will be a Sith faction asset but be heavily used by my dark sider, Serene. Original write up for the comet star yacht

RESTRICTION
Comet class star yacht have become popular with the galaxy's elite, but are not easy or cheap to obtain. They are typically faction assets, although they could also serve as the focal point of a player run business venture. Because of the sophisticated design of the vessel, weapon upgrades are not compatible with this ship.

AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT

DESCRIPTION

Procured mysteriously by Serene Graves during her early days in the Sith, it is unclear how she specifically acquired the vessel. The interior has been modified to better suit the woman's preferences and accommodate the upgrades she has made. Serene has a personal meditation chamber which she uses to focus and occupy during long journeys. A repair kit resides onboard in the event of an emergency along with spare flight suits for passengers. A few smuggling compartments are hidden around the yacht to keep the woman's personal belongings hidden from others, be they Sith artifacts or other illicit materials.

The crew consists of the default droid brain but is aided by a S3 smart ship A.I. Suite. The two combined make an efficient pair capable of operating all of the ship's systems efficiently. Their redundancies and overlapping expertise help prevent mistakes and distribute operations to reduce strain. Serene is capable of using the ship under her direct control but rarely does so, preferring to instead be chauffeured around.

The maneuvering capabilities of the black vulture star yacht have been upgraded to be more agile at the expense of maximum speed. With this in mind, Serene has modified the thrust limiters and enabled them to be removed at her discretion which in turn would give the Thoughtful Bogle the temporary boost it might need.

Straying from the normal armament, the Thoughtful Bogle has had one of two medium concealed laser cannons replaced with a light ion cannon. Along the top of the ship or its "spine" a groundsweeper laser cannon / repeater combination can be activated for additional coverage.

LEGALITY
Legal wherever yachts are permitted.

INTENT
To keep track of Serene Graves's upgrades to her personal transport. Based off of the Black Vulture class droid yacht.

DESCRIPTION

The Neo-Crusader class corvette named Skot'kad has shown its mettle engaging with a badger class frigate, the donnager. It then joined Rancor Squadron along with teh rest of Shriekhawk Group. It had previously served dutifully around the Contruum system which it continues to consider its home port.

Skot'kad translates to Gladius from mando'a which appropriatly describes the corvette and its crew. It can act independently and bolster the fighting force of any mandalorian unit it joins. Furthermore it excels at escort duties and can safely carry dangerous prisoners.

LEGALITY
Restricted. Neo-Crusader Class Corvettes are classified as capital ships under Galactic law, and possess heavy weapons, making them difficult or impossible for civilians and even small factions to own. These have been modified.

INTENT
To have a custom and modified neo-crusader class corvette for Rancor Squadron. Acquired here. Also to add some history and flavor for Mandalorain characters. These will be used as faction assets for players to use in an official capacity or make for thread settings.

RESTRICTIONS
Neo-Crusader Class Corvettes are large capital ships with heavy weapons, and capital ships cannot be owned or operated by individual characters. They are exclusive to the Mandalorian faction.

Formerly used in a false flag operation against mandalorians and the Kowakian Devil Fleet, the ship is now put to use by Rancor Squadron.

LEGALITY

DESCRIPTION
Gravity Hammers have long served as Armorers's as tools of the trade both in the crafting of armor and breaking it. The immense power needed to mold the resilient substance known as beskar called for tools that were nigh indestructible. Ancient armorers perfected the design of the hammer in their quest for forging the lightsaber resistant material. The end result were the mandalorian gravity hammer.

Hauron Solus acquired not one hammer, but three variants when he raided a museum on Coruscant with a freelance accomplice "Sapphire" (@Maeve ). First is an axehead type battlehammer, the second being a traditional armorer's hammer and third a smaller battle axe more akin to a hatchet or tomahawk when compared to its larger kin.

LEGALITY
Legal. Similar in nature to vibroblades though a far rarer sight, these are legal practically everywhere as tools or self defense implements in one form or another.

INTENT
To show the weapons Hauron acquired in a thread and maybe expand upon it more. He is going to follow more down the path of armorer and will use these frequently. Also to give a precedent for the gravity hammer in canon.

RESTRICTIONS
These specific hammers belong to Hauron. Otherwise they are just beskar hammers.

DESCRIPTION
The DXR-6 is a larger version of the DX-2 disruptor pistol. First commissioned and used by the Tenloss Syndicate it was later adopted and used by other criminal groups and even the Galactic Empire. It was often used by bounty hunters, assassins and even slavers to ruthlessly vaporize their targets. It was rumored that some special forces even employed disintegrator weapons for black ops work.

The DXR-6 comes in two different designs both of which are essentially the same. Some of the options at purchase is to have the rifle come with a built in macroscope and an elongated emitter. This helps with accuracy at range but can make maneuvering the weapon in close quarters a bit cumbersome. Regardless of attachment choices, the DXR-6 has an optimal range of fourty five meters. The rifle can still disintegrate a wookiee sized target at a range of ten times that making it a sniper disruptor rifle though it is far less accurate than weapons like the Amban pulse phase rifle.

Two major drawbacks are characterized in the DXR-6 design. First and foremost is it requires a five (5) second cool-down period after each discharge. Secondly, each time the weapon is fired, there is a twenty five percent (25%) chance it consumes two (2) rounds of ammunition. This can lead to the DXR-6 only firing a minimum of five (5) rounds or a maximum of ten (10).

LEGALITY
Illegal. The DXR-6 Disruptor Rifle, like all disruptor weapons, are banned on all civilized worlds, and frowned upon even on uncivilized ones.

INTENT
To create a disruptor and add to the number available on the site. Based off of a legends weapon of the same name.

RESTRICTIONS
Disruptor weaponry can never be used against player characters.

EQUIPMENT

DESCRIPTION
Put together first by Reeka Zoppee from scavenged parts they have a flying hunk of junk that can get them around surprisingly well. The Air Truck is an overall design that has begun to see replication around environments where treads are less practical for Jawas.

The vehicle has an incorporated R4-series agromech with that can utilize a light ion blaster cannon that is fixed forward. They can also pilot the vehicle and use its other systems to the extent that an astromech normally would with a starship while also retaining the ability to eject or leave the vehicle if Reeka allows it. However the Jawa often keeps it aboard at all times so it ca use to beckon his own airspeeder when he is away from it.

The vehicle boasts an integrated comlink should Reeka need to call his droid or someone else directly from the airspeeder. The Agromech possesses capabilities of navigating most planets and excels at it perhaps even better than an astromech could. The focuses of it's Jawa inventor align with its characteristics well.

It is not intended for combat and is arguably dangerous to operate at high speeds in most environments. However it is primarily used to carry heavy cargo to and from trading posts. Occasionally its light ion blaster cannon can come in handy if the tribe sandcrawler is under attack or if they need ambush an unsuspecting target.

LEGALITY
This is probably not legal. It is a home-built vehicle that is armed and the owner does not have any licenses.

INTENT
To create a personal transport for my character and to monitor upgrades. It is based off of the BV-6000 stratostreak airspeeder. and meant to be a non-lethal and inferior version of that vehicle.

DESCRIPTION
The Brawler is a design adopted by numerous mandalorian weapon manufacturers in the effort to arm their warriors with solid projectile weapons. These are often frowned upon and are sometimes just not as convenient as a blaster but none the less there is a place for slug throwers that energy based weapons cannot fill. Thus the brawler pistol has made a re-emergence in popularity not only with mandalorians but other bounty hunters and underworld figures that get their hands on them.

The brawler has a fairly high capacity magazine mounted along the side of the weapon side of the pistol making it less ideal for a quick draw weapon. The weapon has low recoil but even-so manufacturers allow for a simple folding stock to be incorporated into the weapons design. This is no substitute for a long range weapon or even the same as a full pistol conversion kit. It will provide an even greater degree of accuracy and stability though for those that wish to use it. However more often than not, these Brawler pistols can be seen in tandem as mandalorians dual wield them to overwhelm a lightsaber wielder or combining the solid projectiles with a blaster to keep them on the backfoot.

The brawler is very reliable and can take some amount of punishment as one might expect of its name. It should not be treated as a dedicated melee weapon but it can be used to bludgeon softer targets in close quarters if needed. The weapon can be customized to have various sights and appropriate modifications. However they are rarely seen outside of the hands of mercenaries and the most brutal killers in the galaxy. The use of these slug throwers often requires a source for ammo and on many planets where solid projectile weapons are highly regulated it can be a costly and/or risky asset to possess.


LEGALITY
Legal. Ownership of slugthrowers is not restricted in most of the Galaxy, however openly carrying such a weapon in public might be on more "civilized" worlds. On less civilized worlds, it still might draw unwanted scrutiny.

INTENT
To make a solid projectile weapon that could build on the mandalorian arsenal and give a reason for others to trade with mandalorians. These also could be a good standard weapon for mandos wanting to fight force sensitives to use.

DESCRIPTION
Easily bearing a resemblance to its smaller cousins, the Westar-13 clearly comes from the same manufacturers as the famous Westar line of blaster pistol. As far as carbines go, the Westar-13 is on the large and heavy side with the butt of the carbine having the option to be collapsed 10 centimeters or vis versa. This helps the increased stopping power of the carbine to be kept under control at greater range or be useful in closer quarters like storming a starship or in a city environment. The rugged design can be used in numerous harsh environments and continue to work without degraded performance. The iconic yellow or blue bolts of the CCT products are fired from the weapon which deliver heavy damage to targets. The carbine possesses the option for a stun setting if the user so chooses.

Along the top of the weapon iron sights com standard as well as a 1-4x macroscope with low light capabilities. This can be replaced with most models or a helmet ammunition counter and approximate weapon targeting in a helmet HUD. This allows a projection of the scope to more easily appear in the helmet of a shooter and is appreciated by most Mandalorians. This requires the user to have synced with the specific weapon (one round). This allows the user to also know the weapon's ammunition count.

Furthermore it should be noted that the Westar-13 shares it's underwater firing capabilities as its forebearer, the Galaar-15. The design of the weapon doesn't allow as much ammunition to be held as some larger rifles or weaker carbines. But the design is an improvement on CTT's previous work. Today they can be found on the black market however most are owned by Mandalorian clans and produced in secret.

LEGALITY
Restricted. Due to the nature of this device, Westar-13 blaster carbines are illegal or at least highly frowned upon on many worlds, directly relating to the restrictions placed on heavy blasters in much of the Galaxy.

INTENT
To create something that's been kind of seen in canon that is also a high quality blaster carbine and modern star wars improvement of older blasters. Mandalorians need some cultural weapons too.

RESTRICTIONS
Due to the nature of the weapon's design, the Westar-13 cannot be be modified to alter its ammo capacity, damage or fire rate. Other attachments are fine.

Lieutenant Rhonwen's ISB Uniform

The Armored Sith Officer uniform is a perfect combination of formality and practicality and is based from the pattern popularized by Inquisitorius Program which was formed just after the clone war and disbanded when the Empire fell. Though not the exact same uniform, this is slick black uniform made from zeyd-cloth and blackened plasteel and is manufactured on a variety of imperial planets.

Clarr'honwe'nuruodo has made her uniform her own. Plastoid plates are normally low profile but can be taken out at her descresion. Armorweave and a thermal protective mesh makes up the majority of the uniform material. She frequents ships and space stations often enough to keep the life support box on her belt. Hidden in the same box is a recording device.


Legality

Though not illegal, wearing the Uniform is typically frowned upon by anti-imperial worlds, especially on worlds that still remember Imperial oppression.

I needed to create a custom uniform for my ISB character. Based off of the sith officer uniform.

Function 2: Life support box (Belt)
  • Life support boxes are emergency gear designed to be worn in conjunction with other safety equipment, such as vac-suits and rebreathers. The device can be manually activated via a switch on the chest box, but most also automatically engage when exposed to vacuum. When activated, the device projects a small mag-shield "bubble" around the user that is just strong enough to contain a tiny amount of livable atmosphere. Life support boxes double the protection provided by vac seals and rebreathers. Without other protective gear, the life support box itself provides only 3 rounds of protection. The system also contains a high power distress beacon that the broadcasts the pilots precise coordinates to any ship within a parsec. The distress beacon can be manually deactivated, and can broadcast for s much longer time than its wearer can survive.

Function 3: Thermal undersuit (Throughout)
  • Thermal undersuits wick away or reflect thermal energy for brief periods of time. They are not nearly as effective as a suit that firefighters would wear. Most commonly used to protect soldiers from flamethrower weapons or short bursts of extreme heat or cold, and are only good for 1-2 posts of exposure depending on intensity. They are useless against blasters.

Function 4: Computer spike (Left wrist)
  • Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.

  • The recorder, usually located in the helmet, is a device that records visual & audio content for up to 6 hours. It has to be (explicitly) activated by the user manually to be active. This recorded data can be transferred to a data storage device or terminal as well after the desired content is captured. A small thumb sized data drive holds the data and can be removed, overwritten or replaced at the whim of the user.

DESCRIPTION
The DH-17 blaster carbine is a personal defense weapon of Byron Ryker. The man has upgraded and modified this weapon to better suit his needs. An aftermarket stock has been integrated for better stability at longer ranges. The weapon has an adjustable 1-4x scope on the top and an underslung ascension gun attachment in the foregrip.

The cut down modifications keeps the weapon relatively light though Byron has extensions and conversion pieces more suitable for long range. Different locales have taught him to have adaptability and the simplicity of his personal creation allows him to adjust to whatever is needed. However he loses the magnetic accelerator benefit when using the conversion kit as well as the ascension gun attachment since they are on parts for the medium range setup. Byron tends to only switch to the long range in the very rare occasion as he is not the best marksman and the additional bulk of the barrel attachment, scope, bipod, and stock are more than he likes to deal with on a regular basis.

A secret known only to Byron is he has a bit of welding putty that he has stored in the hollowed out grip of the weapon along with a speed dial on his commlink. The last thing he would want is some one to use his weapons to harm the innocent and as such he has a fail safe in case he loses his weapon. This won't do anything more than make the weapon very hot to handle and burn the user's hands to a small degree, melting the weapon's internal components enough and making it inoperable.

Black Hand's Beskar'gam

The common T visor shocktrooper design is what the likeness of Kotii's armor. Black Hand, as he is known as, has armor composing mostly of durasteel plates. The only pure beskar among his set exists as a pair of vambraces melted down from his ancestors armor and reforged for him. The rest of his plates can be removed, typically the upper arm and upper leg plates for more comfort while sitting for long periods or wanting more mobility.

A mix of red and black paint scheme has been adopted by the Mandalorian to keep with his clan colors. The clan's badger sigil is visible on the left shoulder plate. Beskar was not in grand supply even for his clan and neither were advanced armor abilities. For this reason Kotii seeks to add to his own arsenal and expand the capabilities of his armor. Wisely placed pouches and belts are often worn to distribute weight and a harness is added to the suit help with climbing needs.

A common scout HUD and grapple line are incorporated into Black Hand's armor. The rebreather can be activated and close off from the outside in the event he wishes to use smoke grenades or has to deal with other hazards. A pair of dart launchers are added to both knees. Reinforced to not be damaged while in a combat zone, each has its own rangefinder that gives information directly to his scout HUD though Kotii must still trigger it from his wrist controls or manually. Altogether Kotii's armor weighs an approximate thirty five kilograms.


Legality

Mandalorian armor, though rare, is not illegal in most places. That said, wearing a full face helmet in public spaces is frowned upon, and often illegal in many core worlds, especially in or near government facilities- not to mention that many identification cards in various systems require a full face photo. This drives many strict adherents of "the way" to operate exclusively on the fringes of the galaxy.

Graves' Garb

Serene Graves occasionally has the need to wear a helmet and armor. As a Sith, combat is not alien to Serene and as such she wears a degree of protection when she deems it appropriate. Serene sometimes incorporates life support functions into her suit when visiting hazardous places. Writeups can be found here but the armor does not have them unless mention in the thread so that Serene can fight unhindered. Both of her forearms are protected by phrik lined gauntlets while the rest of her armor is made up of armorweave and duraplast.

DESCRIPTION
The Q8 quicksilver blaster pistol is the successor to Blastech's popular L7 Liquidsilver light blaster pistol. The Q8 is primarily made up of the same parts from L7 in terms of internal structure. Popular with smugglers, the design allows for it's design to easily mix with a ship's internal structure and be overlooked by scans. What's more is the housing of the pistol keeps it from being detected with scans even when passing through customs.

While the stopping power of the light blaster is outmatched by other blasters on the market, it has its benefits that keep it a valued design. The blaster pistol possesses a small bullpup design that has been remarked as convenient for smaller races which can used it as a makeshift stock. The ambidextrous controls allow for loading and unloading. For those that don't care for the minimalist style without any bells and whistles there are small rails allow for after market attachments. A decent balance and overall manufacturing given to the simple light blaster make it still a common weapon to not be far from a spacer's hands.

In the event the ship is searched with cursory scans there are various smuggling compartments to hide any illicit materials from security searches. This is also where N4-X4 stores their weapons to keep them hidden from prisoners and potential thieves, making it harder for them to use such things against the droid crew.

Restricted. Oubliette-class prsion transport are well armed, and civilian operators will require extra licensing to operate one legally.

Brok has scavenged and crafted a War Baby of sorts. However the Rodian's starship is perhaps iconic among many unique ships. It possesses a heavy deflector shield to protect against the dangers of the outer rim. It has a spin on the normal armament that is no less fearsome. Two heavy lasers and medium laser cannons are only further bolstered by a pair of ion cannons, all of which are forward facing and at the control of the pilot.

Brok rarely has a need of the hyperdrive or its navicomputer so keeps it power down to minimize power draw. Only the medium laser cannons are ever "hot" since Tatooine itself is hot enough as it is and Brok does not want the ship to overheat or needlessly consume power. All of this prevents the gambler's ship from passing a speed of 85 MGLT. The scavenged engines have been wired to work past their factory limits though Brok often keeps this feature disabled.

LEGALITY
Legal. Though they are technically starfighters, War Babies are considered to be home-built spacecraft under most jurisdictions, circumventing many restrictions.

Restricted. The armed Newt-class interceptors are military vehicles, and are subject to extra licensing requirements and increased scrutiny by authorities. The weaponless "Butter Newt" modification is legal, and is classified as an ultra-light courier. Scanners easily tell the armed and the unarmed variants apart.

N4-X4 utilizes a droid crew to control each of the gunnery stations. An A.I. has been integrated into the Revenant's systems allowing for more autonomy. In the event the ship is searched with cursory scans there are various smuggling compartments to hide any illicit materials from security searches. This is also where N4-X4 stores their weapons to keep them hidden from prisoners and potential thieves, making it harder for them to use such things against the droid crew.


LEGALITY
Restricted. Oubliette-class prsion transport are well armed, and civilian operators will require extra licensing to operate one legally.

INTENT
This is a personal ship to N4-X4.

DESCRIPTION
The BD-510 Stargale light courier is a star skiff manufactured by Blackwell Driveworks, an Ord Cantrell-based subsidiary of the venerable Blackwell Independent Technologies corporation which is focused on starship development and production. The BD-510 is one of Blackwell Driveworks' more popular products, and is a staple of small courier services the Galaxy over, not to mention small-time smugglers.

Simple in construction, the Stargale has a boxy fuselage, and is equipped with large drive unit capable of propelling the small craft up to 90 MGLT. Stock, it is equipped with a class 2 hyperdrive. The ship can carry a useful load of up to 10 standard tons, plus up to 2 passengers. The BD-510 has no shields, but is equipped with durable alusteel hull plating, which can take a few hits. It is also equipped with a pair of forward-firing light laser cannons.

Overall, the BD-510 can outpace larger freighters and even keep up with some starfighters, while also having a respectable cargo capacity for its size. The type is a common sight in many starports.



Lariska has had her personal transport modified to her specifications. All parts are Blackwell and legally acquired. A ground sweeper light cannon is hidden in a compartment that can be activated to allow an shoot at any hostiles attacking from its rear. This is usually unpowered and concealed. Only Lariska has the codes to access the weapon systems.

A heavy deflector screen has been incorporated for added defense and along with military grade maneuvering jets draw enough energy from the ship's reactor to decrease the courier's maximum speed by twenty megalights. This does increase the Chariot's maneuverability to nearly the same deftness as a modern interceptor. Often at the helm or onboard to assist Lariska is a TB series chauffeur droid.

LEGALITY
Legal. Star skiffs such as the BD-510 are considered innocuous enough under most jurisdictions, and are not restricted in most systems. The aftermarket modifications were legally requisitioned and licensed for Lariska's use.

INTENT
To create a personal beginning transport for my character. Reskinned and customized version of this ship.
