DESCRIPTION​

Recently developed in the design rooms linked to the Christophsis driveyards, the Thorne's Endeavour line of starships was begun as a project to ensure that the ISC Navy would, eventually, no longer need to rely on exports to supply it's own ships. Named after the first president of the ISC, the TE line of ships covers everything from Cruisers to Starfighters and everything in between. Currently developed and produced exclusively by the shipyards above Christophsis, this will be expanded to other ISC shipyards as they become available.

As the designation implies, it took the developers a long time to come up with the mainline fighter for the ISC Navy and it went through many revisions. In the end there was a desire for the ship to be able to minimize its size when in the hanger (hence the folding 'bottom leg' of the design) and for it to be agile. To enable the fighter to be more agile despite it's size and shape, the decision was made to allow it to fly with it's 'bottom leg' both extended and trailing behind. Further power was diverted from proposed weapons systems to give it a lighter punch to make it more agile.

Unfavorable comparisons to the well-known B-Wing heavy fighter aside, the design was, naturally, inspired by the B-Wing but it was, essentially, scaled down to make it less of a heavy fighter and more of a standard generalist fighter. Not as fast or as agile as the X-Wings it was designed to replace within the ISC Navy however, the TE-34 had the main advantage of being far cheaper and easier for the ISC to produce.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. Due to their production being exclusively for the ISC Navy, anyone owning one without being confirmed as a member of the ISC Military would be considered suspicious for flying in one.

INTENT​

Intent is to have a mainline starfighter for use by the ISC forces to keep them from using models from outside their own space. Specifically the idea is to create ships that will primarily operate out of the TE-2 Carrier/Destroyers and Lucrehulks used by the ISC Navy.
