Shan hissed. The Blackened Jet Empire? The reptilian had no idea what that was. But it sure did sound like a name a organized crime organization would give itself. Still the Tiss had to wonder if this man was law enforcement or if he too was from another crime organization taking down rivals from another organization.

He kept his rifle fixed on the man, "Ranger? I ain't no ranger, Human. And what makes you think you didn't kill anyone during all this?" He asked the man as Shan tried to by some time to think of what to do here. Figuring that if he got any closer or did anything rash that the person in the ship will blow him to pieces. He had three choices, cooperate and walk away, attack the ship or attack the man. Either of the last two options will result in the other attacking. That is if they didn't shoot him in the back if he chose to leave. Then there are the others inside the ship.

Sure is one hell of a situation he got himself into.

Which only appeared to get worse when a real Ranger followed by a second burst onto the scene announcing himself. Then of all things a ship with the pilot announcing he is another Ranger. Just how many are there?

"Well would you look at that, Human. The very thing you mistaken me for have arrived." He told the man he had been point his rifle at. Shan looked to the Ranger and as much as he didn't want to placed his rifle down on the ground, "Though I do not know how many.. from the blaster fire I heard earlier there are others inside the damaged ship." He told Lt. Velt.

Well kark, the cavalry had shown up.

Thankfully he was already inside the ship when the Rangers started arriving but hanging around in a crashed ship wasn’t his idea of a good time either. He was about to speak more with the Rangers and the lizard civilian who had accompanied them when one of the Rangers started the dialogue by firing at him with a stun pistol, though what he was aiming at seemed to be his head. Ducking his head back round the broken hull of the ship, he grit his teeth as he noticed something that wasn’t good.

He had been kind of holding his comlink against the length of his rifle so as to speak while keeping his gun at the ready but he had held it a little too far out from cover. It had been firmly in his hand and working fine - the emphasis there was on ‘had’ been since the Ranger had managed to shoot the top of it clean off in a display or either sheer dumb luck or skill. He didn’t know which way round it was. Right out of his hand!

“Karking hells!” he cursed, “So you want a shootout over this, Rangers?! Fine by me!”

Sticking his rifle barrel around the side of the wall, he would fire a round of three stun shots in the general direction of the Rangers to get them to take cover before rushing deeper into the ship, sliding behind a bend in the ship’s corridor.

“Nero stop dicking around – we got Rangers firing on us!”
he would call out to the rest of the ship loudly, kneeling just out round the corner with his rifle up to cover the hole in the ship he had entered through originally, “Tell Allegra to go play in traffic to shake off pursuit until we call her back!”

He… actually didn’t know there was another guy in the ship actually but if he wasn’t going to knife him in the back then it was all good to him.

She couldn't get in contact with Tacitus, which meant shit had gone sideways. And the damn Rangers didn't use their comm channels; this was starting to get annoying.

Speaking of annoyances...

Kriffing ship snuck up on her. A light freighter from the looks of it. She ground her teeth in annoyance, the droid co-pilot warbling in distress. "I know, I know!" she snapped, and it turned a photoreceptor at her, letting out another series of beeps and trills. "Yeah, don't get much of a choice do we?"

She pinged down the private channel to that other one. Tac's brother, was he? She couldn't remember. The one that upchucked off the side of the ship. "Gonna be turnin', can ya reach the boss?" she clipped out. "Keep me posted."

She powered up... and began to maneuver out of range, keeping an eye on the other pilot's lasers. "Maintain shields, keep it nonhostile for now," she answered. She was pretty sure the last thing Tac would want is holes in the Garrison. And after all, it merely looked like there was an engine malfunction for now. But it was a shame she didn't have her old X-wing; she could've done for somethin' fancier than what these two chuckleheads wanted. And playing the innocent crewmember was probably not gonna hold for long.

"Keep the old girl steady..." she muttered as it began to peel back from the tower. "Now let's go, kid." The droid let out a warbled query.

"Yeah, let's boogey." With a sudden roar, the engines powered to life, maneuvering straight into the traffic flow again and attempting to lose its' new predator.

"Not gonna play with the Rangers down there, they probably like bread."

As Nero began to walk past his brother, he'd definitely almost walk right into Vraes, the large Mandalorian would move his axe just so the nicely dressed man didn't carve his face up. "Set charges up here if you want to kill the rest. Then we can sneak out the hole at the bottom of the hull. I'm sure it'll be a short drop, but unless they have ascension lines, we don't need to worry about them. And if they do?" he'd shrug. Only have to worry about one direction."

"Or, we can head for that opening now. I'm sure they are trying to get the high ground here. My ship isn't too far from here, hell, we could even do some damage with it on the way out."
Vraes added with a laugh.

Nero Agrippa would stop as he heard that random chick in the Garrison call for him. It seemed they had company. "Tacitus you there?" he would call as it seemed he received no answer. Suddenly he heard yelling coming down the hallway as it was his brother. "Rangers?" he heard. Turning his head with his helmet on he would look at the big mando. "I got no charges other than a bag of thermal detonators.." He had a idea. Tapping his comlink as he spoke to that random ass woman in the ship. "Push off if you can, we'll make a rendezvous point. Stay in touch." with that he would bring his rifle back up. "I'd say exit through the back hole..Going out the front doesn't seem appealing."

He would make his way down the hallway to his brother. "We got a exit, lets boogey." with that he would retrieve a detonator and put in 4-5 feet from the door down the hallway. He would hide it under some rubble as it looked nearly impossible to spot. Hopefully this would keep them away from trying to push the front entrance. As he doubled back to the mando he would say in a excited tone. "They're going to try to come in through any backdoors or vents..If they get close I'll lob a thermal at them and we immediately break contact." With that he would move back deeper into the ship and let the mando lead the way. Nero could handle the fighting part but the exit strategy he would leave to the mando and his brother

A situation already in chaos continued to spiral. A light freighter began hovering over the crash site, hopefully to render aid. The Reptilian that was periodically in Corran's gunsights tipped him off that the ship pressed into the roof was being boarded and attacked by the ship on top of it? Based on the position of the other armed human visible, that seems plausible. At least a better explanation than whatever else would cause the insane happenstance of two ships colliding and crashing on a roof would be. The lieutenant opened his mouth to speak until another individual burst onto the scene. They had a construction worker's hard-hat on and... was that a Sector Ranger badge?

With no hesitation, the new-comer flashed a blaster. "No, wait!" Corran shouted quickly but to no avail. Blue bolts tore through the air. An angered cry followed by returning fire forced him to hit the ground. He rapidly scrambled behind the cover of an exit air-duct and switched his comm-link to the emergency channel for all security forces, rangers included. "We are taking hostile fire on the roof! I repeat, hostile fire. We need back-up, over!" If that didn't get those constables a few flights down to hustle, nothing would.

The ship atop the other began to lift off from its prey, kicking up debris and dust as its thrusters pushed off and it began to peel away. Corran covered his head and face with his arms. Were they bailing on their ground crew stuck here or was the guy who opened fire part of the second group? It didn't really matter. They were all breaking the law anyway. With disciplined precision, the lieutenant rose from his cover and began firing stun bolts at the spot where the enemy fire had came from. It wasn't intended to hit any target, but suppress anyone if they were there. "Ranger!" He called out to the other comrade on the roof, "Find another way in and flank them. I'll cover you!" Without a ship to escape on, law enforcement had them cornered.

Not knowing if the bolts were aimed for him as well the rangers the reptile ducked behind an air vent for cover. Hissing a bit as Shan examined the situation in his head. No he is not thinking about running like a coward. Running away like a coward is the last thing he will allow himself to do. He didn't survive years of being a slave to allow himself to be labeled a coward for running away from a blaster fire fight.

He glanced at Lt. Velt as he addressed the other ranger. The one who is clearly responsible for starting this fire fight by being too trigger happy. Shan reached over and grabbed his rifle that is still laying on the ground, "It is clear you need help. I will offer you my assistance, human." He told Velt as the raptor changed his rifle rounds from lethal to stun, "Just tell me where you want me and I will see my part seen to." The reptilian hoped that he wouldn't be sent with the trigger jumpy kid, he may just get the both of them killed if he doesn't settle down and get himself thinking straight.

Out of habit, as he waited to be given instructions, the Tiss checked over his armor and weapons. Never hurts to check when there is time to do so.

Hopefully he won't be sidelined because he ain't a Ranger or still labeled as a suspect.

As the comms came to life with Ranger activity, Flynn let out a sigh of relief, figuratively speaking that is. Things were under control on the roof, or they would be soon enough, so he could freely focus on things up here. Of course he had no idea who the Rangers were down there, but that was a part of the job, you did your bit and trusted in those that stood with you to do their bit.

"I see it," he said to the kid as the ship started moving, "lock on to their signature, continue scanning, run a search on markings to see if anything like that is in the systems." He was hoping things were as straightforward as they looked, that this was a crash and the ship was nothing more than a curious eves dropper. So when the ship dropped off into traffic and tried to vanish, he had half a thought to pursue, but then he heard it over the comms. Hostile fire on the roofs!

"Keep an eye on the scanners," he said as he moved into position near the tower, "the moment you spot that ship swing back this way you let me know, it might be part of whatever is going on here."

He brought the ship in position, he took in the lay of the land on the roof before firing one shot at the downed ship's flank, on the side opposite to the Rangers. With the light lasers on the ship, one shot would not be enough to significantly damage the downed ship, but it would make it shake. "Unidentified combatants," his voice would boom out over the Coruscant airspace as he switched on the ship's broadcast system, "stand down, this is your last warning."

They had an exit? Well this he had to see because he wasn’t about to admit he didn’t fancy his odds at tangling with a dinosaur and coming out looking as pretty as he did currently. Blasters and sword? Yeah sure he would take his chances but claws the length of his hand? Yeah he was very much looking forward to getting the hell out of here. He nodded to Nero who was slightly deeper into the ship than the hole he was taking cover to the side of.

“Alright brother we’ll play it like that – what’s the exit idea?”

He would have called it an exit strategy but they had been thinking of escape for barely ten seconds at this point – it was more of an exit ‘vague idea’ at this point. Thankfully the Rangers seemed content to just stand around by and wait… though he realized why when he was rushing toward the nose of the ship.

The entire ship shuddered with the impact of a the laser against the side of the downed ship but Tacitus shrugged a little bit.

“Typical Rangers… shoot first then demand an end to the violence they started…” he glared at his brother and, the other one, as he arrived just outside the cockpit of the ship, “Stun only. Difference between stun and blasters right now is about ten to fifteen years so park it in stun. What’s this escape plan?”

He kept an eye on the interior of the ship, his rifle still pointed at the hole he had originally entered through, which was at the back of the ship. The Rangers on the rooftop were still through that way so he kept it covered, ready to open fire if they stepped inside.

They didn't seem to be actively pursuing her, which was a good thing, but doing an immediate turnabout wasn't gonna help anyone. Bossman's bro kept her apprised, now she would just have to wait for the word from anyone on their side to swing around and grab. So instead she kept the ship running through the basic planetary traffic lines, and kept an ear out for word from Tac or Nero.

Vraes would make his way to the cockpit and open the doors, only to be greeted by the surprise that both pilot and co-pilot were still alive, albeit, barely. Tucking away his axe, he'd pull both of them from the seats and drag them to the escape pods. "We can use these as a decoys for our escape."

Throwing them both in one, he'd get ready to fire the pods from the panel in the hall. "This should buy us some breathing room." He'd jettison both pods, each one going separate ways to the street below. "They'd be foolish to not check on them."
