The steps you take don't need to be big,
they just need to take you in the right direction...
Emilia was born on Corellia to a small family in what they liked to call a “tightknit community”; in reality, however, it was a cult. Being young, Emilia was largely excluded from the community’s day-to-day activities (many of which were questionably legal), blissfully unaware of what was going on around her, and spent the majority of her time playing with the other children in and around the various abandoned structures and buildings that they called home. As the children grew older, they too began participating in the community’s menu of fun-filled activities - everything from money laundering to demonic worship. Of course, Emilia didn’t know how strange any of this was, having never left the compound and went along happily with the rest.
That all changed when Emilia and her friends were hanging around in the ‘barn’ drinking some homemade booze. As the night dragged on, they began to play a game involving dares. When it came to Emilia’s turn, she was dared to hop the fence – to leave. It was the expectation of the others that she would simply be able to jump back over immediately afterwards and return to the safety of the barn. That was not the case. Having never seen what was on the other side before, she leapt over confidently, before quickly discovering that the ground on the outside was not level with the inside by some margin. She hit the ground painfully, breaking her leg and wrist on the side she fell onto.
Cold and alone, she realised that she had no way to return to the compound. For the first night she slept where she had landed, occasionally somebody would walk by and cast a dirty look in her direction but nothing more. By the second night she was getting very hungry and left her home sweet home on the side of the pavement to find food. Having lived in the community her whole life, though, Emilia was penniless and so had to scrounge for what scraps she could find.
Hours turned into days, days into weeks, and weeks into months. Emilia was tired and knew she had to find a way to a better life, so when she began seeing news reports of a mystical group of people who strived to live in peace and harmony, the Jedi, she knew that that was who she needed to find. While it took months of hitchhiking and sneaking onto transports, she eventually made it, and couldn’t be happier.
Emilia is a kind soul, untouched and untainted by evil and simply does what she feels is right and just. She is often very childish and likes to crack jokes but rarely thinks to the consequences of her actions and words, be they good or bad, and regularly gets herself into trouble as a result.

Balls had never interested Caesia very much; why force yourself through awkward small talk for a few hours just to get mildly drunk when you could have much more fun at home? Nevertheless, she felt it was only appropriate she attend since the invite had received was from a Darth – someone not exactly on her list to annoy and potentially be publicly eviscerated by.
Being a ball, this was an exciting event to meet other members of the Order that she wouldn’t meet otherwise, so Caesia dressed to impress in a stunning red dress that would catch the attention of most if she walked by. As Caesia strutted through the tall doors into the ballroom, she looked to where their host was sitting at the head of the room atop her throne, unsure if she made eye contact or not at that distance. From her facial expression, Caesia decided that the Darth was secretly wishing she had never sent out those invites in the first place and would've preferred a quiet night alone watching Wife Swap: Core Worlds-Outer Rim Special in the bathtub. Out of spite for having been invited, she grabbed a handful of expensive-looking hors d'oeuvres and a glass of champagne from a passing droid and stood near the centre of the room, taking a look around the room to see small clusters of people pretending to have a good time.
Subdued music ominously played over the speaker system, creating a rather sombre atmosphere which did nothing to improve the mood after the Sith had lost a battle and, more importantly, was boring Caesia. She rolled her eyes and set off in search of a DJ to lighten the mood.

Have you seen a lightsaber before? Yeah this is one of those. Nothing special about it to the regular onlooker but it has sentimental value to its owner who sees it as a symbol of her new home. The leather wrap around the lower hilt is large enough to serve for one hand, however the hilt in its entirety can easily accommodate two hands gripping it, and can be attached to a belt by a small hook at the base.
There are two buttons/dials - one for ignition, and a second to adjust the length of the blade which can range from a minimum of 1m to a maximum of 2m. At the core of the hilt is a blue kyber crystal which emits a striking blue blade to match.
Legal where lightsabers are legal.
To serve as a description for Emilia's first lightsaber.
