Tacitus didn't actually like ship stuff but sometimes it was kind of needed and the Blackened Jet Empire (still a dumb gang name in his opinion) liked to keep their operation on the move. He stood in the cockpit of The Garrison as the ship moved through some of the bigger shipping lanes - down this far it was hard to fly something the size of a good sized freighter but it wasn't impossible by any stretch. The problems came from the fact that everyone wanted to go their own way in flight so the planet enforced the worst thing in the Galaxy.

Traffic.

Decked out in his actual armor rather than his armored suit, he rechecked his rifle before slinging it over his shoulder and tightening the strap until it was secure. He could magnetize it to his back but he liked having it ready to go at a moment's notice so he didn't bother with that. Instead he gripped the back of the co-pilot's seat tighter in annoyance. The new astromech droid he had gotten, Floater, inched away from him slightly and Tac sent it an annoyed glare.

Not like he ever took his anger out on the bloody thing - he was just not good at waiting.

"You picking up the tags for the ship?"
he asked his pilot with a grimace as he pulled his helmet on, "I know traffic is being a pain but I need to be above that ship asap."

Inserting into a moving ship was usually a bad idea but he was reasonably confident in his pilot's ability to keep them steady over the ship for the jump down to the ship. The leadership of the Blackened Jet Empire thought it was smart to keep the leadership constantly on the move and it was... but fuel attendants talked and everyone needed to leave a ship to take a leak eventually.

The Garrison itself was a decent ship; a bit on the slower side, but with some elbow grease and a few upgrades she could make the gal really fly. But planetside it was a pain, and she kept patience. Even as she could feel the irritation rising from her employer, she kept calm, sighing internally at the long, long stretch of miasmatic ships ahead of them.

"Getting closer," she affirmed calmly, glancing sideways at him. He wanted to be there asap, huh?

"Stealth optional?" she asked him, with a slight glimmer in her eyes. She hoped so. This flying cautious bullshit was starting to wear on her patience, along with the rest of traffic. If one more smug speeder enthusiast slipped in front of her one more time, she might use one of the cannons. Only one. For a warning shot.

Their target was still a little ways ahead, but with a sharp decline and a bit of slippery maneuvering they would be at just the right level to break in. But he was the boss, after all.

The last time she didn't listen, she'd had to deal with his sullen silence for hours, and that was just because she stopped to get food. It wasn't her fault he even sucked at making instant noodles.

A visor would trail the movements of The Garrison as it trailed another ship. Vraes had come to Coruscant for one target and this would be the stepping stone. His quarry was one of his kin: Taldorak Trenessar. And it had become known to him that Tal was traveling in new circles. Deadly circles. And that accompanied in the form of Tacitus Agrippa. And then he heard from some scumbag he tortured about a job against some "Blackened Jet Empire".. sounded like an osik name for a small-time gang.

His visor would then move to focus on the stepping stone. The ship in question. He would move rooftop to rooftop in a foot chase before jumping onto a speeder. Landing in the back seat, he'd grip the headrest of the driver seat. "Drive. And make it fast. I won't hurt you, but they will if you stop." the Faleen would nod briskly as he punched the accelerator on his speeder.

Luckily for them, the ship was moving very slowly, as was the way with Coruscant traffic. They'd scream overhead of The Garrison before catching up with the Blackened Jet Empire ship. Vraes would then move to the side of the cab. "Vor'e. Kad guide you." he'd then leap from the speeder and land in a roll, atop the vessel. Staggering to his feet, he'd make his way to one of the hatches and pull free his vibroaxe free from its holder.

"Power of the Ancients.. guide me." Activating the blade, he'd begin to hack away with powerful swings, each one clanking resoundingly on the hatch. Each blow was powerful and he could hear some panic on the other side of it.

"What is that?" "Can they get through it?" "I dont know." A grin formed under the helm. He had their confusion, their worry. The Dread Wolf of Roon was here and he always got his prey.

Nero Agrippa would be in the back section of The Garrison. He was out cold on his bunk, his tattooed arm hanging off the side and touching the floor as a empty liquor bottle would slowly roll back and forth. Gently hitting his hand before rolling away to the door and repeating itself as he was in his slumber. His Astromech Droid Jackal.would be charging in its little dock station by his bed. Distant conversations would be heard down the hallway as Nero suddenly opened an eye as the Droid woke from its charge with a stern beep. Turning his head he would glance around his room as necklaces would sway hanging above his dresser and his closet of clothes shifted with the direction of the ship. Lifting himself up slowly as he never had a sweet clue what was going on or literally where he was for a second. Swinging his feet over the bed he would glance at Jackal.."You just love waking me.." he groaned as he stood up and cracked his body with a small stretch.

The Droid would chirp which Nero all knew well he was being called a Jackass by his lovely Droid companion. He partied the night before and must've passed out on the Garrison as the last thing he remembered he was at some party in Tatooine and now suddenly here..Interesting. It sounded like something fun was happening in the cockpit. Nero perked a brow as he quickly dawned his armour hung up in the corner of his roof and kept his helmet off to his side as his blaster rifle was slung over his shoulder. Walking over to the sink he would splash his face and wake up a bit as he made his way down the hallway. He had his usual small kit tucked in a sidebag on his hip as he walked half stumbling.

Reaching the cockpit he noticed his brother and some random girl flying the Garrison. Who the hell was she? Where the hell are we? Whose dying ? What're we doing?....Instead Nero just looked at his brother "lovely day." he said as his head was aching from his hangover. Leaning against the wall he would look out the cockpits window to see they were hot on a ships ass and trailing it. It seemed this was a point of interest

Tacitus grinned a little bit as Nero came out through the back of the Garrison, already in armor. He had picked his brother up out of a dive bar on some sand-encrusted asshole of a planet and only now was he waking up.

"Look who dragged himself out of his pit."
he joked, patting Nero on the chest, "Get ready little brother because we're going to be crashing a ship."

He pointed to the ship they were tailing, which had it's shields down and was not expecting an attack from a ship.

"Allegra? Gun the karking thing out of the sky."
he demanded of her with a grin, "Ram the karkers if you have to but I want them pissing smoke out into the air and crashing into the duracrete HARD."

Tac nodded to Nero.

"When it goes down, we're going in and we're killing everyone."
he told his brother bluntly, "No mistakes, no survivors and nothing to worry about."

She spared a sneaking glance to the one he called 'brother'; so this was Nero. He was kinda cute for a thug, but beyond that she wasn't too sure about him. Even from here he reeked of alcohol and bad ideas. But at Tac's words... a big grin touched her lips, and she chuckled quietly, focusing on the rear engines of their target.

"I love the smell of smoke in the morning."

Almost better than caf.

Rangers could be a problem if she fired down on them in Coru. Even with their HQ gone, they were just jerks enough to make a life miserable when plasma fire rained down on other ships. Something about risk to civilian casualties. So she just had to make it look like an 'accident'.

Giving the controls a swift yank and spin, the nose of the ship suddenly dipped and began banking down hard. To the common eye it looked like the ship suddenly lost engine power and began falling. From the viewport, the smoggy lights glinted like crystal, and the Blackened Jet Empire ship was within range.

He did say to ram them.

And without damaging the ship, no less.

As they started coming closer, there was a figure on the surface... hacking with a vibroaxe? Kriffin' weirdo.

Change of plans. The front laser turrets came online, and a swift shot sparked the rear engines. If they were gonna escape that easily, they would have to rely on jets. With a groaning shudder, she pulled the ship back up to level, angling hard to bring it in to ram against its' weakened engines with the reinforced hull rather than the weaker nose, forcing the other ship to suddenly sink hard and fast with a metallic screech. Hopefully the other guy had a way of hanging on, because she had orders and she wasn't gonna wuss out.

"Prepare for boarding in one minute," she called out over her shoulder calmly. Heart was pounding hard, hands were gripping the controls tight, but her shoulders were loose, her breathing easy.

Almost like there was nothing wrong with this weird scenario.

Vraes was about to swing again when the blast to engines nearly toppled him. He looked back and sprinted towards the damaged engines just as The Garrison rammed the other ship. There was a slight stumble before the path turned into an incline. His legs pumped as he made his way up to the breach, feeling the heat. He would reach the top as it hit a forty degree nose dive and locating a small breach in the hull, he dove in.

Now inside the ship at the most interesting and yet dangerous way possible, Vraes crashed through what was a ventilation shaft before breaking through the grate and landing smack down on the deck of the hall. The alarmed gangsters at the newfound trajectory were no alarmed by the sudden arrival of this Mandalorian. Calling on Kad, Vraes would have a quick recovery, his axes blade severing the closest pirates leg at the knee as he rolled to his feet. As the first man dropped, he drove the pike at the bottom of the haft into anothers chest. He could tell as he moved he had quite a few bruises already forming from the fall.

OUTSIDE

Lenny was just boarding his Galactic bugle shuttle. "Boy, I am so happy to get off this rock. Got some PTO set aside and I can get these stab wounds tre-" He'd be cut off as the nose of the Blackened Jet Empire ship crashed down into the shuttle. Five time Journalist Award winner Lenny would be no more.

FARTHER AWAY

It was just another day for Teddy. He enjoyed his fourth favorite pastime of watching the busy traffic of Coruscant whilst eating his favorite ice cream Preef Trax, the second variant of ice cream based on the famous gunslinger. He'd even finished sending JJ Johnson another crayon drawn death threat.. such a perfect day. Or at least it was, until he watched as one ship destroyed several others. As his jaw dropped, so did the ice cream scoop off of his cone.

Nero Agrippa would raise a eyebrow at his brother and looked out at the ship they were tailing..Shit was starting to get hot. Leaning on the wall as his stern face kept looking out the window. All he really heard or cared for was kill everyone, no survivors. That's really all Nero needed to hear. All the motion of jerking, gliding and weaving was making Nero even more grumpier as he slowly pulled his helmet on. Thank god he never had to think to much on what the goal is as he heard the pilot chick call out boarding in a minute. Making his way down the hallway he would go by the door in his armor as he opened the door and felt the wind whipping on his face.

It felt great and refreshing, plus the smell of smoke and death always made him feel better after a hangover. Nero would slide his blaster rifle closer to his shoulder and leaned out a bit to look at the ship going down with speed. Feeling a rumble in his stomach he would quickly remove his helmet and throw up his entire guts out the side of the ship as he would slowly slip the helmet back on."Kriff me today.." he grumbled. Hearing a couple quick sounding chirps from Jackal who was watching him at the end of the walkway, Nero would raise his armored gloved hand with the middle finger sticking up. "Oh eat shit." Nero grumbled as the droid seemed to be having a good laugh.

Well the ship was going down and his brother was throwing up out the side of the ship - so that was two loads of shite they were raining down onto the people of Coruscant today and Tacitus didn't give a kark about either one. The ship of the Blackened Jet Empire crashed violently atop one of the many buildings - thankfully one with a roof flat enough that they merely skidded rather than smashing through something.

But the important thing was that they had stopped moving and there were now holes in the hull ripe for entry.

"Alright little brother here we go!"
he shouted back to Allegra, "Bring us down for a dismount then give us overwatch! Monitor the ranger and local PD channels!"

When the ship was low enough to the rooftop that jumping wasn't a quick way to commit suicide, Tacitus made the jump and brought his blaster rifle up immediately. He waved for Nero to follow him as he rushed forward, stopping at the side of the hole near the engines.

"Rip and tear brother."

She nodded once, reactivating the rear thrusters and bringing the Garrison in for a closer landing to the wreck. Wait.. was the nose of that ship red before? She hoped not. Tuning the stations, she nodded once. "Right boss!" she called over one shoulder. Engines were prepped for a quick exit should need be; in and out, hopefully.

Vraes would advance down the hall, one enemy corpse held up in front of him like a meat shield as it sucked up the bolts coming his way. When the first bolt ripped through the body and pinged off of the cuirass, Vraes would launch him at two of his fellows, toppling them. Quickly priming a wrist rocket, he fired it down the hall at the pile of bodies, sealing the fate of all three.

A yell off to his side announced the arrival of an enemy with vibrosword and as the blade swung downward, the Dread Wolf of Roon would catch the blade on his axe, using his sheer might to overpower the gangster as he shoved him into a nearby wall to stun him. Dazed, the gangster would join his friends in death as the head of the axe clubbed him in the skull.

Nero Agrippa would nod to his brother as he made the call. Tightening the strap on his blaster rifle he would wait for the ship to lower as he jumped right behind his older brother. Bringing his blaster up he would push off with speed behind him as the small set of thermal detonators rattled in his side bag. Once stacked on the hole near the engines Nero would tap his comlink as he spoke to his brother underneath the helmet that concealed his face with a dark visor. "Breaching." he would call out sternly as he cut the corner of the hole and looked right immediately to see a couple workers who were hurt and on their knees while one was sat upright and trying to tend to their wounds.

Nero fired a quick two bolts into both of them as they fell over lifeless. Wires hung and sparks in the backdrop were hitting the floor from the ceiling as everything was a mess of rubble and hoses. Small fires were in the ship as they began to spread as Nero turned to hear a loud explosion coming from somewhere in the ship. Sounded like small arms fire and grenades. As he kept pushing the hallway by the engine room he would let his brother know of his location as he dispatched any people that were alive in his way.

Shan was on the fifth level of a hotel type of building enjoying the small garden and waterfall that was in a corner of the building. It was complete with a sky light and lights that belped the exotic plants grow. Even a beast like himself can learn to find a spot to relax. This was it for the reptile.

Then all of a sudden there was nothing but sheer panic in the building Shan was in. People scrambling to get to the lower levels or out all together. The raptor had no idea what exactly was going on but he could make out some yelling that there is a ship of unknown size coming down. Naturally the people worried about this ship crashing into the building.

Now usually Shan isn't moved. But something in the raptor told him to head up and maks sure everyone was coming down from the upper levels incase what some are yelling is true. To avoid clogging of the stairway the armored reptile scaled up the stairway by jump climbing the stair way.

Luckily people were being smart by working their way down the stairs and elevators instead of staying put. At one point the raptor was able to start running up the stairs as the number of people using the stairs became zero after reaching an unknown floor level. He eventually reached a door that will take him onto the roof of the building. Checking his rifle, other gear and armor the raptor shoved the door open as he heard what sounded like metal scrapping against the roof surface.

Upon stepping out of the doorway he was greeted by the sight of a banged up ship. Parts of the ship had holes big enough to allow people to get on the ship if they choose. Walking towards the ship the raptor moved to stand behind a large, and damaged air vent to use the object as cover as he observed the seen. He could hear the sounds of gunshots. Glancing up he spotted another ship that hovered while a human jumped down to the rooftop.

Either they are terrorists or they are criminals with no honor. His claws lightly scrapped against the barrel of his rifle as he adjusted his grip on the weapon. Stepping out of his hiding spot, but remained close enough to duck back behind the air vent if anyone who is working on taking down the ship shoots at the reptile.

"If you know what is good for you. You will stop right there." Shan yelled, aiming his rifle in the direction of the man standing next to the hole. While he could only see the one, by the sounds of blaster fire he guessed there are more. He didn't really worry about the one in the ship hovering above.

Oh for shrak's sake - how quick did these karking Rangers want to be? They'd crashed the damned ship like less than five minutes ago and there were already responders? Either they'd picked a bad spot to do the crash or the Rangers had much better response times than he had ever heard of them having. Nero was already in the ship so when the voice called out, Tacitus immediately dove into the ship as well.

Moving to stand to one side of the hole, Tacitus leaned out slightly to see who had spoken.

... huh.

"We're not doing anything to anyone who didn't deserve it!"
he called out to the rather large lizard holding the blaster rifle, "The Blackened Jet Empire needs to go down and no one else was stepping up to do it."

They probably would have done but eh, Tacitus had decided to strike at them first so he was happy to set the narrative. He'd struck out against organized crime first in this case so he reserved the right to at least pretend to have the moral high ground in this case.

"Why don't you turn tail and back away, Ranger?"
he called back, grip on his rifle tightening, "We ain't here to kill lawmen or innocent civies - just some criminal scumbags who need to pay the price! All you gotta do to have an entire organized crime gang go down? Is just take five steps back and let us finish."

Looked like a big ol' reptile was standing there with a blaster rifle in their hands. It was almost laughable as it kinda looked like a toy; pity do-gooders had to make an appearance. "Junker," she called over to the B-10 droid hovering over the controls with her. It let out a whistling click, and a slight binary grumble at the moniker. "Keep an ear out for other Ranger and local PD interference."

She could blast the dino outta the sky if she had to with one of the ship guns, but she had some mild faith in her bosses. Besides, part of the ship, part of the crew. But if necessary she could dart off and man a weapon to make the reptilianoid back off.

An' she wasn't leaving the Garrison on her life. The Agrippa brothers could probably handle themselves on the ground; it was part of the risk of being on Coru and assaulting a ship mid-air. Still, engines were prepped for a speedy bug-out if it proved too hairy; she'd wait for the word from the bossman.

Vraes half carried half-dragged a man by the throat as he walked the halls. He could hear more blasterfire so that's where he went. His passenger would try to slap the arm as the light left his eyes and soon, the man went slack. Turning the corner, he'd find himself before Nero and tossed down the corpse at his feet. "You lot sure took your time." The Mandalorian would say, axe in hand as the haft rested on his shoulder. "Plenty more to kill if you're interested."

Nero Agrippa would be moving down the hallway as he stopped to hear his brother on the comlink talking to someone. "The Kark is that?" He would turn before seeing a big ass mando just show up from the other end of the hallway and suddenly threw a body at his feet. Perking a eyebrow he would stare up at the big ass armored behemoth. "Well shit, are you sure there any left or did you evaporate them into oblivion." he would wonder as it seemed this mano already was laying waste. Turning his head back around the corner, Nero would see Tacitus was inside and talking to some shooter outside that had them zeroed by the entrance. Shrugging as he figured his brother would handle it.

"Alright big fella, lets kark these guys up." With that he would push down the other end of the hallway that the mando never came from. If he wished to join him he was more than welcome or he could always have the option of trying to go out the breaching wall and get shot at from a hero on a roof. Levelling his blaster up he would push deeper into the ship and quickly dispatching the wounded criminals with a swift bolt to the face. The damage the ship sustained was severe and majority of the enemy force was already wounded or disoriented from the heavy crash.

Making his way down the hallway with glee as he almost could've skipped with blaster rifle in hand as he was making his way to the bridge where he assumed the last of the officers of the organization would most likely be hiding.

"You've got to be kidding me." Even from a far off, it was almost unbelievable to see. Two ships had collided and landed atop a flat-roofed tower. While the skyways of Coruscant were almost always crowded, but the probability of this being unintentional seemed pretty unlikely. The echoes of blaster fire didn't help either. The streets below already had denizens fleeing from the scene with some fire and rescue crews making their way to the ground floor. Lieutenant Corran Velt was riding along with the Coruscanti Constabulary in one of their emergency speeders meant to haul a whole squad or haul away a whole crew of criminals. Today it had half its intended load of cops. If anyone was on sensors, they'd see the PD signal. They were rushing to the scene - no need to be quiet about it.

Corran was standing with his hand gripping and overhead rail for stability and the other holding onto the seat of the pilot. "Make landing on the roof - we need to get in there fast," the Sector Ranger said without breaking his stare at the unfolding scene. The police pilot did a double-take at the man at his shoulder, "Are you crazy? I'm landing on solid ground." The young man shifted his jaw a bit in uncertainty. By the time most of law enforcement got up those stairs, this whole thing could be a lot worse. Or they all would be nearly too winded to take action. "Fine," the lieutenant groaned, "Just drop me off on your way down." The pilot performed yet another double-take followed by a shrug. "Your funeral."

Rhythmic thuds announced the arrival of the heavy air speeder as it drummed up to the edge of the building, near what little available roof space there was. Corran flung open the side door and prepped himself to jump across the small chasm. "Thank you for the lift!" He shouted back over the engines before leaping. Nearly before he rolled onto the rooftop tile, the Coruscanti Constabulary speeder was descending. With a grunt, the blond ranger slammed into an air-duct. He took a moment to catch his breath and draw one of his sidearms from its secured holster. With a quick inhale he pushed off his knuckles to get to his feet. Despite the expected chaos, only a human male stood atop one of the grounded ships with a reptilian sentient pointing a blaster rifle at the other.

"Sector Rangers! Put your weapons down!" Lt. Velt called out, switching the iron-sights of his blaster between the two. Whatever was going on here was certainly no accident.

Flynn was enjoying a well earned break, letting the kid pilot the ship while he brewed himself a hot caf. She had flown the old freighter enough time to be able to do the entry and landing on her own, while Flynn enjoyed his drink. He had just settled down with his brew when a nervous call came through the ship's intercom.

"Jaeger," the voice echoed through the small kitchenette, "you better come up here." He let out an exasperated sigh and stared down the steaming cup in his hands. After a moment he put it back on the counter and got to his feet, moving towards the bridge.

"What is it this time, if we're alive then it can't be too serious." he said as he entered the bridge, voice trailing off as he looked out the viewport and noticed what she had seen, "Okay, okay. Maybe a little serious." The trail of smoke coming from the rooftop was bad enough, and the kid filled him in with the rest to add to the sense of urgency. "Report on the scanner, two ships crashed into each other. We might be the closest aerial support". He jumped into the pilot's seat, switching from the tired mentor to alert officer. "Taking control, begin scanning local frequencies, keep an ear out for updates." The kid nodded as she got to work, sending word out on the Ranger frequencies, while Flynn took control of the ship and moved in towards the rooftop and began hailing the ship that was still in the air, his scans finally picking up its weapons as they got closer. That wasn't good.

"Unknown vessel, this is Sector Ranger Flynn Jaeger. Power down your weapons and pull back from the tower."

Kaz was on rotation due to how short staffed the Rangers were. He grew increasingly frustrated with his skills not being put to use as he continued to be put on traffic duty. Even here on his rotation in Coruscant he was stuck with citation duty. He was in the middle of writing a ticket for a speeder parked in a tow zone when all hell broke loose.

Huge chunks of debris fell from a building and he sprang back as some of it crushed the speeder he was writing the ticket for. Kaz blinked in surprise at the caved in speeder, smoke coming from the back. He glanced up at the roof and awkwardly stepped forth to stick the parking ticket on the slab of metal that was now there.

Comms buzzed and he was bolting before he even processed what was happening. He grabbed a hard hat from a nearby construction worker as makeshift protection. He wasn’t given a helmet or any nice armor for the rank or duty he served. Kaz quickly made his into an express repulsorlift that was still functioning. It shot him up to the top level in seconds, and he took the stairs to lead up to the roof.

Kaz arrived on the scene, recognizing Lt. Velt. He had his blaster out and pointed at the perp next to the hole in the ship. Being a rookie, he was a bit more trigger happy. He aimed and shot a stun bolt directly at the comlink the perp had. The goal was to destroy it immediately and cut him off from anyone else.
