Klied kept up his target practice with the E-11s, hitting each of his targets right on the money. Eventually he would set the weapon down and move on to the RT-97C and begin firing again. Even with all his experience Klied considered regular practice a vital part of maintaining his skills. Even if it had been drilled into him since childhood, he didn't like the idea of giving even the slightest chance to get rusty.

He listened as Poffo spoke. The brawler's impressions of Tatooine were largely correct. The planet had deep roots with the galaxy's underworld. Some of history's most infamous gangsters, gunslingers and other assorted scum had made their start there. Given his experience with the man, Klied figured Sauvage would fit right in there. As the brawler turned the conversation to the topic of the local women the hunter chuckled.

"Nothing on Tatooine is as hot as the temperature." He replied with a grin. "I've been to a lot of places but none where the locals will kill you for a glass of cold water." He paused to fire again. "But make your way into a Hutt's palace there and you'll find plenty of beautiful women. Great variety too, if you don't mind aliens." He gave Poffo a sly look. "You know... Rodian girls have one talent in particular I've yet to see matched by anyone else..." He chuckled again before picking up his weapon once more and turning it back down range.

"I'd say a little sunburn is worth the visit." He continued on a more serious note. "There's good business to be had there for bounty hunters. I think we'd do just fine."

Poffo laughed and shook his head. "I don't mind aliens, no, no. I like all kinds and a regular rainbow of colors, yeah. Red, blue, green...enjoyed them all, brother" He fired a few shots and then looked over at Klied. "I gotta say, that I draw that proverbial line at lizards, amphibians, and fish though brother." Sauvage fired some more shots from the Westar and actually put together a pretty nice grouping on the target. Not sharpshooter level by any means, but if it had been flesh and blood, the target would be dead several times over.

"Tatooine sounds like a nice place to scout for some work then, yeah, yeah it does. Once we're healed up and rested, I say we give some of those contacts of yours a try." He fired for some more. Poffo was fairly pleased for his progress on day one of target practice.

Poffo's life was changing quickly. For years, he ran under the radar fighting in one pit fight in the lower levels of Coruscant to another. So far as Poffo knew, Klied never spent any of his life being the hunted. Poffo certainly did. T'lol and his goons chased Poffo all over the lower levels with Poffo staying one step ahead. But now, Poffo was the hunter. A bounty hunter in fact. Before the career change, he hated blasters, felt they were the tools of an individual who couldn't handle his business like a man. Yet, now, here he was trying out different blasters with the express purpose of wearing one on his hip to shoot his quarry if needed.

Poffo loved action, taking chances, living on adrenaline. Slowly, but surely, Klied was training him to be patient, deliberate. As such, there was down time between hunts and even some down time during the hunts themselves. They had been getting the hell beat out of them, and were starting to require some heal time. But it was time like these that Poffo felt like an animal in a cage. It made him miss the fights, the women-chasing, the trash-talking, the roar of crowd cheering, "Macho! Macho! Macho!"

"Might even get to pick up a prize fight or two while I'm there...You know, to keep my boxing and hand to hand skills up to snuff..."

Klied nodded in response to Poffo's words. Tatooine it was then. Hopefully it would be a fruitful trip. Watching the brawler take a few more shots down range the hunter grinned with satisfaction. His partner was making good progress, he seemed to be a fast learner. If they kept up the training he'd be a practiced gunslinger in no time, at least good enough to bring down the scum their kind was usually sent after.

"Might even get to pick up a prize fight or two while I'm there...You know, to keep my boxing and hand to hand skills up to snuff..." Poffo commented, and Klied put his rifle down, stepping back from the stall.

"Speaking of which," He started. "How about we head inside and go a few rounds? We've only really fought each other once and that was cut short. I'd like to see how I stack up in a real match." They'd be here for at least a few days to recover anyway. They could always come back to target practice later. Once they were on their way back to the house Klied would bring up something else he had been thinking about.

"Another thing," He started thoughtfully. "A good way to avoid getting so busted up would be to invest in some proper armor. Bounty hunters tend to get shot at a lot." He looked at Poffo. "I could lend you the credits to get something for yourself if you want, and take the difference out of your cut of our next prize." He looked forward again as he kept walking and started to rub his chin. "In the meantime I think I'll take a trip to Dxun. There's a creature there called a maalraas. Their skin is allegedly so tough it can resist a lightsaber's blade. Very resilient against heat too. If I can bring one down it's hide would make for some great protection..."

Klied's survival skills extended beyond simple blasters and hand to hand combat. His training was so extensive he could be dropped in almost any environment with nothing but the clothes on his back and survive indefinitely. His peculiar wardrobe of furs and hides had been made completely by his own hands from the different beasts he had slain over his years on expedition. The maalraas was an exceptionally deadly predator, one dangerous even to Jedi. Even he had avoided hunting certain types of prey until now, but his recent successes had helped to build his confidence. Perhaps it was the time for such a detour.

The Coruscanti brawler was more than happy to get to some hand to hand sparring on the agenda. Blaster bolts flying by his ear holes he could certainly live without, but putting those massive fists into ribs or getting a clean shot on someone's orbital bone between their eye and nose and seeing the faucet get turned on as the blood poured from the nose...that was a thing of beauty. He admired the Westar a little longer before collecting all the blasters he brought and heading back toward the house with Klied.

As they were walking, Klied made mention of some body armor and hunting some exotic creature. Klied didn't understand the hunting thing, but whatever floated Klied's boat was fine with Poffo. "Oooh, yeah, going to go hunting for the exotics. You go hunt those crazy animals like I go hunt voluptuous Zeltrons ready to make my day, yeah." Truth be told, Poffo was all about the city. The woods, jungles, swamps...he had his full of fresh air back on Teth. He would be more than satisfied with smog and noise pollution again. "Send me a postcard of your wonderful great successes, yeah. I want one of you giving that big ol' maalraas a smoochie-poo right on the lips, yeah. Then we'll hang it up in the hallway with all those other fellow dignitants." Poffo 100% made up that last word. Obviously, "dignitaries" was the word he was looking for.

But, Poffo had to give consideration to body armor. His strength was his ability to throw hands, and a lot of armor could be restrictive he figured. When Poffo Sauvage punched someone, he got torque from everywhere- the hips, the shoulders, even the feet and legs. "Body armor, huh? You know of anything that won't slow my fists in a fistfight? I don't want no metal can preventing my lightning fast hands from speeding down to Broken-faceville, you dig what I'm getting at?"

As Poffo remarked on his plans for an expedition Klied couldn't help but laugh. He'd met more than a few big game hunters that liked to be boastful about their prizes like the brawler mentioned, taking pictures of themselves with their kills, sometimes quite ridiculous ones. He had never been the type for that though. "I'll see what I can do." He replied through a chuckle.

As his partner more seriously asked what kind of armor might be more fitting for his fighting style the hunter had to stop and think. He raised a hand to rub his chin as they continued walking. "I suppose you could try something of Echani make." He suggested. "They're pretty fond of their martial arts so I'd imagine they'd make armor that would be easier to fight hand to hand in. That or you could ask a Mandalorian. Their beskar is much stronger then other metals so you can still get the same level of protection with less of it. Of course those guys are fanatics when it comes to their beskar, I doubt they'd be willing to let any of it go for something as transient as money." He shrugged, unsure what other advice he could give on the matter. After all, his experience with the larger manufacturers was almost nonexistent.

After stowing their weapons back in the arsenal and locking it up Klied led Poffo to the estate's gym. It was a fairly large chamber with a wide variety of equipment and weights inside, as well as an open area for sparring and several striking dummies off to the side. Unfortunately most of the equipment, like everything else in the manor, needed cleaning. On one wall of the chamber were several cabinets and tables containing some basic medical equipment. Mostly bandages, towels and such, no bacta.

As Klied made his way over to the medical area he took off his shirt and hung it up as he started to prepare for their bout. As far as stature went he was much smaller than Poffo. He possessed none of the bulk the brawler in had, instead having the form of a trained athlete. His torso and arms were also covered in the crisscrossing scars of dozens of claw and tooth marks in various sizes and age. In addition there were a few scars from blaster scoring as well, although those were much more recently healed. As he started to wrap his hands he looked towards Poffo. "Gloves are over there." He nodded towards one of the drawers. "Might be a bit small for you though." He added with a chuckle.

A lot of the specifics were going right over Poffo's head. Beskar, Echani make...He just nodded as if he understood. If it was important, it could get explained to him later. The brawler helped put up the blasters and followed Klied over to a large, open gym. Poffo found himself impressed with the workout equipment....even if it needed a little TLC. Protein and the weights...Maybe Poffo could keep the muscle packed on a little longer than the normal man's prime...

He saw Klied's scars, but Poffo was a man scars as well...not to that extent, but it was common courtesy not to ask about where one got this scar or that scar. The men often bragged about them, but sometimes, on the lower levels of Coruscant, you got a scar from someone who gave you explicit instructions not to tell anyone about it. Out of respect for that inevitability, folks just didn't ask. No need to put someone on the spot and make them either lie or put some ganglord on to them for having loose lips.

So, Poffo just figured if he wanted to spill it, he would. But he would let him do it on his own time.

"Gloves are over there. Might be a bit small for you though."

Poffo tried to put on the gloves, but they were a bit too snug. Poffo's massive hands couldn't even come close to working into the gloves. So, Poffo walked over to the medical station and took some towels. He tied one around each wrist and then wrapped them around his hands, holding the loose end in his palm to make some makeshift gloves. "I've learned to improvise, yeah," Poffo said with a smirk.

He made his way toward the center of the open floor and looked at Klied. "I don't know what kind of fighter you like to think you are, but my opinion is, the stick and move thing don't work on the street, no. Street fights are won or lost in the first 10 to 15 seconds most of the time, yeah." He lifted his chin and looked at Klied. "You want me to show you how to knock someone right the kriff out?"

Klied chuckled a bit as he saw Poffo use the towels as makeshift gloves. It looked more then a little ridiculous, but if it worked it worked. He stepped onto the mat and listened to what the brawler had to say, this time differing to the man's clearly superior experience.

"You want me to show you how to knock someone right the kriff out?" Poffo asked. Klied grinned a bit nervously.

"If you can without actually knocking me out, sure." He replied. He didn't know about Poffo, but for his own part Klied didn't have a lot of experience just training with people. Most of his experience he had gotten from actually being attacked. He tried to kill his quarry from a distance, so if they ever got within melee range it was usually a life or death struggle. For obvious reasons it was something he tried to avoid. At knife fighting he was competent enough, completely disarmed though? He figured he'd be able to hold his own for a bit, but not too long against someone as seasoned as Poffo.

Poffo approached the hunter with a wry smile. "Promises, I can't make hunter-man, but I'll do my best, yeah." As the brawler came closer to Klied, he tried sizing him up...not to fight him, but to give him the best advice possible. Using Poffo's style may not be the best style for Klied. Poffo used his massive arms, shoulders, and hands to block everything from body punches to hooks and jabs headed for the head and face. Poffo's bulk allowed to him to take a ton of shots, a lot of them blocked with those arms and hands. Klied wasn't built that way. Still, the basics to knocking someone out were the same.

"Relieving a man of his consciousness is about two things, yeah, yeah, it is: Torque and target." He feigned a hard body hook with his left directed at Klied's right ribs. What Poffo would expect, is what most people do, even experienced, well, especially experienced fighters really, is for Klied to sink his knees a little, turn his body away from the incoming punch so that it would hit his side and not his stomach. He would expect someone like Klied to have the wherewithal to drop his right elbow to further block the blow. But, Poffo's towel-wrapped fist wouldn't make contact. His body now turned to the right would torque fast, whipping his hips back to his left and pivoting his feet with the massive hand at end of his right arm coming in with a hook and would stop just inches at what he fully expected to be Klied's unprotected left jaw.

"Torque and target. Dig it."

Klied stood silently as Poffo looked him over. When the man threw a punch his way however the hunter reacted quickly. Thinking back to the brief exchange they had when they first met on Coruscant, the Onderonian anticipated a similar sort of feint. Make him guard low so he'd be unable to stop another punch coming in from up high. It was a left hook this time instead of his knee, but the principle was the same.

Of course knowing what was coming and knowing how best to counter it weren't the same thing, so Klied fell back on the one surefire way to avoid getting hit. He backed off. As Poffo swung at his gut Klied outright jumped back instead of twisting his body, moving out of striking range altogether and bringing his hands up reflexively to protect his head. Afterwards as he noticed Poffo had stopped short of where he would have made contact anyway he felt a bit embarrassed and lowered his dukes again.

"Torque and target... Right..." He replied with a slight grin. He would then turn away from Poffo so he was facing off to the side and tried the technique a few times, throwing a feint to one side before turning his body and throwing a powerful right. "Like that?" He asked afterwards, looking back at the brawler for input.

"Yeah, yeah, something like that. But don't throw no feint in the real deal, brother. You let that club fly until it hits ribs, stomach, blocking elbow, whatever the hell the poor sap wants to take a shot. The rebound off of him with help give your torque in the opposition a head start, yeah."

It was sort of like physics...which would be a strange thing for Poffo to talk about, but this was sort of physics in his wheelhouse.

"Imagine if I had really hit you with the left body shot instead of coming up short. You would have had to really block the shot. You would feel it. It would take you off-balance if just a itty-bitty bit, yeah." He smirked and lifted his brow. "I doubt you would have dodged that second punch. You'd be calling for painkillers because of the first blow, yeah. But also, if you have to stop your own punch, it requires energy from you to stop what is already in motion. If you let the bantha bunghole's body stop your punch, you send all your energy into that poor sap with no extra energy cost to you, ya dig it? And bonus points because the recoil starts your momentum back for extra...you got it, brother...torque on the return trip."

Poffo looked at him directly and earnestly. "If you can get the first shot in on a guy, don't waste time with a feint, no, no. If you're squared up all toe-to-toe-like, hit that sumbitch as hard as you can as early as you can. Fights on the street are won in the first 10 seconds, yeah."

Then Poffo remembered their very first confrontation. The Super Macho Man punch. "The Super Macho Man punch is how I greeted way back in that back alley, yeah. A warm reception to Coruscant it was, yeah." He started laughing about it. "I didn't hit the button like I wanted to know, no, apparently not, buuuuuuut....since you saved my bearded ass in the rave not long after, it was probably for the best. Yeah, yeah it was."

He looked off, nodding as is remembering the events. He snapped back into it
Shameless Macho Man Slim Jim reference
, and said, "That was different, yeah. Were we squared up? No, no we were not, if you recall the fateful events of that Coruscanti night, yeah. I was running right at you. Yeah, that right there is what we call a very specific martial situation that requires a very specific martial technique, yeah. I call it the Super Macho Man punch, yeah!" He would raise his hands to do his signature finger flourishes, but his hands were wrapped up in towels. "Would you like to learn that super-special secret technique, brother?"

Klied was surprised by Poffo's in depth explanation. He'd never considered the brawler a moron, but didn't think him the sharpest tool in the shed either. His understanding of hand to hand fighting however struck him as quite insightful. Even so, thinking about practicality, Klied was somewhat unsure if Poffo's strategies would work as well when used by himself. Poffo was a giant, when he made contact with someone, even if they managed to block the punch, he did real damage. A few solid hits from him would put down his opponent no questions asked. Klied on the other hand wasn't able to put quite as much force behind his swings. It wasn't really a matter of talent, but one of mass. He just didn't have as much as Poffo. He could swing haymakers like the brawler described sure, but what was more likely to happen first? Would his opponent fall or would he just exhaust himself?

But he also needed to think about what kind of situations he'd be using these moves in. He was a hunter first and a brawler second. If he could help it, he'd be taking down his opponents from range. If they got close, he'd try to eviscerate them with his dagger like he usually did. Really what Poffo was teaching him would be more of a fallback plan, his last resort when backed up against a wall. He figured in that scenario it would make sense to just let loose with everything he had left.

When Poffo brought up his "Super Macho Man Punch" Klied smirked and rubbed his jaw, thinking back to how the man had nearly knocked him out cold when he tried to get the jump on him back on Coruscant. Yeah... That would probably be a useful one. "Sure." He replied to Poffo with a nod. "But I need to ask, what do you do if those first few hits aren't enough to bring your guy down? I know that's less likely in your case, but I need to think about myself here."

Poffo laughed and shook his head. "Listen brother, if you torque fast and hit your target, whatever you hit is going nighty-night. Yeah it is." He grabbed Klied's right hand with his own towel-covered ones and placed the hunter's fist so that his biggest knuckle was making direct contact with the biggest notch in the lower jaw. "There ain't many species who won't go down for the proverbial count or at least get woozled and doozled if you hit them right here, if you dig it. If they clench their jaw, you'll break their teeth. If they don't, that jaw will wiggle and waggle but that ain't what knocks them out, brother." He tapped Klied on the head. "When you rock that jaw, the brain starts pinging and ponging around uncontrollably like a drunk big girl when the beat drops at the club, if you pick up what I'm throwing down, yeah. Once the brain bounces inside of that dome, and the lights go out."

He narrowed his eyes and sort of hunkered down so he could be more at eye level with the hunter. "It looks like wild, crazy, haymakers, but that ain't what it is, brother. I know what the kriff I'm doing. Watch me do it real slow. See how much I move my arms when I punch."

Once again, Poffo rocked back to his left, torqued his hips with a slight shift of his feet to his right, and gave a super slow motion punch like he was going to hit Klied with a hard body hook. What Klied would notice if he looked at his arms as instructed, was that his punching arm didn't a move a lick. It was cocked and held tight against the body. The entire force came from the torque he generated from his waist. He made light contact with Klied's stomach and used that to bounce off, slowly, but bounce off to torque back to the left. He opened his eyes widely and motioned them toward his right arm which was now in position to throw a hard right hook aimed at the jaw. Again, the arm never moved an inch during the punch itself. It was held up, his elbow bent at 45 degrees, and the only thing that moved was once again his hips and a slight shift of his feet back to their original positioning. The slow-motion punch stopped right at Klied's jaw.

"People think that I knock people out because my arms are so muscular, my shoulders are so big...My arms got nothing to do with it other than I have more mass, brother. Force is mass times acceleration, yeah, yeah...Can you throw down with the scientific rocket one time? Mass times acceleration, oooh, yeah." He stood up and motioned over his body. "I got more mass than you, yeah. I dig that. Understand that. But you're more agile. You can train to accelerate your hips more than I'll ever dream to be able to. I've seen prize fighters so small that they damn near get laughed out of the cage, yeah...but I know better, yeah, yeah I do. If I see a small fighter, I know he knows two things...torque and target."

He tapped Klied on the chest. "You're a natural athlete, yeah, yeah you are. I've seen it. If you work at it, you'll generate enough torque to separate lower jaws from the upper, yeah. And I know you got the coordination to target the knockout button, brother. If you can deadeye a target from 50 meters with a blaster pistol, you can find the snooze button on a man's face, yeah."

But he got real serious, real fast. "But you know as well as I do, brother, if you don't win a street fight fast, you lose it fast. And if you lose it to the wrong dude, you don't get the chance to lose another one...not in the line of work we just started, yeah. Life or death fights...always, always, always go for the knockout blow. Don't patty-cake around with jabs and trying to dot people's eyes. It's a waste of time...and damn dangerous if someone ain't playing games and trying to knock your ass out."

Klied didn't pull back as Poffo grabbed his hand, instead trying to listen and watch more carefully. It seemed he had more to learn than he thought he did. His own technique in fighting got the job done, but he could see now it wasn't nearly as efficient as what Poffo was talking about.

Once more he stood by and kept his mouth shut while the brawler did a second demonstration, analyzing every detail of the man's movements with a critical eye. Just as Poffo had pointed out it wasn't his arms doing the real work, it was all in the waist and how he turned his body. It seemed the man's arrogance was at least somewhat earned. He may have been self taught, but he knew exactly what he was doing.

Klied took in what the brawler said about him being more agile and nodded in agreement. If he could get this technique down pat, he could picture himself delivering blows at a much quicker pace than Poffo could. Enough to batter anyone dumb enough to get in his way. "Right..." He said slowly, a more determined look in his eye. He backed off once more and took up Poffo's form again. Once more he performed the same combination, the body shot followed by one aiming for an imaginary jaw. This time he mimicked the brawler's motions much more closely, keeping his arms locked in position and moving his lower body more. He did the maneuver again and again, slowly increasing his tempo until he was moving as fast as he could manage, as though he were in a real fight. After a few practice swings he stopped to take a breath and looked back at Poffo, nodding as a grin came to his face. "Alright... I think I'm getting it... Now how about that super man punch of yours?"

"No, no, no, no, no, brutha....It's the super MACHO man punch." Poffo would try to waggle a finger, but his hands were still wrapped in towels, so it was more like a giant q-tip waving from side to side. "Precision...precision....dig it."

Poffo squared up on Klied his left leg in front, allowing his power right to be be cocked just below his chin. "Here's the thing with the super macho man punch, yeah...It's all about deception, yeah, yeah. When you think I'm zigging, I'm zagging. When you think I'm flipping, I'm flopping, dig it?" Poffo would move his left jab hand around and fein a cross with his his power right by squaring his shoulders quickly, but opted for a surprise attack as his forward leg whipped at the knee of the Hunter. Poffo had remarkable control. If it landed, it would smart a little bit, and might even buckle him up, but it wouldn't do any damage. Poffo's control was so precise, his shin would have connected right in the notch of a bent knee which meant no bruising. With Klied anticipating a punch, Poffo thought the leg kick might well get through...but that was the point.

Klied chuckled at Poffo's correction before putting up his dukes and squaring up with the brawler. "Right, super macho man punch." He repeated, and prepared himself for the Coruscanti's incoming attack. As before he watched the brawler's movements closely, trying to absorb everything he was doing so he could replicate it himself later. He thought he saw what was coming, and raised his guard to protect against an incoming right. Poffo changed his course at the last second to throw a low kick however. Klied caught the movement and tried to reach, but was too slow, taking the blow and grunting as his reflexes almost made him go down on one knee from the impact. The hunter hopped back again, keeping his guard up, he squinted one eye shut from the smarting pain he had just been given.

"That was a lousy trick..." He said with a smirk, taking it in good humor. "I guess that's how this goes though huh?" He approached the brawler and squared up again. "Lesson learned. Now come on, show me the big punch." He was prepared this time for any more tricks the brawler might have had up his sleeve. If Poffo came at him again with something like that, he was ready to give him a surprise of his own.

A big, burly laugh left Poffo's mouth and he nodded. "Yeah...yeah...I think you get it, bruthaaaa, yeah. The Super Macho Man Punch works under the same premise, yeah it does. I gave you the leg kick because when you have to square up on someone, starting with a leg kick and not a punch....oh, brutha man, that rocks their world, yeah...It scrambles the insides of their cranium, if you dig what I'm saying. That's when you got 'em, yeah...yeah, you do."

Poffo would again slowly show the process as much as he could. He would start by showing him a simple snap front kick. "Throw in one or two of these if you can, yeah...This is the closest thing to the start of the Super Macho Man Punch...Get that poor sap watching that leg, and brutha, he will be asleep before grandma, I guarantee that, yeah I do. Plus, it gives you some space which you will need to maximize the unch in the punch, yeah." Then again slowly, he lifted his front leg as if it was a front kick and then held it there, perfectly balanced.

"This is where it gets tricky, real tricky, yeah. You remember in that alley when I popped the Super Macho Man punch on you? You thought it was a flying knee, yeah...I sold it like a used speeder salesman, I sure did...When that knee is the air, you're going to go airborne for a second...yeah, like a regular Loth-bat...You're going to whip that front leg that your faking the kick with...you follow me?....You're going to whip that leg behind you...you dig? You ain't gonna kick them with it....you ain't gonna give the ol' knee in the chest with it...no, no...It's all a fake, a ruse, a rope-a-dope. Whip that leg back and the other side of your body, yeah, the side with the fist that's bringing the thunder...it's going to provide a little heat to the pepper, if you dig what I'm saying."

It was really impossible to show it in slow motion because Poffo couldn't levitate, so he showed him several times in full speed. Front leg feigned a front kick with his left leg and it whipped back as he picked up his other foot. Simultaneously, his power hand spun forward, the front kick whipping back providing more spin and power to the fist. The punch actually happened while both feet were off the ground.

"It ain't easy, and feels real kriffing awkward until you do it a half thousands times, yeah....But, what's the principle we're using here, hunter man, to make this punch all Super and Macho?"

Once again Klied stood back and observed Poffo's demonstrations, making sure to take in both the explanation and each minute movement as he performed the feigned kick and punch. He nodded in understanding, and once the brawler was finished, set up to try it out himself. He took a bit of a moving start before jumping up for the knee and then whipping his leg back around to give momentum to his punch. His 'Super Macho Man Punch' of course. He could immediately tell this one would require some work. He stumbled the first time, then the second and third. He figured he'd probably be able to land the blow at least. Staying on his feet afterwards might be a bit of a problem though until he'd practiced the move a bit more. Nevertheless he was satisfied to know the basics.

"You really put everything you've got into it huh?" He asked Poffo as he ran through a few of the techniques he'd just learned, trying to emulate how the brawler fought. "Must feel like getting hit by a cruiser at lightspeed. I'm lucky you didn't break my jaw last time." He briefly remembered their encounter in the alley again. He had managed to just barely turn away from the hit, thus shielding himself from the worst of the blow. And it still knocked him straight to the ground and loosened a few teeth.

"I hope I can put some of this to good use." He continued as he kept throwing punches at the air, making sure to turn his body as the Coruscanti had. "Hand to hand should be particularly useful as a bounty hunter. You can still beat the kark out of your quarry without killing him. Soften em' up so they're easy to bring in. Good for use in the close quarters where the cowards will try to hide..." He continued thinking it over as he went over the techniques again and again. "Soon enough no one's gonna stand a chance against Raxx and Sauvage."

Poffo shook his head. "Right...right...lucky indeed you are, hunter man. Lucky, lucky, lucky, yeah. You know I still have nightmares about not connecting clean that night, yeah. So close to a highlight real, a real HoloCenter Top 10 play, yeah! But I missed the button, yeah I did and that was lucky for you. Bad for me, but lesson learned like an a super-scientific rocket, yeah."

Poffo pulled on his beard a bit at the sound of "Raxx and Sauvage." That wasn't going to get anyone's attention. They needed something flashier. Something that catches the eye and makes the ears ring. "Right...right...We're going to need a better name. How about something like the 'The Hunter and the Super Mr. Macho Man.' Oh yeah, now that has a ring to it brutha. Or we could go with the the Raxx Attack and the Macho Madness!' Brutha, brutha, brutha, bruthaaaaaa! Now we're hitting some marketing gold, some bona fide naming genius, oooooooo, yeahhhh!!!"

(Insert finger flourishes minus the fingers because of the towel wraps on the hand.)

Klied got a good laugh out of Poffo's suggestions. "Raxx Attack! Ha! I like it, sounds like a super hero from one of the holos." Of course in Klied's experience bounty hunters were typically just known by their names. The Fetts, Cad Bane, Bossk, Din Djarin. Things may have been different on the pit fighting scene, but as far as the Onderonian was aware bounty hunters didn't bother hiding their identities behind any kind of alias unless they were going undercover for a target. They tended to let their deeds speak for themselves.

He went back to practicing his new techniques. "Let's not get too ahead of ourselves though. We're still pretty small fish as far as the galaxy's concerned. If we jump into the deep end too soon we're going to end up getting eaten. Need to keep training, keep racking up bounties, expanding our reputation and contacts. One step at a time, slow and steady wins the race." They were off to a good start though. While they spent the time on Onderon to recuperate Klied would continue to push himself further, trying to improve his skills as much as possible. It would also probably be wise to invest in cleaning up his home, making it fit to be a base of operations. All of these thoughts would run through his mind as he continued to practice.

(Want to wrap this one up?)

Poffo didn't want to admit it, but Klied was probably right. In fact, Klied was probably being kind to Poffo. Many bounty hunters weren't fit to be cage fighters, but were quite adept at blasters. Klied fought hand to hand better than most and was in the elite arena with the guns. He was ready. Poffo was the one that really needed to beef up some skills, mainly blasters and investigation. Still, good marketing wasn't a bad idea in his mind. Despite the difference in opinion, he couldn't help but smile.

"Well, brutha, when it's time to make the business cards, I'm on it, ya dig?" Poffo started to unwrap the towels on his hands as it appeared the lesson was more or less over. "Yeah, yeah, let's get healed up just right, good as new, yeah, and keep training hard, brutha. We got a chance to be a pretty damn good at this collecting bounties thing, yeah...yeah, we do."

Poffo patted Klied on the shoulder and then used one of the towels to wipe the sweat off of his face. "But until the next bounty....what about that stiff drink you said you could manage? I bet in that cobwebbed mansion of yours, you got some nice old whiskey tucked away in that joint, yeah..."
