If the atmosphere outside of the capital arena in Bakuras capital was anything to go by, then the air inside was bound to be palatable of the tension and bent up frustrations of the gathered fans. It was the final game of the Repulsor Puck play off finals, the two remaining teams, long standing rivals were tied at two games a piece with the winner of this match deciding the outcome. Fans draped in their team colours moved about the arena grounds, exchanging tribal like chanting at the fans of the opposing team, a light wall of flimsy barricades and security forces separating the two groups, as the chants seemed to get increasingly abrasive.

Standing at the edge of the que waiting to feed through the turnstiles into the arena, a young blonde female dressed in the Crimson colours of the home team waited for her guest to make it through the crowd to join her. An invite was made to a fellow guardian to join her at the finals, whilst on the surface it seemed to be little more than an opportunity to get to know amd build a rapport with other members of the Eternal. There was an added motive that lay in between the lines of her recent correspondence to the Amaran, the tension and action wasn't going to be kept in the field, the crowds have been steadily building in shared aminousity towards their rivals. The chants becoming increasingly toxic in nature, small brawls had broken out between the more intoxicated of fans. It was a bulging powder keg that was waiting to blow. All it needed was a little persuasion.

Reaching into her handbag, just to double check that she had the data chips that served as her tickets for the event, Alyse wrapped her fingers around the chips before moving then into the pocket of her leggings. Before closing up her purse and taking a deep breath as she closed her eyes, reaching out and feeling the mood around her through the Force. The currents were alive with the darkside, anger, worry and even a drop of fear could be felt, the collective mass of supporters through their own passions for the game and their team had electrified the Force away from the peace and calm that the Jedi would so often pursue. The Force felt to the cultist as if it was in its nautual state, alive with the vibrancy of raw emotion.

A smile crossed Alyse's features as she reveled in the sensation, for too long now, the currents of the Force around her had felt stale and stagnant. Bakura had grown complacent with its standing in the assumed peace of the Galaxy, plodding along with the mundane routine of existence. The playoffs seemed to be one of the few times when the world actually felt alive, but that reason alone wasn't why she was here, nor why she had invited Korak to the game. Dragging a cultist out to the back waters just to show how vibrant a sports arena felt in the Force was a fools errant, and one that would do little to accomplish the Eternal's goals. No they were there to bring a match to this heated event, with the view to turn up the heat and really rile up the fans - with the hope that the beligerant chanting would escalate into something the security forces had not prepared for. It was part of the various plans set into motion to strengthen the Bakurans governance, once that would bring it back to the autocratic rules of yester year. In readiness for it to serve the Sith Eternal as it once did the Sith empires of old.

Despite having grown up on a drunkard's dirt farm, Korsak had come to consider himself a cultured and refined mammal. He had developed a taste for artifacts of culture and high society, as well as intellectual pursuits such as research and the arts. So he had to keep reminding himself that he had a good reason to be on Bakura as he was shouted at, jostled, and aggressively petted by the drunks and repulsor-puck hooligans that surrounded him.

Korsak had come to this hellish cacophony of painful noises and nauseating smells was to incite a full-scale sports riot. Even without the thick waves of anger, hatred, fear, and confusion that rolled off the stadium Korsak could tell this place was teetering on the edge of total anarchy. Drunken fans chanted obscenity-ridden songs at their opponents and stamped their feet like animals in some kind of dominance display. He could turn this stadium into a bloodbath with a thrown cup of beer and a short insult, but what would he learn from that?

A chance to practice his mind manipulation powers was what brought Korsak here today, and not some quest from the Eternal to burn down the galaxy and hope something survived the blaze. Korsak cared little for the political or religious goals of his order, and was instead here to pursue his own ends of understanding and greater power. This was a chance to stretch his proverbial muscles, nothing more.

Korsak made sure his tickets were on hand as he moved further and further up the line, dressed in a comically oversized jersey of the off-world team. He wanted to get into this arena and get this little experiment overwith as quickly as possible. He'd already alerted the other Guardian in the vicinity to his seat location, and he knew roughly where she would be sitting, at a predetermined time they would spring into action and light the spark this open fuel-line was looking for.

And Korsak would take great satisfaction in watching these people rip each other apart.

The arrival of another dark presence had given indication that her fellow cultist had arrived at the stadium, giving the blonde woman her cue to move into the lines of the home team admission gates. Clutching her tickets, Alyse passed through the turnstile and into the security checks. Opening her handbag as instructed, the blonde cultist handed it over the security personnel to examine as she stepped through the metal detector's all to ensure that she wasn't carrying any illegal substances or anything that could be used as a weapon.

Once she had cleared security, the blonde cultist made her way through the concourse, her chestnut hued gaze scouring along the wall, looking for the seating zone that matched what was noted on her ticket. After a moment of feeling like this search for her seat was going to last far too long, the thought crossing her mind of abandoning her search and grabbing a portion of Chokie from one of the concession stands. Shaking her head clear of the thought, mostly in part to the weight of the que that had formed at the stand - no doubt by the time she got her food order the match will had started.

After a short while longer, Alyse had finally found her seat, in time for the prematch opening ceremony, the giant screens flashing with all sorts of graphics, booming out loud music to hype up the crowd for the final match of the season. As she settled down in her seat, the blonde's attention fell onto a rather bullish looking member of the home supporting crowd. Her gaze narrowing as she focused her attention on the man, channelling the Force through her mind's eye and over towards the man. Her intent to start influencing and ensnaring the man's mind in preparation, however it seemed that her target's mind was better guarded than she had assumed.

Relinquishing the flow of the Force between her and her target, Alyse sank into the padding of her seat with a resigned sigh - she needed to rest herself for a moment to regain and recenter herself before attempting to reach into the mind of another target.

While he resented the type of cutesy, kid-friendly treatment it often got him, Korsak was glad now at least for his plush appearance since he was able to make it through the turnstile without security glaring him down, as they were being overwhelmed by rowdy repulsor-puck hooligans. Compared to them a stuffed animal standing a little over one meter tall was barely worth paying attention to, let alone scrutinizing or suspecting. Maybe on his way out he would try to bend one of the officers to attack the stadium fanatics, that would be something to see considering they wore blasters. But he would just have to take this one step at a time, for now he would settle into his seat and figure out where to start this fire.

Finding his seat wasn't particularly hard, he was up in the nosebleeds overlooking the stadium from the opposition side. Actually reaching his seat was another matter entirely since the entire stand was a thrashing throng of hooligans that he had to fight to make his way through, literally. He had to elbow an Ualaq Aqualish in the groin to muscle his way to his seat, and if the man and his friends weren't so drunk he imagined that would've ended in more than uproarious laughter and back-slapping.

Once he found his seat for the opening ceremony Korsak surveyed the stand for someone that looked particularly inebriated and belligerent, snarling and snapping as the Bakuran anthem played over the opening ceremony. A perfect mark. With a gesture he began to worm his way into the man's mind, a simple task considering how little competition he had for the space. With his claws firmly but figuratively sunk into the man's mind Korsak prepared for the opening ceremony to be over, when he would make his pawn's move.

The sound of two rapid bursts of the klaxon ringing out over the ambient din of the attending crowd, putting an end to the opening ceremonies, as the pitch was cleared of the questionable celebrities that had been dragged out from obscurity to drum up some hype for the game - and to a degree their failing careers, shamelessly plugging their latest holonet show. The teams had started to file into their positions on the arena floor, as the announcer rang out over the speaker giving the count down for when the final was due to begin.

Whilst she was by no means enthusiastic about sports, the only times she dabbled in a physical oursuit, was during her sparing sessions and low key fencing tournaments. Alyse couldn't deny that the organisers sure put in alot of effort to hype up the crowds, even though it was perhaps to the best part lost on her. It was fascinating to observe how the crowd reacted in line with the tempo and energy that the arena had drummed into the now fired up crowd.

The final claxon sounded, as the stadium erupted into cheers and chants as the game commenced, the players swarming about in the arena, tackling and doing all they could to take and keep possession of the Puck. Still a bit off kilter from her past attempt at infiltrating and bending the will of the bullish looking man, the blonde cultist pursed her lips in thought before getting onto her feet. Her hands raising up and slapping together to ring out a series of rapid claps, before calling out the home teams nickname "Blitzers", and repeating the process.

A wry smile crossing her features as other fans around her started to join in, getting to their feet and clapping and chanting out in the established rhythm. And like the general expectation for mob mentality, it grew among the fans in her seating section. The crowd around her were hyping themselves up, following in Alyse's example. Hopefully leaving themselves distracted and open for the cultist to infiltrate into the mind of another target.

As the festivities finally started, Korsak got up and cheered along with the rest of the crowd, but his true attention was on the jeering fan whose mind he'd infiltrated. The man was holding a half-filled can of Chokie, and seemed intent on inflicting some pain on the 'Blitzers' across the field who dared to support the wrong sports team. It seemed like the perfect time to start influencing his mind, encouraging him to throw that can out onto the field. A small gesture but fires were started by sparks, not the other way around.

Unfortunately, in the throws of anger and drunkenness Korsak's grip on the man's mind was weaker than he first thought, and instead of sending the can hurtling onto the field he instead hucked it up into the air, where it fell back down and clocked Korsak in the head. The blow was painful enough, but the shock caused him to lose his mental grip on the man as he reeled from the knock to the head. The only even conceivable bright side to this situation was that Korsak wasn't bleeding. Hopefully Alyse was having a better time influencing these hooligans.

Well the chanting had gotten the stand around her charged up, the fans had moved on from the rhythmic clapping and chanting of the team's nickname and devolved into a series of derogatory chants being directed towards the opposition and their supporters. Now seemed as good a time as any to try and infiltrate the minds of the hooligans around her, they appeared to be distracted enough with directing their bitterness and frustrations over towards the the opposing team. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath and opened her mind back into the Force once again, stretching out into the minds of those around her, looking for a weak mind that she could exploit.

As she reached into the mind of near by thug that seemed to radiate with an air of anger and bitterness towards the visiting team, a loud klaxon rang out, signalling a goal had just been scored. A bright flash of rage echoed throughout the stand, as the realisation set in that it was the away team that had scored, it was not the best of timing to try influence the minds of those around her. The sudden rush of anger had overwhelmed her, putting an abrupt end to her attempts - but not only that, made her feel suddenly nauseous and her head pound.

Taking a pained sigh, Alyse shakily rose up to her feet - she could feel the onset of a migraine kick in, she needed to get out of the stands for a while, the sound of the cheering, booing and shouted insult was cutting through her head like a heated knife through butter. Gingerly she made her way out of the stands and out onto the concourse, before making a beeline over towards the toilets - desperately needing to throw up.

Korsak was still reeling from his head wound when he decided on another course of action. He decided instead of fixating on one hooligan he might try to seed greater anger and malice in the crowd around him. Unfortunately, given the dull, throbbing pain in his skull from the recently bottling, all he managed to do was radiate a milder version of his headache to those immediately around him, taking down some of the aggression in his immediate vicinity.

This wasn't working, and Korsak needed to not be surrounded by screaming idiots, so he used this brief distraction to slip out of the stands and down into the stadium proper.

Stepping back the blonde female reached for hygiene wipe from the wall mounted dispenser, spitting out the last of the bile that had filled her mouth into the cistern, before wiping her mouth clean of any remnants of her nausea and tossing the wipe into the toilet and flushing it. Taking a resigned breath, the cultist opened the cubicle door, and sheepishly made her way towards the wash hand trough, her blood shot tear soaked eyes making contact with those of her reflection. "My Kriffing head" Aylse groaned under her breath, as she regarded her pale features in the mirror with a grimace - it looked as if all colour and life had been drained out of her.

Taking a few moments to regain her composure and to try and press her mind over the throbbing pain of a thundering headache, each sound resonating out of the stadium stands seemed to cut through her like a knife, the light was easy enough to deal with, just had to squint a little to try and soften the exaggerate glare. Knowing that she could not spend the rest of her time standing there and feeling sorry for herself, she had a task to do, to ensure the betterment of her home world -whether the denizens would realise it or not was another thing.

Taking a deep breath, Alyse pushed herself away from the wash trough and headed out through the threshold of the restrooms and headed over towards the bar concession. Her eyes flitting upwards to regard the chronometer, there was perhaps another ten or so minutes remaining on the first period before the crowds would pour out of the stands. Giving her enough time to try and have a quiet drink as she recouped. "Large Soda water please" the blonde spoke as she approached to waiting barman, before perching herself up on the bar stools before reaching into her handbag, fishing out a credit chip to pay for the beverage as well as some pain killers. Plopping the pain medicine into her mouth before taking a few large sips from the soda water, Alyse sat and watched the large screens as they broadcasted the action on the rink, her mind and thoughts focusing on setting on clearing her head of its headache and finding a center within her and the Force.

As Korsak sat on the steps into the stadium, nursing his slowly fading headache, he simply decided to take the matter of instigating a riot into his own hands. Clearly trying to get this whooping hooligans to focus on anything was beyond even the power of the Force to achieve. He would have to do something more direct to whip these people into a true and proper frenzy, something he wasn't happy about but at this point was willing to put into action.

Dignity be damned Korsak moved down to the trash can at the bottom of the stairs and, finding no one around and no cameras in sight of the small alcove, leaned inside and fished a few empty bottles of beer out of the can. If he could be the one to throw bottles onto the field, he'd have a much better chance of striking something with a touch of Force power, and if he threw in the middle of a cheering or booing crowd his small size would make him hard to pick out in a security recording. And even if they somehow picked him out, he had no real digital footprint, no records, he would vanish into the massive expanse of the galaxy never to be seen on Bakura again.

Hiding the bottles under his massive jersey, Korsak slipped back through the crowd and into the stands where he found the off-world team, his 'team', was behind and everyone in the stands was in an uproar. Such an uproar, in fact, that a large nautolan fan ended up jostling the small Amaran, causing him to drop his bottles, which fell and shattered around his bare feet. He barely moved before he felt sharp pains racing through his toes.

The offending oaf didn't even notice him scream in pain.

Quietly the blonde haired cultist sat at the bar seat watching as the last of the period's action concluded, her brow furrowing as she sighed with an air of resignation, her head was still pounding from her migraine and she was not look looking forward to onslaught of rowdy fans who were about to descent onto the concourse. Flagging the bar man down, Alyse ordered herself a another glass of water, intending to take a double dose of pain killers in preparation for her throbbing brain feeling like it was being ran through a press.

Almost on cue with the drink being served, the immediate area was filled with an unintelligible din, as the home team crowds filled out from the stands, countless inaudible conversations taking place at once, getting increasingly louder as each group tried to talk over the other so they could hear their peers. With a groan, the blonde lent against the palms of her hands, her fingers rubbing at the temples on the sides of her head, in a vain attempt to nurse her throbbing head. Her chestnut hued gaze scanning around her surroundings as she tried to distract herself and keep her mind focused on something other than the nerve piercing din.

The blonde's gaze fell upon a small red enclosure sited at the threshold of the star well that lead to the stands, her eyes narrowing as her vision focused on the fire alarm call point - her mind musing on what the possible outcome would be if the game was aborted. Would the gathered crowds see it as being a genuine fire alarm, or would they see it as a deliberate attempt to get the game abandoned. Her musings were interrupted as her whole body jumped at the sound of a klaxon horn sounding out throughout the concourse summoning the fans back to their seats, a light sigh of relief escaping her lips as she watched the crowds dissipate back towards the stands - bringing about a notable drop in the racket that was cutting through her headache.

As the din, shifted from the concourse and into the stands, Alyse watched the screen as the players took back to the rink and squared up for the start of the next period. Her gaze intently following the action as the visiting team came out strong, their star player bypassing the home team and making a break away rush for the goal line. Before turning her attention over towards the fire alarm switch as a drunken Bakuran fan staggered towards the stair case -reaching out with the Force, extending her will into the Force and controlling the tendrils of her controlled energy over towards the device - triggering and activating the fire alarm system.

The rising cheers of the visiting fans, was suddenly cut short by the sound of the fire alarm. The siren echoing throughout the whole stadium , followed by the thunderous roars of booing, as a result of the game getting stopped, just at the break away player was about to score. Slumping forwards onto the counter of the bar, Alyse let out a pained groan, the combination of using the Force as well as the sudden overload her auditory senses was tipping her migraine over the edge. "Come on luv, you've gotta make your way over to the emergency exit" the barman spoke out as he put a hand on the blonde's shoulder, gently jostling her. Lifting her head, with a pained and nauseous expression Alyse nodded before tentatively getting back onto her feet off of the stool and gingerly made her way over towards the nearest emergency exit along with the other fans.

Once the thronging crowd realized one of their apparent own had just stepped in some broken glass, a Dowutin fan reeking of booze and sweat was, shockingly, gallant enough to miss out on Bakura's continued pounding in the repulsor game to carry a fellow fan down to the infirmary to get his feet looked at. A very small, very quiet part of Korsak was actually relieved for the help, even if he was being carried around like a stuffed animal.

The infirmary itself was just starting to fill with hooligans, struck with food sickness and bruised from minor scuffles on the periphery of the grounds, nothing to really worry about. As Korsak sat, having small pieces of glass plucked from his paw pads and gauze wrapped around his feet, he started to genuinely consider the idea that this operation was completely botched from start to finish. He'd just swallowed a round of cheap, over the counter antibiotics when the fire alarm went off, something that might have elicited concern if Korsak hadn't actively been trying to burn this place to the ground in the first place. Predictably, as the nurse ushered Korsak into the hallway to help evacuate him, they were mobbed by a throng of drunk, scarred, and frustrated fans fleeing the stands to escape the apparent fire. It wasn't hard to lose his beleaguered escort in the crowd.

Once he was standing, or more accurately wobbling, on the streets outside he and many other off-world fans looked up at the stadium to find...nothing. No licking flames, no smoldering red lights, no smoke trails, the structure seemed entirely fine from the outside. Something Korsak could use to his advantage.

"The stadium is fine!" He barked, drawing the attention of many nearby fans of both sides. "We were winning, we were kicking the kriff out of those Bakurans! Who pulled the fire alarm?!"

That statement was so loaded it was a miracle he didn't collapse under its weight.

To his shock and delight, Korsak found that a short string of words spread anger and resentment through the off-world crowd faster than the Force did, as they started to mutter and grumble amongst themselves. Then they started shouting questions and accusations, both at Stadium security and any Bakuran fans that came within earshot. The seed Korsak planted quickly took root in the crowd's mind and they started to, if not riot, then at least get agitated with the Bakurans. Unfortunately, Korsak found himself in the middle of the agitated crowd, and found himself taking several lumps and bruises as he skittered out of the large mass, slipping behind a repulsor car and slipping off his jersey to make a hopefully clean getaway.

Stepping out in the chill of the evening air, the blond surrounded by the evacuating crowd found herself being shepherded out towards the fire muster points, her ears pricking up at the mutterings of the crowd - remarking that the stadium didn't seem to have any visible signs of there being a fire. A couple of theories being batted about whether it was already contained, some suggesting that the fire perhaps was in the lower levels of the stadium and was yet to breach through the building. Part of her wanted to add to the speculation, but the pounding sensation of her brain put the kibosh on any desire to do anything other than to retreat away towards one of the surrounding walls of the stadium's landscaping to sit down.

Sat down at enough of a distance that the audible din was not ear splitting, but close enough to still observe and be counted by the marshals who were doing their utmost to make sure that all the attendees were accounted for - Alyse turned her attention of the side as a barked accusation cut over the chatter. Stating that the visiting team were winning the game, and that it must of been one of the Bakuran fan's that had pulled the fire alarm. Grinning internally at the shouted words, the blonde quietly observed through the Force as anger and resentment washed over the crowd like a tidal wave, the visiting fans voicing their irritation over the fact that not only had the alleged stunt could potentially cost their team the championship, but their own personal expense at the cost of travel and accommodation being wasted. The Bakurans voicing their own irritation that they were being excused of such petty measures, Alyse was amazed at the revelation that was unfolding before her. For all her belief that the power of influence lay within the Force, her preconceptions were being dismantled by what was taking place before her, all it took was a well placed string of words, not the Force to sour the blue milk as it were.

The voiced irritation, soon shifted into bickering between the opposing fans that were grouped together, before ultimately tempers started to fray. With something as simple as frustrated shove, the shouting match escalated into a physical confrontation, first the shove, then a punch - and before anyone on the outskirts of the evacuated crowd had the time to realise it was no longer an isolated incident with just one or two fighting amongst themselves, now more and more were piling in, Bakurans stepping up to protect their team's 'honour' whilst the off-worlders lashed out for having their chances of wining the championship taken away from them by their hosts's petty behaviour.

The only indication that things within the centre of the crowd had descended into violence beyond the shouting and shuffling of en shadowed figure, was a glass bottle that came crashing down at the blonde's feet shattering into countless shards upon impact. lifting her legs out of reaction, the blonde gingerly got to her feet and retreated away from where she had been perched observing the crowd - before retreating away from the bulk of the crowd along with the less violently inclined of the fans looking to get out of harms reach. Now was as good a time as any to get out of the area, as the shouting and movements of the crowd seemed to grow and grow - the sound of shattering glass and screaming building with each passing moment. Whilst part of her wanted to observe from a distance, watching and learning how the choice selection of words can fuel and escalate matters into what was now taking place - Alyse knew that the immanent arrival of the security forces, would soon bring sirens and flashing lights that would aggravate the migraine that was showing little to no sign of easing off any time soon.

The ensuing riot that was developing would need to be something that she would need to observe over the planet's holonet broadcasts.
