"Right, eh.. welcome to this Holographic meeting. Your superiors have selected you for this task-force based on your skill, motivation and incorruptibility. I'm going to keep this short but our goal is to get enough evidence to justify an arrest warrant and capture bounty on the current leader of the Black Sun, Xar. So, ehh, let's get this thing started." ​

Chatter tells us that two recent crimes could be linked to criminal operations of the Black Sun. Now, we don't know what these 'criminal operations' are and someone decided that these crimes didn't warrant a priority investigation by the local security officers so whatever trail there was it's most likely cold by now. So that's where you guys come in. You're the best Sector Rangers our service has to offer and if anyone can bring these culprits to justice it'll be you. Just don't go blasting them. We definitely want to know what these 'criminal operations' entail and a dead lead is no lead.

Case I: Murder for Hire?

Three days ago a woman walked into a known gangster hang-out, pulled a Quarren by his face-tencils, took his automatic blaster and proceeded to unceremoniously end the lives of an entire Coruscanti speeder-gang in a massive shoot-out resulting in considerable collateral damage. She then dropped the spent blaster, casually walked out of the cantina and disappeared seemingly without a trace. Find her.

Case II: Loose Ends?

Three years ago an accomplished CorSec employee retired. He was well-liked and knew everyone there was to know on Corellia. Many expected him to spend the last two decades of his life on a beach world somewhere catching a surf, but due to a transgression of his in his teens, CorSec denied him most of his well-deserved pension. Left utterly broke with nothing but his many connections, Dill 'Surf' Hansen became a fixer that was trusted by both the 'good folk' needing an end to an unhappy marriage and the 'bad folk' in need of credits. Yesterday he was shot in the face at point-blank range by a kid in his early teens. Find out who told him to do that and why.

OOC: As some of you might already know from our Discord, the 'Eclipse Taskforce' will be the narrative behind almost half a dozen plots to take down the Black Sun. This is the first one. If you sign up for this plot and more specifically to one of the cases, you're committing yourself to all three threads. The OP of all six threads in this plot will be posted by me to give you guys a narrative from which to base your investigation on. Aside from this opening post all threads are [ASK] and [SELF-DM].

As for who can sign-up: Sector Rangers are picked first. If you're a jedi/sith/freelancer/BHG/slicer/rat you can apply (please add a bit on why your character would join the taskforce). I'm only looking for [4] players right now, but if you're missing out now know that more will be needed in future plots.

Haji is friends with several Rangers and would want to prove his aptitude to them as well as make a difference in the galaxy to root out criminal operations. He's had personal experience with crime syndicates and is interested in them. Haji's for the individual and would want to help in specific ways like this.
