BIOGRAPHY

Tegan was born on Terminus, a planet at the very edge of the known galaxy. His life as a freeman was short but hard. Raised by a family of rugged frontiersmen, he was taught to have great pride in his independence. Unfortunately, that independence came to an unceremonious end when he was just eight, as a pirate raid killed most of his family and saw him separated from his remaining siblings to be sold into slavery under the Hutts. Tegan was taught humility quickly, having much of his defiant nature beaten out of him. The boy instead learned to rebel against his masters in more subtle ways, stealing when he could and picking up whatever skills and information he could find. This was all for the purpose of eventually escaping, though his failed attempt saw friends killed and him relocated to a more secure location on Mataou to be ‘disciplined.’ This turn of events ended in his favor however, as when the Hutt palace there was overrun by the AMS plague, a group of Jedi and mercenaries freed him and his fellows from certain death. Tegan was almost killed during the escape due to the actions of one of the mercenaries Kliedden Raxx, who as recompense offered to take the boy under his wing until such a time he could fend for himself. With little else to do and nowhere to go, Tegan agreed.

► 135 ABY: Tegan's home is attacked and he is sold into slavery for the Hutts
► 143 ABY: Tegan is freed from slavery and elects to join with the bounty hunter Kliedden Raxx and his group
