Klied didn't much care for the city of Iziz, not that this would come as a surprise to anyone that knew him. He felt much more comfortable outside the walls of Onderon's capital, in the untamed jungles of his homeworld. But in an effort to accommodate his present company, and because he really did need a few days of relaxation, he had suppressed his distaste and was returning to the city for the first time in what must have been over a year. He and Poffo had both earned something nice. He only wished Aska had elected to join them as well. Iziz was a pleasant enough place when compared to most other cities he'd been to. Warm, more open, cleaner. And the Onderonian people, ever proud of their heritage, had made a concerted effort to preserve the older and more cultured architecture of their capital. For a more sane person a stay here might actually be quite agreeable.

Of course the moment he and his fellow bounty hunter stepped off the ship he was quick to try and lead him directly to their destination. He had no desire to be recognized here, and as a result was actually dressed in regular clothing for once. He wore dull unassuming colors and a cloak, the hood hiding his face. The trip from the spaceport to his home would not be a long one, but it would take them through the heart of the city, through bustling streets and vibrant market squares where peddlers pushed their wares.

Klied would only stop when he reached the gate to an enormous estate. Beautifully constructed, but seemingly abandoned. No one walked the grounds, no lights shown from within the windows, the grass grew long and the hedges unkept, cracks appeared here and there in the stonework, and wild ivy crawled all up the walls. The only sign of activity were two sentry droids standing guard at the entryway. As they approached one of the machines would step forward and extend a hand to stop them.

"Halt," It said in a deep monotone. "This property is off-limits to-"

"Security override, Kliedden Raxx." Klied replied curtly, and the droid immediately stepped out of his way to open the gate for him.

"Welcome home Lord Raxx and guest." Both machines said in unison, standing at attention. Klied wouldn't speak back to them but simply walked through the threshold onto the estate grounds. As he stood in the empty courtyard he would turn back to face Poffo and spread his arms wide, an uneasy grin on his face.

"Please make yourself at home!" He said. "Just be aware... There may be pests..." He didn't know the extent to which the manor may have degraded in his absence. It was very possible some local creatures had taken up residence in the meantime. So long as his arsenal was untouched however, he didn't much care about anything else.

As the ship came into Onderon's atmosphere, Poffo deflated as he looked out of the viewport. Trees, trees, and more trees. The entire damn planet looked like a jungle wilderness. Poffo didn't have a lot of experience in the jungle. In fact, he had just been to one. He was returning from that trip, but he barely survived it and his legs got blown all to hell.

Fortunately, as the ship flew high above the planet's surface, a city protected by high walls came into view. He could see the spaceport below and the capital city that held it. Poffo had spent nearly his entire life on Coruscant, but he was falling in love with Iziz even before the ship sat down. Poffo was a city boy, no doubt about that. Iziz had all the cosmopolitan luxuries of his home planet, but did so with beautiful landscaping and statues.

He nearly lost Klied several after they left the ship. Poffo was wanting to take in the sights, but the hunter was wasting no time navigating the city. Sauvage followed Klied to the gate of an unbelievable estate. It was massive, beautiful, if not well-kept. And when the droid starting barking to the bounty hunters to leave, Poffo understood why. Two ragamuffins like them had no business walking up to an estate like this.

But, then, for once, Poffo was speechless. Klied, in no uncertain terms, told the security droid to shut the hell up, and it actually listened. And then, when they passed through the gate, Klied told Poffo to make himself at home. All this time, through the multiple adventures where Klied and Poffo had cheated death together, beld together, and trusted each other with their very lives, Klied never mentioned that he was more loaded than Poffo after a knockout win on a Saturday night prize fight.

The brawler-turned-bounty-hunter slowly panned his head from one edge of the estate to the other before looking back at Klied. "Ooooh, Yeah.....hunter man...This is a most wonderful abode, if I do say so myself, and I do say so, yeah.." Poffo noticed that the landscaping had been somewhat...neglected. For a while, anyway. He never missed a beat, "Oh, but hear me out, Mr. Deep Pockets...If you brought me here to cut your grass, you can kiss Macho's ass, yeah!"

Klied laughed at Poffo's response, inwardly relieved that he didn't seem to be taking offense over the hunter having kept his status hidden. "Believe me my friend," He replied just as quickly to the brawler's quip. "I wouldn't trust you with a pair of nose clippers, let alone gardening equipment." He would then turn and lead the way along the stone pathway towards the main house's front doors. The stones were a bit uneven here too, with weeds popping up in places in-between.

"I suppose I should apologize for not having said so sooner..." He explained with just a hint of remorse. "I've made a point of trying to separate myself from my heritage. I prefer to be seen as an individual, not an extension of my family." As they reached the oversized doors to the manor house Klied produced a keycard and slid it through a reader. A moment later the doors opened inward on their own, and he stepped inside the building. The house had much the same aesthetic inside as out. Built to last and absolutely stunning when in it's prime, but made uglier from neglect. Lights flickered to life to reveal a place infested with dust and cobwebs, the air stale and unpleasant to breathe. In the main hall dozens of busts and portraits glared at them, all wearing different clothing that indicated a family history of hundreds, if not thousands of years. And all of them contained a clear familial resemblance to Klied's own features.

"I'll call on some folks to come and clean up the place a bit." He assured his guest. "Make things a bit more comfortable here. You can have your pick of any of the bedrooms in the west wing. I don't have any staff on hand though so you'll have to cleanup after yourself and go into the city for food." He stood around for a few moments, inspecting the large room around them and taking in the sights with a neutral expression. As ever, the Onderonian was somewhat hard to read. Eventually he started making his way towards the stairs on the opposite side of the room from the entrance.

"I can show you where the arsenal is," He went on as he made his way up. "I've got a fairly good variety on hand. Most are long blasters though, I don't know if those are your cup of tea, you seem more comfortable with hand blasters. And there's a range out back where we can practice." He paused to look back at Poffo. "There's a gym as well in the east wing. I figured so long as we're working on self-improvement you could give me a few lessons in hand to hand as well. I'm no slouch but... well you remember what happened the last time we slugged it out." Reflexively the hunter's hand moved to rub his jaw, thinking back to when he had first encountered the brawler back on Coruscant. He then looked back to Poffo and smirked. "So, honorable guest, what would you prefer first?"

When Klied said he should apologize for not letting Poffo know that he was absolutely filthy rich, Poffo shrugged it off. It wasn't any of his business, and it really didn't affect how they had handled their business in the field. While Poffo was never rich, he did hang out with promoters and some gangsters who were living high on the hog. People were always looking for a handout from people like that. Poffo was uncouth, but he wasn't an idiot. A rough on the edges cat like Poffo? He wouldn't have told himself he was loaded either. Based on looks, Poffo would be exactly the type of stray dog you would never get rid of if you fed him on your porch.

"Don't worry about me, Hunter-man. Everything I got, I earned it the hard way, yeah. I ain't ever asked for no handouts, no, no. And I don't plan on getting started being a mooching little punk today, yeah..." He looked around. "With the possible exception of a hard drink if you got one, if you dig what I'm throwing down, yeah."

Truth be told, Poffo didn't know what to do with himself. He had never had any lodgings that were "spacious" at all. Nothing that would be considered high class or high brow. He grew up in the lower levels of Coruscant. There was nothing nice about it. If you had a comfy place to sleep, you were ahead of the game there. Being told he could have any bedroom in the west wing? Poffo didn't even know what a wing was...I mean he did, but he had no experience with it.

When Klied gave him the choice to start with shooting practice or to give him pointers when the bad business hit hand to hand, weaponless combat. "Hey, brother, I'm a simple man, easy to please, yeah. You're the hostess with the mostest, so I'll leave it to you. I figured you want to start with the boom booms, yeah, because you didn't want to mess with these boom booms?" Poffo laughed holding up the hands he referred to as "boom booms."

"With the possible exception of a hard drink if you got one, if you dig what I'm throwing down, yeah." Klied laughed at that.

"Yeah, I can manage that." He replied, taking off his cloak and hanging it on a rack. In all honesty he hadn't expected Poffo to start asking for handouts. They hadn't known each other for that long, but Klied understood enough to know the Coruscanti wasn't the type to take the easy road. What he had really been afraid of was a possible shift in the brawler's perspective, that he might start to see him as some kind of soft, pampered brat because of his upbringing. He supposed his actions thus far in the field must have spoken for themselves.

Klied chuckled at the eternally strange language that Poffo used and nodded in reply. "Range it is." They would continue to walk through long, empty halls, the house seeming to stretch on into eternity. They passed dozens of doors, and despite the size of the building Klied knew exactly where he was going, stopping before another locked set of doors and this time using a handprint sensor to unlock it. Inside the architecture of the building changed quite starkly. The cream painted walls decorated with paintings, tapestries and other ancient relics were replaced by spartan grey durasteel. Racks and tables contained what must have been a hundred different weapons or more. As Klied had mentioned, the majority of them were rifles. Slugthrowers and blasters both, of various make and age. Some were antiques, others state of the art. There were hand blasters as well, a smaller but still impressive display. Boxes upon boxes of ammunition, and a few melee weapons as well. Swords and knives, again looking like they had each come from a different culture.

Klied took a few steps inside, smiling at the display, and moved to pick up and examine one of the rifles. "Anything catch your eye?" He asked as he took another look around the room. "I'm partial to the slugthrowers myself. More reliable, simple straightforward mechanisms. Harder for your target to trace rounds as well. Illegal almost everywhere these days unfortunately. People only like killing each other with 'civilized' weapons it seems." He chuckled at that and went back to inspecting his blaster.

Poffo rubbed his beard as he slowly walked through the arsenal. This was quite the collection. He turned around to Klied and nodded with a look of approval. "Never seen anything like this, brother." He wouldn't touch the guns, but he spent some time, looking at them. While Poffo wasn't much of a shooter, he spent his life in the rough lower levels of Coruscant. You don't survive down there without learning what does what. "You collect all these, or was it started by some of those old dudes on the wall?" Poffo asked, referring to the portraits of Klied's family line.

Sauvage tried to resist the urge to look at the hand to hand weapons, the knives, daggers, etc. As a man who loved to get in the grit and the dust and blood of testing a man face to face, fist to fist, the melee weapons appealed to him. But, at the end of the day, his spiked knuckledusters would do what these knives could....albeit a little less cleanly. Also, Poffo's personality...the bigger the better. He wanted to go for some of these carbines that looked like bloody death in a durasteel package. Appearances were always a big deal to Poffo. The persona, the look, even his awkward cadence and strange verbiage was calculated to a large degree. Part of him was a cartoon character, and he knew that and cultivated that. It's one thing to beat the hell out of people for a living. A lot of guys can do that. But the guys who got paid big prize money to beat the hell out of people were the characters that people liked.

As much as a massive assault rifle on his back, a bandolier with grenades and thermal detonators attached across his chest, and his face painted and bloodied would fit the profile, it didn't fit the fight. Character was important, but winning was paramount. Great characters that lost were still losers, and when it came to bounty hunting, losers could end up dead. Poffo's A-game was fists and knees and headbutts and elbows. It was breaking arms and cracking noses. Big guns meant cumbersome loads, and that interfered with hand to hand fighting. A pistol would have to do.

He pulled out a few models he liked the look of. Models that didn't appear to be obsolete. Models that wouldn't interfere with his fighting. And as much as he liked the idea of slugthrowers, he would prefer a blaster he could wear on his hip without getting arrested. He pulled out a DE-10 blaster pistol and a DT-29 heavy blaster pistol. He laid them both down an empty table and looked at Klied. "You're the expert, yeah? You think one of these would suit me?"

"Some I picked up myself." Klied answered Poffo's question as he swept his eyes over the assembled weaponry. He also patted the Westar on his hip that he had swiped from Mil Ro back on Coruscant, offering a smug grin. "Others are family heirlooms. Lot of Raxxes were big game hunters, military officers, that sort of thing."

He watched as Poffo browsed the collection before picking out two blaster pistols. Klied was just a bit disappointed, but it was understandable. Most people didn't share his appreciation of the old school slugthrowers. Dutifully the Onderonian stepped forward to give an explanation for each of the pistols as Poffo asked.

"Well, the DE-10 here?" He started, picking up the blaster and turning it over in his hands. "Has the higher capacity, fifty shots per pack. More durable, and the maglock holster let's you be quicker on the draw. You're sacrificing a bit on range but still a very good blaster, I'm a big fan." He placed it back on the table and picked up the DT-29 next.

"DT-29 packs more of a punch," He explained. "You hit your target, he's staying down. Longer range then the DE-10 too. BUT, it's a lot bulkier and the capacity is much lower, just six shots to a pack. That is offset by a smaller power pack, you can carry a lot more of them on your person. And you're a big guy, so it shouldn't be as hard for you to conceal." He furrowed his brow as he looked at the blaster before looking back at Poffo. "In our line of work I'm not so sure it's what you want. So far whenever we've ran into trouble we've had a lot of heat coming down on us. I wouldn't want to be carrying something with such a low capacity in a situation like that. Personally I'd say the DE-10 is the better pick." He placed the pistol back on the table. "But we've got all day, bring em' both. You won't know which one is best for you until you've fired it."

With that Klied would turn and make his way over to the rifle rack, collecting both a E-11s and a RT-97C, slinging one over his shoulder and carrying the other at his waist as he made his way out of the arsenal. "Come on, range is this way." He beckoned. "Grab some of those ammunition boxes as well." He would lead Poffo back down stairs and out onto the back of the estate grounds. Aside from a dirty pool and an overgrown garden was a long open stretch of land cordoned off from the rest of the grounds, with targets set up at various ranges. There were five shooting stalls, each with a table on them. Klied would set up the two rifles he had brought as well as his cycler rifle in separate stalls, leaving the last two open. Taking his own place he would pull out his Westar and aim it down the range momentarily before stopping to look back at Poffo. "So I've never asked, just how much experience do you have with blasters? Did T'lol or any of his boys ever give you any proper training?"

No question about it, it was a good thing that Klied was there to walk Poffo through what blaster did what. Fifty shots versus six seemed like a no brainer, no matter how much more punch the six-shooter had. Still, Klied invited him to shoot both, so Poffo would take him up on that offer. He grabbed both guns and the ammo boxes as instructed before following the hunter out onto his range. He watched Klied casually take a few long guns and carry them along.

"Very, very nice..." Poffo said to nobody in particular as he stepped out back. He wasn't talking about the pool that needed work or the overgrown gardens. He could see the targets down the long stretch of land and the stalls ready for shooters. He watched as Klied put all three long guns in a stall of their own. Poffo thought that maybe a stall for each pistol was overkill, so he placed the DE-10 down and picked up the DT-29, and making sure it was ready to fire.

"So I've never asked, just how much experience do you have with blasters? Did T'lol or any of his boys ever give you any proper training?" he heard Raxx ask.

"He may have given some of those two-bit punks some training, yeah," Poffo said. "But not me. All I did was whip people real, real good. He asked me to take a fall, but did I fall? No, no....No, I did not. I climbed that mountain, brother. Right to the top!" He grinned as he clicked the pack into the blaster. "And then I ran like hell. So, no. I know how to get the business end to send out the business, but I can't get the sons'a'bitches to hit anything."

"Well you've already got the hardest part down then," Klied joked in reply to Poffo's explanation as he faced down range again. "You'd be surprised how many people lack basic common sense when it comes to handling a deadly weapon." He lifted his blaster, making a point to grip the pistol with both hands, showing his partner how best to hold the blaster.

"Now you don't want your arms too straight, hold it just so." He went on as he took a more professional stance, like that of a trained soldier or police officer. Klied had gotten to a point where blasters were basically an extension of his being. He was comfortable firing from just about any position. But it was best to start with the basics. "You want to keep both eyes open, focus on the sights..." He raised the blaster to eye level and looked down the weapon's crosshairs, pointing towards a target about ten meters away. He fired a single shot, the heavy blaster kicking back a bit, though he kept the weapon under control. And his his target square in the chest.

He looked back towards Poffo with a smile as he lowered his weapon. "See? Simple." He assured him, then gestured to the blaster in the brawler's hands. "Now you give it a shot. Keep a good grip though, that one has some kick." Klied would step back and wait expectedly for Poffo to try, making sure to keep a close eye on his form so he could make any corrections.

Poffo snorted at the man popping the target center mass like he was showing off a little. But, Poffo would try to emulate it nonetheless. He stood much like Klied did, feet more or less square to the target. Poffo's massive shoulders and arms made it look exceptionally awkward, and truth be to told, it felt awkward. He appeared hunched over because of the muscles in his shoulders appeared to have him hunchbacked. His massive chest made it look like he had much more weight over his toes than he did.

Still, Poffo put the sights on his target, and through the metal grooves, he could see the sights moving in a circular motion all around the target. He couldn't seem to steady it. He tried to time the trigger pull just right, fired his shot, but the blaster bolt flew low and to the left of the target.

The brawler snarled a bit and tried it again. Same result. One more shot, same result. "Damn it!" Poffo shouted. Out of anger, Poffo raised it with one hand, fired off about 10 shots in rapid succession, 8 of them completely missing the mark, but two of them hitting the target. Quit pleased with himself, Poffo let loose an "Ooooooh, yeeeeeeahh!" along with a finger flourish with the hand did not hold the blaster. It was more excited than he should have been for 20%, but in a street fight, that 20% would have blasted the enemy to obliteration.

"Oh, yeah, Hunter man....I see the value in all those extra shots, yes, yes, I do," Poffos aid. "I love the extra bolts in the bang bang machine brother. I were right on with that, man."

Klied tilted his head and quirked an eyebrow as he watched Poffo try to match his stance. In this case it seemed the brawler's stature was actually something of a hinderance rather than a boon. It made it more difficult for him to hold the blaster properly, which contributed to his poor aim. Thinking back Klied had never seen a human quite so bulky as Poffo try to fire a blaster before. Perhaps he'd be better off training with a Besalisk.

"Those extra shots won't mean much if you burn through them that quickly." The Onderonian replied to Poffo's boast with a smug grin. "Try holding your breath before you fire, that will help reduce the swaying." He paused again to think. "And... I don't know, it usually takes a lot of practice to get good at firing one handed, but that might actually be better for you. You know, considering you're about the size of a bantha..."

He would turn back down range and raise his Westar with just one hand this time, trying to show Poffo another stance from which he could fire. Once again he aimed, held his breath as an example, and fired, hitting his mark. As they continued to practice Klied would come to realize that despite traveling with him for a good while now, he didn't know all that much about Poffo. Other than him being a former fighter that was.

"So, you've learned a bit more about me now," He spoke up a bit awkwardly between firing down range and reloading. "What about you Sauvage? What's your story? Were you taught how to speak Basic by watching old action holos or something?"

Poffo was listening, but he was also trying to figure out how to hold the pistol with two hands. That was another issue. He had massive hands. When he put his left hand up to wrap around his right hand as was the "right way" to do it, it was like wrapping his hand around a bowling ball. He fiddled with it, eventually extending only his right hand and firing a few shots one hand. He tried holding his breath after he took a breath and holding his breath after he exhaled. He was trying it a number of different ways. For now, it seemed he was getting closer to the target shooting one handed and after he exhaled his breath and would hold it there.

"What's your story? Were you taught how to speak Basic by watching old action holos or something?" Klied asked.

Poffo would answer between shots. "Just your basic lower level hood rat, yeah..." He shook his head. "Not really. Mom and pops worked at the same dive. Mom served drinks. Pops kicked out the riff raff. Oooh, yeah, there was a lot of riff raff. I had my both of parents growing up. Helluva lot better than most of those punks in the lower levels." He fired a few shots.

"Learned the basics of fighting from the old man. Man....he could swing the boulders, brother. Could really pound 'em, yeah. Once I thought I was grown, I started cutting a few corners to make some quick credits, if you know what I mean. Then I started fighting for some creds, found out I had a knack for it."

He grunted out of frustration and fired a few more shots. "Had it rolling like a fat girl down a hill on a sugar rush after eating seven Neuvian sundaes, yeah...yeah, I did. Damn that T'lol...." He rapid fired another several shots in frustration, missing the target more and more the faster he shot. He looked to Klied and shrugged. "My story is a dime a dozen in the lower levels brother. You either toughen the hell up or die. I was born without a lot, yeah. Now I'm working my ass off to get a lot."

He lifted his chin to nod to him. "What about you? You can live here, bring in a new gorgeous woman every night if you want...party like a celebrity in a place like this, yeah...Why do you stick your neck out on the line when you don't have to? Some sort of adrenaline junkie?"

Klied continued to fire down range while listening to Poffo's story, although he would occasionally glance in the brawler's direction to see how he was faring. His brow furrowed slightly when the man resorted to blasting like crazy to try and his something.

"Hey! Easy!" He called as he lowered his weapon. "You're not gonna hit anything like that." He paused to look at the ill-fitting weapon in Poffo's hands. "Maybe try the heavy blaster, see if it's a better fit." He said, nodding towards the other blaster Poffo had brought with them.

"What about you?" The brawler asked him. "You can live here, bring in a new gorgeous woman every night if you want...party like a celebrity in a place like this, yeah...Why do you stick your neck out on the line when you don't have to? Some sort of adrenaline junkie?" Klied grinned as he looked back down range and kept firing.

"Something like that..." He said, although the more he thought about it his smile started to fade. "My parents died when I was real young." He explained bluntly. "Uncle was a bit of a nutcase, spent almost all his time on hunting expeditions. He raised me. I've been from one side of this galaxy to the other, learning how to survive in every insane, deadly type of area you can imagine." He hesitated a long time, just focusing on firing at targets, his expression unreadable. "I... don't really know how to do anything else. The only time I really feel anything is when something's trying to kill me." He lowered his weapon as he looked back at Poffo, suddenly feeling very awkward.

"Oh... Sorry... That got kind of heavy. Don't get me wrong I loved the old man, and I'm happy with how things are. I wouldn't want it any other way." He insisted, smiling again.

The brawler did as suggested and put down the DE-10 so he could try his hand with the DT-29. It definitely fit better in his hands, and actually, even though it was heavier, he could balance it better. It didn't want to sway and move as Poffo breathed. He wasn't thrilled about the small shot capacity, but he wasn't exactly getting married here. He was trying things out. He lifted the gun, then paused, and then looked back Klied.

"Life is strange, brother, yes it is. We come from two different backgrounds. I had my parents, you didn't. You had money, but I most certainly did not." He looked down range at the target and chuckled before looking back at the hunter. "Damn near opposites, you and me. Yet, the life's curvy-wurvy roads led us to the same damn place."

Poffo stood like he was instructed in the beginning, used two hands and hit the target this time. He didn't bullseye it anything, but it was markedly better than before. "Ain't that a helluva note, yeah it is..." Whether Poffo was reflecting on his shot or their drastically different lives converging them on the same path was anybody's guess.

Klied remained quiet during Poffo's little speech, just looking down range thoughtfully. They certainly did come from different extremes as far as background went, but ultimately they weren't all that unalike. Personality wise it was night and day perhaps, but it all boiled down to one simple thing. Both were fighters, killers now. And both did what they had to to survive. He supposed that was all that mattered. The hunter smirked as the brawler finally managed to hit a target.

"That's more like it." He piped in cheerfully. "You seem more comfortable with the heavy blasters. And if you want a higher capacity there are models that'll give you that too." He raised his Westar as an example before placing it on the table. "Westar's got twenty-five shots per pack. Range is pretty abysmal compared to the others but the power makes up for it in spades. Not to mention most heavy blasters don't have a good stun setting. You should give it a try and see what you think. Course there are others you can try out later as well."

In the meantime the hunter moved over to the rifles, picking up the E-11s and inspecting it briefly before aiming down range. "Well for whatever reason we ended up working together..." He continued before firing down range, hitting a target some eighty meters away. "We're gonna need to start getting better at it if we want this to be a long and prosperous career. I can't help but feel we've been reliant just a little too much on luck these last few months. We've got our asses handed to us pretty badly a couple of times now." He fired again, hitting the next target at one hundred meters, at the field's limit. He knew what he said would require no further explanation. Their last adventure on Teth had seen both of them shot to pieces, he was sure Poffo was still recovering from the damage done to his legs. If they didn't improve themselves as bounty hunters soon the medical bills would start outweighing the prize, that was if they didn't kill themselves first.

The bearded brawler took the Westar in his massive palm and nodded. This thing was beautiful. I mean....this was a sexy pistol. It looked lighter than the DT-29, but it was every bit as weighty. But it was more balanced. Everything screamed quality about this gun. He lifted it up with one hand and eyed down the target with a sort of sideways stance. Before he could fire, Klied was talking.

"Well for whatever reason we ended up working together..." Klied said he fired some shots with a rifle. Poffo fired a few or three shots, and got his best grouping of the day so far. He still wasn't the great gunslinger Preef Callo or anything, but he was getting better. "We're gonna need to start getting better at it if we want this to be a long and prosperous career. I can't help but feel we've been reliant just a little too much on luck these last few months. We've got our asses handed to us pretty badly a couple of times now."

Sauvage let loose another volley down the range, dotting the target sporadically once more. "Yeah, yeah, I dig that man. I really do." He fired a few more shots. "But you know the old saying, I'd rather be lucky than good, yeah? There's something to that too, brother. Buuuuuuut.....I suppose, the more astute position to take on the matter would be to be both lucky....and good, yeah?" Another bursts of shots came out of the Westar, peppering the target again.

A thought came to Poffo's head. "You think we should advertise or something after we're all healed up? Do some holonet commercials? Oooooh, yeaaaah! That would be sweet. Can you imagine this mug all over the holovids? Too much pretty, brother. Too much pretty."

Klied would pause between shots to listen to what Poffo had to say on the matter. He had to disagree with the brawler on some points. Luck was great to have of course, but luck had a nasty habit of coming up short at the worst possible times. Well cultivated talent on the other hand could always be relied upon to get results.

The hunter couldn't help but chuckle a bit when his partner's mind turned to self advertisement. "Aren't there still a few people out there that want to put some carbon scoring on that mug?" He asked with a smirk before taking another shot down range. "Not to mention there's probably a very angry Hutt out there too that's likely to make trouble for us in the future..." Giving those people an easy lead to track them down didn't seem wise. Still, the idea wasn't completely without merit. Public Relations was one of the most important aspects of any venture.

"We should try to get a few more notches on our belt first." The hunter pointed out. "As things stand we've only got three significant bounties to our name. We need to bring down someone public. Someone that will get folks talking. Then we can really start raking it in." Klied fell silent again as he thought it over. He wasn't all that familiar with the criminal underworld, and Poffo's experience seemed fairly limited to the lower levels of Coruscant. He did have money though. Perhaps it was time he started using it to look for some big bounties.

The bearded brawler laughed as he fired some more shots down the range. "Hurt this beautiful face? No, no, a million times, absolutely not, brother. That would be a crime in and of itself, yeah. Worthy of a most bountiful bounty for sure, yeah." Poffo would fire some more shots. He ran out of shots in his energy pack and began reloading another. The Hutts...well, that might be another matter. "You said something about having Hutt contacts if my memory serves..." Poffo took a few shots, talking as he did. "Any chance you could smooth that over, brother? I mean, Bragg barely had a cup of caf with those blobby thugs. They can't have had time to bond and get all cuddly and feel the warm fuzzies. No, no. No time for that."

And, it appeared that Klied had big plans for the pair of them. He wanted to take down a famous target from the sounds of it. Something that would get some notoriety. "You got a big fish in mind, brother? Ooooh, yeah, maybe you don't and we have to dip the bobber in the pond and see what catches, yeah."

Poffo's massive chin nodded up and a sly grin caught on his face. "Yeah, sounds like some girls in the lower levels of Coruscant I know...drop your bobber in the pond, and not telling what the kriff you'll catch, if you dig what I'm laying down."

"Bragg barely had a cup of caf with those blobby thugs. They can't have had time to bond and get all cuddly and feel the warm fuzzies." Poffo said. Klied just shrugged his shoulders in response.

"It'd be more like a matter of principle to them." He explained. "They might not have cared about Bragg on a personal level, but he was in their employ, and we killed him. A good number of their other guys too. They remember that sort of thing." He took another shot. He was dead on target today. As Poffo moved on to discuss hunting bigger game a plan started to formulate in the hunter's mind.

"Maybe we should make our way to Tatooine." He suggested. "That's where I last did business with the Hutts. I guess you could say I've earned a little bit of credit with them. And if we can find a high profile scumbag anywhere it'll be there. The gangs on that miserable world are always squabbling. I'm sure we can find someone willing to pay for someone else's head." He paused in his sharpshooting to reload, then looked towards his partner expectantly, waiting for any input.

The Coruscanti kept practicing with the Westar, every so often, taking a look at Klied as talked. Tatooine, huh? Tatooine was known the galaxy over for being a regular hub of criminals and scumbags of all sorts. A bounty hunter could practically make a living and never leave the world...there just wasn't much to spend your money on in Tatooine except for liquor and women. Of course, to Poffo, this meant the plan may have some genuine merit.

"Tatooine, huh?" Sauvage chuckled a bit. "Not sure that giant dustball of a planet is going to be good for my complexion, brother." He fired a few more shots. "I ain't ever been there, sure haven't, but even I've heard about the kind of needy-seedy characters that call that place home, yeah. Honestly, might be my kind of place....place to set down roots, yeah..."

Poffo gave a look around and laughed. "You know, short of having a palace and estate like this all to myself, yeah." He fired a few more shots and turned to Klied, very serious. "Are the women on Tatooine as hot as the temperature?"
