Star Wars: Chewbacca

A new Marvel limited comic series, Star Wars: Chewbacca, will begin publishing this October. It's written by Gerry Duggan of Deadpool, with art by Phil Noto of Black Widow. The plot sees Chewbacca stranded on a planet and in conflict with the Galactic Empire directly after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.

I have no idea what is going on in this comic.

Pretty straight forward. The girl and her father were forced into slavery for a crime lord that's mining minerals for the Empire. The dad was able to help her escape. She bounced around until she finally found Chewbacca. She was able to get him to help free the slaves because of his strong hatred for slavery.

I guess the intro just threw me off.

The art here is just fantastic. My favorite moment was the thug who tried to question Chewie and just shuffled away when Chewie gave him a stone cold stare,
