Happy October! Spooky happenings have started popping up in abundance all over the galaxy, and it's up to the Jedi to lend a helping hand against the horrors that have emerged. But be careful! Things aren't always how they seem...

All the the following should be understood as prompts and I encourage you all to take liberties and amp up the horror! Please only sign up for one thread at a time. Additionally, if all participants agree, feel free to write the thread as Death Enabled.

— Abject Horror
Location: Iridonia
Classification: Ask
Supervision: Self-DM, DD
Personnel: @Arctus Friers , @Ariadne Blain, & @Edaara Tonor
Status: Ongoing

There are things that look human but aren't—at least not anymore. A cemetery on Iridonia has housed the dead for centuries, but a distress call was sent out to the Jedi when bodies began to disappear. Where there once were beautifully kept, peaceful graves, there are now gaping maws where bodies once laid. The cemetery tender believes that the bodies weren't stolen; they dug themselves up.

Find the missing bodies and discover the cause of this rotten revival before something sinister comes to fruition.

— The Insatiable Hungerer
Location: Trilon Sector
Classification: Ask
Supervision: Self-DM, DD
Personnel: @Alexandria Voran, @Maura Starwalk, @Tahiri, & @Brienna Lanaamer
Status: Ongoing

Legends tell of creatures that slither throughout dead space, forever in search of anything to sate their unending appetites. Their forms, camouflaged with the stars, never stop growing and can reach such massive sizes that they can swallow whole asteroids—or even small ships.

Reports of one of these creatures have suddenly sprung to the Jedi's attention. Massive, hungry, and destructive, it's been swallowing entire ships whole and disappearing thousands of pilots off the map. Survivors report that it appears somewhat like the space-faring Star adders—the proximity to Rattatak only further confirms the possibility—but the creature seems ravaged by some kind of corruption that is causing the creature to be infinitely more aggressive.

Find a way to subdue the creature, or find the source of its unnatural aggression. But be careful, because there is nowhere to hide in open space.

— Things Which Should Not Be
Location: Free Worlds' space
Classification: Ask
Supervision: Dice, DD
Personnel: @Hieronymus Crane, @Eirik Sunwielder, & ?
Status: Ongoing

There are things that, when viewed by the sentient mind, can only be explained as something that should not be. Their forms are utterly alien, their behavior erratic, and their broken minds seem animalistic and uncannily intelligent at the same time.

A ship in the midst of Free Worlds' space has sent out a distress signal calling for help after being assaulted by a Killik attack vessel. But when a reply was sent back, there was no answer, and scanners didn't pick up on any activity between either of the two ships.

Rendezvous at the ship's location to answer the distress signal, but be careful. Not only are the Killiks somehow involved, but the vessel had reportedly been illegally transporting AMS victims to an Outer Rim planet to conduct illegal testing.

— Finding Bones
Location: Orsimer Prime
Classification: Ask
Supervision: Dice, DD
Personnel: @Faen Akatosh, @Atias Zaldreell & @Sybella Demici
Status: Ongoing

Generally, the only kind of people excited to find bones are archeologists in their dig sites. However, they're usually excited about the bones of long-deceased fauna or ancestor species, not the recently picked-apart bones of their colleagues.

Far off on the dangerous planet of Orsimer Prime, an independent team of archeologists have spent the last couple of weeks working on a dig site where a buried village inhabited by an Orcolan ancestor was found. About fifty persons were sent, but over the span of two nights, just twenty were left. The nearest local tribe believes this may be the work of the Ubır, a creature of Orcish folklore said to emerge after sunset and devour the bodies of any being it sees, then disappear again at sunrise.

Investigate the dig site and the picked-corpses, protect the remaining archeologists, and stop whatever has designated these people as their prey.
